Very pleasant place for a couple or even if you have 1 child. Love the big trees and seeing the gardener coming every week or 2 weeks continously really makes me happy and shows Palm cove cares about their complex. They have no problem fixing anything you need in your home too. The office staff is always friendly and truly cares about their clients and all residents.
One of the best places Ive ever lived. The landscaping outside the apartments sets it apart from the rest. I love the pool & the design of the apartments are unique. Ive never had an issue with having someone come out for maintenance, they are pretty prompt. I also like the fact that it is gated. 5/5
Palm Cove has exceeded my expectations!I moved in to my apartment sight unseen and I was more than impressed. Everything was fresh, clean and just as described in the marketing information and by the staff. The grounds are very well kept and always look outstanding.I am very happy to be a resident of Palm Cove.
Do yourself a favor and save your time and money and don’t even bother applying/living at palm cove! First of all they NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. No matter what time of day you call they never answer! Second, the leasing consultant Maria, I don’t even know how she has a job there every question you ask her is an “I don’t know”. I don’t think she answered one question for me! What do you have a job for if you can’t answer basic questions! She was so rude every time I spoke to her, and then had the audacity to say “I have other things I need to do than talk with you about this”! Third, they showed me and apartment that was supposedly move in ready but had a huge stain still on the carpet. Lastly, the application process took 3 WEEKS!! Completely ridiculous overboard questioning. I’ve rented from many places and the application process was never a problem like it was here. If I hadn’t called the leasing office and the third party company and kept up on my application the process would be way longer than three weeks I really pushed my way through to get it done this fast. Time and money wasted on this place. The staff is always a reflection on anyplace you will live!
The property is absolutely beautiful! The new pool furniture is amazing and the maintenance and office staff are always so friendly. I would recommend Palm Cove to anyone that is looking for a great home feeling.
I love Palm Cove apartments! Its perfect for me as far as location and amenities. The ground are always clean, and maintenance is really prompt in repairing things in my apartment. Glad I made the decision to move in!
The only way to get something fixed around here is to post it publicly. The hot tub needs to be fixed. It’s only good for one cycle. You need to get an outside electrician to look at the wiring
Never been better the past 13 years until condor took over. Staff is amazing and the grounds are beautiful. Thank you
Beautiful, quiet, and clean. Whenever is have a maintenance issue the staff attends to it immediately. I have never experienced such stellar service.
I love this place. Beautiful place to live. The staff is awesome and takes great care of the property. Maria and the others in the office are fast and efficient, which is awesome. I highly recommend this place if youre in the market for a new apartment.
Was just dropping off a food order. 😎
I absolutely love living here. My apartment is great. Love the landscaping. The people that work are great.
Palm Cove is by far the nicest place to live in all of Bradenton. The quiet, secluded, oasis-like property makes me feel as if I am in a private neighborhood community. Close to Publix and other convenient restaurants and stores, the location cant be beat. I feel very safe living here as there is a fence that surrounds the entire property. The 2 pools this complex offers are both beautiful and boast enough space for everyone to use. The staff is the friendliest and most professional team in the business, and they go out of their way to make you feel right at home. I would absolutely recommend living at Palm Cove to anyone looking to move to the area. Would give 6 stars if possible! I will be here for several years to come!! Thank you to the team at Condor Living for making my rental experience one to brag about!!
Great place to live. All the people that work here, office and maintenance are super friendly. Any maintenance issues are handled very professionally and fast. The grounds are very well kept. I would high recommend Palm Cove if you are looking for a new apartment! Been living here approximately 4 years now
This is a beautiful, well maintained, with heated pool, and lots amenities. Living here feels like we are on vacation every day.Great staff and maintenance people.I love it here...
I have lived at Palm Cove for almost 3 years now. I started in a one bedroom and just recently moved into a two. I am very happy here and think the staff does a great job. If i ever have an issue, the office girls send the maintenance guys by right away to take care of it. The property is always clean and they throw us parties a few times a year too.
