They are not what they say they are and the website has false information. These apartments are not kept up. The gutters are not cleaned out so its like a waterfall when it rains when you try and leave. There are roaches and trash is everywhere. Nothing is ever cleaned up. It is super loud and some of the neighbors are not very welcoming. Supposed to be gated and its not. People are coming thru fences and side gates are left open. The pool does not work and ceiling on the patios is falling in because stuff leaks. Black stuff coming out of vents. The price you pay is not worth it when they are not taken care of. Health department needs called

The apratements are in bad shape infested with roaches they maintenance crew is very sorry you can put a work order in they will have u eating a week or two just to come fix what you are complaining about and they still don’t properly fix the issue and the maintenance crew to lazy to pick up all the debris like they suppose to would not recommend living here

Looked forward to living here. Unfortunately the many apartments that were online were unavailable since they don’t really update the website and they only had a one bedroom apartment available. I was told due to fire code I cannot have a one bedroom because I can’t sleep in the same room as my 2 year old. Haven’t had an apartment complex state that before to me. They did not allow us to see an apartment until a two or more bedroom apartment was available. Noticed as we were leaving they were showing a family an apartment.

They people from the office are so Rude, they need to hired people how they do the job cause they never have an answer to anything! It was so hard to give them a star!!

At the time of visiting Mira Lagos apartments, I was a single mom with a 6 month old and I was told I wasn’t able to get a one bedroom apartment because the fire department required I get a 2 bedroom if I had a child with me. Saw online they had several 1 bed room and 2 bedroom apartments but was told they have only one 3 bedroom apartments that’s going to be several hundred dollars above price online. I let them know I could only afford a one bedroom and was told that the law is 2 bedroom and by looking at my pay I can afford a 2 bedroom.

Beautiful property, well maintained and central location.

I use to live here back when it was called Manatee Woods, when you couldnt walk alone at night here. Now Im back in the area and the difference is HUGE. The place looks great. The new office is wonderful and the staff is so kind and welcoming. You can rally tell the staff cares about the apartments because Ive even seen the manager and office staff cleaning up the property.

Ive been living here for over 5 yrs and there have been a lot of changes, all the props to the manager, Wanda, she really has made this place so much better. All the staff are very helpful, and kind. You always see them cleaning up the property and smiling at everyone. Im really glad to make this my home.

These apartments are no longer suitable for families, lately there are so many new people and do not respect the night hours, they make noise and smoke and drink at all hours outside the apartment and they dont care about that children are living here. This is already out of control ....I dont think that people work if they stay outside until 4 -5 a.m smoking and talking loud. This place dont feel safe anymore. DO NOT RENT!!!

It has been a great experience the leasing office consultant Angelica is an absolute angel. The office manager was awesome as well. Ladies keep up the hard work.

Not a bad place to live. We had a rocky start, but it’s not bad here at all.

We are interested in leasing. We saw three 3-bedroom units available on the website. You have to begin the application process online before you can see what units are available. Unfortunately, there is no property map to locate the available units. I have been trying for weeks to contact someone in the office, but no one ever answers the phone. It doesnt matter what time I call. There is no voicemail either. I dont see a way to send a private message here.

I can not thank enough the staff at Mira Lagos. I had an emergency and the manager and assistant manager came right away even though it was after hours. They both worked right along side the maintenance to take care of the problem. Wonderful people.I feel so blessed to live here.

I wish there was a no stars button. It likely took me out to give this dump one star. The pictures they have posted here are just like the burger commercials. When you get it it doesnt look like whats on television. I have provided proof to back it up. Theres always trash in odd places. The dog park stays dirty and is hideous. One persons porch looks like the roof of it is going to cave in at anytime. Code enforcement needs to come check it out. The power /electrical boxes are left wide open for anyone to tamper with. The a/c upstairs or something is leaking on the ceilings and thats after repairing. This is project living at its best. This is somewhere you live when everyone else is full. This is where you come when you cannot afford other places. This is a place where you have to lower your standards and swallow your pride to sleep here. Its not worth it. Go somewhere else.

The staff is very caring and sweet. If you have any problems they help you. Its affordable and well taken care of. I love living here. Wanda and Rachel are sweet hearts.

It took everything in me to give them one star. Management needs a course in professionalism and providing exceptional customer service. They dont like to answer the phone and seem to never be in the office. They will lie in a New York minute. A turtle moves faster than maintenance does. When they come, they do a rush job and rig it up. Who ever heard of a porch light being wired to a plug on the outside. I dont know if I want to continue staying in trash-ville. The dumpter stays running over and it takes them forever to empty it. They got rid of management recently but I think they need to do it again. Definitely need a lesson in not taking business personal.

