An honest review: went in there on September 17, 2021 to get my nails and a pedi, the guy was very friendly however he did not do the nail shape I asked, the nails ended up very crooked, it was actually very painful 😓 I kept pulling my hand away as he was filing the nails he would actually file my finger as well. The nail color he said he would do the same on hands and feet, not the case… on my hands its more of a blush and on my toes its more of a bubblegum baby pink… which for me personally is slightly annoying… All in all he was very polite and friendly and I’m not one to normally, I did politely bring up to his attention that the shape of the nail I wanted was not as pointy, it was more square-ish, seeing that he wasn’t getting what I was asking I just smiled and let him carry on as there was no point in trying… I walked out paying $95 plus a $10 tip, with poor quality, crooked, mis-shaped, mismatched colored nails and I tried to see the positive side… if you don’t look too close they are ok, at least my nails are done and in 3 weeks I can go somewhere else to get them fixed… well nope… not 3 weeks… its had not even been 3 days and they were already loosening up… today is day 5 and I don’t think 2 of them are going to make it through today… so at this time I do not recommend this place because quality is very poor, work is overpriced for what you receive, and staff needs to be better trained. Hopefully they fix these things.

If you need express nails the lady does them in 20 minutes, however the quality is terrible. If you want well done nails do not come here. 50$ for acrylics, expensive and bad. The ambiance is not nice as well, very full and very loud as well as disorganized

Person doing pedicure. My feet were still rough. Person doing nails. Looks like i started doing them badly at home. Person doing wax on legs. I have patches of hair, blotches of wax,red spots, wax on the bottom on my foot and my shorts and i had to remind them they forgot the whole back of my thigh. I was extremely disappointed especially because i dont go to salons and havent been in OVER 6 years, please DO zoom in to the pics as they look worse in person. I was so embarrassed walking into the grocery store and out to the mall afterwards. I ran to get wax to finish it myself. As if all that wasnt enough,i then noticed some of the nails lifted up significantly. Just.wow.

I wish I could give no stars. I should have read the reviews. I will never be back thats for sure. I went there with my daughter. This was our first time. We were at the mall and decided to try here since we were shopping. Worst decision. Fancy Nails in Tampa does a real Volcanoe Pedicure and only charges $50. Thats why they get a $20 tip. I dont feel any better at all and they didnt even get my ingrown. Stay away because it is a waste of money.

They do okay but most of the staff has very POOR customer service. This place does not have their prices listed somewhere so the price is never the same. Which is annoying. I went and got a pedicure and didnt get what I wanted and was still charged for it. Later to find out I was charged TWICE and they refused a refund. They dont clean the area after each person even after pedicures and Im sure instruments arent cleaned after each person either. I will never come back here and would never recommend to anyone. If I could give no stars I would. Never again.

Upon reading these reviews, Im pretty surprised. Ive been going here for years and they have been quick, friendly and my nails and pedicure last long.

Got my nails done there today but wont be going back the lady cut my finger with one of the tools and some are crooked my ring finger hurts a bunch going back to my salon Monday to get it fixed.

Do not spend your money here.. $25 just for a gel top coat which is a RIP OFF. Horrible spa pedicure .. Only took 5 minutes to do it and the back of my heels are still flaky.

I was getting my car cleaned nearby and decided to stop here to get my nails done while I wait, thinking how bad could it be? Well... it could be bad. Worse nail job Ive ever had. It was obvious they had no idea what they were doing. Just like others have said... they try to constantly upsale you, and they are way too pricey for the work they do.

My first time in this shop. I normally drive to Tampa. But it was convenient in the mall. The worst pedicure. Painful, she made my toe bleed from cutting and pulling what was not there! Rough hands. I asked for a manicure and she didnt tell the nail tech what I wanted. She immediately started drilling my natural nails for acrylics!!! The worst french manicure I have had in a long time. I will not get another one there. I gave it 2 stars only because of the manicure nail tech was nice.