Bare with me as this is the first negative Google review I have ever written. My wife and I lived here for 4 years. Each year we had a worse experience. Every improvement they made to the grounds and facilities had a large cost that was passed directly to the tenants. They rarely responded to maintenance requests, and when they did the job done was a sub-par quick fix. By the end of our stay only half of our electrical outlets worked and the A/C barely ran (this is Florida mind you). The staff was also extremely hostile at all times.During hurricane Irma, as the category 5 killer storm descended on the Tampa area, they released a preemptive statement via a flyer, to forbid tenants from taking any extra precautions (ie boarding windows or strapping anything down) to insure anyones greater safety.Near the end of our stay they implemented an at door trash pickup that we were simply forced to pay for, whether we used it or not. Previously, I would simply use my healthy and able body and walk 150 ft. down to the trash collection area and deposit my bags. Just simply another roundabout way to extort more funds from you...and there was always something being added.I want to emphasize that these rental properties, like many in Florida, are designed to pray on non-homeowners and extract as much of your income as possible, plain and simple. They will find every item possible to upcharge you for, at every given turn. Then, when you are done renting, your security deposit vaporizes for unexplained reasons with no recourse to get it returned. My advice, save save save. Be frugal and buy your own home if at all possible. Even if you buy a shanty, at least you can put a board on the window when a cat 5 hurricane comes to wipe you out.A further bit of advice, dont move to Florida. I have lived all over the United States and there is nowhere more collectively hateful or miserable. We moved out 6 years ago, but the experience has been seared in our brains as a waking nightmare from which you cannot excape.0/5 stars.
Always felt welcome! Beautiful grounds. Close to everything!
~2 Years Resident Experience. The Good:Its relatively quiet at nightVery nice gazebo, pool, hot tub area, well keptDog stations with bags kept stockedThe appearance of constant upkeep being done (maintenance guys constantly golf carting around during day)The front office often places notes on doors for some holidays, which are a nice touch. The Bad:Creaky floors, can easily hear conversations from upstairs neighborsA few issues with maintenance and often repeating service calls on recurring issuesA lot of the service representatives are unprofessional, do not return calls, and do not show care about your concerns. Bottom line, customer service is severely LACKING.Theft, I have had a bike lock cut and my bike stolen (contacted the property, no returned call or email), have had multiple packages from Amazon stolen.
We have been here for over 2 years, best apartment experience my family and I have ever had. Staff is friendly and when you have an issue they come right out. The complex looks great as well!
Since moving into Palm Cove I have been highly impressed. The property and landscaping is absolutely beautiful. They are constantly doing improvements to make this community beautiful. I feel like I live in a resort rather then an apartment complex. The office staff is very proactive and extremely helpful and friendly. Any issue I have brought up to them has been taken care of in a very fair timely manner. My puppy absolutely loves the dog park and I love seeing all the other residents dogs knowing there is no limit to what breed or type of dog you can have, the dog park is perfectly placed next to the playground so my kids can play at the same time as their furfriend. I get to wash my car whenever I want for a cheap price in the conveniently located car wash. The pool area is absolutely gorgeous and the amenities are very convenient, especially the 24 hour gym considering I work all day until the late nights. Im a single mother and taking out the trash is a struggle but we have a thing called Valet trash where you leave your trash outside your door and they pick it up and dispose it for you. So far since living here I have nothing negative to say about this community.
Love the pools! Excited to see the updated back pool they are working on now. I moved to Florida for this living experience, Ill be a resident here for many years to come and am never going back to the cold tundra I used to call home.
I presently live at Palm Cove and have lived here for 5 plus years. I loved it the first time I saw it and still love it. The office staff has always been AWESOME to me and any time I have EVER put in a work order it has been taken care of in a timely manner. I love living here and will continue to live here. The maintenance staff is AWESOME as well. They go above and beyond. This is one of the most beautiful places to live.
