I am always so nervous to try new salons, but Crimson Nails caught me by surprise!! I asked for a full set, which is what I normally get, and I was so pleased with the result! Kim was my artist, and I have never had a more symmetrical and perfect set done by anyone else! She was very precise, and her attention to detail was immaculate! I will definitely be coming back:)

This was my second visit to this nail salon. And I love it. They are all so nice. And it’s very clean. Hanson is my nail tech. He is so good. I asked for something with a “spring time feeling” and he came up with this for me. Little canaries with yellow & white flowers. It’s so cute and unique. I highly recommend this salon and ask for Hanson.🌼💚💛🦜

Son does excellent fills. He is very professional. However, some of his staff is rude and has a “don’t let the door hit you on the way out” attitude. So, I plan on finding a new nail salon. There are at least 6 other salons in the same area.

Everyone was very friendly and nice but 3 of my cuticles are badly torn up and my gel manicure has cracks on 5 out of 10 nails. I was just there earlier today and I havent done a thing to make them crack like this and Im very disappointed. I did have a friend with me and her nails and cuticles are perfectly fine though. Ive added photos but you can only really see one crack in the photo and it doesnt really show the red/scabbed areas on my cuticles well.*edit I am changing this as my friends nails began to crack a few hours later

The guy who did my nails was Awesome! Im new to the nail world, got a gel manicure and he was very helpful! I had picked a color and he started using it and told me it was very light would I like another? So he picked one out and my nails turned out so pretty and it just happened that color he picked matched my mothers ring I had on! I wondered if he had done that on purpose! 😊👍💙

Hanson did an amazing job on my nails, gave me exactly what I wanted! Would recommend to anyone new to the Bloomington area and in need of a new nail spot. Happiest I’ve been with my nails in a long time :)

I went here for my first time the other day to get gel full set. The guy who took care of me was very gentle with my hands and was very precise and took his time with my manicure. All the nails were perfectly even and not clumpy at all and the polish looked great. Only thing I would recommend for this store is greetings when customers walk in. It makes everyone feel welcome and more comfortable, other than that, very good job

I have gone to Crimson Nail & Spa multiple times and have seen multiple of the nail techs (all very good). The last few times I have gone to Crimson Nail & Spa I have called ahead and requested to see Hoang, he is absolutely my favorite nail tech in Bloomington. I HIGHLY recommend going to try them out and requesting Hoang! Also, I like that he offered me to pay tip by Venmo when I had forgotten to get cash from ATM.

I had a mani-pedi here for my wedding. I had never been there before. They were very professional, probably one of my favorite places that I have been in Bloomington. It is almost 3 weeks later and my nails still look great.

I went there with my aunt and mom and they did a good job on my toes but made my legs very sore after for rubbing so hard. I asked for my fingers to be done (while in the place ) and she did a wack job. she barely covers my nails all the way and it came off with in a few days. she didn’t even do prep on them at all. But they were kinda nice and clean. Also while massaging my legs I had a big really bad bruise and she didn’t even see it and made it hurt even worse. I say over all poor quality

Do not go here!! I had a terrible experience last time I went and I left a review about it and they flagged it to have it removed. I went in to get my acrylics removed and the station was not clean at all and tools were just sitting on the desk from the previous person. They ripped off my old acrylics by using another acrylic tip and it tore off part of my real nail. They used a drill too close to my skin and make it bleed too. I asked for the 10% student discount and the girl at the register said “really? It’s only a dollar” and then refused to give me the discount and charged my card the original amount any ways. So unprofessional and rude, please go anywhere else

Honestly i love this place; i never have had a problem with the staff or a bad experience when i go to get my acrylics filled. however, the nails break super easily. It’s not like they’re unusually long either, the tips just break off super easily and not too long after an appointment either. i once had 3 tips break off in a span of one week after getting them done which leads me to believe they use cheaper material. Lovely people, wish i could continue going there, however it’s too strenuous and expensive to continuously replace nails every visit.