Horrible place. Staff fighting for customers, a/c didnt work, nails were horrible. I went to get a full set. The lady doing my nails was telling me how I wanted them done. I asked for someone else to do them and thats when the fight started. She started fighting with the employee in charged. Yelling at each other in front of everyone and my kids that were there. It got to the point that my kids got nervous because they were yelling at each other so bad. My pedi was great but my full set was horrible. So bad that I had to go to another nail salon to fix them. Will never step foot in that place again. My nails had no shape and were 2 thick

Wasn’t able to go to my regular salon so I went Into Lee’s ( I went there in highschool) and asked for a full set. Not only did they try to harass me into getting gel, but they overcharged me $45 for horrible and basic nails( they charged me extra for length and shape when they did nothing to the shape and the length was obviously uneven). I demanded they take them off and give me my money back but they refused and told me to come back the next day for them to fix them. Came back and all they did was file the already thin acrylic when all I wanted was another layer of acrylic and then asked me over and over again to upcharge for gel! AGAIN! 3 different people worked on my nails and each one of them did worse than the last. Would NEVER come back here even if it was the last salon on earth!!!! Would give -5 stars if I could. Extremely unprofessional

I went to get a pedicure, full set, and my eyebrows waxed. The pedicure was anything but relaxing. It felt rushed and the tech was rough. They didn’t bother to turn the massage chair on because the nail tech started my nails while I was in the chair for my pedicure so I had to lean to the side to get my nails done. Before the tech started my eyebrows I asked if she does a good job and if she was comfortable doing them and she said yes she has been doing them for 30 years. She butchered them. My eyebrows had grown out since the quarantine, so there was plenty to work with. A complete mess and when I told her I didn’t like them she somewhat acted like she did not understand. It’s really just a place to go last minute if you have no other choice and want a quick job. The nails did turn out good. Not recommended for a relaxing pedi/mani.

My guy didn’t use a filer at all which in result gave them an uneven shape. To add on, they put at LEAST 5 layers of polish which made them super thick. I was pressured to get gel multiple times and the price is NOT worth what I ended up with

The whole experience wasn’t pleasant. Me and a friend went here to get a manicures and pedicures and my nails look horrible, they’re uneven and I asked for matte And they barely bothered to try. Although The pedicure turned out decent it felt very rushed. I definitely won’t be going back

Awful. I went in to a mani pedi and to take my acrylic off. The lady kept trying to convince me to keep the acrylic and was talking in circles and I said no I wanted it off. She took it off and when she did my nails she kept asking me about gel and eventually told me it was going to be gel even though I kept saying no. So after this she then pushes for diamonds, I say no then she pushes for my eyebrows to get waxed, saying “you wax here and here u be beautiful.” I said no then she brought it up again. Annoying af. The worst part is that I paid $65 for the mani pedi and my nails literally chipped hours later. It is the next day and 2 of my nails have literally just peeled off. Horrible quality. Horrible service. My pedicure looks good but that’s it.

Horrible place i had a girl named Sofia she made me bleed. i asked for dip and she did the shape horribly my nails are uneven and look weird and the dip looks chunky im never going there again. this is the first time my nails have looked this horrible. this is the card i received she then continued to tell me to come back she will do my nails from now on. my advice dont go to her maybe it is just this staff member. i have heard nothing but good things about this place but maybe im wrong. i am very disappointed.

Very unclean and unprofessional. Tech did not know what she was doing. No precautions were taken place during this COVID pandemic. Tools were not being sanitized after customers. Not a single barbercide jar in sight. Work was sloppy. Will report to dbpr.

If i could give this place 0 stars i would. Walking in i asked for just a full set no pedi and then after asking more times over i felt like if i didnt say yes theyd keep asking. So i agreed to a pedi, the pedicure was good and nail polish was good. They just assumed i wanted gel when i did not say yes. I wanted a tropical ombré with palm tree on ring finger. They at first said no they couldnt but the other lady said yes she could. The man who did the nails was nice and he seemed so happy with his work i did not want to cause a scene. Half was through they then told me my nails were 70$ so no turning back i guess. Even the nail tech saw my nails and laughed. They forgot the palm tree but honestly at this point i was afraid to even ask them to do more. Added photos.

