Roberto & his team lovingly restored our 130 year old for floors. It was a difficult project (we initially hired another company who walked off the job within the first hour…) but Roberto was honest in providing us realistic expectations & creative in solving challenges as they arose. When we restore our downstairs floors, we will definitely be calling West Coast Floors again!

Roberto, Andre and Hellen provided a great quote and matched it with really excellent work. They restored our 40 year old oak floors and installed new oak to match where there had been old carpet before in three of the main areas. They feathered the new boards into the old and sanded and finished all with a natural finish, showing us a sample of the finish ahead of the installation. Its like a new house! Very hard working, happy personalities and a pleasure to work with. We couldnt be happier with the finished results! We highly recommend this team and company.

Based on all the great reviews, we hired Roberto to refinish a bedroom and to patch and stain holes where the cold air return used to be for the oil furnace. As we expected, the job was done to the highest quality. We were especially pleased with the workmanship in blending new boards into our 70+ year old hardwoods.But what I always am trying to glean from reviews is what the experience of working with the company was like. Many places do good work, but the best make the process smooth. This was our experience with Roberto and Hellen. We added to the scope of the job and they were quickly able to accommodate. We had a unique trim style to match. Roberto hunted it down. I recently installed about 600 sq ft of laminate flooring in the main floor of my house. I didn’t want to install laminate on the stairs leading up to the main floor, because laminate stairs are not very robust (and don’t look that great). Instead, I bought, cut, and fit unfinished white oak stair treads. My hope was that I could find a flooring company that could finish the treads to match the laminate. Enter West Coast Hardwoods. They were actually the 3rd hardwood company I worked with, because the first two couldn’t get anywhere close to a stain/finish that matched the laminate. West Coast Hardwoods on the other hand, nailed it! It’s almost a dead match, which is extremely difficult to pull off. I couldn’t be happier with out well it turned out.

We were extremely pleased with everything about their services. The team was pleasant, prompt, clean and very respectful at every turn. The floor looks amazing and they matched the current flooring very well.. Price was very reasonable as well. Dont hesitate.

I cant say enough good things about Roberto, Andre, and Hellen. West Coast Hardwoods was one of the best contractor experiences weve ever had. They replaced carpet and laminate with prefinished red oak hardwood in 1700 sq ft of our 1953 house over 20 days, and also did 2 small tile sections. There were lots of surprises with the old subfloor, but they fixed everything and we now have beautiful floors throughout. Their attention to detail is fantastic, and they are just nice people to work with. I highly recommend WC Hardwoods, and am very happy with the finished product.