I finally found an awesome place to get my nails done! Son was so fast and my nails look beautiful! It’s also a really cute place with beautiful sunlight coming in and also very clean and neat. Crimson is my spot and Son is my guy from now on!!

It was my first time visiting this salon and I loved it. The man doing my nails was very nice and didnt try to talk my head off. I got a full set French tip and he did an awesome job! Ill definitely be going back.

This was my 1st visiting Crimson Nails & Spa. I am so glad i did. I absolutely loved it. Its relaxing and inviting. The staff is very friendly. It was busy and a bit of a wait but oh so worth it. I was still in and out at a descent amount of time.

I used to love this place but now I am not going back. The last time the guy who did my nails was very rough, did not scrub my feet, and did an overall lousy job. Also, they now do not accept tips on your credit card.

Been going here for a few months but the last 3 times I’ve been here with an appointment, Kim has asked me to wait 30 min to over an hour while she has done designs or full sets for other people. So unhappy with the fact that I spend 2 hours here just to get gel polish!!

First time here! Absolutely loved it! I arrived around 4 p.m. on a Thursday, it was quiet (normal IUB classes not in session so to be expected). I had a nice gentleman do my pedicure and he was so meticulous in what he was doing, my feet are a completely new set thanks to him! I decided I wanted shellac because polish always lasts longer on my toes so a lady named Wen (I believe) did the actual painting and she was meticulous as well making sure there was no gel on my skin. I absolutely love the outcome and will definitely be coming back!

Charged me for a deluxe pedicure when I asked several times for the normal. Also literally removed my acrylics by ripping them off. Also didn’t give the student discount. Hurt so much. Don’t go.

I used to love this place when it first opened but over the past couple of years, quality has diminished. They are rough, burned me with the drill last visit, made me bleed multiple visits, do not massage well, carelessly file nails & painting varies each visit. Prices vary for same services. I won’t be returning.

Got my nails done (dipped) here on Friday, super friendly and quick. After work on Sunday, I noticed they had chipped off a lot during work, and this has never happened before the last couple of times I’ve gotten them dipped.I tried to call and talk to them, but they never answered so I went in today to talk about options. The woman who helped me said she would refund and fix them, and I asked to just have them removed since they would probably continue chipping. So she removed them, all the while saying I shouldn’t get them dipped then cause they would continue to chip which they never have before.During the process she said she would refund me on my card, then by a gift certificate, and finally once we were finished, she pulled out a 20 dollar bill. She said you can take this 20 as a refund, but when I asked about the other 15 dollars that I paid she said I couldn’t get it back because she had removed the polish. When I asked at what point was that fee discussed, she asked me if I wanted the refund of 20 or not. That was the end of that. I will not be going back, and I would suggest finding a place that’s willing to work with you and be more forward on money-back guarantees.

So great! My mom and I came to get pedicures, I got the deluxe and Jay Jay, did a great job. Awesome massage and the hot stones were super relaxing. I always come back to crimson and always will! :)

Needed a quick pedicure before my husbands class reunion. Quick in and out and the polish job was fine. I prefer a place that does a better job of callous removal and the finer relaxing points of a pedicure. This didnt do it for me.

Honestly, one of the worst manicures I have ever had. While I was visiting from out of town, I took my Mom there for her Mothers Day treat. They didnt paint all the way down to the cuticle so it looked like we had a weeks worth of outgrowth when they were just done! Started peeling the next day so badly that I had to remove the polish. Not sure if they thinned out the polish or what. The price was a lot less than Im used to paying, but you get what you pay for at this place. Dont waste your money or your time!

Been a loyal customer of crimson for a year or so. Went in with a bridal party and the manager did my nails . She was rude, rushing and hardly spoke to me. She did however speak to all the other customers. Very clear that she doesnt want my business.

If you want powder dipped nails, DO NOT GO HERE!!! I recently had them done and ended up paying more than advertised to me. Ive had them done before and they never have any issues with breakage. At other salons they last six weeks and I go when the grow out. First off, they had absolutely no idea how to do them and ended up taking almost two hours. Then recently I lightly bumped my finger and the whole powder nail cracked and the top layers of my nail ripped off. Please take powder dipped nails off of your services until you learn the proper care and quality of them.