Although the club house is beautiful, words cant express how dissatisfied and angry I was at the low level of unprofessionalism.I reserved the club house a month prior to my event AND I asked at least once every month-for SIX MONTHS-before to see if they decided the club house was even available for rent (at one time it wasnt). Therefore, you would think theyd be more prepared for us than they were.First, this was a wedding related event, so it was difficult not having the confirmation that the club house was available for rental in advance, because wedding invitations had to go out six months before the wedding, and that event info had to be included.Second, and more importantly, they had us go through forms and a meeting about how to treat and clean up their club house, and yet they werent even prepared for us. They knew we required the grills to feed all our guests and yet there werent any propane tanks!!! So we had to stop our wedding party, leave our guests, and spend money we didnt have (our wedding was the next day) on a propane tank.To make matters worse, my husband and I have tried and tried to contact the property manager about getting reimbursed for the propane tank by email, phone calls, messages, and visiting the office. We get the same answers; You just missed her, She just left, Ill have the property manager call you back, etc etc, CLEARLY avoiding us. Ive tried contacting the corporate office too. Nothing. We arent even allowed to have propane tanks on our Lanai, but here we are having this stupid propane tank that we cant use and cant keep, but cant get reimbursed for it by Palm Cove. The money we spent on that tank is a lot to me, as a teacher. They still have yet to grow a pair and respond to us, especially after all the trouble theyve caused. This is NOT how to treat your residents.
I love this property! Its so pretty. I feel like I live in paradise. When I am at the main pool and look around its like living at a resort. I had a situation with my dryer and it was fixed perfectly in about two days. I have no complaints. I love love love my home!
I am a single mom to a beautiful little girl and we have called Palm Cove home since the day she was born (2.5 yrs ago). The property is beautiful and the staff is kind to us. We live in a great 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment on the 2nd floor with a really large balcony overlooking the pool and tennis courts. We are very happy here and cant imagine calling another place home!
Addie and her team at Palm Cove are amazing, super friendly and willing to help anyway possible. Grounds are well maintained and clean. The landscaping is beautiful with the mature trees and lakes with fountains it most certainly has a genuine Florida feel. The family and I love it here. Thank you for everything Palm Cove!!
Weve been here for almost two years. We loved it when we first moved in even though the price is to high for the sq footage. The price you have to pay for water and sewer is never under $60 which is insane for two people. The new management is TERRIBLE! They have no idea what they are doing. There is weeds all over the place, they used to have landscapers every week to make sure it stayed nice and now its embarrassing. The car center vacuum doesnt work so dont clean out your car and expect to vacuum it out youll just loose your money and have to put it all back in. Anytime you put in a maintenance request they take weeks to come even if its an emergency. Our bathroom ceiling leaks when the people upstairs use the shower and it leaks downstairs when we use ours. All they keep doing is patching it up and not actually taking care of it. They need a better staff they are really bringing the place down. I hope they bring in new people and make the place great again but until then I do NOT recommend living here.
I love living in Palm Cove. The property is beautiful and the amenities are great. The only negative feedback I have is something that I think could be a simple change. The front gate is covered in metal signs and bright yellow graters. This is the type of thing you would see at a mobile home park or a highly secured business, not a luxury apartment. Considering the gates dont really provide security, they do keep out potential customers and scream unwelcome to guests and friends who visit. Such a gorgeous property should consider a more friendly gate that matches the rest of the community. Other that than, awesome work Palm Cove! Keep up the great work.
Finally a company in Florida that cares about its tenants! Ever since the owners found out that the third party they had hired to manage them was doing NOTHING for their tenants, they have surpassed my expectations! They listen to the tenants and any work orders I need get handled immediately! Sean was my initial contact and I appreciate all he did for me to get my apartment on the right track! Orlando in maintenance does an AWESOME job!!! And the ladies in the office have been super friendly and responsive as well -- Julie, Liz, Laura, Heather, Ginny, Nicole, & Kaitlyn. Thank you all so much -- I highly recommend Palm Cove Apartments!!!!
I live in apartment 1932 and my washer had broke. Scott the grounds man was the only one willing to help get my washer replaced. He brought up the new one, installed it and removed the broken one. He went above and beyond for me, doing the work of the maintainence people as well. Thank you to Scott for helping me out.