We were contracted to take care of an animal issue, and they never paid. Its been over a year. We sent all the information they needed to a manager. Several months later, they got a new manager, and we had to send everything again due to not being registered in the system the first time. They have and will not return or answer any phone calls Its sad and terrible to use a contractor, and disregard the decency to follow through and pay them.

I came over for my vacations and the place is pretty good. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. Affordable and nice apartments.

I have been a resident of Mira Lagos since September 1st 2018 and my AC unit has been broken since November of 2018. I have been to the office several times and filed repeated formal maintenance requests and they come out to fix it and they gave us a portable AC unit to use. It is 80 degrees inside the apartment and 95 degreesoutside temperature in July...and Florida law considers this criminally negligent, yet in the lease it states the resident cant hold them legally responsible if they make reasonable attempts to fix it, which that portable AC unit constitutes compliance. In addition, the lease also has a provision that if the resident does take legal action and wins, they are liable for the attorneys fees and court costs for the complex, up to $15,000, and being that this is an income restricted community...that negates the residents ability to actually take such action bc most dont have the resources to pay a lawyer in the first place.My mentally ill daughter lives there alone and has gone to the office to try to get them to fix it, and they dismiss her entirely and she doesnt know to file formal maintenance requests, so nothing is resolved and due to her illness, she doesnt inform me unless i ask specifically.As a result, her freezer has also been non functional for at least a month with the same attempts at fixing the problem as the AC, with no resolution.There is also a provision in the lease that even in the event of negligence on the part of the complex that having the rent amounts reduced or absolved is not an available resolution.They also tell you at move in that the broken pool is being fixed next week yet longtime residents have told me its been unuseable for years.DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!!

This place is TERRIBLE! They have at least a hundred potholes that are ruining my BRAND NEW cars alignment. The pool has been out of order for god knows how long. Oh, and the security gate was supposed to be fixed a month ago. Guess what? It isnt fixed. There were 5 cops at my building last week because a drunk neighbor pulled a knife on someone. Last night, they towed my car when I didnt know I couldnt park somewhere and it cost me $144 to get it out. NEVER move here! It is the worst possible place you could EVER live!

I would never stay there. The place was littered with trash, the entrance smelled like a dumpster (because it was right next to a dumpster) and the staff was extremely rude. My friend and I had biked 30+ minutes to see the place. So when we walked in an hour before closing the lady said didnt I close the door? Then when business was done the same lady said This isnt a hang out place, can I help you with anything else. Would never reccomend staying there.

Stopped by this week to see if any apartments were available. Did not feel safe as there was no security at the OPEN gate, pictures are basically false advertisment. Pool was a bright algea grean, tenants were driving around with garbage bags on top of their cars, landscape looked terrible. Im sure there were drugs deals being done. Very ghetto, look elsewhere!

The fact I never have gotten a call back about my rental inquiry after leaving voicemails and sending emails is poor performance. If office staff cant call me back, I dont even want to know how long it would take for a maintenance call.

THE WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX EVER. The woman in the office are the maintenance, it takes them at least 2 months to fix anything, it’s a wasp nest that’s been growing for more than three months they won’t attend to, they are only moving in Hispanics, the list goes on. I dont even know how to start....I do not live at this property NEVER will nor will recommend anyone to live here.....On Saturday the 19th I came to visit some friends of mines who live at this property. This is what I walked into the lady in unit 368 had nasty poop water coming from all toilets and tubs flooding her apartment with this smelly water, she said this happened FRIDAYYYY but the maintenance emergency line was full and could not leave a voicemail, so this poor lady had this happen for more than 24 hours till finally neighbors decide to call 911 because the water will just not stop. When fire department shows up one of the office staff also shows up who I believe is the Asst. Manager. WHATTTT A RUDEEEEEE ANIMALLLLL because this lady is not a human. Puts her hand out to another tenants FACE who lives in the same building and was just outside trying to help this poor lady and says in Spanish You get out of my sight WOW!!! I was in shock! there were other people standing outside who I think were visiting the lady in unit 368 and again the staff member yells at her guest in Spanish what are you guys doing standing there? one lady responded, Im sorry but I am here visiting a friend. and again the staff member goes I dont care you need to leave or I will call the cops!!This property just gets worst and worst and its all due to the poor customer service the office provides. I told the lady myself to call corporate but she is scared to do so because they are not US citizens. I even heard the lady in 368 ask if she can be transferred and the response was no you can just leave with no penalty. Then she says can u guys get me a hotel and she says nooo go stay with your sister who also lives on site. I am a property manager myself and I will neverrrr treat anyone this way. I hope management takes action and hires someone with the proper skills because its obvious that she is not trained for this type of work. She needs to serious customer services training along with the property manager. NEVER MOVE HERE!!! By the way most of all the positive reviews on this site are written by the office staff!!

