I’ve been going to gel nails for many years, never disappointed! I used to always get gel polish, this time I did acrylics with some nail art… A gentleman did my nails this time, very professional very clean very thorough… I am obsessed with my new nails! I wish I caught his name, but everyone I have ever had do my nails there has always done a great job. Definitely recommend! Very very happy!

Just moved to Valley City and a few friends suggested Gel nails and spa! Well can I just say wow! Nails are on point and Im obsessed to say the least! They did more then capture my vision! Excited to have found a great place near mt new home 🏡 Cheers to 2021!

I hate to leave a bad review for any small business but I’m all about cleanliness.I noticed that the Emory board that was being used was not new and that made me wonder how clean the other tools were. After my service the tech put all the tools in a basket and I thought oh good she’s going to clean them but to my surprise she just moved them to the next station to use on the next client.My nails look great, but I won’t be going back.Very disappointed.

This place has gone completely downhill. I am a longtime customer and I will definitely be finding a new salon. They no longer take same day appointments and their time management and communication is awful.

We’re from Florida and was just visiting Ohio. I didn’t know the area so I just looked up a salon near by. Gel nail and Spa came up so we decided to give it a try. My wife loved how her nails look and I enjoyed the pedicure very much. Lizzie gave the best massage ever! The owner and nail techs are so friendly. Especially Lizzie! She made our visit very welcoming. I highly recommend this place.

I got a full set of acrylics, the lady was very yanky and rough with my hands. I first wanted a chrome color that she told me they “didn’t have.” once i chose another color she told me that ones better and that they don’t do the first type of chrome i picked because it’s powder and it chips. first i was told that they didn’t have it, then later on she told me she doesn’t do it. i understand it may chip but you shouldn’t deny that and lie to me about it i’m paying for it. when she laid my acrylic down she brought the brush all around my nail on my skin and the liquid dried hard onto my skin. She didn’t have me wash my hands after she shaped the acrylic she went straight into painting them. She accidentally had put a dark color on the nail that was supposed to have a light silver, and wiped it with her finger and left dark blue all around the silver and it looks tacky. she seemed in a rush. also when i looked after i left, my thumb nails were two completely different lengths, which i guess could have been a mistake on me for not looking and saying something, but it shouldn’t be up to me to check. she’s constantly looking at my nails and could have clearly seen they were uneven. Also, on the phone we were told $45 for a full set with gel nails which is what i got, my total came to $60 before a tip. I’m highly dissatisfied with this place

This was my second visit to this salon. There was no wait on a Saturday. I was greated at the door. I got gel nails again, they held up for 2 weeks with no peeling/lifting and very minimal chipping on one nail.

Always clean and very professional, Ive been going here for years and its always a great atmosphere! Quality work, staff is always courteous. Zero complaints, and pretty sure Ive had every service done they offer 🤗

Amazing!!! I’ve been to a lot of nail salons in the Brunswick/Strongsville area, and this was my favorite so far. Good price for great nails! I had the nail tech Sam do my full acrylic set with gel polish and he did a stunning job and really took his time to make sure they were perfect for me. Clean and pretty inside and good music. My only issue was that I waited a long time as a walk in (45 min), so I’d suggest making an appointment.

Went in for a fill.ended up with infected finger.60 dollars later and an antibiotic. Will never go back here.

Had a great experience a couple weeks ago and Lam did an amazing job doing my pedicure! Great customer service and easy to talk to I recommend anybody to go there!

My mom was in the other side of me, and doing the same color as me and she wanted my nails a little bit thinner. The lady doing my nails was talking behind my moms back and saying “ you’re mom acts like I don’t know how to do nails. I’ve been doing nails for 20 years, I know what I’m doing.” Just extremely rude that she has the nerve to do that. They didn’t listen to what I said. She was rough with my hands torwards the end just because my mom said said something. NEVER GO HERE

Today was my first time at this shop & I just want to say how BEAUTIFUL (&clean!!) & professional everything and everyone was! Sam was amazing and so accommodating. Not only did he fix 2 nails from prev. salons he also gave me a gorgeous gel, french tip, acrylic manicure. I will forever be a loyal client of his, he was very gentle and patient (as i can be picky sometimes). I cant wait for these next 3 weeks to fly by for another awesome fill!

I LOVE GETTING MY NAILS DONE HERE! Came back here yesterday for a ultimate manicure and they did an amazing job. Everything from the soothing decor, the new tools, the floors - is clean, neat and orderly. And Oh yeah...my nails look good! In summary, I am a life time client :)

The guy that did my daughters nails was very rude to her and rough handling her hands and fingers. Telling her she has them in the wrong place. He also charged her more than what we were originally told. It’s a busy time everyone’s going to be graduating this weekend he should be more understanding and relaxed and have some patience. I don’t believe will go back there

This is the only place I go (every two weeks) for my pedicure and fill. They do a much better job that the other area salons and prices are comparable with several different packages depending on what you want done. Staff is friendly and efficient. I’m always immediately greeted when I first walk in and I do call ahead so I avoid any wait for a free nail tech. But most importantly they clean and sanitize equipment which to me is more important than how fast my nails get done-the places that go super fast cut corners and typically do a lousy job-not this place!! If you haven’t tried them I suggest you do!