Been living here for almost two years, reluctantly. Seriously over priced. We have 660 square feet and pay 1100 a month. They forced out the people who owned their units to charge more for new tenants. I still live here. Counting down the days till my lease is up or I put a bullet in my head because I can’t take paying so much for rent. Gate works 45% of the time. They rotate mangers like a high schooler does a girlfriend. Can’t get carpet repaired to save our lives. The way to pay rent has changed more than the flavor of the month at Starbucks. They refused to let residents board up when hurricane Irma was supposed to hit us. I asked them and they said “that’s why we have renters insurance” Their office golf carts always parked to block half the road. Heaven forbid you fall on hard times and need a break to be a few days late on rent. It happens to everyone at least once. They say you get 6 days and after that we have issues. I just really can’t wait to get out.
Lived here for almost 2 years and saw how community gradually changed for the better. Parking lot and roads just got newly paved. Gates were closed for the weekend and night times. Many services were provided for residents, including valet trash service for fee, package delivery, and sometimes apt sitting as well. The leasing office regularly held events for residents to socialize. It is a pet friendly community with small play area for pets, but some owners often forget to clean up after their pets. Noise level was reasonable most of the time, except during summer time when pool parties take place. Publix and Aldi are next door with Walmart just down the street. Would recommend those looking for an apt on Cortez road.
We have lived in Palm Cove going on 4 years. The office staff are kind, friendly and always go above and beyond for us absolutley fantastic group. I am just amazed by the ground keepers and the impeccable job they are doing to beautify this community outstanding work.Maintenance is a whole team within themselves. We have had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with several of the gentlemen. I will say without a doubt they do a exceptional professional job anytime we have had an issue. For anyone looking to move into a friendly, family based community this is the place!Rhonda Nemechek
I live here for about 3 years, and I think its one of the nicer rental places in Bradenton. If I didnt buy a house I would have stayed. The new management is particularly good--very responsive, polite, helpful. The pool area is one thing Ill miss. They do a good job taking care of the grounds (now, under new management), maintenance staff is quick and efficient in responding to requests. Apartments are on the cramped side in terms of the layout but most apartments are. Very pet friendly. Neighbors were mostly nice, though of course you have some people who are inconsiderate. Overall I recommend it if you are going to rent.
The new management company is not very tenant friendly. The need to work on this. I never had any trouble in the six years I lived here until now. I have been treated so rudely since I chose not to renew my lease, and move. Today I was called, and told that they were calling the police on me if I did not return the washer and dryer. I did not have a washer and dryer. When I called to explain it was oh ok. Maybe some training would help. I moved because the inside of the apartment was in need of a update so bad. Dont just look at the model. The model is beautiful, the other apartments are not!
The Office ladies are very nice and have amazing personalities. They have 2 pools with one having a heated hot tub. They have community events going on most of the time. Theres just a different type of energy to this place, one that you would be foolish to miss out on. Prices are pretty good and trash/sewer is covered. Just be warned, there are 25 foot alligators roaming the streets so if youre moving to palm cove, come prepared!
Lived here for 2+ years. The neighborhood has steadily gone down hill, the facilities as well as the standard of residents that are now being accepted. Nothing ever works, you pay for a gated community where the gate goes out for months at a time, the hot tub jets have been broken more than theyve worked since we moved in, the gym constantly has broken machines, the pool and hot tub are always dirty and they dont enforce any of the rules. Clearly marked tobacco products prohibited in the pool area and this was discussed durning our lease signing, yet on any given day the pool area is more like a smoke filled bar, (where people fling their ashes and cigarette butts in the pool and on the brick pool surround) than a relaxing resort style pool. Too many higher quality, better quality of life choices for the same money (or less) in the area. Will definitely be heading elsewhere when the current lease runs out.
Anyone interested in putting together a class action lawsuit against Palm Cove Apartments for their illegal practices in forcing tenants out at the end of their lease so they can try to collect more in lease termination charges than the total remaining rent due. Please contact me so we can assemble a class action law suit. This practice makes them responsible to pay anyone under this practice actual damages or 2 months rent, which ever is greater.
