They did an OK job on my full set nail design, except they made my nails WAY too thick. Very thick. Kinda crazy how someone would think thick nails like this is acceptable. Way overpriced for what I got.

Overall good experience. It was my first time at this nail shop and I went because of the reviews. My pedicure was wonderful!! The young gentleman Keith or Kevin did a good job on my dip nails. I wish they could do designs on your nails though but thats not a deal breaker.

Kevin did such a great job on my pedicure. I felt relaxed, very pampered, and my feet felt and looked brand new. Highly recommend you bless this family run company with your business!

Very nice on the inside just wished be would have taken his time. Was one of the quickest pedicure Ive ever had.. by the time I started enjoying the massage he was on to lotion and the massage is the main reason I even get them in the first place to help circulation.

I got my nails and toes done on Saturday. My nails started chipping and snagging on Monday. The quality of the dip powder is beyond POOR. Ive gone other places and never had this to happen. I will never go here again. They charge too much for my nails to already look like Ive had them 3 weeks

I absolutely recommend Nails 280. They do EVERYTHING RIGHT.My appointment always starts right on time.Even when I just walk in, I never wait long.They are clean and safe and social distancing.They have a wide selection of colors, make sure the nail shape is on point, and will even take the time to practice a design before they do it on your nails.They do not talk much, but they are by no means impolite.You do not have to ask for any specific person because everyone does a great job.They are knowledgeable if you have questions about caring for your real or artificial nails.They dont make a fuss about fixing a broken nail or anything you’re unhappy with.They take the quality of their work seriously and check with you before you leave to make sure everything is ok.I can not say enough good things.They deserve for their business to thrive, and I wish them the best of luck.

This salon is great! I’ve never had to wait longer than 5 minutes, and the staff is very skilled and knowledgeable. They even let me know how my previous nail artist (from Atlanta) had damaged my nails and worked to get them right.

Absolutely amazing salon!! The lady that performed my service did such a great job. She took her time to ensure that my nails were done perfectly. The design came out amazing. My baby was with me, in her Tula. The lady(I really wish I wouldve asked for her name) even made sure that the underneath of my nail tips were filed smoothly so I wouldnt accidentally scratch my baby. The atmosphere is so relaxing and beautiful. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

I’ve been going to Nails 280 for 7 years. And never had a bad experience. They always been kind, friendly and personable. When I call for appointment they try their best to squeeze me in, and if they can’t, they will let me pick the best time it is for me the next day. Their work is beautiful. I’ve never had a problem with their work. Just to help you all to understand, there are only 2 workers there, and if only 2 people are there being worked on and that they don’t have any openings it’s because, they have people already coming in that had made appointments earlier. He does such an outstanding job with my pink and white acrylics that even as they grow out they look great. I wont go anywhere else. He and his wife are always friendly and welcoming. Walked in and was greeted by multiple people and got seated and serviced IMMEDIATELY. Vivian did my nails and my mother’s as well and she was super sweet, paid attention, fast and skilled. This will be the only shop I attend from now on, to touch my nails. Prices are very reasonable and such a big collection of polish, gel, powders that It was overwhelming (thats a plus).**ONE WEEK UPDATE** My Acrylic Nails (With gel and powder) are still FLAWLESS just as they were freshly done. Still so vibrant and NO nails have been broken or needed filling. (Trust, I’m always breaking a nail) First experience at this shop and won’t be my last. Thanks goes to Vivian for the good work.

Staff were very friendly and place was very clean but I got a full set acrylic with gel on top they started popping off two weeks later after I paid $65. Both me and my Mom got pedicures they only let our feet soak for a very short time in water that was not warm then started scrubbing our feet on a tender area of my Moms foot to where it started to bleed all while the man kept leaving to answer the phone and write appointments in the book forgetting to file my other foot. 2 weeks later our feet look like they havent even been touched. Very dissatisfied I will never return. We picked this place because it had five stars for a mother daughter spa day very disappointing!!!!

I am a loyal customer of Nails 280, having gone there for manicures and pedicures for several years. The pink and white acrylic nails that Billy does for me last longer and look better than those done by other technicians in the past. I have had many compliments on my nails. I am usually able to get an appointment at my convenience. I do understand that weekends are the busiest time and that no one should expect to be served immediately at rush times. I have several friends who have had bad experiences at other shops due to lack of sanitary working habits. There is no doubt in my mind that Billy and Heidi run an impeccably clean business.

Heidi and Billy are the best. They are always willing to see me and do it with a smile. If I forget they remind me of my appointment and reschedule with a smile. My nails always look so good and they take their time to make my time pleasant. I am proud to call them friends!!!

Starting going to nails 280 in March or April when they were remodeling. Probably new ownership. Vivian did my nails. I loved them. Her technique and detail was amazing. Got so many compliments so I referred everyone to Nails 280. After a few visits I noticed Vivian had changed her technique and began to cut corners to speed up the process. I went from extremely healthy nails to layers of my entire nail bed taken off with a nail file machine. They are so thin and still have not grown out enough to restore healthy nails. I have to cut them down to the nub every month or so to try to repair the damage. It’s very painful!!! I’m very upset that anyone would use that machine to take off gel to the point where my nails felt like they were burning. Not realizing the damage until it was done. Maybe if I’m lucky my nails will be healthy again. 😭🤞

Only got a star because I had to.On a trip to Birmingham, I decided to get a pedicure. When I walked in, there was literally 1 technician and 1 customer. He came up and I asked about the prices of their pedicures fully expecting him to lay out the packages and prices. He tells me that they are very busy and it would be 2 hrs. I said “You’re very busy?”. He said “Yes, it’s only me and I’m working with someone.” I said “Ok!” And I left. Something about that didn’t feel right and taking two hours to do a man’s manicure doesn’t make sense. I called back and asked if they were busy and what the wait time is. A woman answered and told me she could do it for me in 30 min. I thought it was 2 hours? I thought there was no one else in the shop? Hmmmm....

Ive been going to Billy and Heidi at Nails 280 for YEARS now, literally every 3 weeks. Ive never been disappointed. They do professional, top quality work. While they may not have alot of staff, all it means is you need to think ahead a little bit and try to call ahead. They have tons of regular customers, and we all love them! Even saw Condaleeza Rice there!

Went in for the SNS and it chipped the same day. I came in to get it fixed and it chipped again. Not only that nail, but 3 other nails. It was a waste of money for it to last only 1 day. Plus the texture was lumpy on my nails.
