Absolutely loved living here. First apartment out of college and first time in Boulder. They set us up good. Since lived in numerous apartments and no management team can hold a candle to Coronado. They were always accommodating and a delight to be around. Loved it!

My friend and I were very excited to move into Coronado for the start of our year at CU Boulder. I should begin by saying our lease has since been cancelled. My friend and I met with Mary back in May to view a 2 bedroom apartment. She showed us a beautiful apartment with PLENTY of light on the 3rd floor. Our only preferences were above the 1st floor, and an apartment with adequate lighting as we both do not do well in a dimly lit space. Mary ASSURED us over and over and over that our preferences would be met, even writing them in our file as we sat there.Well, 2 months later after signing our lease we discovered that we are in a first floor apartment that is half way underground, and the bedrooms are about as light as a cave. After trying to contact Mary on several occasions, she FINALLY called me and her excuse was that she “doesn’t remember the conversation” when discussing our preferences. So what was she writing in our file? We have no idea. There is nothing Mary can do now and only says that she doesn’t remember. Our lease is now cancelled and I can say my experience at Coronado was horrible. All in all, Coronado Apartments is a complete bait and switch. I would give Coronado 0 stars if i were able to.

This is the second time I have leased in this complex and the new property management group is awesome! I had a few issues with the previous management so I was very glad when the management switched. This new group and manager is much more professional and responsive! They promptly address maintenance issues and are easy to communicate with. Not to mention, I love my apartment!

I would give them zero stars if I could. I’ve had problems with them since the day I moved in. I was given a quote for rent by the staff and then went to apply and it was higher than what I was told. I asked why this happened and was not given an answer but told that they would waive my Move in fees to make up for it which they never did. Move in day comes and there are multiple things broken in the apartment; shower, stove, and sink. The washer and dryers are consistently broken and not fixed in a timely manner so sometimes there are only 2 working for the whole complex. There have been multiple times where someone else has parked in my assigned spot and all they can tell you is we will put a warning sticker on the car. They have even put a warning sticker on my car when it was in my assigned spot. They then did not respond to multiple calls or emails about the sticker. There have been water and heat issues more than once in the last 6 months. They charged me an extra $420 for the month of December and have given no reason or explanation. They have also started to charge and extra $60 for my future rent without explanation. You can find much nicer apartments in boulder for the same price without all the problems this complex causes.

First off, the stairs here are metal and attached to the building. If you live anywhere near the stairs, youll feel the vibrations as people walk up and down them. Strong enough to wake you up at night. This was extremely disruptive to my ability to sleep and, overall, my own well being. You need to be careful of your possessions if you live here. The building is located in an unsafe area, and I have heard multiple accounts of residents belongings being stolen. You must take care to keep everything out of sight and locked away.

I have always loved Coronado. I love it for the beautiful landscaping, the friendly staff that are pretty much like extended family, and the really nice location. With new management came changes, to be expected. good changes. The maintenance guys have fixed several things that werent fixed by old maintenance, including a leaking tub/faucet and very broken garbage disposal. The landscaping always looks well kept and tended to. New staff is friendly, helpful, and will do what they can to help.We love it here and wont move unless we plan to go back to Saginaw!

I have had multiple emails go unanswered. I have weird charges on my rent bill that they wont answer for or remove? The new maintenance is much better than the old guy Nick, but the front desk doesnt remember anything I ask them about. The washer and dryers are constantly broken, malfunctioning, and very expensive to use. These are also very old units which have not been well maintained, and are honestly a rip off. If they would just actually respond to basic questions that would actually be a massive improvement. Oh, and the heat and water have been shut off a lot this year for maintenance. Again, old complex, little upkeep.Man, I thought the previous management was bad. These ones are even worse and on top of it rude. At least the creepy maintenance guy Nick is gone and the new groundskeeper is very friendly and efficient.

Pros: Good location. Close to multiple bus routes and 36.Cons: Management does not respond to calls/emails promptly or, in most cases, at all. I recommend checking your rent invoice every month, since management will often charge you incorrectly or place fees with no explanation or notification.Overall, I wouldn’t recommend living here.

Maintenance is great. Fixed my heat over night. Office helps in evyway possible. Randy is a cool guy and easy to talk to about problems, Cobly is great too and has helped me out of things as small as opening the laundry room door to opening my apartment door after hours after leaving my key at gym. Great people and recommend highly

