My child was over a year behind grade level in reading, and getting her to read at home was a nightmare. After just 6 weeks of tutoring, her confidence in reading increased tremendously. She now reads for pleasure without being asked. The Huntington team works hard to make tutoring a fun experience for the children. The monthly meetings are helpful to see how they are progressing. I also appreciate how flexible the center is with working with our summer schedule. It is very expensive, but worth investing in for our child!

I’m a high school junior attending Huntington for ACT prep, and as a result of the last 3 months I’ve spent here, I’ve improved my score by 6 points. The staff are wonderful and very friendly, and overall the environment is incredibly welcoming and warm. I highly recommend Huntington to anyone planning to prep for the ACT.

Our son is 6 years old and is receiving tutoring at Huntington to prepare him for first grade. As a result of Covid, we were concerned that he was not ready to go to first grade. He was struggling with his letters and learning to read. He expressed feeling bad when he couldn’t do what his friends could do. When we came to Huntington, he received a thorough evaluation from which a tutoring plan was developed. After 3 weeks, he is reading Bob’s books and is thrilled with his progress. He is so proud of himself. We would highly recommend this program. The individualized approach is effective and personalized.

Last summer I enrolled in an ACT prep course at the Huntington Learning Center in Bothell. My goal was to improve my ACT score as much as possible. I worked with a variety of teachers, twice a week, for two hours at a time. For the Science and Reading section, the teachers helped me pick and choose different types of strategies for each question. For the English section, they helped give me a better understanding of grammar and punctuation which I had always struggled with. Because Math was already a strength they helped me review content so that it was fresh in my mind. Because of the course I was able to raise my score 8 points. I wouldnt have been able to raise my score this dramatically without their help.

My son is going into 9th grade and because of all the time doing remote learning, we decided that he needed some help in Math. He has really enjoyed his time there and the lessons have helped him learn the stuff he couldnt remember how to do. Overall, this has been an extremely helpful program for him. His tutors have helped him so much and everyone there is amazing!

Huntington Bothell has been working with my daughter on math for the last 4 months. Since starting I have noticed an increase in her confidence in the subject, and she is eager to tell me about new concepts she has learned. Communication on her progress has been excellent and we have been very happy with our experience at Huntington Bothell.

I am a current high school junior and have been attending ACT prep sessions at Huntington Bothell. I just received a 35 on my April test, an 8 point increase since I first took a practice test, and am so grateful to the Huntington team. I loved working with Lisa and Jessica and learned so much about both test content and helpful ACT test-taking strategies. The Huntington staff is very encouraging and communicative, adapting to my busy schedule and making sure my parents are caught up with my progress. My younger sister will be starting her ACT prep with Huntington next week!

Both our kids have been taking classes from Huntington learning center at Bothell. My Older one is currently a junior and she has been taking tutoring for SAT/ACT. Till now they have shown complete professionalism. The staff and tutors are extremely helpful and are ready to help students. They have lot of resources available for practice for ACT/SAT. My younger one is a 4th grader and is taking help for his English. Tutors are very nice and flexible . Curriculum for each student is tailor made to meet each students needs. I strongly recommend hunting ton @ Bothell.

We worked with Huntington Bothell center to help our child (junior) with her ACT preparation. I have not worked with any other such companies, so dont have a benchmark but in my experience, I found Huntington Bothell team to be professional, prompt with communicating, and overall a great resource for our daughter. She has not taken her ACT yet, but we have seen a tremendous improvement in her practice test scores between where she started and where she is at right now.

Our now, 6 year old has been going here since Sept. We needed extra support to help him get through Kindergarten. He recently was assessed to see if he was ready for first grade at a private school and he passed their test. Kuddo’s to Huntington for getting him ahead and helping him love to learn. He has grown so much since he has been here! We recommend this place to anyone who needs extra support in math, reading, phonics etc. We don’t know where we would be if we didn’t have Huntington:)

My daughter, a junior in high school, signed up for ACT test prep at Bothell Huntington. Then the covid pandemic hit. Huntington reacted and put remote learning into action. They kept us informed and my daughter started Zooming. The management staff was very responsive and accommodated schedules and changed instructors as required. My daughter had her actual test dates delayed, but eventually took 2 formal ACT tests. First test a 3 point improvement and second another 3 point improvement for a total of 6 points of improvement. Very successful, but need to ensure your child is dedicated to the process.

Huntington helped my daughter her ACT prep. They have very personalized plans and feedback to the student so that they can do their best. The have both been very accommodating with the ACT test dates with multiple cancellations due to COVID.