I spent $80 on their highest package for it to not even look like I got a pedicure! And it doesnt feel like one either!! My feet are rough, no lotion rubbed on them only on the legs, no foot massage, they rush, they dont clip the nails correctly, and they dont clean under the nails..and their chair massage machines suck! Dont waste your time or money, go somewhere else!!!!

The guy who took care of me he kept Using the machine on my own nails regardless of me telling him that I didn’t want that and he’s answer was I know I know and kept pulling my hands to do so. Two of my nails hurt from the filing she did with the rotary tool. I have never had my nails hurt before. I asked for red with one sparkle white nail (showed them to her). She did silver instead of white and then tried to tell me I asked for silver.

As a resort and or attempt to aid in ur quest in getting good nails. I HIGHLY do no recommend this spot. All I have to say is I asked for almond nails and this is what I got. The fact that I could use a nail clipper to clip it off afterwards is undignified.

Go elsewhere I’ve been coming to this location for awhile and they have just been awful the last few visits with being pushy and just not doing a good job. A fellow customer beside me getting a pedicure nicely asked if she could pay more to get her heel scrubbed a little longer and the young male employee was so rude to her and said no I was in disbelief and the fact that the other employees watched him to continue to talk to the customer in a rude in negative manner that way is beyond shocking to me that I refuse to ever go back there. Do not give this place any business.

The owner did my nails recently and they were HORRIBLE and when I went back to get them fixed from someone else she was confrontational (almost argumentative) with me and hovered over the other nail techs shoulder berating me the whole time. I will only go to the girl who fixed them (Gigi) from now on. Another time i was there one of the other owners was being cussed out for doing a bad job from another customer. Guess the lesson should be only let the employees do your nails DO NOT go to the owners for your services.

The lady (presumably the owner as she was concerned with every other employees work but her own) kept trying to upsell me and wouldnt take no for an answer. When she finally quit trying to upsell me, she did a poor job with my nails. She rushed through my acrylic and didnt even shape them properly. My acrylic is uneven and I have couple almond shaped nails, some square. This is the worst experience ever. Please dont waste your money here.

First time we went, it was pleasant. Although we were extremely hesitant because it smells mildewy, We gave it a shot. Sony was extremely professional and courteous!! BUT unfortunately even the manager sucks as much as the tall smelly smoky gross guy that pretends to do nails. I will not give my money away to garbage!

I went to get a full set completed and they RUINED MY NAILS LITERALLY. Mia was using a additional filing machine on my own nails regardless of me telling her that I didn’t want that. Mia is the women I would not recommend! What is very disappointing is the fact I asked for a specific design and showed a picture and ask does your nail shop have clear nails. The staff assured me they did before I chose to sit and wait. However when my turn finally came, they did not have it and told me they could cover it up. In good faith I tried to work with Mia and try it, but then she kept getting up to do other things, like washing her hands 2-3times going in the back for a while, coming back ringing people out for eyebrows and more. I had to wait an additional 15-20min before getting her to start them. Ugh! She finally sat down and started, I said to myself great I’ll make it to my family dinner. But then she stop again after just apply the nail tips with glue and walked away. After 5 min of her in the back go by, I walk to the front to leave. The staff at the front apologized and went to go see what was wrong. The receptionist came back and informed me she had to leave early and realized she would not have time to finish my nails and said the gentleman next to him would finish it. I’m so shocked at the lack of communication. However, I really wanted my nails done for my birthday so I stayed against my gut saying run now. I sat down and as the gentleman started doing my nails. I watched her take another customer and started a full set. I stop and went to the front and had them take of the glued nails off and I left. I felt Very disrespected and Insulted for my time being wasted.SAVE YOUR MONEY DONT BOTHER COMING HERE!

