I needed a timing job done and they were able to get me in and out within a week. Their prices are much better than other shops and dealers in Story County. When I needed new ball joints before I left for a trip the next day Mike got me in that day and made sure it was ready to go by the time I needed to leave. All the staff there is very friendly and knowledgeable. I will continue to bring my vehicle here any time I need something done.

We constantly move across country for work and dont spend much time in one place. We had vandalism to our aluminum truck hood. Tina worked with us and our not so lovely insurance to get us in and out quickly. We are super impressed with the perfect detailed work! Looks brand new and the paint is matched perfectly! I recently had an oil change and tire rotation done on my Ford Explorer. The technician, Tyler Davis was fantastic! Went through the inspection results checklist, and explained in detail an item I needed to be aware of, but didnt require immediate attention, wasnt a safety issue or could cause a breakdown. Really appreciate the thoroughness and attention to detail! Nothing I despise more, than a dealer pressuring you to fix it right it now! I recently I had a pretty disappointing experience when I went to Moffits Ford in Boone. I saw the truck posted online and went to take a look at it, and I really liked it. When I sat down to go over price I discovered the price listed online as $37,000, was incorrect and the list price was actually $42,300. The salesman explained it’s been happening a lot. I understand that technology isn’t always accurate, but it was online for 3 days like that. If that was an issue wouldn’t you think you would be checking every car that’s posted. They said they were sorry. Then I was showed their pricing program and how it was priced fairly. It also showed me they paid $36,000 for the truck I was interested in buying, and offered me $5,500 for my trade-in when the same program they used to show me their pricing was fair said, my truck was worth $7,800 to $10,800. Overall they planned on making $8,600 to $11,600 off me. There was no deal met because I was offered roughly $800 off for the entire deal. The two gentlemen I talked with were nice, but in the end it seemed as though they were more concerned with money than taking care of the customer.

Took my pick up there twice, they fixed a wiring problem both times. When it broke down the third time I took to my local ford garage, since it broke down at home. They found the whole wiring harness that was causing the problem. Moffitt ford replaced wires all around this area and they say they were not there. The harness was on the passenger side behind the fender well. Moffitt replaced one, they said on bill, behind passenger side quarter panel, and one under battery which is on passenger side. It is a 2009 ford f150, something they should know a little bit about.

Always have Tyler Davis in the Service department, work on our F350 and F250, Diagnosis the problem right away and gets it corrected. Great Service!

I was meet outside by Gary Swanson as I was looking at a vehicle, introduced himself as asked if he could show me anything. I showed him the one I wanted to tested drive, he went got the key and I was off on the road. When I came back I knew I wanted this 2015 Edge, all that was left was the paperwork which took no time, my husband was on the road so when they needed answers from him they gladly talked to him on the phone. It was time I was introduced to Andrew in finance and that process took no time. I left and within a hour was called back and told we were approved. If you need your vehicle serviced, make sure you take it here. I was having issues with my check engine light going off and coming back on over and over. I took it to Ames Ford Lincoln because it was closer and I regretted every minute of going there. They had no interest in being helpful whatsoever and they lied about the actual cause of the issue. Moffitts on the other hand was the complete opposite. The gentleman that I spoke to was Tyler and from my experience, he will take care of you and deserves to be commended for his outstanding customer service skills. I would recommend this location to anyone who wants quality care.

I am very appalled by the way this dealership does business. I had been talking to Brena on the phone about getting a vehicle. I told her up front that I had no money down and didnt want to drive an hour to waste my time or theirs. She said oh we can work with down payment. When I get here and they saw I was a black man the front desk person talked to me like she was in disgust to see me walking in, Brena acted weird, and the salesman Benji acted as if he didnt want me in their either. On top of that he has me go sit down and wait in the Lobby and then calls me back in to say the program requires 3 to 5k to do anything. Now mind you I had already said on the phone that I had no down payment and was told it would not be an issue. I drove an hour for nothing!!!!!! Thanks for Nothing!!! I will be sure and spread the word that WE are prob not welcomed here and that whats said on a call before hand is most likely a lie!

