First time trying this place out.. called to see if they accept walk ins. The lady said yes asked what I was getting done Itold her it was for 3 ladies as well as what were getting. She tell me 230. We get there 10 minutes early and its still packed mind you its mothers day so I understand they were busy. What I dont understand is why they kept telling people come back in 30 minute increments. Working on me and leaving to go work on 2 other people! When you ask your technician and show her what design and how I wanted my full set done and she says yes she can do that and the end result is NOTHING like the picture.. no! My daughter wasnt thrilled about her new set. My nails didnt get the attention they deserved and it shows! 4 days with a fresh set of gel polish and they look like I had them for weeks! I wont be returning!

I picked out a yellow color and it came out orange. It was done sloppy and you can see through it because they only did one cote. He also put my cuticles back WAY to far. And I was going to ask for a little flower but he got up before I could say anything. When I told him it wasn’t the color I picked out he argued saying it was and wouldn’t let me change it. And when I asked for a flower he said he couldn’t do that. IF YOU CANT DO THAT WHY ARE YOU WORKING HERE!? Do not come here.

So the people seem to be really nice.. but the quality of the service is not good at all.. My daughter and I did a manicure and pedicure.. Only to have to return that same day because her nails did not get to dryAnd by the time we got home .. that jel polish had smeared and after the second day the polish had already began to peel off my foot.. too much money for the Quality of service..

My nails look decent, but I do not recommend getting nails or toes done here. Toes don’t look professionally done and it took over an hour and a half to get acrylic nails. They cut my nail beds down four times and it hurt a lot. They cut my friends down so much it bled. Also, the staff took someone without an appointment over my friend who did have an appointment. Unbelievable, and very pricey for their work. Will not be returning.

Got to salon 10 minutes before scheduled appointment but they had taken a bunch of walk ins so we had to wait over an hour after scheduled time. I had to make them fix my cousins nails. I could have done this quality at home. I was originally told $45 each and was charged $130 total. To say Im not impressed is an understatement! Multiple people worked on the girls nails. Not professional at all and do not communicate with the customer

I wish I could give no stars. We went in for our appointment and was told to have a seat in the chair sat there for 15 mins before anyone came over water was cold. I asked to have it warmed an was ignored. I left with dead skin still on my feet that I was able to remove at home. It was only 2 days and the polish has already started to come off. I called to talk to someone only to be hung up on. I will never go back or refer anyone to go there.

I love this place. The lady in row 2 does a great job on my nails every 2 weeks! The guy does a really good job too, but sometimes he cuts way to close to the cuticles where my hands hurt for a couple days. They look great after the pain goes away though. I always make an appointment ahead of time most of the time the morning of the day i want them done and i get in no problem. They do great work. A+ in my book.

They squeezed us in when we didnt have an appointment, which I appreciate but I definitely wont be going back. We both got pedicures and gel manicures, one week later my fingers are already peeling, the quality leaves much to be desired. The pedicure, granted I only paid for the basic package, but they basically did no massage or exfoliation and it looks like my niece painted my nails.

This place sucks! I took my daughter, paid $50, and when I saw them I wanted my money back. They didnt even polish them right.

Me and my friend went to get our nails done for vacation and my friends nails are all uneven, not the same shape, and the polish is bubbly and already coming off of her toe nails. Both of us got acrylics and gel polish and it’s really thick and they don’t shape them the same. My ring finger on my left hand has a bumpy shape, I got coffin nails and half of my nails are barely coffin shaped they’re more rectangular. My pinky nails look like they’ve been grown out for a month but I just got them done not even a week ago. The lady who did my nails also put some serum or some liquid on my cuticles that peeled off like when dry glue peels off. The nails don’t match any of my cuticles they’re either too far on my skin or too far up and they look overgrown. I suggest not getting acrylics here if you go, but really you shouldn’t go in the first place. They rush the job and then they overcharge you for poorly done nails. You can’t even tell them to fix something because they will get made or they will just paint over whatever you didn’t like making the nail thick. I would not suggest going.

Have been going here regularly. Pretty clean and sanitary, especially in the midst of Covid19. The technicians are pretty good but can work hurriedly when things get busy which can make you feel rushed.

Gel started peeling with a few days. Nails werent even fully covered with top coat. Didnt listen to what colors we wanted. Dont waste your time and money.

Aaron and his staff fit us in last minute, were very kind and patient as we toiled over the large selection of colors, and Lam was super careful and tender with my arthritic feet. I had no pain through the entire pedicure, which is so unusual! They are so Gentle here!!! The salon is Exceptionally clean, with good space between customers and room to easily navigate throughout.

I went to get a pedicure on Monday and my paint has already chipped off badly. I had a GC for 50.00 for my birthday is why went there in the first place. My pedicure was done by a gentleman who kept stopping in the middle of my pedicure to check his I pad and making phone calls very unprofessional! The paint job was horrible my 8 year old niece could paint better. The actually hot stones and technique of the pedicure wasnt bad but the painting of the toes and unprofessionalism will definitely make me not go back

Liked the lady that made my nails. She seemed friendly. She did exactly what I wanted. Though I witnessed some unhappy customers coming back to complain about the nails they made a day before by another nail tech. So I’ll advise people to be particular about who you would want to make your nails.

My nail tech yelled at me for letting her know there was a hair in my nail, didn’t take it out (just applied more nail polish over it), and was just rude overall. The man was demanding and seemed to only be kind to regulars. The younger man who did my friends nails though was professional and very hospitable. I just wasn’t pleased with the treatment. It also was 10$ extra for coffin shaped nails so remember that one. Smh.

Got a pedicure, it was rushed and sloppy. They did nothing to fix my heals and the paint job looked like my 7 year old neice did it.