The nail tech was extremely rude. She punctured my nail bed trying to remove a broken nail. Then my nails are uneven and crooked. My nail beds look like its time for a refill and I JUST left an hour ago. She didnt even put the cuticle oil after my gel set. Just rude and disgusting service. I will never go back.Reina was the only good one there. I will be going to Discover Nails now that I know she relocated. Go to her!

If you are looking for a quick job and dont care about your cuticles appearance then by all means have at it. The quality of the work that comes out of this salon is lower level at best! From the second I walked out, my cuticles looked a mess...glopped up dried clear polish flaking all over the place. I had to go home and remove it with a Q-Tip only to discover the acrylics was sloppily applied and already starting to separate from my nail. On the other hand the service was quick...Thats the only good thing I can really say about Lee Nails.

I NEVER write reviews but this was worth taking the time to do. WORST PEDICURE EVER! To start off, it is disgusting in there!! I didnt even want to sit down. If I were by myself I definitely would have turned around, but my friends seem okay with it do to their decent prices. We sit down and I see a moldy, half eaten cracker in between mine and my friends chair! After the pedicure, my lady AND my friends lady didnt clean the tub, nor the equipment. They threw it immediately in these little buckets they each have. Also, when I pay for a pedicure, I pay mainly for the massage. They literally massaged both feet at the same time for FIVE seconds. I understand the prices are amazing, but honestly, pay the extra $10-$15! I spent $35 for a pedicure in which I felt disgusting afterwards and wasnt even decent. On top of all this, they were ALL rude and non of them seemed to have decent people skills. This place needs to be shut down.

It’s a free for all when the owner is gone. No one greets you or tells you how long. I will definitely be finding another place, when the owner is out. If they would tell me how long I could walk a few instead of sitting down being ignored.

The new lady manager is rude and very unprofessional. I did my lip wax and she rushed me so she can finish the other customer. This place does not even deserve one star. Out of all the years that I have done my nails this is the WORST place Ive ever been to. Rushed when doing my nails.. got them crooked and will charge you 60$ for acrylic nails and not to mention manager is so RUDE. Went to this salon a few times last year. The first time I went, I went for a full set. He didnt take off my old nails from the previous salon, and did a clunky nail job. The nails ended up ripping off my nail less than a week later. I went 3 more times and every time a nail would fall off. I stopped going to him and went to Aria Nail Bar last November and my tech there said that the nail job was terrible and after removing my nails, 8 out of my 10 fingernails had nail fungus from the dirty supplies and acrylic. My nails went back to normal nearly 6 MONTHS LATER. Never again!

Lady with the green eyeshadow gave me stank faces throughout the whole time she was doing my nails. She just started cutting my nails without me asking and charged me an extra $5 without telling me and added matte without telling me it costed more money when I told her I only had $25!!!!! Never coming here they rip you off.

One of my nails was lifting and they wanted to take the whole nail off and charge me extra for a new one. I told the nail tech my nails are really thin and its painful to remove them and to just clip the part that was lifted and full over it. She started getting rude with me saying its going to lift in a week and water will make it turn blue, Wich Ive never had happen before. Even after me saying no she goes to get the nail clippers out to clip off the nail! I had to pull my hand away and tell her AGAIN I didnt want it cut off and she goes again telling me how its just going to keep lifting. At this point the owner came over and loudly through the salon said if thats all she wants thats all she gets dont do anything else for her. Then both of them start saying Im an idiot and talking in their language. The owner walks away and she said Ill do just fill for you I wont take it off. Proceeds to do my nails with an attitude doesnt go through and file them down any the nails itself are not smooth they have grooves. Then instead of polishing nicely proceeds to glop on the nail polish. Mind you in the midst of the madness earlier I had told her I didnt care if it lifted again it wasnt a big deal and that I am a hairstylist so my nails normally lift from being in water all day. This is the first time I have never tipped someone and the first time Ive ever done a review. It would be zero if I could give that many stars. My child has better manners than the employees of this salon.