I have to say that this place was my home for one year. Staff are good people my fridge went bad next day I had a new one. Some of the problems I did not like was the fact that there where people breaking into peoples houses. One of those cases they took all the tv on the house money and many stuff more, theres no working cámaras. When I moved in the apartment was full of roaches, I had to take care of them because the apartment did nothing about it. It was bad they where all over the place. After 3 months they got new management thats when my fridge was change. The bad thing about miralagos apartment its simple, the owner doesnt want to spend money and fix them. Im still waiting after 2 months of moving out for my $300 deposit.

What can i say this is the 3rd review i right about this place. its been almost a year and i still have not received my deposit. PEOPLE DONT RENT IN MIRALAGOS...... My elderly mother in law is going through the samething as Leonardo and other reviews. Rats every where, no one comes to follow up on complaints, damage after damage. Recently she fell and rushed to hospital from a leak by the thermostat which she complained about many times. Could someone assist us in filing a complaint with the city? This cant continue. Shame on you management company.

Its nothing to like about out here. They dont fix nothing at all then have an attitude when you tell them whats wrong in your apartment. RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN FROM THIS PLACE!!! There are so many BATS that you can see them flying all over the place at NIGHT. BATS are the WORST they STINK your apartment so much to the point that you cant breath PURE AIR trouble sleeping every night because YOU CAN HEAR THE BATS scratching and its annoying TRUST ME THE SMELL IS HORRIBLE because BATS POOP EVERYWHERE! Research about all the DANGERS you can run by leaving in a place that has BATS! LETS not even mention the RATS they are out of control!!!! TRUST I have ask them to fix the issues TO THE POINT IM STILL WAITING FOR the issue to be fixed once my contract is over running out of here!!!

I apologize Im really late. But I have to share my review to save others from this hideous place.I was here from May 2013 to November 2015. This place is awful. I stayed here for a ye. This place doesnt even deserve one star. I wouldnt recommend this place for someones pet. Oh lord, where do I begin?I was in apartment 419, building 16 on the second floor. I was pregnant and had a small toddler. The A.C. didnt work at all. It was very loud. The temperature would get up to 80 -85 degrees. And it was dripping. I spent a lot of days there sick and weak while pregnant, because of the heat. My children, I had to let them run around in their birthday suit.It took a whole month for maintenance to look at it. And believe me, thats all he did. Just literally look at it. And told me that I should get a filter. But that didnt change anything. (Mind you they only had one maintenance man! For all of those apartments complexes! Sheesh!) I spent months contacting them with no response. I did threaten to not pay rent and the property manager just looked at my A.C. and walked away.The A.C. was dripping so bad that it was starting to flood our neighbors apartment below. We tried to contact the office and still no response.Shortly after I moved in I walked outside and the neighbors apartment, beside me, had maggots everywhere. They moved shortly after my arrival and they left their trash sitting out. It sat there for almost two weeks. I had to call maintenance to pick it up. Then I had to call maintenance again to come back and get rid of the maggots.There were roaches all over. Some were sky diving off the ceiling. There were so many that they began to migrate on the ceiling. But of course we would see most of them in the evening.They play favorites. My rent was 800$ for a 3 bedroom and after a year it increased to $820. Shortly before I moved out, our new neighbors told me that they pay $700 for their 3 bedroom. I couldnt understand why my rent was being raised. I was doing everything correctly and paying on time.We stayed in the back and had to walk all the way to the front entrance to the dumpster to throw our trash away. It took me about 19 mins every time.You also have to go all the way to the entrance to pick up your mail. Its annoying when you live in the back.They have crazy, outrageous rules. If your car has a flat tire. It will be towed if you dont move it within 24 hours. The tow truck comes in the apartment complex every single day, sometimes several times a day and drives around like a drive by.The fire alarm was extremely loud and it would go off at 2/3am! Obviously it was broken or something because there wasnt an emergency.If you have a guest, you have to get permission from the office if they plan to stay awhile. Seriously?!The late fee for rent, always increasing. I had to pay 40$ extra but it increased to 100$.The speed bumps of death!! after several months they tried to fix it but it took them a long time. I felt like I was the Flintstones, coming in and out of my apartment. Some cars had damage from the entrance roads. Because there was giant holes everywhere.Its really hard to get in contact with the property manager.I couldnt take my kids to the play ground because ants where everywhere.One good thing I could say is that maintenance was quick to to fix the dish washer but I think new staff was hired before I left.Its definitely NOT worth the price.

If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. First off, the manager that was there (Wanda Martinez) is an unprofessional and RACIST individual. I remember going into the office and there was an African American couple that needed an apartment. The leasing agent at the time went into the back office to ask the manager if there were any apartments available for them. I heard Wanda distinctly ask if “they were black”. When the leasing answered, I assume she told her that there were no apartments available. Then when I asked her if they had apartments available, Wanda came out and asked me if I wanted to move in today! Also, they hired a new leasing agent which was a total ass to me. I have also heard that they change around the income requirements for Hispanic people only! Also the apartments are INFESTED WITH RATS, ROACHES, and BEDBUGS!! Disgusting!! The old assistant manager still lives there even though she’s not supposed to because she makes too much money. But Wanda let it slide and just put the apartment under her boyfriends name. There are so many corrupt things with this place and it’s absolutely disgusting. DONT MOVE HERE!!!

