I am super grateful for the customer service, especially Dominic. He or someone else always answers the phone during business hours. I have lived many places and there is so much involved in the process that it can be detrimental not to get questions answered quickly over the phone. Unfortunately its common not to be able to reach someone easily. You wont have that problem here!

Called to gather some details before my son, who is a student at UVM, completed his application. Dominic patiently walked me through everything I needed to know. I cant speak to living there, but I was so pleased with this first impression!

I miss this apartment. All rules are laid out extremely clearly by management--everything from parking stickers, to submitting fix-its, to any other complaints. If you read the rules and follow them, there will be absolutely no issues. Perhaps those leaving poor reviews either cant read, or choose not to.Either way, my girlfriend and I lived here during our Senior year at UVM, and Rich made sure our experience here was comfortable and accommodating. From central air, to a nice kitchen, to Burlington Telecom high speed internet, all on top of an amazing view and close proximity to campus buses, its truly the perfect place to live for a UVM student. While the initial price is steep, remember that utilities (minus electricity and a cheap internet fee) are included, which cannot be said for most places downtown that are poorly insulated and therefore require an outlandish heating cost. While desks are provided at The Lofts, Id recommend a trip to Ikea to help maximize comfort and space (as shown by my workstation, pictured below). The fitness center is great when the UVM gym is closed, and playing pool, foosball and ping pong late at night are also solid perks.

Truly the best place I could have stayed for my last two years of college. The staff was all very nice and approachable. You are able to file repair requests and they usually get it done promptly. Rooms are spacious and come furnished which was really nice as a college student. Having rent be paid by room assures that each person is held responsible for their own part of rent. Having a gym, study area, and game area in the building was also really helpful. It can be a little expensive, but everything you get for that price makes it well worth it.

Living at the Lofts the last year has been a fun experience! The package system was great, and the amenities included were also good. Electricity bill wasnt too pricey. The rooms are huge, and come fully furnished, which made moving in and out a lot easier. Overall a good place to live.

As a Junior, living at the Redstone Lofts was super convenient! It was great being located close to classes, but also not too far from downtown. The rooms were very spacious (transitioning from living in the dorms) and I enjoyed having a full bed. There is a fitness center in the building which I loved having access to. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend it for UVM juniors and seniors!

Overall a pretty nice place to stay, but I wish the furniture was better quality. Super easy to get things fixed if they broke by submitting a fix-it, but honestly way too expensive to rent there. You can find a better place downtown for much cheaper.

Beautiful interior with great flooring, as well as extremely comfortable living space and beds. A dishwasher was also a great added bonus, as well as washer and dryer in the Loft itself. Only real downfalls were that the walls are extremely thin, so even if someone is speaking at a moderate tone in one room, its likely that youll be able to hear most of what is being said from the common room or a neighboring bedroom. Still, the positives far outweigh the negatives.

The Redstone Lofts UVM was the perfect solution for my housing needs. It is basically right on campus, but it has the independent feel of being off campus. It was great not having to buy furniture, as it is fully furnished with reasonably nice furniture and appliances. The price seems a tad bit excessive, but it is incredibly difficult to find a price that could compare with the amenities available to those who live in the Lofts. A few extra visitor spaces in the parking lot would be really nice as well.

I cant say enough great things about living in the lofts. The individual leading is prime because you dont have to worry about your roommates coming up with their share of the rent. Everything is included but electric and it is completely furnished so you also dont have to worry about writing out checks every month for various utilities. The lofts are also in a great location right on campus with the bus stop right out the front door. You wont regret living in the lofts.

Its great that the Lofts are fully furnished and includes a gym! Utilities have been pretty low, too which is an extra bonus. The visitor parking isnt the greatest. My friends and family should be able to visit without the fear of being towed. Otherwise, the Lofts are nice.

The lofts are conveniently located on Redstone campus and are only fifteen minute walk from campus, but if I dont want to walk the Redstone express shuttle stops at the building every ten minutes. The apartments come fully furnished was a plus side that my roommates and I loved seeing as that we were graduating and did not want to invest in any furniture. I also love being able to do laundry when ever I want since it is conveniently located right next to my room in our apartment. Its a little expensive but worth the investment!

