I wanted to like this so bad but the tech i had.... awful. My nails are sloppy, misshapen, and the color is uneven. She hurt me by filing my cuticles with the electric drill (why i dont know), messed up the polish, and left a lot of bumps and mistakes. my fingers are legit sore. she also refused the shape and style i wanted originally, making up excuses, and i asked for long and coffin shaped and got this...... also had polish all over my fingertips. overall, i really regret coming here.

I’ve been here a few times and every time has been awful. The last time I came in a few months ago for a full acrylic set, I was left with multiple deep cuts on my fingers which the nail technician continues to rub with isopropyl alcohol to clean. It was painful and extremely unsanitary. I always leave with acrylic stuck on my fingertips. I usually don’t like to leave bad reviews, but it would be irresponsible to not look out for the health of others.

The worker doing my nails was rough and was rushing, which made me bleed multiple times causing my fingers to hurt. She was filing my skin and now have cuts on the sides of my fingers. Also the lady got nail glue all on the tips of my fingers. Dont recommend!!

I have been here two times and both times it was terrible. They leave my nails chunky and when they were cutting my nails she made me bleed multiple times. I told her the link they wanted and she told me that she wasn’t gonna do with that long because she didn’t think it looked good and so she cut it shorter. I asked for regular and she said I couldn’t do that either and made me do gel nails which was more expensive. The nails look bad and we’re not worth the $60 I paid. She was also on the phone the entire time and was very disrespectful

Tony is great!! He is very meticulous with the DIP manicure - I had an ombre done for my birthday and he provided wonderful service. Would definitely recommend - it came out great. He even worked with my short nails which are very hard to do an ombre dip.

Not me but a friend always has a hard time when she goes to this nail salon. She always ends up with the same girl. She is rushed and harsh with her hands and nails. The nail polish is never applied evenly and she is needing to give the nail stylist direction on what part of her nail needs more attention. If she could give negative stars she would. Do not recommend this salon to anyone. The customer service is not welcoming and the service is poor.

I have been coming for over a year and very happy with my services. Some of the technicians are better than others. I really enjoy Sandy and newly hired Red. Its nice because there are so many people working that the wait time is really not that long at all compared to other nail salons. I recently switched from acrylic to dip powder and they have done a fantastic job. I do suggest they get a wider selection of dip powder colors. Prices are great and everyone is friendly!

I go once in a while to treat myself with a dipped manicure and decided to check out this nail salon in Birmingham! I had a great experience at the salon, but am very disappointed for the quality of my dipped manicure. I spent $42 to have my nails done for the holidays and the dip chipped 3 days later! How very disappointing... when it is supposed to last 3 to 4 weeks!!! How can it chip within the first few days?!?! I am not sure I will be back to this salon and will be sure to warn my friends and family of the quality.Update: 3 days later (about 1 week after my service) - the majority of my nails have now peeled in whole bits !! Something obviously was done wrong during the dip process. I am thinking back to the experience and wondering why the light lamp was used to cure the nails, when I thought dip didnt use light at all?!?! I will definitely be calling the salon to inquire more. Nails are completely ruined.

Ive gone here for about a year - maybe 4x. Its very convenient and the technicians are nice. However, have to agree with some of the other reviews. My recent visit was very rushed. The technician didnt even leave my nails under the light for a full 60 seconds. When I said something she slowed down. She did a shellac manicure and pedicure in an hour. I also noticed she had an appt waiting right after me so Im not sure if that was the reason for her to hurry. I did explain that I was going on vacation and needed the mainicure and pedicure to last. Well sure enough, Ive noticed today that 3 of my nails have raised dots on them. Very dissatisfied. I will not be going back. Please consider this post when choosing this salon.

The young lady that helped my daughter get a full set of nails for Prom in 2 days, was amazing. Very quick but her work was impeccable and flawless. Will def be coming back to her. Hey name is Anna. Very friendly and warm. My daughter is extremely happy. Thank you

Quality depends on who you get. Brian is excellent and detail-oriented. A few of the women are sloppy though. They get mad when you ask them to straighten crooked nails or fix giant bubbles in gel polish.

Nails Etc. is a great nail salon. My wife gets her nails done here all the time. A co-worker recommended Nails Etc. to us. We love coming here. Very clean and friendly staff. We use Bee and Cici as nail techs all the time. They are great! All the staff is friendly. Great place to go! I highly recommend it!

I rarely get my nails done and I decided to do so for a wedding. I got gel because I heard it lasts longer. I got my nails done on Tuesday and by Thursday they were chipping and coming up, they were completely peeled off before the wedding on Saturday. I’m so disappointed and on top of that I paid $60 (which I’ve never paid anywhere else). I will not be back here.

I like this place and the atmosphere. I see Satoko. She’s great! She listens and gives you exactly what you ask for. The price is pretty high though. I paid 72 for pedicure and an overlay with shellac. Overall I recommend this place but come ready to spend.

I tried Nails Etc. after a couple bad experiences at other salons. They were awesome! I came in for a manicure on a Sunday afternoon. No wait, cheaper than other salons, and they did a GREAT job! Bee did my nails. The place was tidy and clean, and the atmosphere was nice.

I work close to this salon and Ive probably been to every nail tech at Nails Etc but no one compares to Bee. Shes quick (in a good way) where she can do my shellac polish change and pedi in an hour for my lunch. My nails are always clean and perfectly filed, my pedicure feels amazing and shes just the best. Never rushes me to pick colors or when she polishes and shes probably more picky than I am because she wants my nails so perfect lol If youre picky like I am then go to her because Bee will not disappoint

Really disappointing. I had a pedicure and explained my feet are dry. The lady that did my pedicure put a lot of lotion/oil but did not exfoliate the bottoms. Its 4 hours later and the bottom of my feet dont look any better.It would have been better had she used a paddle or file to slough off the dry skin and then added lotion. Atleast the nail polish is lasting.My nails are not faring well at all. I had tips and gels. Its been just 2 weeks and the nail tips are coming off and the gel is peeling.I am going somewhere else and having the nails removed to avoid any further issues.Realllly disappointed.

My wife and daughter love this place, but I had never been. I went in for a nail repair when they were busy on a Saturday afternoon. They took me right in, fixed me up, and Im embarrassed to say how little they charged me (I left a healthy tip). Ive never had my nails done, but Im going to start-what good people.

I went in for acrylics for an event and I left with at least 4 nails put on lopsided and crooked because the lady was rushing so fast it hurt.
