I cant say enough positive things about the staff and management here. Prompt to respond and fix issues and very polite. Craig went out of his way to call me when an apartment became available. We were moving from another state and the convenience of the location and school were perfect.
I’ve lived in Champions Walk Apartments for over 3 years now & they have always gone above and beyond for me.Latoya and Dara both go the extra mile to make I’m comfortable and happy with my living conditions. The best treatment I’ve ever experienced - from the moment I moved in.I really love where I live.
Great maintenance teamTheir greatest is Joey!!He is the best. Definitely well taken care of community and would recommend any one of my family to live hereBest place to live in bradenton
Lived here 2yrs with no major issues. I have been more than happy here. The rent is priced a bit high for the area. Great floor plans and friendly staff that offer swift help. Power outages are a monthly occurrence, AC goes out a few times a year. Non-remodeled units get very little attention before move-in so if you can spring for the remodeled units, definitely recommend it. Otherwise you will move into an apartment with a painted bathtub like I did, which started peeling after 6mos. Every building reeks of cheap weed. Residents drive 40mph in the parking lot so be mindful of your safety here. Lots of entitled rich kids going to IMG and northerners with no grasp on spatial awareness. Food delivery is a nightmare here due to the gate and the maze like building layout. So if youre looking for a place to stay it will get the job done. Its not really too close or too far from anywhere and the Cortez road traffic kinda sucks. But its been home the last two years and its been okay.
I have lived here for 6 years and love the location the people and the amenities. Close to beach kayaking just next to IMG academy and minutes from Anna Marie Island.
Might right my review later down the road because I’m trying to have hope for this place but it’s been a few months and I’m already getting red flags. I have a lot to say. Also place is over priced. Rent has to many additional fees. Way to many. So watch out for that people.
I wanted to take a moment to say Thank you to Mr. Frank my son recently relocated from Houston Texas to Bradenton Florida and has been searching for an apartment close to his work. Being a concerned mother and trying to assist hundreds of miles away was rather tough. Frank gave us his undivided attention. He was patient, knowledgeable and provided impeccable customer service. Good customer service is very hard to come by and when you see it it needs to be recognized thank you again Frank. Jessica Scott Evans
I have lived here for a little over a month now, very nice place. Office staff and maintenance are very nice and prompt with requests. Complex is very quiet and clean. One of the nicer places I have lived.
I moved here about 5 months ago and I love it. And I am not easy to please :). The staff is great and Elizabeth has been fantastic every step of the way -from tours to move in and beyond. Any maintenance issues have been resolved quickly and those guys are great as well. I love the amenities and location. It’s the first place I’ve lived with 24 hour access to the gym and game room areas. They even have bikes to rent here! The location is beautiful and makes for great sunsets! Spacious apartments with lots of storage. Highly recommend:)
This place could be great but it lacks!!! Nothing is open at the same time... On top of that emails that they send you never come to let you know if something is down. Gym still is closed down because people don’t wipe down equipment. So we get a vague answer “soon”....... The grill area is nice... to bad the grills never work... The pool is extremely beautiful but us adults get treated as children with no swimming after the office personal leave. They can’t watch us is what we’re told.... We pay a lot of money to live her 1k to 2k a month. EVERYTHING should be taken care of! Just my opinion .....
Ive lived here for a year now & am very happy here. location is perfect. staff has been very helpful. any problems have been taken care on timely basis. maintenance crew are the best. I highly recommend anyone looking for new place to check champions walk.
Elizabeth did an amazing job to help me renewing my rental agreement along with the furniture lease. She is very nice and always does her best for me. Also her response is very quick every time when I asked her questions.
Stayed here 4 years ago, always paid on time and in full....just got a call from a debt collector saying I breached contract and owe them 2 grand? From what I recall no such thing happened. Dont stay here they will call you 4 years later about some random contract breach. Im going to be reporting it to the better business bureau. They even sent a contract I supposedly signed that didnt even have my legal name or signature...could they have accidentally got my info mixed up with another person with a similar name? The investigation from the better business bureau should find out. I remember staying here was dreadful. I normally wont post reviews but they deserve this. AC took forever to get fixed, the front trash compactor was always overflowing, no where to put your trash.STAY AWAY one of the worst places i have ever lived.