My daughters nails were horrible..when I posed my concern, the owner let me know that he did not care if I left a bad review or not. He was extremely rude and the bad thing is the manager was the one that did her nails and acted extremely immature about rectifying the situation. I wouldn’t even get a free service from them .

Very rushed.. one of my nails is at a weird upward angle... OVERPRICED.. could get better quality & value elsewhere.. was worth a try going here though.only advantage is that theyre open later than most since theyre located in the mall.

I wish I could give this place zero stars! I would not even recommend this salon to a dog!! Its so dirty and disgusting 🤢. The salon is in major need of new chairs (the leather is peeling on all of them) and it smells gross in there. I was unable to make it to my usual nail place so I thought Id give this place a try and not judge a book by its cover. WRONG! Not only is this place kept nasty but my nail tech did a horrible job. My nails are uneven and she applied way too much polish causing my nails to look bumpy. She got polish all over my fingers and instead of using remover to get it off she kept trying to scrape it off with her nails. How unsanitary is that?! Do yourself a favor and listen to reviews.

I was in the area, and I decided to get a mani/pedi because of the price. That and I wanted to relax before I picked my daughter up from her grandparents house. This place is dirty. Their massage chairs are terrible. My toes look great, but the pedicure wasnt very relaxing. Most places give you a good massage, and I didnt get that. The tech lightly rubbed my feet and legs for maybe 2 minutes each. Then, he did my nails and the paint job ended up blotchy and uneven. My mom had to fix my nails when I got to her. Never again. :(

Came here with a friend for a gel manicure and a standard pedicure. The pedicure was probably the worst one Ive ever had. My water was barely luke warm, my towel was cold, there was little to no massage, and the way they kept their equipment couldnt have been sterile. Then my manicure was a disaster. She didnt bother cleaning under my nails, and when my friend brought it up she cleaned them so roughly I started bleeding under 2 nails. They shaped my nails extremely unevenly and I had to go back in and have them reshaped. All of this for a whopping $70. Do yourself a favor and skip going to this place. Im sure just about anywhere else would be better.

Went there yesterday relunctantly to give them another chance NEVER AGAIN!!! They are always trying to charge extra for basic services. My french pedi chipped same day. The quality of service is very poor and the lady who did my nails was rude.

The picture I shared is from over a week ago, I hate to be this way but my cuticles are so damaged they shredded back and are painful. I think Im upset I paid money for them to be this way but thats my fault cause I saw the previous reviews. I hope this salon invests more in their staff and tools because they are in a prime location.

Worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. The lady stopped mid way to go do a wax, when she came back from that to do the massage part of the pedicure, she hardly rubbed anything because she had long nails & didn’t put gloves back on (so I’m assuming she didn’t want lotion under her nails or what not) it was not relaxing at all. My polish is smudged even after hours after it drying, i will never go back to this place again! Biggest waste of money

Went in today for a pedicure full set and my eyebrows .. Nobody greets you you sign in and pretty much wait .. so I get my pedicure first . They range in price from 20-40$ .. I stayed with the basic pedicure . They continue to push services on you .no biggie . So I pick my color and she starts my toes .. every other nail shop I’ve been to does ingrown toenails .. nope not here .after my rushed pedicure she starts my color .. I was never informed the color from the pallet she showed me was gel .. she tells me my pedicure was 45$ .i was never showed regular polish .. my eyebrows where literally 3 mins .. hot wax and ripped right off .. no tweezing nothing .. next my full set .. I’m happy with my nails but French tip is supposed to be free with a full set but I was charged 5$ more per their sign ..the place is run down inside and not clean .. the water pipes behind the pedicure chair have yellow water on the floor and roaches drowned in the water .The hot towels they use for your legs they use to wipe up the floor ... I definitely won’t be back ...

This place doesnt even deserve a star. I went there today trying to kill time since my regular salon is in another city and I had work in a couple hours later. My fingers are hurting now, they feel bruised. The color isnt even good. I guess I picked an OPI that was almost empty. When she started to paint my nails I asked her if she wanted me to pick another color. She continued and now I can see the marks of the brush on my nail. Horrible horrible place.