I rarely get my nails done unless I want them to last so I opted for a dip manicure. I wish I would have done regular polish because my nails look mediocre at best. The edges were not clean and I couldnt remove the excess with nail polish remover. I just had to wait for it disappear on its own. Also, the filing is awful and they are not even and the texture is bumpy. In addition, one has already chipped (its been two days) I would not recommend this nail salon. There are much better places in Bloomington.

I have been a loyal customer of Kims for nearly two years and have been very patient through many situations such as long waits, no shows because she was next door at the dentist, etc. One time I called and was told that Kim would no longer do my nails and toes on the same day because it took too long. I recently had a problem with gel polish that she applied on my acrylic nails which only lasted two days. It peeled right off of two nails while I was away on vacation. The next time I went in I mentioned it, and they begrudgingly gave a slight discount. I called today to make an appt to find that Kim is no longer willing to do my nails! I tried to explain to May, the owner, that after being a regular customer, I should be able to tell them if something is amiss without retaliation. This is bad business. I think they have an attitude problem here as if they are doing the customer a favor instead of the other way around. Go elsewhere! Who needs this drama?

By far the best place to get your nails done in Bloomington. Friendly staff and great customer service. I was nervous to get my nails done this time because I had ripped my pinky nail off and the skin underneath was very sensitive but my nail tech (Peter) really took his time and was so gentle!

Signed in and sat down. Was never greeted. Waited over 25 minutes before someone finally told me they didnt have time to fit me in. Which they yelled from their station so Im not sure why they waited so long to tell me.

I went today and got my nails done. They didnt take my old nails off right and ripped my real nail down the middle. And after that they decided to soak my nails the right way. I got colored nails there was color missing on the nail they messed up the acrylic and its been 3 hours and one of my nails have cracked

Best salon in Bloomington. Impeccable manicures and fantastic customer service! I have been a customer for 3 years. I went in once and havent been anywhere else in Bloomington since! My restaurant job is harder on nails than most jobs, and they are the only salon that can give me a truly perfect 2 week manicure.

Waited for 40 minutes then they tell me they dont do pink and whites :(Major waste of time

SAVE YOUR TIME DONT GO! The manager (May) was extremely rude. I sat down and asked her to make my nails a little more narrow and she questioned me as is if I was dumb then yanked my hand towards her and started filling them down. She then began speaking rudely about me to her fellow workers and was rude to me as well. She was pulling and twisting my fingers more than she needed. May then tapped one of my wet nails and messed up the polish and had a mini fit about messing up as if it was my fault. She assumed I said something rude and threatened to kick my friend and I out. I really dont like the attitude that was given. I highly recommend T&T nails the service is better!

Horrible experience. The staff was rude and kept insisting there must be something wrong with me because I have bunions and bruised toenails and old scars on my feet. I explained that I used to be a ballet dancer, but they kept saying there was something wrong with me. I cried for the entire appointment and the woman doing my nails laughed at me. Absolutely horrid. Never going back. Do not go here.

I had a fill in, and the man who did it was outside smoking, quickly rushed in and sat down. Didnt even wash his hands, and started drilling my nails. He stunk of smoke, rushed and was sloppy. Its been 3 days and I had to have my set removed at another salon because of an infection under 8 different nails. Im angry, out almost $100, and now without nails. Avoid this place!

Nice pedicure but should be noted that if you pay with a card, you cannot tip on the card, only cash. Not a big deal but I hate when I’m unprepared and then have to run cash back.

So the next day I went back and got them shorter, I had my nephew and soon to be Neice with me and jj (not sure on spelling) painted their nails for free! Beyond greatful. Such a great nail salon with such nice workers.

Theyre incredibly rude, and only two of the technicians do a decent job. My daughter and I both got a full set and they were clunky, uneven, too long, just poorly done. Had to go to another salon to get them fixed. Avoid.
