The entire Geek Squad staff provided exemplary service beginning with the scheduling of the initial appointment, diagnostic to identify the cause of the computer problem. the theoretical knowledge and practical skill of the technician who effected the repairs and the customer associate who exhibited the utmost in professional concern in overseeing the entire process from start to finish. I would without reservation recommend the Geek Squad team at Best Buy Empire Center Burbank and their home office 24/7 support team to anyone in need of service for their computer and guidance in technical matters related to this.
Worked with Geek Squad consultants Jose and Hunter. Was impressed with how thorough and efficient they were. Hunter Heath was very technical and was able to answer questions way beyond the traditional scope. Despite all the negative reviews online about the Geek Squad, so far I was very impressed with the way the Burbank precinct is run.
Terrible service. Workers have no idea fixing Apple accessories. All Best Buy are supposedly authorized by Apple, but dont waste time going to this place or all Geek squad, instead visit directly Genius Bar who are experts in Apple. I was more than 4 hours with my iphone and apple watch and they dont have clue and didnt say nothing... I waste 4 hours😤. I had to go to Genius Bar next day and they fix everything less than 30 min.
Will not even look at the device unless you agree to their service and pay for whatever they say the problem is once its behind closed doors. Use a real repair shop, I dont know why I expected any better of the squad. Friendly guy at the counter though.
They hooked me up with India and now my PC doesnt work. Seems like a scam, no replies at all
I purchased my lap top nearly two years ago, with the warranty. When I have technical issues, I have a computer guy who comes over and corrects the problem for $125. He was not available, took it to the Burbank Best Buy, Monday morning, no line. I was prepared to leave it. Fixed the problem right there. I was out the door with everything corrected and the warranty paid for itself today. Thanks.
Very bad experience.I took my notebook to have a broken hinge repaired. The associate told me that I had to pay to replace the complete housing. They do not do this service in house and they had to ship my notebook somewhere in the US and I paid for the shippment. 3 weeks later I got my computer with a old used housing. Several scratches and software issues. No problem, they kind of fixed the software issue but I would have to reinstall all the programs. I said I would because after a second inspection I noticed damage on the screen and broken housing. GS sent back my notebook to their repair center but at this time took even longer to receive it back. When I went to the store to pick up the notebook, the GS associate told me they did have a cable to check my computer but everything was fine. When I got home, I noticed issues with the screen. New housing but a DEFECTIVE screen. I went back to the store right away but the associate asked me to come back the following day to talk to THANASI, (the manager). I asked him to schedule an appointment and he said in my case no appointment was needed. Good, I showed up the following day, waited for two other clients ahead of me until I was able to talk to the manager. His solution was to give me a discount to buy a new computer or send again to be repaired and wait God knows for how long. Anyway I took the second option, that when he drove me crazy. He said because I did not have an appointment, I had to come back another time. I told him I tried to schedule and his associate said no, also told him I was waiting in line and he still said the best option for me was to wait another 45 minutes to 1 hour. Crazy.. He was the one helping me already and saw the issue with the notebook and now I had to wait? I was waiting for weeks already... I felt that so desrepecful and I got upset, I took my computer and walked out of the store not to go back again. Not even to shop at that Best Buy. I hope another geek squad store solve my issue since they created that, also I pay yearly plan with them. If not, I will have to report the situation to the Better Business Bureau or even go to court. To make the story short . I am without my computer for almost 2 month now, I am wasting money because I can not use my computer to take the classes I pay weekly, Not to count that I have to go to Geek Squad aprox 8 times and now I am at home with a useless computer. Thank to this guys in Burbank.
These guys charged me insurance for a cellphone i returned over 14 moths ago. When i called they kept transfering me from one phone operator to another. They kept sayying their supervisor was very busy and i told them i would wait and thry kept me on hold for about an hour. Aftet the supervisor answered my call he said oh i can help you and he said ill transfer you and i told him dont transfer me to best buy they have nothing to do with your charges and rich the supervisor said dont worry im transfering you to billing department. Then after being tranfered i realized he transfered me to best buy. (Got transfered to best buy 3 times) they will avoid you as much as possible
