I feel this store is a better choice than going too an Apple store in a mall somewhere. Melrose MAC specializes in Apple computers and have a few I pads and accessories. Theyre nice, Knowledgeable and rarely growed..I just left my grandsons Mac Book Pro for key pad repairs.. he can hardly wait to hwy it back k..

In February of 2021, my 2012 MacPro stopped working completely, and I feared that I had lost all of my data. The people at Melrose Mac in Burbank were able to repair my computer AND recover all of my data. I highly recommend their services! A++++!!!!!!!

It’s the third time we brought a computer in but this time they charged me an etra $125 without me knowing. They said they communicated this charge with me but I know that I didn’t hear about it until it was time to pay. What a rip off!

Great service despite being handicapped by the covid virus. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I recommend Melrose Mac in Burbank over the Apple phone help and Apple store in Sherman Oaks! These guys and gals are fantastic, they know their stuff.

My Mac book pro was not turning on so I took it to get fixed they told me that the screen was the problem and payed $890 and because of COVID I didn’t use it but a sometime later I turn it on and it does not work. When I took it back they said the logix board and they said it’s not there fault even though the Mac book was working fine and they just said the screen was the problem. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO THIS LOCATION FOR ANY REPAIRS AS THERE TECHNICIANS CANT DO THERE JOBS OBVIOUSLY.

Update to my previous review: (complaint process and getting a refund.)Making a complaint:After been yelled by the manager, I called back and asked to speak with corporate; Ive been told that to send an email, I said I need to make a complaint and want to talk to someone, after having me on hold for about 10 min they told to contact Michel, she is the HR manager,but her office is in Melrose branch in LA, and they gave me the phone number for that location.I called, and they told me that her office is in Burbank, and they dont understand why Burbank is sending me here.So they are paying with me.Getting a refund:Ive been told Ill get the full refund to my card $2738.08 (for a product Ive been waiting for 60 days and never received).Three days after, I received an email saying they have issued a $198.43 refund.I called to check what about the rest, Again having me on hold and then saying: I cannot help you, give us your # and Michel will call you back.I will keep you guys update when I hear back.

I made an appointment for this afternoon to have my keyboard inspected because one of my keys stopped working. When I scheduled the appointment I specifically stated that it was a hardware issue and that my keyboard wasn’t working. When I got to store the man told me I needed to replace the keyboard and it would take 3-4 business days to replace. Which I understand but is unfortunately just not an option as I need my laptop for work. I asked if there was another option. He said I would need to return Monday for it to be inspected because there was no one there to do so.What is the point of making an appointment for a hardware/keyboard issue if there is no one there who can inspect it? Then why accept the appointment?Just a waste of time.

This company scammed me out of $150.00 June 2019 my Mac Book Airwouldnt turn on being that I could not get an appointment with Apple I took my Mac to MelroseMac $50.00 for diagnostic to have it done same day an extra $100.00 bucks I paid it by the end of the day I was advised the logic board was out didnt want to pay the $500.00 to fix it so I just bought another one. I was gone for 6 months when I arrived back home intuition told me to plug in the old Mac low and behold it works I took it to the APPLE store all diagnostic show GREEN full power no issues never was an issue I would stay clear if this so called authorized dealer RIP OFF

Ive gone here for minor computer repairs twice. Most recently for my Macbook Pro with a sticky keyboard. Staff was helpful, prompt, and considerate. I was anxious to get my machine back as quickly as possible and they were nice enough to update me every day so I knew exactly what was going on with the parts & repair process. Extremely happy with the service Ive gotten here.

I have no computer skills and have been a Mac girl all my life. The reps here are the MOST HELPFUL when it comes to either figuring out whats not working or helping you upgrade to the next system when necessary. They do it all and make it possible for me to manage my business even with little computer skills or knowledge and they always take time to explain. 👍❤️👍❤️👍

Sam is great. A few years ago he helped me buy a new Mac Book and set things up on my home network. He also set up a wireless network at my office, which is a group of small suites that previously had DSL for only one of the rooms. And now that Im thinking about it, he also helped me set up Google Apps for Domains. I would definitely call him again for any computer or network needs.

The best place to go for assistance, maintenance and repair for Apple products in Los Angeles! I have now brought four of my Apple computers there to get additional RAM installed. Mark is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and every single one of my computers is running noticeably better because of his expert help! Because of their knowledge you’re able to get a clear picture of the entire scene and then make the best choices.

