This place is awesome for someone who just wants a good haircut. I recently moved down here from New York and was tired of paying 40-50$ for a haircut in Durham and Raleigh. All the workers are friendly and do a fantastic job with my cut. Never disappointed. Always get me in and out of there quickly.

This is a “traditional” barbers shop in the sense that’s there’s no loud music, no gimmicks just men’s haircuts. No appointment necessary just walk in and there are usually 3 men cutting hair. Good conversation if you want one if not that’s ok too.

I love this place, each of the three men provide a solid haircut for a fair price.

Ive been a patron for nearly a decade, going almost every 2-3 weeks. They cut mens hair with precision but the atmosphere and conversation is what keeps me coming back time and time again. I cant emphasize enough how glad I am to have a place right around the corner where I can escape my workday and dive into a story, maybe about fishing, while getting a reliably high quality haircut and shave.

Very, VERY professional barber shop.Very clean and well maintained. Old school barber shop feel, but updated building with modern day amenities - not run down and old like some of the others in the area. As others have mentioned, they give you exactly what you want/ask for/explain to them. I went in as a first time customer yesterday, 8/28/17 and the gentleman listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I was looking for. Following all of the detailed instructions. Straight razor shave on the neck is a automatic + a star! Rare to get now a days, but I appreciate it when a shop does this. And the prices (for the area) are incredibly reasonable! $16 + tip for a cut. Well worth every penny.I will be coming back to this barber for as long as Im in the area!

Professional service and skill 100% of the time. Ive had haircuts by each of the three barbers and always been satisfied, even with little direction. They can get you whatd youd like from a photo or short description. They usually have sports on one TV and old-timey shows on the other.

I have been going to these guys for years and it is so worth it each time. You may be turned off by the walk in type structure they have in place, but it is worth the wait. They give me a perfect hair cut every time and make you feel super comfortable with polite conversation. Any guy looking for friendly, expert barbers, this is the place to go. Their name is very accurate!

Perfect barbershop ran by Jeff & Mark, who really enjoy their profession. Ive had cuts from both gentlemen & theyve consistently delivered exactly what I ask for. Theyll know you after your first few visits, so just take a seat & tell them the usual & theyll get you covered in no time. Plus the hot lather straight razor trim to wrap up that fresh cut is very rare to find these days! Proud to call this place my barbershop for over a decade & will continue to be back every month. Keep an eye on their shop times though, not open on weekends.

I finally found an awesome barber shop in Cary. I have been going to them for about 3 months now and I feel great every time. Both the barbers do an amazing job - they are very efficient with time, without compromising on the quality of the haircut. The shop itself is amazingly clean and well-kept. The price is very reasonable (only cash/check though).

The place is neat, clean and roomy unlike the other barber shops in the area. I wear my hair short but it still isn’t easy finding a place to get it done right. The gentleman listened to how I wanted my hair cut and delivered exactly that, complete with the straight razor neck shave. I was in and out really quick too.

First trip there today. Went in after a long night of work. I have always just gone to chain places like sports clips or great clips but this was 10 times better. Im currently growing my hair out and just needed a trim up/touch up and Im 100% satisfied. Unfortunately I dont remember the name of the gentleman but he was superb. First off, I didnt know it was cash until it was my turn and had only credit. He was very accommodating and even cut my hair knowing I would have to leave to get cash afterwards. I could have just left without paying. Thats trust you dont get anywhere else. He listened and engaged like a barber should and was done in a flash. I asked if he could fix something and boom, it was perfect. HIGHLY recommend. Youve got a customer for life!

Great basic haircut. They dont take credit so bring cash. Also, first come first served so pick an off time to minimize your wait. They use an electric clipper attached to a vaccum which means you get a great haircut without feeling all itchy.

This was my first time going there. I really loved the haircut I received, and my wife did too, which is important! If you go there make sure to bring cash, since they dont take cards at all. This will surely be my recovery place to get my hair cut.

Jeff and Mike operate a hard to find old-school barbershop with cuts that end with a hot save and straight-blade to leave a clean trim around the edges. Both are fantastic at communicating with you to be sure they know the hair cut youre looking for. They have two televisions tuned to ESPN and classic programs like Gunsmoke.

This is a totally comfortable, traditional style Barber Shop. No frills, just classics on the TV, comfortable chairs and barbers that are true professionals. Great place for any age. Cash only but totally worth an ATM visit on your way in.

If you are looking for a slick, hip, fancy hair cutter. This is not the place. Its an old fashioned barber shop. Two barber chairs, two barbers and the place is spotless. The have two tvs on the wall tuned to the old rerun channel, mostly westerns. They use a vacuum hose hooked up to the clippers. First time I ever had that used on me, but it works. Clientele is mostly middle aged, old aged and kids. Barbers are very friendly and pretty fast. Dont let the line worry you. Cuts are good and consistent and priced around $16.

I really hate giving places less than 3 stars, but I feel that its warranted in this case. I had never been to this barber shop before but its right across the street from work and I hope it would be an easy place to get a good trim. They are quick, to a fault. I asked the guy for a 2 up the sides fairly high and finger length on top. I thought upon leaving the haircut was ok and the price is actually fairly cheap for the area. I got him and washed my hair and basically my head looks like a chessboard of different lengths, my hair in the back is at least 3 inches long, certainly not finger length. And I guess to me it feels like the guy just wanted me out of the chair and didnt really care whether he did a good job. Ill be back at A better mans next time.

W a name like that I built up the haircut in my head too high of a level.They were no different than any other barber I have gone to. Nothing wrong w the barber and how he cut my hair. Only with a name like this I was exspectingThat the haircut would blow me away.The barber seemed rushed to get to the next client-I felt that the owner or manager was pressuring employees to work faster and take clients faster.

You can go to Sports Clips and pay more then after a week walk around looking like you cut your hair in a wood chipper or....You can go see Mike and Jeff. Ive been getting my haircuts here for the past 6 months or so and I wont go anywhere else. Mike has always cut my hair and has always done a great job and I highly recommend.

I have been going to this barbershop for quite a few years now. Before I found the Professional Barbers of Cary, I could not find a reliable place to get a hair cut for the life of me. I have introduced a few friends to this shop and they are also now regulars. All in all, Jeff and Mike are both amazing barbers and I can honestly say I have never walked out of the shop with a bad hair cut!

As the hair is cut, the vacuum pulls all the loose hair away from your body. No more itchy problem after a haircut. Hooray! I will definitely go back again for my next haircut. Price $16.

Mikes been cutting my hair for years. No appointment, although Jeff takes appointments. Does a great job and your in and out.

Poor service and poor haircut. No other customers were in the store but the only barber made me wait over 10 minutes while he ate his lunch. Then he cut my hair in less than 2 minutes. And it looked like it.

This is a classic old school barber shop. Ive had my hair cut by both Mike and Jeff and they both do a great job. Mike uses a very loud flowbie type thing, which surprised me the first time, but he gets the job done right every time. Been going there exclusively for 3 years now.

Wish they were closer to me so I could visit more often. Note that it’s cash only, so come prepared.

Jeff has 3 chairs, but only 1 other barber. AND Jeff works by appointment only. Many times there is a 20-45 minute wait while Jeff will wait for his late appointments. Cash only and no Saturdays.Jeff will close for vacation anytime without notice or explaination on door or phone message.Nice guy, but he doesnt know how to run a business. Not customer convenient.
