We visited here for 2 trial lessons for our kids. Only after the fact did they tell us that their membership requires a 12 month commitment. If they had told us that at the front end, we have never walked in the door. But to make it worse, we are doing martial arts because our kids are painfully shy and have difficulty with new situations. So we put a lot of stress on the kids to try this place out, when we would have never tried it out in the first place. Now we will have to stress the kids out at a new place that has some class plans that fit with our family and finances.

Excellent work with a shy 4-year-old. Very engaging class for young children.

Master Changs in Cary is a great facility. Small, but mighty ;) Very high quality instruction, good instructors, and very entertaining for my 6 year old boys. Teaches great values and lessons to them, like focus and general good behavior. I recommend for any child (or adult!).

My son has been going here for about 5 years. He is going for his second degree and takes Hapkido as well here. I recommend any of the locations.

Master Chang’s Martial Arts is a quality establishment. Energetic and knowledgeable staff, passionate students, and good family friendly atmosphere. Very happy to have my children taking classes here with Master Gabe and the rest of the staff. Our son has been at the Master Chang’s location for over 3 years now... and his next test will be for the black belt. We chose Master Chang’s because they do a great job of incorporating fun while always maintaining discipline and structure. It has built our son’s confidence, especially since joining the Demo team. Earning his black belt is a great example of setting a goal and achieving it through hard work and effort. The staff care about the kids- and know everyone’s name!

My son has been taking classes at the Cary location for a year now. He absolutely loves it. Master J Park and his staff encourage him to do his best and make him feel great pride in his accomplishments. He has definitely developed greater self discipline, greater focus, and endurance. He has made great friends and feels like a real team member. Its an excellent program for children and adults...you will definitely get in shape!

My son has been taking lessons for about a year and I have seen wonderful changes in him. He is a typical 7 year old boy with too much energy and they have taught him discipline and respect as well as amazing martial arts skills. All of the masters are wonderful and they make him feel like a part of the family. His grades have also improved due his improved discipline and confidence. Highly recommend this school!

Weve been going to Master Chang, Cary for over 3 years. My son just turned 6 and we celebrated his birthday at Master Chang. It was incredible! They made my son feels so special. The whole experience was wonderful. Master Kim has everybody attention from the start. He was so good with the kids and got everyone doing Taekwondo including the parents. The kids and the parents loved it. My husband and I got so many compliments from our guests about how amazing it was. Ms Sarah was excellent. She was nonstop and took care everything. She went above and beyond our expectation. Master K was so funny and was very good at keeping everyone engaged . His positive energy was contiguous, everyone had a great time. The staff was amazing and made my son feel so special. My son was the center of attention. I would definitely recommend birthday party at Master Chang, Cary. You wont be disappointed.

At first I was a little discouraged by the size of the place, but man was I wrong. My younger sister is a member and it only took their free trial class for my family and I to be convinced that committing for four years is definitely worth it and we havent looked back since. Master Changs Martial Arts in Cary has an unbelievably supportive and friendly staff who seem to really, really enjoy what theyre doing. Not only do they teach the form and athletics aspect of the sport, but they also include the cultural and stress on character building with their weekly life skills. My sister is always excited to go train and practice. Thank you Master Kim and Master Chris!

My son attended a birthday party here last year and has been hooked every since. He has fun and is also learning life lessons. The instructors are engaging and the kids love them.