Hes been in the Huntington program for about a year now and has made up all the ground that he had lost. The staff is super a tentative to the kids needs, they practice safety and are really invested in the kidsis success. It is expensive but well worth it for us and they have payment plans to help.

Both of my kids attended classes here. The teachers and counselors here are very capable and were able to provide the necessary help and guidance to my kids. They kept me informed of my kids’ progress throughout. They were also able to adjust the class timings around my kids’ busy schedules. Overall, a great experience! We have recommended Huntington to a lot of our friends and will continue to do so.

My son Matthew came here for the ACT prep services and found it very helpful. Even with COVID, they were able to offer the tutoring via zoom and was very accommodating with the schedule changes when the ACT test centers were getting cancelled. Rebecca was also on top of the communication and was helpful in finding options and solutions to adapt with the constant changes of the ACT testing centers.

My daughter has learnt a lot from this center. She is now in her grade level standard. Teachers and staff here are very accommodating. The most important thing for me is, they work according to your individual childs need. Very grateful for what they do.

This center has many great programs which can be helpful to you. If you have problems at school or just want to excell academically, this center is the right choice. The teachers there are very friendly and supportive of your work, and make sure you understand the items. I have really seen improvement for myself, its definitely worth a try.

We started to have my nine-year-old little brother attend Huntington learning at the Bothell location just roughly 2 months after starting the 4th grade. We decided he only receive homework tutoring because he would be lacking that option that he normally gets at school; we didn’t want to overwhelm him. The Huntington team have been great with getting him familiarized with his online school page (canvas) and helping him keep up with homework assignments and getting them turned in. It’s been difficult in the to get him to focus on school work at home without feeling overwhelmed and stressed and english isnt our parents first language and im busy with my collage work that it become difficult to provide him with the help he really needed. However, Huntington Bothell team has created a really safe environment by having all kids and coming in wear masks (including teachers & Staff) as well as checking their temperatures and having them wash hands before beginning work! They have been working with him to build independent learning skills to try to do his homework by himself and really get on his homework page without hesitation. The team has also been great by being in contact with me as well as his school so we are aware of what he is struggling with and have offered further testing for anything that he still struggles with, which has been really helpful on us knowing where he stands in his learning and how he can improve.

My daughter has been going to Huntington Learning Center Bothell to increase her reading comprehension and study skills for 4 months now. From the moment we went for testing, her response has been in support of us taking her. She actually told us that she didn’t *want* to go, but that she knows it will help her.On the first couple of sessions she wondered if it was worth the money, but it had come so highly recommended by friends that we continued. Very quickly, we began to see the positive effects of it on her stress level and grades. She is both happier and more successful. We plan to be there for another 8 months and although it’s not inexpensive, it is very worth it.Highly recommended. We only wish we would have found it sooner.

I signed up for an ACT prep tutoring service, and it was very helpful. It helped improve my score, and the teaching by the tutors was very in depth. The amount of practice sets is great, and even through the Covid-19 Pandemic, they facilitated the sessions fantastically.

After interviewing several ACT prep services, we chose Huntington Learning Center in Bothell. We are very satisfied with their services. Their instructors especially Rebecca and Jin were very involved from day one in the teaching plan as well as keeping us abreast of the progress and concerns observed during the tutoring sessions. We believe our daughter has learned not only different strategies for being successful on the test but has also gained a fundamental refresh on the material. The have both been very thoughtful and accommodating with the multiple cancellations of the ACT test dates. We recommend their services and plan to use them again in the future.

We started bringing our son to Huntington a year and a half ago for tutoring in math. He was achieving below grade level and we were very concerned about him being able to keep up with the curriculum when he was struggling with foundational skills. Although we tried to help him with homework, we just werent able to teach him in a way that he could understand and retain. We brought him to Huntington for an assessment and they were able to determine where his skills had started to slide. He began tutoring and over the next year, he not only caught up to grade level but surpassed it! He is now getting an A in math. Having had such great success, weve subsequently brought our other children in for tutoring when they have struggled with a subject. Throughout our time at Huntington, the staff have all been phenomenal! They have a plan (and it works!) and they communicate with both the parent and the child every step of the way. It is an investment but when you see the results, it has been worth every penny. I highly recommend Huntington in Bothell to any parent who has a child that is struggling or looking to advance their skills.