This apartment complex have several serious issues. The main problem is the management staff in the office. They are simply too young and have no experience or not enough experience in running a facility like Palm Cove. No customer service skills whatsoever, primitive and unintelligent. One of the girls in the office cant conduct an intelligent conversation never mind manage anything.I think they think they are cool and take themselves very seriously lol. Change the staff and get in a new property manager. The staff they have in there now are ridiculous! The place is run down and shabby in many areas. I remember when this place first opened many years ago. It was called Hampton Court back then and it was looked after and managed very well. Those days seem to have long gone and it needs serious upgrades in several areas. I had issues with my AC unit over and over again. They never managed to fix it no matter how nicely I asked. I had two water leaks in less than 4 weeks. The roof needed and probably still does new shingles on it as they were falling off in places. My door handle had issues that took weeks to fix. I even had a infestation of Cock roaches that apparently came from the unit below? This apartment complex is a disaster. Very little garden maintenance, half the grass is dead. The tennis courts were falling apart to the point it was ridiculous to look at. I understand they finally due to safety issues resurfaced it to avoid legal action.Avoid this place as there are so many better places to choose from in the area.
I have lived in Palm Cove going on 3 years now. Within the last year ownership and management were both changed for the better! From the office employees to the maintenance/grounds crew everyone and I mean everyone carries a big smile and a helpful attitude. Many of them are residents as well which makes this tenant quite happy. One Example, Scotty a maintenance member went totally out of his way to replace my blinds and clean my A/C unit. I literally mentioned it to the man in passing and he was over and resolving my problems the next morning. He showed initiative and a true caring attitude. I have never had an experience like that anywhere I have lived previously. It was worth writing a review and I dont write reviews typically. Thank you Scotty and the entire Palm Cove Staff!!!
For the amount in rent they charge you would think that the parking situation would be better but it is horrible! People who don’t live here constantly take spots from ACTUAL TENANTS, which make no sense when they could have a visitors parking section. People who have work truck need to to pay extra to have more than one space. I don’t understand why I have to park far from my place walking in the dark because someone who doesn’t live here is visiting. I’m sure not the entire complex is this way but where is stay is and I was told the parking was plenty but that was a lie. Changes need to be made because in pay more that my friend and their complex had passes visitor parking in Brandon.
Grounds are beautiful but looks can be deceiving. If you have pets take pictures of everything when moving out. I was hit with carpet removal fees above and beyond the pet fees. And it is a Fee not a deposit. Straight cash in their pocket. I had no proof. I knew the place was in perfect condition but until they do an inspection which they do after you are gone. Your are on the hook for anything they deem is wrong. I hadnt been in an apartment for 20 years. I took care of the apartment as if I owned it and still got screwed with bogus pictures of someone elses pet stains, when I moved out.
Lived here for a year and a couple months. It was mostly good. I like their community pool and the hot tub is a great plus. Location is good and neighbors are quiet enough and mind to themselves. I lived in the smallest 1 bed apartment and loved the screened in patio outside. Felt safe enough to where I would leave my windows open when I left the house and nothing ever happened. The smallest apartment was perfect for just me and my dog. I later adopted two cats and although you are only supposed to have a max of two animals none of the maintenance people said anything and no one asked me to pay an extra pet fee so I never felt like they unfairly took money from me. Towards the end of my lease I was given some wrong information by a staff member about when I needed to give them notice of me leaving, telling me that if I left halfway through the month I only had to pay half my rent. Turns out that information was incorrect and I was supposed to pay my entire months rent, but since I was given wrong information they waved the last part of the months rent, which was really nice and saved me a couple hundred dollars. I keep reading reviews about them screwing people over, but I cant imagine them doing that since there were so many things they didnt charge me for that they were supposed to. Staff will work with you.On the negative side, the gates NEVER work. I think they may have for like two weeks the entire time i lived there. Street lights were often out making it really dark and scary to walk my dog at night. You have to bring your own propane to use their grills (I dont know if thats a thing you usually have to do or not). Maintenance takes a while to get to stuff, but it eventually gets done. They even helped me kill a spider! The MAJOR thing that bothered me was the reason why I moved out. During the first three months I had a huge problem with roaches and palmetto bugs. I was actually terrified to go to sleep because I could hear them flapping their wings at night. After my upstairs neighbors moved out that problem coincidentally disappeared. Everything was perfect for about a month until I started getting fleas. Fleas were EVERYWHERE! I spent over $1,500 trying to get rid of them through dipping my animals to washing everything in my apartment every week. As soon as I would get rid of them, they would be back within three weeks. Eventually I had enough of it and I think the entire building was infected. I was driving myself insane and had to leave since I did everything I could do.Overall it was a great place to live. I wish I could have stayed but the bug situation was too much for me to handle.
