Easily one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! Landing was tailor-made for my current situation. It still feels too good to be true, but its not. Its as real and perfect as can be. I’m so thankful to have come across this company!
My experience with the Landing has been great so far. They let me choose a unit within my price range and have been super helpful and willing to answer any questions Ive had. Caroline has been amazing through the whole process, and Im excited to move into my new place next month. The application process was also fast and easy. With a lot of pet-frendly options, taking my pups with me has been a breeze.
I would like to thank Christopher McClintock very much for all his help finding me a furnished apartment in Seattle. The check-in process was very smooth and the unit is very nicely decorated. I am quite happy with my stay in landing!
This is the single best housing service and theres no close second. The number of available cities is plentiful, the landings are beautiful, and the customer service is top tier. I would recommend anyone looking for beautiful, furnished housing to use Hello Landing.
I would love to talk about my representative Phil Hontzas. Phil was one of the most helpful, professional, attentive and informative reps Ive encounter on this type of platform. I was not completely sold on Landing at first but thanks to Phil, I got my three month property completely sorted. I could not be happier. Thank you Phil
Great concept for those always on the go like me. Excellent communication and easy to book right on the app. I would highly recommend!
Being older and single I was nervous about moving to a new unfamiliar state. I ran across Hello Landing as I was attempting to find a furnished apartment. Hello Landing exceeded what I was looking for. Not only is the apartment furnished but it is set up with many basic items that you dont think about until needing them. The size of the smart tvs in the living room and bedroom are a plus; set up with high speed internet. The apartment I chose is gated and very secure. I have seen both public and military uniformed residents going to and from work. Im sure they wouldnt have chosen this community if there were safety issues going on. Plenty of dog walking areas for your fur babies in a quiet neighborhood. When the host brought me to my apartment everything was clean; from the silverware and dishes to the walls, carpet and linen; and I mean clean. There were environmentally safe shower, laundry and dish soaps provided. Which I appreciated due to the items being green and me being exhausted from the traveling. There was even coffee and munchies provided to help hold me over until I got myself situated. As far as the amount charged for rent, keep in mind that you are paying for convenience. Currently for myself it is worth it. I did not want to deal with moving furniture in the future. I am old enough to know what all is involved with moving.During the initial registration Hello Landings employees were very polite and patient with my lack of knowledge uploading needed documents. The documents are needed to verify that you are able to pay. No different than any other home rental agency. So for those of you out there hesitant because of not being familiar with such things, dont let it stop you. They work with you through the whole process. On that note good luck and safe travels!!!
Very responsive, place looked great when I got here. Some minor swap-outs of high-top chairs were necessary but everything else was really really good.
This is the first time our company has worked with Hello Landing and it has been off to great start! Working with Monica has been fantastic. She has provided all the documents as requested in a timely manner. We are looking forward to working with the Hello Landing team on more partnerships!
Claudia was super helpful explaining the process, getting signed up, and making a reservation. Will updated based on the move in process etc.