I went to VIP and got a simple manicure with clear nail polish applied. The next day I noticed one finger nail polish was peeling. By Saturday, two dsys later, several nails had polish peeling off . Two weeks prior I had gone to another nail salon, had the same type of service and the polish did not peel. Two days after service at VIP, I returned and spoke to owner/manager. He told me it was common because I didnt get the gel or whatever term he used. I told him I had gotten my nails done two weeks ago at another place with no problem. He insisted they were peeling because it is common. I repeated to him what he said in question form and he agreed.I then stated that I would be doing a review and walked out. There is obviously no good customer service and a lack of professionalism.

I do not recommend anyone to go get there nails done here. I had a scheduled appointment at 11 and didnt get done till almost 3 and I just got a mani-pedi. I asked to get my nails painted blue and the lady painted them green. When I told her thats not what I wanted she became upset with me. I was incredibly overcharged and I watched people come in who had scheduled appointments wait at least an extra 30-45 minutes for there appointments to start they were so behind.

Make an Appointment... Not as it use to be when I started coming a few years ago. Wish they had more help. Especially around weekends an holidays. Still love the work done here. Might take a while, well worth it.

I made an appointment for myself and my friend for the same time on a Friday at 5 pm to get a dip powder manicure. When we arrived, we picked out our colors and my friend and I planned on using the same colors. When we sat down to get our nails done, I was trying to explain to my nail tech that I wanted to use the same colors that my friend had at her station. She wasnt understanding me and was visibly frustrated. Started kind of tossing her stuff around. There was a bit of a language barrier so I get it. However, the very next day, around 9 am, I noticed that my right thumb nail had a spot where the clear coat was coming off. Sunday night, the entire clear coat had come off my thumb nail. Its pretty disappointing since I got my nails done for a wedding I am attending this coming weekend.

The service here is absolutely outstanding! I really love to be such a wonderful set of nails! My cuticles are perfect my polish is magnificent at the top it off the design and shape.

We get basic pedicures. They always do a dandy job. The pedicures last and best of all, my nails arent weirded out when I take off the polish, (as theyve been after visits to other places) which is what keeps me coming back.

Very affordable prices. Gel fill in only $22. Great services. I always leave satisfied. Ask for the guy Tuan, he specializes in a variety of shapes & designs!

Very nice and personable staff however, I was not impressed by the acrylics that I had put on. They were extremely thick, misshapen, and uneven. They also were not blended very well with the actually nail near the cuticle, making it look like there was already a weeks worth of outgrown after painted. I had also paid extra for gel polish and there was more on my skin than on the nail, and because of that, it began peeling off 2 days later.

I started going here 8 years ago! I have moved but every time I come back to Bloomington IL I have to come to VIP nails! The owners are professional and courteous! They remember my name every time I come back! The staff is very friendly and nice! The pedis and Manis are wonderful! Every time they do my nails and toes they look fabulous ! I recommend you go here if you haven’t already so you can enjoy your experience ......

Horrible service. Polish came off my wifes nails about 3 hour after it happened. They left wax or something on. Went back in to have it fixed and they wouldnt accept the poor job and tried to say She must have wiped it off earlier. I told them She had just touched my toe in last 10 mins and was right by their place. They then said how lucky We was that they were there because they were about to leave for the weekend. This was Sat at 6:00. They close at 7p!

My mother and I went there about a month ago and they did an awesome job. I have not had one nail come off yet. I will be going back.

I dont even know where to begin. Ive been going to VIP Nails since I moved to the area and I have never had a good experience, eyebrow burns, many many broken nails, but since I am a regular I always continued to give them chance after chance. I literally stopped going because I felt uncomfortable going to a place where the customer service was completely terrible. Today I went in for a pedicure, long story short, I left. The pedicure never finished, but what I did get was bleeding toes, raw skin around my cuticles from improper usage of a critical pusher, jagged nails from my toes being cut with cuticle cutters instead of a toenail clipper, and having my feet gridded dry to get off the dead skin which left me hurting/bleeding heels. I honestly hope you think wisely before going here. They will no longer get my customer service.

Amazing design and so relaxing

I was extremely unhappy with my services today. I used to frequent this salon about a year ago for pedicures and decided to go in and get a gel/shellac manicure tonight. I didn’t mind waiting because they seemed flustered, but by the time they started working on my nails I was only 1 of 2 people in the salon. My nails ended up being streaky, having air bubbles in 7/10 nails, and there is more paint on my cuticules than there is on my nails. I wasn’t given the opportunity to speak up about my insatiafactoon because I rushed to the checkout as three more patrons walked in. All in all I will not be returning.

VIP Nails is a place that I normally go to every other week; its a busy place though. Only certain people (very few) are good. They take walk ins all the time and schedule appointments.I went in October 31st and there was two other customers getting pedicures; I just stopped in to get my old acrylics taken off and get a new set on. There was a new guy that does all of the nails now. And Ill let the pictures do all of the talking. But dont go to VIP Nails. They dont stay with you the entire time and are back and forth constantly; taking care of other customers, in the middle of your treatment. Its inevitable, they take too many people at once. Do you want your nails and fingers cut, bleeding, in pain and part of your nail showing and even crooked nails? When I went back to take them off the next day and try to get a refund, they refused! Ended up getting them taken off and got another set put back on the next day somewhere else. This place was a complete waste of my time. Will not go again. Found a new place to go.

Excellent customer service and the prices are pretty reasonable. They just didnt have my color.

Great experience

We just moved here over Christmas from Indiana. My husband got my nails done here for Valentines Day. Uneven, bumpy, some are thick, the gel top coat peeled off on a couple nails 2 days after they were done. I couldnt go back because we were in Wyoming visiting family. The guy doing my nails was so busy chatting on his video chat that he filed the crap out of my fingers resulting in cuts. I am so angry right now.