Rent as far away from Palm Cove as possible. I advise taking a lawyer or recording every interaction you have with the staff of Palm Cove. Not one staff member knows or even understands the lease that they present to potential renters. When trying to rent a new apartment, I had to list Palm Cove as my former landlord. When the new landlord reached out to them, they said that they have never had a renter on the premises by that name. Which is ironic, since I currently am a renter of Palm Cove until 10/30/16. They told my future landlord not once but twice, that I do not nor have I ever lived there. After numerous phone calls and annoying effort on my part, the rental office finally found my information...Their excuse was that they couldnt make out my name on the form that my future landlord sent over. (The form was typed...) Additionally, I went in too ask about the potential of subletting my apartment because of a recent promotion in another state. I sat and spoke with a rental agent for over an hour and discussed all my options. He said that we have to give a 60 day notice, and are allowed to sublet, but the rental office would not help in subletting the apartment. When I went back 3 weeks later, to give my 60 day notice and to present my person for sublet, they told me that I was not allowed to sublet at all, and that Palm Cove has NEVER let anyone sublet before....in turn, they told me I was obligated for the 60 days, and then would have to pay a $2,000 buyout of my lease. The rental agent had no recollection of our hour long conversation, 3 weeks before. Furthermore, putting in a work order will take anywhere from 1-3 months to be filled, so if your AC unit is leaking--i hope you have great renters insurance, or enjoy an indoor pool. When looking to rent, they will only show you models, and never the unit you are renting. The unit I rented, the first time I walked in, had electrical wires hanging from the ceiling and all the screens were out of the windows and laying on the carpet.90% of community amenities they offer do not work.Gated Community - the Gate never worked in the 8 months of residenceGrill by the Pool- the Grill is historically empty on propaneLocked Pool- Sure there is a nice pool with 5 entrances and 4 of the 5 are always locked. The only opened gate is if you are willing to drive to the other side of the community and walk over 100 yards through a tennis court to access the pool. Finally, Palm Cove says they took on new management in January of 2016. Everything has gotten worse then it already was.If you need a better place to live than Palm Cove, head over to 17th st near McKechnie field. There are PLENTY of homeless shelters that offer a better option than Palm Cove. And do not let the 1 star fool you, I had no choice but to give them a 1 star to be allowed to post because the system would not allow negative stars.Sincerely,A Very Very Unhappy Renter of Palm Cove.
The walls are a thin you can lieterally hear when someone upstairs pees. and id rather not have carpeting, I dont know why any rental would have that especially beige. Also expect rent to get raised every term. Grounds are pretty and well maintaned though.
I lived here for 3 years and the keep changing management. Every time management change they keep losing paperwork wirh proof that deposit was paid. I had to argue with them 3 times that a paid my pet deposit of $300. Now they are saying that my husband didnt paid a deposit either. Which means I have to go and argue with them that he did. I learned to keep ALL the leases I had with them Also they will offer to pay some company to clean your carpet but you and up hiring someone also because they dont do a good job. I found huge roaches once in a while. Neighboords are loud and when the office finds out they want you to talk to them. It should be there job to remind the loud neighboords regarding the rules. My rent went from $800 to $1010 in a matter of 3 years. Also good luck with a return call once you become a resident. Before you become a resident they will treat you the best they can after that they will take their time to call you . I didnt want to leave a negative review but I have drive with a 3 month old baby to prove to them AGAIN that my husband, my dog and myself paid a deposit. They are asking for money after we moved out. They should check their records and realize they need to pay part of my deposit back.