This has been on of the worst places ive been in. Dont even know where to begin with first they gave me a broken apartment literally falling into pieces my room dont have light i have to turn the bathroom light on to see half of the outlets dont work the shower is falling apart a dishwaher that dont work and far the most i have rats infestation walking through the ceiling breaking everything the cabinets my food and the administración nothing, a pool that is there for nothing just sit there to rot the lake is a disgusting thing garbage are floating not to mention the outside of the apt falling apart i am so over with this place crazy to b gone and never recommend it.

I wish I could rate a 0 star. Front desk is rude and not very knowledgeable. Weve been here for a year and still have things that are yet to be fixed. Our rent was increased but yet the service has gotten worse. The pool is NEVER open and almost everyday maintenance guys are quiting left and right. Rats have been found in other apartments. AC has been leaking since day 1 and they come in patch it and clean with bleach but there has to be MOLD by now. Now theyre very strick on parking and weve all been informed that it doesnt matter that you and your partner have 2 vehicles one or the other CANNOT park in visitors for more than 3 days!!!!This was never in the leasing aggrement. For $780 they can have this place...my family and I refuse to live here another month.

Worst apartments EVER! If you are looking for apartments, DO NOT and I mean DO NOT MOVE TO MIRA LAGOS! The apartments are in bad shape, and when you ask for maintenance to come fix it, they either dont come, or do a poor job in fixing it. The entire complex is infested with rats, and the office claims they cant do anything about it. The pool and park is closed, and guest parking an towing is outrageous.

Its incredible that Ive been drawing water from my kitchen for 3 weeks now and they cant fix the pipes. This is too much!! With so much money they charge they cannot hire a plumber, they do not take anyone seriously when help is needed.

I was in the office and I talked to Julia the manager, because I needed to know about my return of the deposit, since I moved on November 30 and did not know anything about it, Julia explains to me that they changed to wanda and when she realizes she realizes that I did not They are going to return the deposit and I owe 30 dollars, so I ask why they did not notify me that I owed that money and I explain that I want to pay that account, because I did not know that I owed that money, she and her assistant tell me that I hope she comes out in credit karma, that is nonsense, lack of knowledge of her work, because although she is new, she has to answer and explain where to pay and what collection company I have to pay her, not give me a meaningless explanation, besides the If the previous manager is not there, the company is still the same, it is very unfair that they send me to collection for something that I do not know, much less that they have not notified me anything in writing, if I do not go to that place I do not hubie Aware, but the lack of professionalism and knowledge of their work, only give answers justifying the wrong done, when they should solve the problems do not justify, the clients do not care about their internal problems, they continue to be disgusted in their work, they need to learn many things and especially corporate identity so that they learn to identify with their company.

I have been living in Mira Lagos for a year and whenever I go to the office, the office staff always receives me with a good attitude, professionally and always responsible with their work.

It is bad service,, it is always the same when something is damaged, it takes days to fix it, even weeks,, I had to rent air conditioners because they did not fix my AC,, I do not recommend these apartments are pessimistic.

I live here 6 years ago, it is a pleasant place where we felt safe, there is no person, security is excellent, a quiet place and the apartment is cozy, the office equipment is excellent, the attention they give us is very efficient and Maintenance is very effective, I am very happy we have never had any problems since they are always willing to improve and attend to all our needs thus giving us the confidence to continue in said apartment many more years, thanks Miralagos team, I RECOMMEND it

The help service is lousy they dont fix anything about the apartments you get something damaged you have to be 3 months or 5 so they can attend you I have been broken for 6 months with the air conditioner and they dont fix it my apartment is Immaculate but thanks to I buy things myself and I manage because the meine here does not serve the handyman they have I dont know why but they have changed like 15 different people from handyman the service is lousy the lake is awful full of crap crap we pay to have a pool which pool does not work when they charge us for everything if I spend the day 3 of the month without paying the rent they charge me $ 100 fine for anything they are 75 dollars but however you can damage something and it can be months and months your claiming for you to get ready nobody arrives and you cant stand the money if you hold the money from day 3 to get things fixed you get a $ 100 fine my brother has been waiting a month for me and uncover the sink my brother is now mopping in the bathtub where the bathrooms are bathing, charms are falling, the tiles of the bathrooms are falling, this is in case of someone from that Mira Lake agency because the truth is that we pay to have a good service which there is no need for the owners of this agency to appear on this site to see what happens