We signed my fifth grade son up for Huntington in January prior to the Covid crisis. He spent a lot of time in the center working with the tutors. When we weren’t able to set any more they moved to a zoom platform. It has been wonderful! The staff have been wonderful! Overall we are very pleased with the value we are receiving from Huntington. We are so happy we had them through Covid so my son didn’t fall behind.

They have done wonders to help my 6 year old with her reading skills. She just wasnt getting it at all and was way behind standard and we were concerned about her continuing to fall further behind. She was really struggling and very frustrated. We werent able to get through to her and help her but the teachers here have done wonders and I have seen massive amounts of improvement in the few months weve been going here. She no longer shuts down when we ask her to try to read something and is actually excited by reading now and trying to read everything she sees!! I love it, well worth the price!

Huntington of Bothell was integral to getting my child ready for college. It’s a franchise known more for its ACT/SAT test prep programs, but has many other services: there are kids as young as 8 getting homework help, Zoom tutoring to explain inadequate school lessons, AP test prep and more. Rigorous COVID precautions. Owner Rebecca is passionate about helping families find workable solutions and positioning kids to succeed. Tutors are well-matched to students and have special strengths supporting ADHD and autism. I was super-cynical going in (only on the enthusiastic review by a colleague I trusted), but my child indeed gained 5 points on the ACT and valuable self-esteem besides. He actually looked forward to tutoring sessions! I felt respected and supported as a parent, with my options, my child’s strengths and deficits, likely outcomes of tutoring, and college contexts all discussed in as much detail as I needed. My budget and time were respected. Rebecca & staff were extraordinarily supportive of parents during the many 2020 ACT/SAT test cancellations, even phoning families to advise which testing locations still had availability! Don’t assume the franchises are the same - I live closer to two others but am sticking with Huntington of Bothell. Oh, and I checked out that “fruit” test-prep competitor: it’s much more expensive and far, far less individualized. Rebecca knows all of her “kids,” of all ages, and can create a program to help.

The staff were so patient and understanding with our daughter. Her self-confidence increased in her studies. Unexpectedly her interaction with other students showed positive growth. As she continued with Huntington she evolved into a stronger more independent confident kid. Huntington not only helps the child’s life improve but the family life improve as well. No more stress sessions trying to get our daughter to do her homework every evening. Huntington was one of the best investments we made not only for our daughter but for our family. We would recommend.

My daughter is training for ACT. She has joined Huntington about 6 weeks ago and we are already noticing a great improvement. She loves their tutoring and strategies they are teaching her. She gained lot of confidence and feels that she can achieve her desired score in one attempt after she completes all her sessions. We are glad we put her in Huntington. It takes so much stress away from us. I definitely recommend it to others. It is worth spending money. Staff is great. They worked with us to determine the most affordable program for us. I am very thankful for that.

I got an 1160 the first time I took the SAT (~24 ACT) and I got a 26 on the baseline ACT they had me take when I started the ACT prep course.On my official ACT, I got a 34 composite with a perfect score in 2 sections. I think for anyone who can afford it should do this. I’m sure that the cost of the course more than pays itself back in the new scholarships you’ll be eligible for.

FYI to all students and parents who PAY to take the practice SAT/ACT hosted by Huntington Learning Center, they will not provide your son or daughter the test results unless (and only) if you show up for their 2 hour sales pitch. Even if its not convenient for you to show up, they will not provide via email or elsewhere that is convenient for the customer. Buyer beware.

We love what Huntington! Our 10 year old has been attending Huntington Bothell for several months (currently remote learning) for Math. Huntington has gone above and beyond in my opinion for our child. It became such an emotional stuggle for us to get through daily work without a meltdown, Huntingtons program is a game changer! Within a few weeks we saw a great change in her confidence. The tutors are awesome, the directors are awesome. If you have a question or problem they really are hands on to work with your families needs to reach your educational goals. If you looking for great quality Tutoring and test prep, Huntington is definitley the place for your child!

My child had difficulty with English writing. We took him for the Huntington assessment and after joining Huntington his grades have improved, he has increased his confidence level and self-esteem. Huntington staff helped a lot by giving individual attention and continuous followups with parents about my sons progress. Cost is a factor but every penny is worth it. Im very satisfied with the progress and improvement in my child. I have two children and they have both been through the college prep programs at Huntington Learning Center in Bothell. My first child in 2017, took their 15 week SAT prep course and raised her score close to 400 points. My second child, is currently taking their ACT prep course and has already raised her score a full 7 points. (And she still has a few weeks of the program left!) I can not say enough great things about this program. Not only do they focus on mastering subject specific information, the test taking strategies they learn (time management, etc.) is invaluable. I highly recommend this program!