A terrible experience from start to finishFrom start to finish my experience was a disaster. They have no employees on the ground who actually know anything about the properties or to assist you with any problem.I was unable to move in for two weeks after they began charging me rent and unable to obtain parking passes for two weeks to access the parking garage. I was promised two parking spaces but then told I could only have one pass. When I protested loudly a second parking pass materialized. There was no one to check me in despite receiving messages via the app giving me a date, time and name of the employee who was to meet me at the property to show me around. That person told me he didn’t work for the company any longer. So I made my first call to San Francisco and began my daily calls with a cast of characters.I was told to come back later for a “self check in”. I literally walked the entire complex trying to figure out where to find the mysterious lock box with my key fobs that were needed to obtain access to my unit (the building management team can’t help as the apartments are under Landing control). The people on the phone in San Francisco had no idea where the lock boxes or anything was located in this property (which is a huge complex with gated parking deck). I was given three keys when I finally found the lock box, but no one could ever tell me what the keys opened? — the door locks only work with a key pad code — there are no actual keys.My TV and internet never worked the entire time I was charged rent. I had daily calls with several different employees (usually after extended hold times) trying to get my issues resolved. The employees who man the phones are generally not trained or experienced in property management — this company operates basically on a call center mentality. They never once sent an employee to fix the problems with the Wifi (the TVs and locks are work only via wifi). They disabled the front door lock by mistake remotely changing the name of my wifi network one day. Then I was given the wrong info about when this would be fixed — and wasted most of another day on the phone talking to people in San Francisco begging for help.Twice they told me they were delivering new TVs to me (that they wanted me to install as best I could tell!), even though nothing was wrong with the TVs. The issue was the lack of a wifi router inside my unit - I never found one — my signal was too intermittent to be able to allow the TV to operate (and they do NOT provide any cable TV type package of channels even if the TV worked — you get only the free stations Samsung has built into the smart TV.I could go on, but it was an awful experience in every respect, so I was forced to move out early—yet another major waste of a couple of more days of my time. This experience was at Courtland Vesta in Birmingham, which is one of the newest and most expensive high-rise apartment complexes in Birmingham. I expected (and was promised) it would be carefree living by the Landing “team”. It was a non-stop nightmare. Then, the final insult, the Landing refused to give me the rental credits I was due for the days I wasn’t able to access the unit - or any credit for the hassle they gave me — and insisted on charging me a $1500 early termination penalty despite never delivering the services promised — and wasting days of my time moving in and out and on the phone every day trying to get help. The organization is basically inept, untrained, uncoordinated and unempowered to actually help you resolve problems — though they are excellent at taking your money and promising you they will deliver! And quite cheery telling you that while actually doing nothing but wasting your time. This new corporate apartment model is very much in the “beta test phase”. Stay away until they figure out how to run this company. Great concept on paper — but with no true management or skilled employees — you can’t run an apartment business remotely by telephone!
First time and current renter. This company is good on paper, but horrible implementation and the absolute worst communication. CEO Bill Smith, if you read this, your Birmingham branch is a dumpster fire. Managers are often less than helpful, if at all, are not familiar with the property they’re renting, and try to pay you off with gift cards for your complaints. I had high expectations but it has been unresolved issue after issue after issue. To potential renters, believe the negative reviews. I cannot recommend this company.Update: Gave this company another chance in another city. Nothing has improved. Customer service and communication continue to be extremely poor with concerns going unaddressed for days to weeks or blatantly ignored. The poor ratings and reviews are justified and true.
As a young professional, I move frequently, and it is neither reasonable nor convenient for me to repeatedly move my belongings or sign leases that are incompatible with the time frame that suits my career needs. For these reasons, Landing seemed like an alternate option that better fit my lifestyle. However, I was initially skeptical about leasing through them, because the concept frankly seemed too good to be true.Thankfully, I have been pleasantly surprised at every step of this process. The Landing team has gone above and beyond to ensure a high-quality experience for me. Ive been incredibly impressed by all the little things they have offered and included, such as stocking the apartment with cleaning supplies, helping me find housing options that were both in my price range and in convenient locations, and making sure the kitchenware was new to accommodate my celiac disease. On a broader note, Ive been thoroughly impressed with the quality of the customer service, responsiveness, transparency, and dedication to resolving issues that the Landing team has demonstrated throughout this process. As is often the case with new companies, there were some glitches along the way, particularly with communication, but the Landing team went above and beyond to resolve every issue that arose. Their dedication to addressing issues and concerns was far more impressive than a completely seamless process would have been, because it demonstrated their commitment to their members, which is important to me, even in a short-term lease situation.I am very grateful for Landing and truly believe that the concept of this company meets important housing needs that have previously gone unmet. I whole-heartedly recommend this company to anyone looking for the convenience, flexibility, support, and high-quality housing offered through this service.
Cayla is professional and always tailor-fits with what clients want.