Would not recommend going to lee nails they are rude and they dont do what there are suppose to. Worker couldn’t even do a color change right.

The nail technician that I had today cut my big toe while she was filing them down she cut me right in the crease of my toe and had also been using the top of my foot to use the access alcohol to wipe it off before cleaning up the nail polish instead of her using the towel that my feet were on

Went here once and wont be back. My dip nails chipped and peeled. Very cramped space inside and hot.

Never going back here. The lady took 2 hours just to do a full set and she Cut the middle of my nail and it started bleeding. She got way too close to my skin with the drill. The guy told me it would be $50 then when I went up to pay they changed it to $60. I walked out of there with a bloody nail, burning cuticles and having to pay more.

Workers are all unprofessional; all came in late while customers wait. The guy was rude. He was too aggressive with my nails; he even broke two of my real nails. He hurt me and didn’t even apologize. To make it worse, the final service was sloppy! Nails are all uneven and it was the sloppiest I’ve ever seen!This place is the worst ever! Even had the nerve to charge me $40 for a refill. Only reason why I didn’t make a scene is because I felt a migraine coming in.

The worst place ever!!!! Dirt, nail tech Michelle totally unprofessional!!!!I ask for a refill in my nails because I have overlay and the tech ask me when and where I did my previous job, she made aweful critics.... I didnt get it because she made a nasty and aweful refill and the service received was disgusting!!!! She was cleaning my borders with her dirt and horrible nails... No orange stick with cotton or brush to clean at all.No even nails... Looks like roller coasters!!!!Pedicure? Another nightmare!!!Tech with marital issues made them public!!!I definitely DO NOT recommend this disgusting place

Spent $60 on a gel acrylic pink & white mani and gave a $5 tip. the next day my acrylic nail pooped off and the gel paint was already chipping. I called to let them know I will be coming in for a refund . I wasnt rude or anything but the older lady who did my nails the previous day was so nasty to me and was trying to justify her horrible work . She was talking bad about me in her language, I assume she assumed I didnt understand because I am a black woman but she was wrong. I got only $50 refunded back because they charged me $10 to remove the nails she messed up the day prior! it was horrible, she snatched my card out my hand and gave it to get manager then stormed off upset when I should of been the one that angry. I will never return there . The only thing good was the wonderful pedi I received from Estella, she was the best and I do appreciate the manager giving me a cash refund and being understanding. Other than that, this was the worst customer service experience because of the lady who did my nails was extremely rude & vulgar . I repeat I wont return .

A week ago I went to discovery nails and had my nails done . My nail broke the very next day. I then go to Lee to ask the girl to fix my nails and she was rude . Needless to say my nails are broken again. I am absolutely disgusted and will not go there again .

If I could give a zero I would! Its dirty as heck. They are extremely rude! When I say horrible customer service... never again!!! You cant talk to me any kind of way and expect me to pay my money. Not fulfill whats apart of the service and expect a tip.

Horrible. Techs are rude, unprofessional and theyre expensive for no apparent reason. My daughter got her nails done on Monday, and her nails are already chipping.

I had a great experience, a Hispanic lady did my French pedicure, and also the lady that did my eyebrow wax did fantastic

They did such a horrible job on my nails... I told the tech that I wanted short nails. They were medium length and she told me it was an extra $5 because they were long. They also kept trying to pressure me into getting gel polish( about 5times ), which was very annoying. The nails came out uneven, the acrylic and nail polish were extremely messy. Make sure you pay AFTER they are done with the nails so they dont rip you off with a BS manicure.

I go in to make an appointment for just a regular mani/pedi and the lady asks who I want. I say someone good. When I come in for the appointment, I get this woman named Sophia who automatically has an attitude. Saying things like oh its simple you dont need someone good to do a mani pedi and its your fault the last one was bad. Overall, TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service. On top of that, my nails look crappy. I go to talk to the manager and all he can say is Im sorry. I dont recommend this place. Straight up rude. 10/2017