This is my first full year at UVM, and at the Redstone Lofts. Ive found that living at the Redstone Lofts has enabled me to actively participate in many campus activities, but also have the off-campus feel. I have been able to meet other upperclassmen through my living situation, and think the in-house gym holds a lot of appeal. I love how modern the building looks, and that each person who lives at the lofts has a view of the sunrise or sunset.

Spacious, well lit, and with a great view of the mountains, I loved living in the lofts this past year. Being on campus is convenient but I never felt like I was in a dorm. Our kitchen sink sucks, and its sometimes a little loud but I never really minded. The view makes up for basically everything anyway.

My roommates and I loved living at the lofts this year and ended up deciding to live here next year as well. The location is so convenient to get to class which was important to me and the view from our room is beautiful. Would recommend any junior or senior at UVM to seriously consider the lofts as an option.

The apartments are fully furnished with very comfortable and modern furniture. Washer and drier are right in the apartment, so I can live the life of luxury. Also, the front desk is always helpful and willing to answer any questions regarding the Lofts. Views are amazing from the apartment. I have nothing to complain about.

I very much enjoyed my time at the Lofts. I lived in the South building for two years in a two bedroom apartment with my roommate. The convenience of the Lofts is second to none. I really enjoyed the amenities, including the fitness center and the Lantern. The Lofts are a great alternative to downtown student housing, which is notoriously known for being in disrepair. I also appreciated how quickly any issues within the apartment were dealt with (e.g., squeaking doors, loud washer/dryer, etc.). Overall, the Lofts are a great place to live for upperclassmen who want to live close to campus, have access to amenities, and prefer a quieter but still social living environment.

I lived at the lofts for 2 glorious years between 2014-2016. The primary reason the lofts were a welcoming sanctuary from hectic school life was the property manager Richard McClain. McClain was always helpful, enthusiastic, and understanding of student life. Whats more is that he took the time to know his residents personally and always had his door open. Having graduated and moved on into the real world of apartment hunting, I can honestly say McClain is the gold standard by which all other landlords fall short. I have heard recently he is moving on, and I just wanted to pass on a final farewell and good luck in your next job! The lofts will not be the same without you.

Pros: Newer building, right on campus, AC/washer in units, solid appliances, clean and well managed. Noise has never been an issue from neighbors.Cons: Expensive, Wifi drops once or twice a week, even number rooms face the field which gets loud during games and massive floodlights every night till 11:00. Also, if you get a USPS package that doesnt fit in the mail locker you need to go downtown and pick it up, which can be frustrating.

The location is convenient for being on the CATS bus line but is far from grocery stores and downtown scene. The furniture in the bedrooms are nice, but the common area furniture is sterile and is hard to feel homey. It is a good deal if you are looking to save some money in a double occupancy 4 person room, but otherwise it is a more expensive option than living off campus downtown(renting furniture versus owning it and being able to sell it to someone else). Free cable is not really used because of Netflix, not worth the perk and the internet is often too slow.Is a good option if you want to be close to the gym and not have to walk up the hill to go to classes without the stress of living in a house downtown. Laundry in unit is extremely helpful and convenient.

This is the worst managed building in Vermont. It is run like a slum, with staff that is never available. If its after 5pm or a weekend, it is impossible to contact anyone with a problem. They have an answering service that knows nothing of the building and is useless as they are not allowed to contact anyone on your behalf. They just tell you when the office hours are.Their parking policies are ridiculous with no guest passes available to pick up on weekends and there are no visitor parking spots. You have to get a parking pass during business hours and if you dont have one, you will get towed. The parking lot was dangerous in the winter as they barely plow. They leave snow in between the cars and do not plow spaces. Over 10 spots were covered for 2 plus months as they do not pay for the lot to be maintained or plowed regularly. The sideewalks are NOT Shoveled and often icy and dangerous.I was working during move out and i got home 3 hours after when my lease was up (3pm) to find many of my belongings had been stolen by maintenance staff. I was almost all the way moved out, but was going to move the last of my stuff after work at 3pm, but the staff went in and picked what they liked including food from my fridge and some of my clothes, and speakers from my bathroom. The police are helping me recover. The building is nice enough, but the management is an disgrace.DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The arhitecht deserves an award or something (beyond the one they already one won for this building) because I swear they thouhgt of everything. When our neighbors get turnt, we cant hear em. The finishes are all quality and well done. All the game tables, speaker systems, and workout equiptment are top notch. Really really fine placce.