BE CAREFUL! DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY OVER THE PHONE. I made this post after almost losing 2 months of rental payments (~$2,800) to this company. I was looking for a place to stay for 3 months in one of the cities Landing caters to. I chose the unfurnished option due to the cheaper price and because I have my own furniture. After choosing a 1 bedroom unit that was available, I called Landing to explain my situation and to ask for more details about what would be included in the package. I VERY CLEARLY stated to the lady that I was planning to move out after 3 months or so and then asked if I would be charged any fees when I choose to move out. She said no, you can move out whenever you want. I called back the next day and asked the same question to another worker. She also said that I would not be charged any fees when I moved out . Content with this knowledge, I moved forward with the booking. Fortunately, I read through the entire lease agreement before paying the first months rent. Below is an excerpt:[16.1. Early Termination. Provided that there is no Default as of the date that the Member delivers the Early Termination Notice (as hereinafter defined), the Member shall have a one-time option to terminate this Member Agreement (Termination Option) provided that (i) the reservation was not secured as an Indefinite Reservation. An Indefinite Reservation shall be considered to be a reservation for a term of at least 6 months minimum within the Landing network (Indefinite Reservation). Indefinite Reservations receive Landings best pricing structure and therefore an additional $1,500 fee will be applied to reservations booked as an Indefinite Reservation and terminated prior to the expiration of 6 months...]I called back for an explanation about the contradiction between what I was told and the lease agreement. After asking the guy I spoke to about Section 16.1, he said that it is true you will be charged $1,500 for early termination, but thats for furnished apartments. For UNFURNISHED APARTMENTS, a 12-month minimum is required, and if the tenant terminates early, they will be charged 2 MONTHS OF RENTAL PAYMENTS.In conclusion, DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING you are told by phone, and read the entire lease agreement (theres other BS I dont have time to cover right now), or you could lose thousands of dollars with arbitration as your only remedy. I dont know whether the workers are merely ignorant or simply liars, but in either case, my experience was highly unsettling.
Do Not Rent from this Company. They charge your card twice for thousands and will not refund your money. We tried to rent a furnished unit in Miami and they took over $2300 from us before they approved us. They came back a few days later and say we were not approved. They said that they refunded us but we have been thru such turmoil to retrieve our funds. They took another $2300 out a week later and yet did not refund the first transaction. We called them several times and they hung up the phone because they realize it was us calling. This is not a business you want to give your money to. Beware. We are dealing with retrieving over $4600 from this company. FYI they rarely answer their phone and when they do it takes forever for someone to pick up.
Great customer service! Quickly and easily helped us bridge a gap in our stay in Austin, TX. Made everything a breeze!
My wife and I had to make new plans at the last second for our move to the Charleston SC area. We were able to book a two month stay with Landing and it was extremely easy and the customer service was great! We are very pleased with the apartment and how it is furnished. We will definitely refer Landing to friends and family and use them again if we need to in the future.
Landing has been the best experience for me and their customer support team is so helpful! Ethan is an absolute gem and was there to answer all of my questions. The apartments are clean and come exactly as described, very happy to be a member!
The guy below me, Clark Kent? Exactly what he said. This whole system Landing has for travelers (or anyone) to so easily get hooked up with excellent quality apartments fully furnished (with basically everything you would need minus groceries), is exceptional. It literally feels too good to be true just be able to hop about to different apartments within their network anywhere in the U.S, but it’s the real deal and so very worth it if you’re a travel nurse like myself and want a quality apartment without hassle.
As a travel nurse I stay on the go and pretty much live out of my suitcase. However, I am a creature of habit and routine. I absolutely LOVE Landing! Anywhere I go, it just feels like my home away from home. Every check-in/check-out is seamless, and I always have someone available to answer any questions or concerns. Unlike typical Airbnbs, in which the style and items within the place depend on the person setting it up, EVERY Landing I have stayed in is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and has EVERYTHING you could possibly need to make you feel at home, right down to the detergent for washing clothes or a bottle opener to curl up and relax with a glass of your favorite wine. I can keep my normal routines, cook my meals, meal prep for work, or just simply relax. If you travel for extended periods (1 mon +) and like the home away from home feel...Landing is the one for you. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed!!
Caroline was great to work with today! She made it easy to get this unit booked. Thanks
