This is a beyond fantastic instructor! I was very lucky to train with none other than Master Hong. I highly recommend if you are looking for an athletic activity, for your children, family or yourself!

Have been going here for 3 months now. Master Hong is awesome and very dedicated. He motivates people and is very patient with students. He has back-to-back classes 6 days a week. He teaches students for hours without any break or any loss in energy levels! He has been part of Korean national demo team and is an elite martial artist with integrity. Lucky to be here.

This studio is really awesome to learn Taekwondo. Master Hong, he has a lot of experiences of teaching and has continuously been thinking about trainees who want to learn Taekwondo. He can make them focus on it and he is always on fire. There are some instructors who have got high levels, they are also gentle to kids. If you dont mind, go consult and see how they teach and how students learn. You will not be disappointed.

Of the (now) four Taekwondo instructors Ive had, Master Hong is by far the best. He meets students where they are but also pushes them to put in their maximum effort and not slack off. He teaches great technique (best technique teacher Ive had) and focuses on a lot more than just kicking the right way; hes also about encouraging discipline, respect, and a positive attitude. I appreciate that he sees students as whole people -- not just his students for however many hours a week, but also as students in school, children at home, parents at home, colleagues at work, and aims to help you improve not only in the Dojang but also in every other aspect of your life. Hes encouraging, fun, but also knows when to be stern. I really respect him.

Master Hong was my sons master for 5 years. Hes absolutely fabulous. His way with children is extraordinary; he somehow manages to instill discipline and respect, teach his students, and make it all fun. If you have the opportunity to be taught by him, I highly recommend you do so.

Master Hong is a fantastic Taekwondo instructor. He has taught our whole family - our son, daughter, my husband and me. In addition to teaching Taekwondo, he has been a mentor to my children, helping to teach them respect, self-confidence, leadership skills and self-determination.

Our 13 year old daughter had been a Tae Kwon Do student of Master Hong’s for 4 months when she sustained a spinal cord injury that left her paraplegic and in a wheelchair. Tae Kwon Do with Master Hong was one of the first things she asked about when she awoke in the hospital. We did not think she would be able to continue, but Master Hong created an adapted class for her and her best friend. Master Hong is an exceptional instructor with a magical ability to engage children and bring out their best selves. Beyond the skills of Tae Kwon Do, he teaches respect, self-discipline, and confidence. He is also a remarkable human being, going out of his way to make Tae Kwon Do possible for our daughter. He not only gave her back an activity that she loves, he gave her hope and the strength to believe in herself.

As a former student of Master Hong, I can easily confirm that he is not only one of the most amazing taekwondo masters in the world, but he is also an incredible person to know. Master Hong is kind and caring, humble, funny, and has a fantastic style of teaching that is easy to follow.
