I had been putting off getting a hair cut for....longer than Id like to admit. Part of it is that I am a guy with long hair and am uncomfortable getting my hair cut due to an admittedly irrational fear that all my length is going to be cut off. Well at Sports Clips my stylist thought my concern was a little silly but did so by making it clear that doing something like that would be completely inappropriate and not something Id ever need to worry about at Sports Clips. She put me so at ease I ironically got more length cut than I planned, in order to get rid of a mass of split ends. After a shampoo and hot towel experience that was nearly biblical in its magnificence, I got a haircut I am extremely pleased with. Nothing fancy, but Im a long hair that doesnt want anything fancy. My time between hair cuts will be much shorter going forward. :-)

Great service, Im always in and out cuz I can sign in online. I just get basic haircut, but have gotten the face massages before which are really nice. Best thing is the staff are really good at sensing if you like small talk or not.

I went To get a haircut yesterday and they messed it up. I only asked to cut the sides and Tammy ended up cutting one of 4 inches of the top in just one side. The worst part is that she did not even mentioned or try to fix it. I noticed a couple of minutes after my haircut and they denied to give me a refund for such horrible mess up.

Sport clips haircuts is a great place for hair cuts n Etc. You get your shoulders and neck massage they got massage in chairs while you get your hair washed is a great place to go the staff is very professional and hard-working people they were great to get you in and out in a timely manner go sports clips

I go here all the time and today I used a different stylist. She didn’t cut my hair as asked she cut most of it off when I asked for a trim. Her clippers felt like the cane from the dollar store pulling my hair out instead of cutting and her scissors the same way. After she soaked my head with water she just allowed the water to run into my eyes blinding me from watching the football game during the cut. The chair you sit to get washed was to low I had to stretch my neck to fit where it needed to be and she didn’t even turn the massage on. The hot towel was wrapped around my head instead of on my face. It was a terrible experience I couldn’t wait to get out of there. This woman was clueless and I will not be using her again and maybe not sports clips again.

Amazing job once again! This is my 2nd time at the location and both times the team here has done a great job. I brought a friend along this time as well and he was also impressed. Definitely give this place a try.

The only good thing about this place was that, at the time I went in, there was no wait. Other than that, I got a horrible haircut, which I saw and pointed out there but it got worse when I saw the details at home. Even the head massage was a glorified rub. I pet my dog better. Id rather shave my head than go back there.

Literally the worst haircut I’ve ever had in my life. The lady that cut it was completely apathetic about the job she was doing, lazy, and just wanted to get it done and have me out the door in 5 minutes. The cut was so uneven I had to fix it myself in front of the mirror. The shop was dirty and disgusting. This is truly the lowest of the low end if you’re looking for a haircut... and I’m not picky! Stay away at ALL costs unless you want to come out looking like you’re homeless

After Haircuttery screwing me around on scheduling I walked into Sports Clips that was just down the strip mall and got my hair cut in less than 20 minutes, great service, fun conversation and a good cut. They have a new customer.

Ive had good and bad haircuts here. I like the products they sell. The theme and seating. I really like the VIP experience, but at the end if the day its expensive, they arent the best cuts, they are not great with beards. Ive left disappointed more than I have happy. Even when expressing upcoming important events like interviews, etc. Biggest problem with this place is the constant turnover of employees. Everytime you come back you have to start out with a new stylist and explain everything over again and hope for the best. Cherish if you see this hit ya boy up, Ill be going to vontiz cuts in carrol island for my hair cuts but if you came back I would as well. You did my beard real good.