I did love this place but my last experience was horrible. The man is awesome he’s so sweet & always does an amazing job! But last time a middle aged women did my nails & it took almost 2 hours for a fill. Didn’t listen to anything i said. All my nails were different lengths & when i would ask her to fix something she just made it worse. I went to royal nails in Brunswick the next day & they fixed me up so well!

I have never been so put off by a salon in all my years of getting my nails done. I want to begin by saying I have been a loyal customer to Lam for awhile now. Ive always made appointments to see her and loved the way she did my nails. Fast forward to now. Very unprofessional more so the owner Penny who sits in the front to the left. She never greets anyone that isnt her client and walks around with her nose in the air so off putting and pretty pathetic as a business owner. As of today I will NEVER STEP FOOT in their establishment since I called to schedule an appt and was told they were short staffed and could do walk ins only so here Im thinking ok Ill leave work and go there. Get there at 440 and mind you theres 3 different techs INCLUDING THE OWNER PENNY WHO SAT IN A CHAIR HIDING because( again shes very off putting if your not her client) 1 customer in the whole place and was told I could wait an hour i asked well what about you 3 well we dont do fills just excuses. I shouldve known better or what kind of people they are since the ENTIRE STAFF talks about each other calling each other stupid etc again unprofessional. So save your money people this place is a joke.

Went here today for the first time, around 4:20 pm. Very pleased with my first visit here for a mani/pedi. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating. They did such a good job with my acrylics. They have many positive aspects of their shop. Results were PERFECT! Ill definitely be back the next time I want to treat myself.

The nail tech rushed, said i needed a manicure but never touched my cuticles. The shape of my nails are uneven and different lengths. Asked for white polish and the one they used must have been old because it started peeling the 3rd day. Left the salon with polish on my skin in multiple places. Don’t waste your money here

This was my first time coming to this place and it was just awful. I called before coming in asking how much a full set of acrylics would be they told me $30, I even double checked when I walked into the shop and the worker said the same thing $30. So after a hour and a half wait I started getting my nails done the man doing my nails was so rough and rushed them. The nails were very uneven and not the same length. After getting my nails done I went up to pay thinking it was going to be $30 like they told me twice, it ended up being $50. I didn’t say anything and just paid but the work that was done on my nails was not worth $50. Never going back there again

This was THE worst experience Ive ever had at a nail salon. I made the mistake of coming back, after the first awful experience, which resulted in polish all over my toes. This time I was in so much pain when she was JUST removing the polish on my toes that I ended up asking to finish myself. When she filed my nails, she made them so short every fingertip was (and still is) raw. My gel shellac was uneven, it ended over my finger tips, full of bumps and her finger imprint on my thumb. When I asked to just have a discount, the owner yelled at me. I was late for dinner plans at this point (because on top of being awful, she was slow) and just wanted to leave. The owner would not allow me. The nail tech made rude comments to me. And this was not the first time I watched this interaction go down. Next time Ill stay home and let the 7 year old do my nails.

Didnt get to have anything done, and glad I didnt. Im not sure which was more of a turn off, the poorly sanitized utensils or the attitude of the manager who was working. I would not recommend this salon to anyone, and warn them to educate themselves on proper sanitization of nail equipment for their own safety!!

Warning about this place! Their work may be okay, just okay. But they do things their own ways, not by the regulations. They do not clean any of the products which will run the chance of you catching fungus. If their employees seem a little off, it may be because they wont give them a lunch break. Yes I know a now former employee. If they cant even pay someone to stay there how can they make people pay to come?

I first stopped into Nails and Polish several years ago when they were brand new (it was a few days after their grand opening). There was a sign up that said they did not allow tips on credit cards. I questioned this as that was my intended payment method and I had zero cash on me. They would not make an exception, so I left. That left a bad taste in my mouthForward to today. As I normally go to Salon Evangelene to get my nails done (theyre AWESOME), but couldnt get in there today, I decided to give this place another try. Im quite sorry I did. I signed in at 6, waited patiently for 30 minutes and another woman came in. One of the techs greeted her and asked her what service shed like. The woman responded and the tech said there would be a wait. When the woman asked how long, the tech said they were done taking appointments for the night. The woman stood there partly confused and asked if she was being turned away and the tech said yes. It was the rudest treatment of a potential customer I have seen in a while. I was very embarrassed for the woman, and so off-put that I left. If thats the way you treat a new/potential customer you wont get my money. Btw, there were no signs that advised what time their last appointment is. This was a judgement call by the tech, and a poor one at that. On a side note, they really could do with some exhaust fans in there. Ive been getting my nails done for years, but its like a chemical bomb walking in there.

WORST NAIL PLACE EVER

Called ahead walked all the way there for a fill, said its $5 extra for a plain French manicure. Saod really, thwm she sais simce my nails gre so much i would need a whole mew set! NEVER EVER heard of such a thing!!!! So glad I called ahead before I walked up there! Too close to closing time