Such a beautiful complex! I found the entire staff to be exceedingly helpful! The maintenance men are top notch. The office staff is friendly and efficient! My building had the best neighbors anyone could ever want! Helpful, kind and friendly. Some will be life long friends!
I love the ambience and scenic beauty of this apartment. Staffs are so friendly and maintenance issues are addressed at the earliest. I admire the natural surroundings and living a peaceful, happy life. 💝
Renters Beware! After five pest control maintenance visits, lining pipes with insect repellent foam, replacement of a refrigerator, multiple emails to office management, photos, phone calls, and countless front office visits, I have been living with a gnat infestation for over five months. Yes, these gnats find their way inside your refrigerator. My apartment is immaculate as it is my second place of residence. Today’s fridge gnat count in is 32! Dara, the office manager who takes 8hr lunch breaks, is never available! If you’re looking for a place that is responsible, reasonable, clean with proper refrigeration, then Champions Walk is not the place!
I have lived here since the Summer of 2017 and love it. The Community Manager, the Office Staff, and the Maintenance Crew are friendly, prompt, and very proactive. Since I have lived here the tennis courts have been resurfaced and re-fenced, there is now a 24-hour coded locker system to receive packages from shippers, available bicycles to ride, and the list goes on. I have also found it very easy to meet and chat with neighbors. Each building has a master-meter regarding water. However, invoices allocate the number of occupants in each unit; so that is fair. The outdoor stairway handrails could probably be wiped down a bit more often. But, even this is merely the result of stairwells being outdoors in a breezeway in breezy Florida. Five Stars! Five Stars!
The new management is really turning this complex around. When I first moved in I would have rated it a 3 maybe a 4 star apartment. But now they are really paying attention to details at Champions walk. The price is very reasonable, and you are super close to the beach. The other great thing about this complex is that your not on a busy road and never have to deal with beach traffic.
This apartment complex is terrible! The property managers don’t care at all and you always will be overcharged here. Biggest regret living here.
I leaved here with my family more then a year, but this is the worst place to leave, the management lie about most of the stuff, take forever to fix the issues if they fix it!The managment is just ridiculous, just a suggestion if someone think about to mave in this place, dont even think about that this is the most ridiculous place I ever leaved!
I adore this place, the staff is hands down the best I have experienced and their upgrades are beautiful! Highly recommend. I won’t be leaving anytime soon!
I would have given Champions Walk 5 stars but the only thing I have a problem with is they are to expensive maybe its just me because i live off disability but other than that I love the staff they are very helpful and kind also stores are easy and nearby to get to
Mixed feelings about champions walk. The gates break down all the time. Its not what I would call a safe gated community. We have received emails about cars getting broke into. The trash is always all over the front. Not very appealing and the smell is not great either. The pool was closed for about 4 weeks in the summer. They come out to fix issues prompt but just put bandaids on everything. A/C BREAKS DOWN monthly. Turned in Rent on time but because the office didnt process the payment then and there it was late and had to pay 200 bucks for one day of late rent.
We are very happy to have chosen Champion Walk apartments. The staff is excellent from the first day, and the apartments are very spacious and bright.I recommend this condo for being very comfortable, beautiful, and with a very attentive staff.
STAY AWAY!!I wish I could say good things about this place... But I should start with the most important part first. As a business they ARE DISHONEST and will tell you one thing and so another. Its its disappointing what theyve done in my case.
I love the amenities (gym/pool area) and the staff is great.
Beautiful apartment complex. The front office and maintenance staff are very helpful. Ive lived here now over a year and anything Ive had a problem with, even in the smallest, theyve handled without issue. The community is very well kept and the proximity to the beach is great. I would most definitely recommend it.
I am horrified with my last impresssion of this place. DON’T MOVE HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CREDIT!Received letter in mail stating we owed $200+ for damages after we moved out, paid them with in a few days of receiving the notice. A month later received a second notice that if we don’t pay it will be sent to collections. So, showed up to Champions Walk, lady in the office said everything was fine and it shows we paid. What do ya know, it’s now on my credit showing that we never paid. This place is a nightmare and not worth your money, time or credit. Sketchy residence living next to you, black dot algae in the pool. Yeah, look elsewhere! Dump.
Started out as a great place to live and then went downhill from there there. Once summer started, people started coming in to the pool area from the streets. No security, so they just took over the pool area. Cant wait till our lease is up!