Our daughter was struggling in school and Huntington was able to help us identify what was holding her back. She lacked basic phonics skills that should have been built in the early grades. The staff at Huntington helped to identify this gap and then helped her to work through those skills and build that foundation to become a stronger reader. She will continue to build on that foundation throughout the summer to ensure she is keeping those skills and enhancing others. Our son is starting during the summer with a specific program based on areas he needs to strengthen. Huntington has made a big difference in how our child is able to succeed in school. Highly recommend this learning center because they build programs specific to your child not just one program for all.

My son has been attending Huntington for nearly 6 months now. We decided on enrolling him because he was having difficulty with homework. He wasnt necessarily falling severely behind but we felt he was struggling far more than necessary to stay on track. That being said, we have seen a strong improvement in his ability to do his homework independently as well as more confidence in his reading and math skills. Huntington is not cheap by any means but it provides results and is worth the costs for us.

Huntington learning Center has helped my daughter catch up with materials that they didnt learn in school. They enjoyed their time there and enjoyed the individual attention. I liked the frequent progress meetings. Education and development is priceless.

Having been a straight As student all of her life, this year my daughter has been struggling with calculus tremendously. I reached out to Huntington for help about 2 months ago. They have a busy schedule, but found creative ways to get her in right away. They recommended two hour sessions three times a week, which I am unable to afford. They have been patient with me and continue doing everything they can to help my daughter, even though I am unable to follow their exact recommendations. My daughter loves her tutor, and has been doing a little better in class, though has a long way to go.

The Huntington Learning Center is such a blessing. It is very personalized service and the everyone including the tutors care. It’s great; you won’t regret the decision to send your child there.

Mid-summer before my boys started 5th grade, we enrolled them in the Huntington program. Both boys struggled in math and reading and one was on an IEP. Initially both boys tested around a 3rd grade level in most areas. After about 8 weeks in the program both boys had improved nearly 1 full grade in some areas of the program. After another 6 weeks, one of my boys was nearly at 5th grade or higher in most areas and both tested in the high 90s in math at current grade level. The Huntington team has done more for my boys in the the last few months than their teachers have in the last few years. I highly recommend the Huntington program to anyone who has a struggling child.

Both my daughters have attended Huntington Learning Center in Bothell since they were in Elementary school. Over the years we have used Huntington Learning Center as needed and have never been dissapointed with the service and care they provide to each of our kids.My oldest daughter went from failing elementary math in 3rd grade to now an A student in High School. My youngest daughter took a break from being tutored for almost two years at Huntington - We recently re-enrolled her. In the last 3 months we are seeing marked improvements. She is now in middle school and we see her confidence grow with each session.Cost is always a factor but its worth every penny with the results that Huntington delivers to our kids and their academic future! The people are kind, understanding and flexible. It feels more like getting help from a friend or a parent than from a teacher, except unlike friends and parents they actually know what they are doing. Took my ACT score from a 29 to a 33, the program works if you follow it.

It was a great experience to have my 4th grade child summer tutored at Huntington learning center. He had a very hard time learning material in his 3rd grade class. Huntington testing him and saw that he had not retained anything at a 3rd Grade level, was at a 2nd grade level and he had very low confidence in his work. His third class and teacher has brought him down so much that he wouldnt even read aloud to the teachers at Huntington.Huntington sat down and gave us a full evaluation of his skills and told us exactly what they were going to tutor him on. We saw he needed help and Huntington gave it to him. He is progressed through all the lessons and is now right were is supposed to be academically. The lessons were taught in a way that my child could learn quickly and easily. Huntington teachs concepts and meanings behind the lesson and not just the lesson. This way the learning is better retained and the concept can be remembered much easier.He also has much more confidence and no longer throws fits about doing school related work. It was well worth the money. The teachers worked with him at his level and were super patient with him. The facility manager is also amazing she worked with us to make sure he could get enough classes before the school started and gave us finance options to help us out. I would highly recommend this facility if you child has any academic trouble.

Our daughter was struggling with reading which was impacting all of her subjects in school. Huntington took time to help us understand what she was missing and worked with her through her frustration to take her all the way back to phonics and build the skills she needed. Rebecca, one of the center directors has worked with us throughout our journey and has gone above and beyond to make sure that the work our daughter is doing helps her to progress.

Huntington did a great job in assessing my daughters needs. Nicole always has a positive attitude and has been excellent in communicating with my daughter and I. My daughters math scores have gone up!