This will be a long review, because I think its important that people understand the details before considering moving here. Tl;dr at the end if youd like.I lived at Coronado for 2 years. First, Ill talk about the apartment itself. Then my experience with management. The apartment was clean and affordable. My unit received plenty of natural light, because it was roughly south-facing. My main issue with the apartment was noise. Traffic on Table Mesa is loud, but youll probably get used to it. However, the buildings are old, so you WILL hear people walking around above you. The floor creaks as you walk around, and as your neighbors above walk around. Its not really a sound you can get used to. The layout of the building is similar to a motel: some common staircases leading to outdoor walkways between front doors. I dont know all the layouts, but my bedroom was right along one of these walkways. You WILL hear people walking by your unit at night while youre trying to sleep. Much worse if youre near a staircase - I was consistently jolted awake when people simply moved up/down the nearby staircase, because their footsteps vibrated my room.Machines in the laundry room were often out-of-order, but in general I thought the maintenance team was great. Now onto the management company - I really hope people consider the management team before they decide to move here. Simply put, you will not get your security deposit back. My deposit was $500, Im not sure if that has changed. The minimum cleaning charges upon move-out will quite literally come to a higher total than your security deposit, so you will end up owing money to management. For example, I was charged $300 for touch-up paint repairs. Im attaching pictures that were provided by management for justification of this charge. Judge for yourself: do these damages require ~10 gallons of paint to repair? It is a ridiculous money grab from management.I did not recognize the potential for these excessive charges when I signed the lease. My bad - I should have read the lease more carefully. However, the story does not end there.Coronado management claims that they sent me bills in the mail to recover my debt. I did not receive them, and I confirmed they had my correct address. But sure enough, the debt collection agency that Coronado eventually retained had my correct address. Then, when I contacted Coronado to inquire about the charges and request the pictures that are attached here, I was repeatedly rebuffed. My emails frequently went unanswered, and I was repeatedly told well get back to you later today etc. with no follow-up. It took weeks. Please dont move here. There are better options in Boulder. I know, Ive lived in several places at this point.Tl;dr: The apartment is noisy to the point of disrupting sleep, and the management group is unresponsive and will take your entire security deposit.

This place is awful they will find any little excuse to fine you and demand a fee for anything and everything and a few of the residents are incredibly nosie and rude. They take ages to respond to emails and even if you call or walk into the leasing office the odds of them being there during their supposed office hours is slim to none.

I have had a great experience so far living here. You can tell they really care about their service (little things like giving little bags of candy at halloween or putting a little sign on the door to let you know maintenance was there). The building is well maintained and the community seems friendly here but on the quiet side. Ive lived in many apartments and have had quite a few unsavory landlord/ management company experiences, this has been my best apartment living experience to date!

When I moved in I couldnt believe how clean the apartment was. They do maintain the buildings fairly well and keep everything working. The office does seem quite particular about their endless list of rules but, overall this has been a positive experience.

Weve had a great experience living here. The apartments are very clean, and spacious. Well maintained and the staff will get a new appliance if you need it. The office staff have always been helpful and nice. We are college students, and there are other college students in the apartments, a decent mix of people. Weve met some great friends here. And yes they are concerned with sound, but as long as youre not ridiculously loud it should be fine, we would play loud music and you could surprisingly never hear it outside. So I think its pretty sound proof and just check in on youre sound youll be fine. place all around though, close to trails and highway. Probably the best deal youll find in boulder.

Frank and Eddie have helped me out big time. Ive lived here for several years now and previous grounds guys and maintenance guys were not great to say the least, but these guys get things done! They alone are reason enought to live here The office staff is very nice and goes out of their wat to help and seem to really care. The previous girls were great in the office as well and Im glad to see a continuance of the great attitudes and customer service mindsets.YOu wont regret renting here if you do!

I have lived in Coronado for 2 years and I love it here. There is a major sense of community and the staff obviously care about you. They are always professional but take the time to send care packages at move-in and during the holidays. When we had some troubles with the internest the office was persistant in getting us the best results they could. Maintenance is always timely and efficient and the grounds are well kept up and colorful.

I lived her for three years (during grad school). It is a quiet, low key, smoke free community with unparalleled convenience! On several bus lines and bike trails, with easy access to shopping and restaurants and main streets (36 and Broadway). The bus to DIA picks up and drops off right outside our door. The office staff and maintenance are responsive and friendly. Internet is FREE and has worked well for my needs (improved in the past year they changed providers). You wont like it if youre looking for a college town party apartment, but if you want something quiet, convenient and at a good price (for Boulder), this will be a good fit.

The experience I had with the staff proved to me they do not care about you, only your money. They do not communicate within the company and no one know what’s going on except the boss, who isnt really helpful regardless. Don’t answer my questions, give me false information, and mislead me just to take my money. I would not recommend dealing with these sleezy people.

I lived here for three years and am very satisfied. The property is well-managed and meticulously maintained (landscaped, parking lot resurfaced, crumbly cement replaced, windows/walkways powerwashed). The buildings are on the older side so the floors creak a bit when your neighbors walk, and road noise from Table Mesa was sometimes audible, but nothing you dont experience in any other apartment complex. I appreciated the quieter, smoke-free community (I was a student and wanted nothing to do with the undergrad party culture). The management is really nice, and if you are respectful theyre pretty flexible . They respond to emails/maintenance requests immediately, and leave cookies/candy on your door on the holidays. The included wifi was occasionally spotty and frustrating, but overall a pretty good deal. The proximity of two different buses was a huge plus for students/non-car commuters. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, clean home.

DONT MOVE HERE, unless you are over 50 with children, and do nothing exciting. They allow no pets. The freeInternet is horrible to the point where you cant stream, play, or download anything from 5 to 10. They are constantly intruding into your apartment going as far as too bring in your mail if they want to inspect your apartment without telling you. The women who run the office are rude and inflexible, and they will charge you for extras such as carpet cleaning regardlless if you want it or not. The other tenants are rude and are all over 60 as well, so if you make any noise past quiet hours (yes there are enforced quiet hours for grown adults past 10. Even on the weekends.) They will call the apartment manager and you can be kicked out with no refunds. The absurdity of this is that the apts are so close and the walls are so thin, if you have 4 or 5 people over with no music playing just talking you can hear everything, and that is evidently your fault and they will treat you like a horrible criminal for that. ONCE AGAIN, Dont live here if you arent over 50, as they are unaccomodating and rude.