My family and I lived there for over 2 years and it started out as a good experience that just got worse and worse as time passed. I think it all start at the top and the management office at Champions Walk had more people working there in my time than I can count. They really arent concerned with tenants issues. There was a day that a water pipe busted and most if not all of the community had no water for about 36 hours. This was extremely inconvenient as we had a newborn baby but understand that things happen and its not like they wanted a pipe to bust and cut off water to all their units. That being said there was never any kind of acknowledgment afterwards of it. No we apologize for the inconvenience this must have caused we want to do this or that to show our tenants that we do care. Being understanding is a one way street with them as they want tenants to be understanding to their screw ups but they will not be understanding to anything a renter brings to them. The trash is terrible. Absolutely terrible. I cant stress this enough. The trash backs up regularly with dozens and dozens of trash bags being piled up outside of the trash bin causing the whole area to smell horribly. Seriously this trash situation alone is enough for me to tell anyone not to live here. It is absolutely unacceptable to me that we paid $1,300 a month and that was a routine happening. Trash is directly across from the mail boxes so it isnt even an area that can be avoided.Dont be fooled by the gate out front anyone who wants to come in does. And the pool area can be accessed by anyone whether they live there or not as all they have to do is reach over the gate and hit the button to get in so thats what people would do.Maintenance is mediocre. They usually get to an issue that you ask about in 3 or 4 days. Sometimes they fix it sometimes they dont. I guess they could be worse but they certainly could be better. On our way out of the apartments they were asking us why we were still in there a day or two before our lease was up. I did not understand this at all. And after 2+ years living there and asking them many times to clean the carpets for example which they said we were entitled to free of charge once a year though they never once came and did it I was shocked that they said they were keeping my deposit and wanted me to pay above and beyond for cleaning they deemed to be excessive. We did not leave the place in bad shape at all and there is going to be wear and tear and of course when I tried to talk to them about this ultimately they said they did not make a mistake in the charges and I can pay or it will be sent to collections. Again with the one way street of understanding they would not even talk to me they said if I have a problem with this that their attorneys will be talking to me and not them. Unreal. After all the things they did and we let it go and this is how they treat us on our way out. Management is a bunch of bullies there. It doesnt happen overnight but management is going to run this place into the ground. I guarantee in ten years it is a joke of a community because it is already well on its way.I could go on and on with issues but I believe my point has been made. Unless they drop their rates significantly to be on the level of what they offer go live elsewhere. We are very happy in our new place and laugh in disbelief when we realize how long we actually lived at Champions Walk.
1.Champions walk is the worse apartment community that you could live. Let me start off by saying that the model that they show is completely different from half of the apartments that they have available and you won’t know until you get your keys to move in.2. Instead of replacing or fixing anything like for an example, my tub! Was spray painted so when it began to peel they didn’t come to fix it.3. They don’t care about their residents that live their, well at least the Black ones per say. They tried to find every reason to kick me out! Their excuse was that I had an unoccupied dog that was staying with me, after trying to provide the paper work stating that my puppy was a service dog for my daughter who has heart/health issues the community manager DARA refused to take the proof which was my paper work!4. The building I was in on the second floor was horrible, first off let me start by saying that I’m not judge mental but with the people who stayed above me they stomped like freaking elephants constantly! After so many complaints I’ve made to the office they still didn’t put in the effort to do anything. Try seeing UNDERAGE kids sneaking beer and drugs up to their apartment constantly and management not caring about it because they have wealthy families. Not to mention how drug infested that building is yet nothing’s being done about it.5. It’s ridiculous how management is ran there, but I will be looking to seek a lawsuit. Also forgot to mention the deadly oder in the walls. Yea save your money people.
Worst place in Florida to live.Rats, cockroachs, fleas, sand fleas just horrible. You have to wait weeks for someone to show up to repair the old rundown appliances. The maintenance people are far from qualified to make most repairs and lie about everything. Word of advice when dealing with them RECORD EVERYTHING to protect yourself. They are that bad. Everything they fix fails normally within a day or two. Your better off fixing things yourself. The people in the office dont do what they promise and never get back to you. The garages leak and are full of black mold. You get sick when you spend more then a few minutes inside them and what you store in them will get ruined. Im not staying here any longer, contacting an attorney for damages and terminating the lease.THINK GOOD AND HARD BEFORE MOVING INTO A DUMP LIKE THIS PLACE.
