This is one of the best Mac repair shops in LA. They helped me remove an old hard drive from a failed Mac and encase it in an enclosure for a very reasonable price. I was going to ditch the laptop to recycling with the shop but they recommended I could sell it for parts instead - when they could’ve tried to do so but did not. The next computer I brought in was a 27-inch iMac they were able to diagnose the problem and even helped carry it and load it into my car! This shop goes above and beyond to help you which when your computer is failing is invaluable!

I used to go to NWM when it was in Echo Park. They moved just before the pandemic to Burbank. Best service ever. Andy is an honest guy and always goes the extra mile to get the job done. Highly recommend...worth the drive!

Andy helped me in my dark hour of need. My computer was running like molasses, and programs weren’t responding. Apple was trying to get me to cave and buy a new laptop. Great place. Replaced the battery for my mac book in two hours (the Apple store quoted 2+ weeks!) and also cleaned the inside of my computer and changed out a couple worn out keys, the latter two services being things I didnt even ask for. I brought Andy my MacBook Pro late 2015 retina around 1 I was distraught. I spilled a decent amount of water in the computer the night before. He told me that he would take a look at it and call me in an hour or so. He recommended taking it apart and cleaning it and if that didn’t work he wouldn’t charge me and we could look at other options. Long story short my MacBook fixed it’s like new. The cleaning worked and he installed a new trackpad and actually showed me why mine needed replacement. Great guy I strongly recommended instead of taking it apart yourself and having to bring it in pieces. I want to add that I got my computer back that same day about 6 hours later. Andy is the man.

Andy was honest, fast and fair with his pricing. I had tried a few places around LA for a failed logic board and the quotes were so disparate I felt none of them were accurate. Andy showed me how to order the board myself to ensure a and good price then installed it for a reasonable hourly rate. Terrific service. Andy is hugely helpful and knowledgeable. I came in panicked, thinking I’d short circuited my trackpad and keyboard when attempting a home install of a new Hard Drive in my MacBook Pro. He was patient but quick and showed me the connection I’d accidentally knocked loose. He didn’t charge me for his time or advice. He also cleaned out my embarrassingly messy machine with compressed air and brought my batteries’ swelling to my attention. I came back the next day looking to borrow his screwdriver to open the back of my Mac up again and he made no fuss but was instead genuinely helpful and concerned about me getting the correct part I needed, knowing the kerfuffle I’d been through. I feel bad I wasn’t able to bring him paid business in the process, as he does great work. But will definitely look to him in future over the Apple Store for part replacements or servicing for my Mac. Highly recommend. What a great dude!

Repaired my computer promptly and at a reasonable price. In constant communication with me regarding the status of my computer, first attempts at cheaper cleaning options and part status. Personable as well. I am very happy with services all around. Trust this place. 2020 update. My dad was having issues with his MAC. It was very old and wouldn’t start. He really only uses it for email, online banking, and storing pictures. With his very basic use and a power surge as the incident leading up to the failure he went to New World Mac. After finding out my dad uses a desktop computer for what we could all do on a smart phone he replaced the damage part for way less than a smartphone or a new computer. Also the location has moved from Echo Parc to Burbank but still has the amazing Andy running it.

I’ve always thought that once something went critically wrong with a computer that the repair is almost never worth it, and that I would have to buy a new computer.However, when I took my MacBook Air here Andy identified a simple problem and had me fixed and out the door for less than $50 within half-an-hour. Fantastic service. Very friendly and and efficient. My MacBook got water damage on vacation and Andy was extremely quick to encounter and fix the issues and I had my laptop back within a day. Granted problems were not as bad as expected but the service was still excellent.