First off the location is fairly clean & tidy. Not to much of a wait & the staff are very friendly. Now Ive been to other Sports Clips locations through out Maryland & Ive generally received the same experience. I go in for one thing & walk out with another. Im mixed so my hair texture is very fine & course yet curly. Ive had many barbers tell me my hair is very hard to cut. Knowing this every visit to SC I always warn them in advance that my hair is very hard to manage & that they must take their time or else it wont look good & I wont be happy. I even show them pictures of the (fade) hair cut that I want specifically. My last visit 2 weeks ago was more of the same. Granted the pay barber did ask me how it looked as we went & she even took her time. But my biggest issue is that these stylist never get shape ups or any of the usual stuff you get from a regular barbershop precise. Like the shape up isnt sharp or neat its pretty rough around the edges & they just seem to lack the care to get all the lines even & my stylist I dont remember her name didnt even use alcohol after she cut my hair, not even on my face! The basic treatments that you receive from a regular barbershop just are lacking. BUT, I did an initial review & I was contacted by someone higher up & they gave me a free haircut MVP style & a 20% off the following haircut. Which says a lot to me, they seem to care about peoples experiences & Im going to give them another shot. Ill make sure to let everyone know how it goes. 2/5 stars only because of my past experiences if it was just about the atmosphere & prices it would be a 4/5 for sure. Just make sure you bring a picture & exact about how you want your haircut if not they will do what they CAN do on your hair. Good luck.

My very 1st experience with Sport Clips is as follows;I brought my seven-year-old son to have his hair cut the evening before picture day at school the next day. I showed the hairdresser a very clear photo of his most recent haircut style, a faux hawk.I explained that was the haircut we wanted again. My son even told her he wanted a mohawk. Simple right? WRONG.I tried to intervene when I noticed it seemed like she wasnt executing the haircut we requested. I tried to redirect her the best I could before it was too late. It didnt seem to matter what I said or what I did, she seemed pretty hell-bent on cutting it the way she wanted.It looks like an abomination. FAR too short to be able to spike it in any manner except maybe the front bangs across the face. Which I told her explicitly I did NOT want that style and that he NEVER wears his hair that way.It is not a clean fade around the sides and the lines on the base of the neck are crooked. When his hair is down and just goes forward, it looks like he tried to cut it himself. Sadly thats how un-even it is.I was furious. Even my son was unhappy about it. Too bad the worst haircut hes ever received will be memorialized in his yearbook photo.Never again Sport Clips, Never again.-Upset Family

I took my son to get a hair cut today the styles was pleasant the hair cut was bad she call the manager over she had to help if she couldnt cut and didnt know what to do she should have said something worst hair cut ever my son dont even want to go outside. Smh I just wanted to get out of there.

The barbor I had I asked for a cissor cut and she gave me a buzz cut and when I ask her to fix it she gave me a rainbow hair line and uneven sides and did a terrible over all I hate the cut and will never be wasting my money there again.

I have taken my son to your location in middle river md many times and we were seen by the same stylist each time and had a wonderful experience each and every time. I took my son back this past Saturday to find out that our regular stylist no longer worked there and was disappointed but none the less my son still needed his haircut. We chose your business because my son didnt want to get his hair cut at the girls saloon as he says and I dont feel he is grown enough to go to the barber shop and has outgrown the kids hair cut place. He really enjoyed going to sports clips until this past Saturday. The lady Shirly who cut my sons hair should not be cutting hair as a professional. Before she began she looked at the computer and asked me if what the computer said is how I would like to get his hair cut this time I said yes. She began cutting his hair as requested I told her that it wasnt short enough and the stylist in the next chair over had to tell Shirly how to properly cut it so it was as I requested. Shirly began to cut as the stylist suggested. My sons hair was so chopped all up that the stylist offered to assist her in correcting my sons hair. I advised shirly that my son had a patch missing on the side of his head from her chopping his hair all up so she took the clippers and began shorting the hair on that side of his so it left one side of his hair way shorter than the other. Then Shirly got the clippers to trim and shape up my sons hair and my son yelled saying mommy she is hurting me she said sorry and said Im almost finished. I was so upset by the time she was finished that I just paid and left. My son has scratches on the back of his neck from where she was pressing too hard with the clippers and the clippers were apparently not that sharp because they didnt shape up his hair properly it was because they were being improperly used. Also the front of my sons hair line is really messed up it has two different hair lines now. When we got home my husband had to take my son the his barber shop to fix his hair they had to shave down his hair so it looked proper. I will never patron at your business ever again and for someone who is supposed to be professional to need help from another stylist to correct the mess she did on a customers hair is absolutely horrible and she should not be cutting hair. I have added a few photos of the mess she did to my sons hair and although it will grow back I will never subject my child to your business ever again.