Although situated in quite a nice location of Bradenton, with many amenities about, there are undesirable elements moving into Champions Walk Apartments. There have been a rash of car burgularies recently and one can witness late night exchanges that are less than legal - particularly around the pool and tennis court. Just last summer they had a series of storage break ins close to the IMG gate. The apartment complex absolved themselves of any culpability due to a clause in their contract with tenants - which basically details that they are not responsible for your personal effects or property loss. Disgusting. The current manager and staff that are there are completely incompetent. They are so far removed from anything that goes on around the property that it is almost laughable. Despite the front gates to the community being closed, other visitors and tenants have been witnessed to slowly ram the gates to force them open. There is NO ACCOUNTABILITY. The amount of shady stuff going on around the community is unacceptable - why they have not fired the current manager and staff is puzzling. What needs to happen is the following: tenants meet regularly to hold the staff members accountable for problems in the community. Furthermore, residents need to communicate more directly with their headquarters in order to circumvent the local office information trap.In summary, my recommendation is to not move there. Their prices are incredibly inflated for the level of service that they provide. Additionally, elements that are moving into the community are not what a normal person would want to be surrounded by. Spend a bit more money to go somewhere with a real gate guard that does not let in riffraff and other punks who come in to bring down the community standards.
We didnt know what to expect moving into a new place. We needed an apt for a few months while our house was being built. We live in Bldg 16, across from the Tennis Courts. We have found it to be very quiet even though there are 3 families around us. All the office managers are very helpful (Brittany, Nancy, Norm and Sheila). We have found that any time we put in a Maintenance request, it is honored within 23 - 48 hours and done correctly. They come in twice a month to spray for bugs, but we have found none. Its a shame to see others dis the Community with a few bad reviews.
This is the second time I have lived in this complex. I lived here in 2000. I enjoy the place, the staff is very helpful. I live across from the office and entrance so it gets noisy sometimes but it does not bother me.
Service people fixed my a/c right away, in a holiday weekend after hours, it was burned big time and got it right. They are very good at getting their calls and issues fast, very happy with the service.Thank you. very professional.
Rented a three bedroom here for almost two years and broke lease because of living conditions. These apartments are not properly insulated and the maintenance is null. When your apartment is reading 85 degrees and the weather outside is 100 degrees..your AC blows warm air 8am to 10pm...something is wrong! Break your lease and file suit for terrible living conditions. Very dated apartments with the front office okay with people selling drugs openly in front of the office after 6pm...
Do not move in here! Save yourself the headache! Unsafe for your family and your personal property. Every vehicle I own including our work trailer has been damaged, the trailer had $900 worth of damage and the management didnt care, they rold me residents park in here atvtheir own risk so its not their problem. Ive had my life threatened by same neighbors numerous times and a charcoal grill lit directly under my front door a few times, naked people getting changed in cars in the parking lot. Dog feces and litter everywhere. I listen to and feel extremely loud bass music from one of my neighbors which shakes my apartment all day and evening long every weekend and 3 out of 5 weekday evenings and the office could care less, they told me to call the cops rather than providing a professional solution like a phone call or letter to other resident. Rude, grossly unprofessional office staff who cant be bothered with any resident concerns but collect rent like clockwork every month. Maintenance leaves things half fixed or incorrectly fixed if they ever show up at all. My staircase has been broken since November 4th and its the ONLY way my family can access our apartment. Garbage constantly overflowing, gates are often broken and the entire complex isnt fenced. Too many cons to keep listing, not really any pros except they spend a lot of money on pretty flowers in the entrance and office area.
Beautiful property! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming!!
The office staff is rude. And during the annual maintenance inspections the company that did them enter my home with my under age daughter home alone.
Nice apartment and grounds. Management leaves a lot to be desired. Expensive.
Do not move in!!!!! These descriptions describe whats coming and not there yet.....They cater to the IMG students (they are everywhere, banging and bumping balls) rest of residents go lacking. Bugs are an issue, they will tow your car, rent late fees are added at blink of eye and drug deals are done at night in front of office. No security and they think gates are going to make it better.
Very nice
