We were driving to Boone for vacation when my brakes started to go out. He took my car when all other shops were full and fixed my brakes. He worked overnight just to have it ready the next morning. Also the price was really good and I would not have gotten a price like that in Raleigh. I had a great experience and would recommend him.

I was having humming issues with my car and they found the root of the problem(I was able to bring it in a little after they closed too). I had to drive a couple hours the next day and they were able to get it done. I will definitely be coming back if I have any problems again. Thank you thank you thank you.

I can heartily recommend Auto Nut for auto repair and maintenance. The owner is totally honest and very competent. Very reasonable service rates and excellent prices on tires. If youre tired of getting robbed on car service, give Auto Nut a try.

Charles fixed my 2009 Pontiac when it started skipping/misfiring at a very reasonable rate, and put new new rotors and break pads on my wifes car for another incredibly reasonable rate. Both have run very well since their service there.Hes very accommodating, and honest about whats wrong with your car and how much itll cost. He usually can get most things done pretty quickly too.

ILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY AGAIN....EVER !!! CAVEAT EMPTOR !! CAVEAT EMPTOR !!Because Ive used Auto Nut and owner Charles before with no problems, I stopped by the other day with a 1996 Honda Odyssey front hub and rotor assembly I needed pressed off due to years of rust causing the rotor to stick to the hub. This unit is called a captive rotor system that has the wheel bearing inside of the assembly, and its a difficult system at best to work on. But I have the Honda Shop Manual for my Odyssey van and it helps a great deal.I asked Charles if he had a press, telling him I wanted it pressed off, HE SAID YES !! but then took a brief look at my assembly, handed it to some guy he had working in a back bay...telling him to beat this rotor off. So before I knew it, this guy took a mini sledge hammer and just wailed on my rotor assembly with such force that it broke the rotor in two pieces, he continued to hit it from so many angles that I was afraid it was ruined. The whole action didnt take two mins. but when I picked it up, the wheel bearing, which was turning smooth as glass when I took it to Auto Nut, was messed up from this beating and now had a rough play it in, which effectively ruined it !! I was very unhappy with this, told Charles so, and his response was as follows: You cant press that thing off, you HAVE TO BEAT IT OFF...thats why they call them KNOCKOFF ROTORS but I never asked him to beat my rotor off he just took that upon his own self. Charles also told me that bearing was ruined when you brought it in here ( although no such thing was EVER said until AFTER this clown beat it all to pieces ) then Charles added you probably been beating on it for two weeks yerself and well...it aint my fault, we didnt do nothing wrong!!! This is a part which costs anywhere between $125-$200 to buy somewhere, if you can find one ! I asked Charles to help me with this, meaning I felt he should replace it for me, since his shop broke it but nooooooooooooo was his quick response saying you aint getting no help from me on that thing ! He so immediately started this this aint my fault rhetoric that I just finally drove away pissed off and madder than anything because I had just been CHEATED by a man who I had liked before. So my advice to you is this CAVEAT EMPTOR of the highest order before you get beatup too.