What a horrible place to call HOME!! The rude people managing this place dont know what the word hospitality means! I wouldnt recommend this place for a homeless person even!
This apartment complex is horrifying. No timely maintenance (and that is an understatement). Total filth. Be prepared to walk in piles of dog crap. Office staff/management are unbelievably rude, and they couldnt care less about serious problems experienced by tenants. The model apartments are very misleading, and they do not accurately reflect the dumpy apartments. If you have a major leak in your apartment, they wont fix the problem until your possessions have been destroyed.
This is the first review I have ever written online and the only reason I am doing so is in the hopes that I can save someone from having to live at such a poorly managed property.I had two leaks in my apartment that took over two months to fix. I emailed and called about it and no one ever came to fix the problem until I physically went into the office to complain about the problem. The staff did not seem to even care that the problem took more than two months to fix. They also did not offer any compensation for the problem even when asked. I had to bring in the emails that I sent to get them to even sit down with me a discuss possibly getting partially refunded. My buddy that lives in Palm Cove as well had a broken dryer for 1.5 months. They do not know how to do their job here. Save yourself and do not move into Palm Cove!!!!!!!!!!!
ZERO STARS!!! DO NOT LEASE WITH THEM!!! We moved from NJ to FL and when we saw the model, they told us the unit we would be renting was identical -LIES! They did the old BATE and SWITCH on us... We arrived Friday evening, so no one did the walk through with us. Upon entry, the unit was NOT what we agreed upon. There was a fireplace taking up an entire wall, that we were never told about (and the tile around the fireplace was cracked and missing pieces. The screened patio literally looked like my 8 year old nephew installed the screening with staples! THERE WERE ANTS! The living room was sunken (a step down). It SMELLED like CATS and MILDEW, despite being with the leasing manager, who assured me and confirmed that there had been no previous pets in the unit prior to me -LIES! THE A/C DID NOT WORK!!! The unit reached over 80 degrees and because it was the weekend, nobody was available to fix it. Our neighbors across the way, loaned us their portable A/C unit, that the complex gave to them because THEIR A/C had broken weeks prior and that was their solution! (PS: They were in legal litigations with Palm Cove and staying in a hotel at the time, because their unit was in such disarray!) The Luxury unit, that we paid extra for, was not luxury in any way! There were gaps, chips and holes in the granite counter tops. The faux farm cabinets were peeling off! The faucets in bathrooms were from 1985 -literally! The washer/drier were not working! The dryer hose wasnt vented properly, so the heat was coming right out into the room and guest bath, reaching over 90+ degrees! We attempted the pool on Sunday, but were told by residents rushing out, that there were grown adults fighting and threatening physical injury to each other... in front of children, so we left! When we finally reached the property manager on Monday, she was completely unprofessional, arrogant and had no sympathy whatsoever! After explaining our many major issues to her, she said to us Well, do you want your money back, so you can leave? -horrific! We ended up moving by the end of that week (couldnt leave any sooner, because we had to start work at our NEW JOBS!) Of course, they had the nerve to charge us for being there the 7 days, due to THEIR errors! Over $800 to stay the week, over $600 to keep the moving truck, over $500 for an unexpected new deposit for a new apartment, and the list goes on!DO NOT LEASE WITH THEM, THEY ARE HORRIFIC! There are plenty of other apartments, particularly out EAST, that are a tad more, but you get what you pay for!!!
The front property is kept neat, but the back apt grounds are unkempt. The inner courtyards are not cleaned and people walk their dogs and dont clean up behind them and walk them in other people areas with cleaning up. Filthy people
Your lucky i am not able to post the pictures of your dumpster area for the past 2-3 weeks. The mountain of exposed trash is both a heatlh risk, and attracts animals. not to mention an eye sore. The Grounds are filthy, well maintained, however a quick walk through the grass will quickly lead you through seemingly endless piles of dog fecies. To Management: Clean up your place. Sincerly, Your Residents..