You really shouldnt be mistreated because you are not familiar with technical terms. I needed assistance understanding what my device needed to function properly. Instead I received roll of the eyes and ill treatment. I am a local and it makes me sad that I cannot recommend this place of business. There is no need to treat others poorly because you have more knowledge of technical terms and feel more intellectually superior. This employee lacked diplomacy and humility.

My 2011 MacBook Pro completely died. I couldnt even open it in Safe Mode, but desperately needed files off my hard drive.For $75 Melrose Mac saved my butt. They even let me bring in my own external hard drive for the backup.They finished before the promised time as well.When my next overpriced, piece-of-junk, Chinese-assembled MBP breaks down, I will definitely bring it here.

This place is awesome guys. You have to call them first and make sure they got the part. I got my computer upgraded in less than 10 mins. Only thing the employees make you feel award. But other than that I love the store, its super clean and they are somewhat friendly. I like how they work on your computer!

Unquestionably the finest place to buy anything Apple or anything Post Production and particularly drive array stuff. Was in a nasty pickle on a TV show and their ninjas came to our offices in the late evening and fixed our SAN. Lovely people to boot.

I came in for a replacement for my iPhone battery. I made the appointment through Apple. I was informed when I arrived that they could not to the repair due to lack of inventory of betteries.It was very clear they knew this would be the case, as they said they wont have batteries until March. They should have contacted me before I wasted my time coming in.They then advised me to go to an unauthorized repair shop nearby, handing me an advert for them. This is unacceptable.

Absolutely horrible! I had a registered appointment to fix my broken screen. They said there is a 10% chance my data could be wiped. Convinced me to buy the icloud back up. Said the backup would take 20 minutes and rhe phone would be ready within two hours. 2.5 hours later, I come back and the phone is still backing up with no updates from them. Thanks for wasting my entire afternoon!!!! Never go there..::

I just had the worst experience with the so called manager Stason. He was very rude to me and hung up on me instead of trying to answer my Question. I then called back and got the number for the General Store manager named Brandon who could care less about what his Assistant manager did. I will never take my computers to Melrose Mac again. Went to see how much a new battery would cost for my MacBook Pro 2015 and it was almost $500. I asked what the price was compared to getting done at the actual Apple store and the employee said it’s 20 dollars extra with them. Since I was not willing to give up $500 on the spot I check with Apple and it ended up being $199 with tax. DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE! They will scam you to pay way more than you have to. It’s worth waiting to get an appointment with Apple than spend double the money!

I expected way better customer service and professionalism from these people.Took my (working) Iphone 5 here to get the battery replaced under Apple warranty. They said they had to order the battery. They never called me back to tell me the battery was in. After a week or so not hearing back, I finally called them to ask what was taking so long and it took forever for them to confirm whether the new battery had arrived. I then took the (working) phone in, they changed the battery, gave it back to me and it froze, wouldnt power down, buttons wouldnt work, totally jammed (NOT WORKING). I turned right around, went back in the store and the technician said there were other things wrong, this button and that, etc. Sounds like the technician screwed up my iphone and is covering his tracks. They gave me a loaner phone while my phone was apparently being sent to Apple and it should only take a day or two. I never heard back from them again, days later I called them to see what is taking so long and they told me I had to turn off find my iphone settings online. They never called me to tell me this. I asked them why and could not give me a reason. I am still waiting to hear from them again. I am really regretting taking this device to Melrose Mac Burbank. I expected way better customer service and professionalism from these people.

I went into Melrose Mac about a year ago. I purchased some peripherals for my mac. The items were less than a than dollars. I tried to use the item for the given job on my FCP system and the software hardware combination wouldnt work for my client. I tried for hours to output the job using my set-up hooked to a Sony HDW HD deck and ended up renting the needed gear. Upon returning the items to Melrose Mac, they immediately told me a 15% restock fee. I asked if they wouldnt charge me 15% for the restock fee but they said it was open box and that was there policy. I agreed to the charge and returned the item. I basically signed a duplicate invoice saying that the item was returned. Anyhow, the item was returned and the amount was never credited back to my credit card. I went back and forth with the merchant and AMEX but it was obvious that i was not going to get refunded. In my opinion I think it was very unscrupulous for Melrose Mac to say the item was not returned when i set it on the counter. And further distubing that AMEX took sides with the merchant. The item was returned within 7 days and they stiffed me for a $600+. It is a pittance of money, but if they treat their customers this way I would recommend that you shop elsewhere. DV411, ProMax, the Apple Store and B&H Photo Video in NY. All will be very close in price and will provide you with better service.