From start to finish, Moffits ford was again exceptional in customer service and helped get us one heck of a financing deal and all possible rebates.

If I could leave a negative rating, I would! We have an awning problem with our RV and our usual place cant see us until July. A google search brought up Moffits as an RV repair place, and the nice man on the phone said they could look at our RV tomorrow and have it done in a few days depending on parts. After looking at our awning, we were told They dont make parts for that awning anymore and so it had to be replaced for $2,000! We cant spend that right now, so we brought it home to decide how to rig it to get through another season. A simple Google search found the parts that arent made anymore for $30, INCLUDING RUSH SHIPPING. My husband installed the parts in less than half an hour, and the awning is good as new. We were charged $68 labor by Moffits to be LIED TO as they tried to bilk us for a new awning! Will never, ever provide them our business in any way, ever again.

My wife and I have been doing business with Moffitts for the last 24 years. Weve insisted on value from the sales department, and excellence from the service department, and they always deliver.

If you are not from the area, happen to be passing through, and *Holy Cow!*, you have a leaking radiator on your new Ford engine(can you spell W•A•R•R•A•N•T•Y work?), you would be better off to skip Moffits and just buy a case of coolant/antifreeze at the nearby Walmart, and keep on going. To anywhere. Not here.So checked in at noon-thirty, was told by my Service Advisor that no one could look at it for an hour or two. Had lunch, checked in again around 2:00pm. Two and a half hours later the bad news was confirmed, and a new radiator ordered...when would it arrive? 1-2 days... Oh great...not. So we arrange accommodations for the night. Next day I wait with fingers crossed that it will be one day & not two. At 1:30 pm, I call Moffits parts dept to see if it came in, and Yes, the very nice parts man says, it came in early this morning...this morning...the math...opens at 08:00, delivered early (08:00?!?)...I called at 1:30pm...why had NO ONE called me to let me know?So now I call the young man that is my Service Advisor, and ask why had no one called. Of course lame excuse i.e. he never got the paper from the parts dept as is normal protocol...So when might I expect the work to begin?, I ask my Service Advisor. Ill check with the service department, and call you right back, says he...1 hour 15min later he calls back, Tomorrow morning, since its getting close to the end of the day...08:00.Okay, I get it.•I dont live anywhere near here (I will be extremely unlikely to buy a vehicle of any sort from them or require ongoing maintenance or services in the future).•It is warranty work (no charge to customer/no profit margins or labor fees)I suppose it would be unrealistic of me to think that an excellent customer service experience could be possible here - 600 miles from home, stuck unexpectedly for 3 days.Hmm, guess not.Their give a damns busted.

We found a Hybrid SUV we were very interested in online. The Moffitt Ford employees were very good about getting back to us with any information we requesed about the vehicle. We wanted to know as much about is as possible since we would be traveling over 7 1/2 hours to buy it. We were very excited when we arrived at the Ford Dealer and saw the vehicle which was parked up front waiting for us. To our disappointment, it was washed on the outside but filthy on the inside. The inside was covered in dog hair and there was food scraps on the ceiling and seats. Even the buttons and gages were dusty and dirty along with the steering wheel that was covered in black oily stuff. The car had clearly not been detailed. We asked them if they could clean it before we bought it and drove it on our long trip home. They said they would see what they could do. Instead of having a detail guy do the job we saw they had sent the salesman with a spray bottle and some sponges to do the job. We patiently waited to see the car all clean and ready for us to buy. Needless to say, it didnt happen. They for some reason would not clean the car for us. We have never been to a Ford Dealer that has not been top notch with their service from start to finish. This was very disappointing to see. No wonder so many people are turning to foreign cars instead of American made. Good service should be standard care. We still bought the vehicle, drove it home and cleaned it for 4 hours ourselves. It looks brand new. This car clearly would not have sat on their lot for 5 months if it had been properly cleaned to begin with. Who would want to buy a filthy vehicle? I certainly hope not all Ford dealers are lowering their standards and treating their customers this way. I am now very happy with my car but wish the whole experince would have been like the past 4 times I purchased a car from a Ford Dealer.
