I love that there is cats here. Beautiful area spacious apartments g are expensive I got mine for a very good deal and its renovated. Bad thing Is that many bugs get in the apartment even when we first moved in, there is also some cracks in the ceiling, rust behind the mirror cabinet. Service is rude and maintenance takes forever to come well have to call like 500 times. Rent increases after a year. Also they garbage is horrible, but the location of the apartment building is amazing. Pool.is nice same as playground. Drainage had so many problems and the the tub shower sometimes has problems dispensing the after from the shower head. Spacious apartments though.
We moved in, blindly, during the height of the pandemic, and The Landings has been a breath of fresh air. The lawns are cared for multiple times a week and the landscape is appealing. The neighbors are friendly, and the units have plenty of space & grass for the four legged pals at this pet-friendly complex. Units are updated and the pool was open. There’s always a spot to park your car, trash is easy to dispose of, and maintenance techs work quickly to fix any issues. Plus perfectly located for the commute to work. No complaints, props to management.
The landings is a great place to live . The staff is always there to help out and the grounds are kept pretty. I love how quiet it is there and the other residents make you feel welcomed . When my apartment flooded they responded quickly and they made the necessary repairs without hesitation. To sum it up the Landings is a great place to live and I would recommend it to anyone.
Nice apartment. Management responds to concerns quickly. Very friendly. I give 4 stars because the dumpster areas are terrible. Not contained securely. Trash strewn about complex. Also snow removal is your responsibility other than a crew plowing the driving area to navigate to your building. They don’t plow empty parking spaces until days later. Therefore if you have to go to work while it’s snowing you won’t have a space when you get home. You have to take your shovel in the car with you when you leave. You also have to clear your own sidewalk. They are considerate enough to throw salt down after you shoveled it.
Its a nice apartment. The office staff are very pleasant and accomodating. They fix things within a reasonable amount of time. Maintence is polite and respectful. Snow removal could have been better and the garbage dumpster areas are disgusting. I have only been here a year and they raised my rent almost $100 per month which I believe is excessive.
The garbage is always all over the dumpster its so horrible. The property can be better kept for it to be such a big property there should be more employees that keep the outside property clean. The bedrooms are small. The office does handle issues that need to fixed in your apt in a timely manner.
DO NOT MOVE HERE.The leasing company is comically awful! You can find apartments of similar quality (or nicer) for less in the area and the horrific leasing company combines all the terrible aspects of a large leasing company with the shady practices of a bad landlord! You can expect:• Enormous rate hikes year over year (10%) so even if you get a decent rate your first year, you are in for a bad time unless you want to move every year of your life• Copious maintenance issues that takes days or weeks to resolve (I am on my third water heater, have had sewage back up into my bath tub 4 times, have had to go without heated water in mid winter, and randomly lose electricity to half the apartment). It is exhausting to deal with this ALL OF THE TIME, it is literally like a second job and a constant source of anxiety.• Losing your checks on more than one occasion, and then when you insist that you left it there inbox they will magically find it but not waive late fees caused by their own negligence. You are basically forced to use the direct ACH service because of how incapable they are of handling actual checks.• A completely unresponsive leasing office. It can take weeks to get a response to an email and even then they are absolutely NO HELP. They make 0 accommodation, do not negotiate, show no understanding, and are overall rude and inconsiderate.• After hours maintenance is not even worth trying. After sitting on hold for 30 minutes you will talk to a call center employee who will attempt to deploy maintenance staff. IF you actually get maintenance, it will likely be someone who had to drive an hour to this location, just not to have the tools to fix what is broken. They will be understandably frustrated and so will you, so a bad time all around. Then you get to wait another day to have your issue resolved.I feel they have seriously taken advantages of residents during the pandemic. During a time where it is extremely difficult to move they are still practicing enormous rate hikes and completely inflexible. Additionally, the credit for not being able to use advertised services is LAUGHABLE.It is genuinely a shame that what couldve been a very positive leasing experience has been turned sour by their inability to do anything correctly AT ALL.
Wish they had the half star option because this place is terrible how many issues did I come across upon and was reported to them and nothing was ever done last incident was water coming down from the ceiling in my kids room dripping down to the outlet thankfully nothing happen and I reported it ASAP and nothing was ever done at all! This place is trash straight trash save your money
Dropping down to 1 star. The neighbors and location are nice, however, it appears upper management has done a poor job of supporting the facilities crew in responding to tickets. Our washer was out for an extended period of time (>5 months); coincidently only fixed due to hole in ceiling due to leak. They state that they do not usually make adjustments to rent for washer being out. My wife and I have had to make trips to the laundromat exposing myself and my family and 1 year old to the possibility of contracting covid. Other neighbors have had delayed responses to maintenance as well. ONEWALLs response is that due to covid theyve had to take precautions with there crew coming into homes which is understandable, however, what upper management is not willing to make any adjustment to rent when advertised amenities are out of order or not available or there is a hole in your ceiling and one has to keep a bucket in the bedroom. Again, friendly neighbors and employees at the office, but looks like upper management isnt driving the right decisions to support residents.
Don’t move here go spend your money elsewhere if you can, this property is nothing but straight garbage the office ladies never answer you have to call non-stop to get through also they’re response time is just horrible you might as well do the fixtures yourself
The apartments themselves are beautiful inside(if you receive an updated one) and spacious for an apartment, however management and maintenance is poor. The management staff does not communicate amongst one another, so every time you call, you have to explain your situation to someone new. The rent goes up EVERY YEAR, and for the amount you pay here, you might as well rent a full house. They make you pay a fee every year for the pool, the park and community room regardless if you use them or not. Maintenance request take days for them to get responded to, however the maintenance workers themselves are super nice. The utility billing is a joke— the bill is never accurate based on the dates.I would not recommend these apartments. They are nice and the area is quiet, but it’s not worth the price you will be paying. My advice would be to rent a house. This place is a rip off.
I have been without a washer for a month now. Have to go to laundromat. I am so dissatisfied that I am looking to move out. Ever since they were taken over and the price went up, everything went down the toilet. I have the original air conditioner, shower, from when it was built. Cracks in bathroom ceiling. In called for. Money is their #1 goal. They should have people qualified to fix washer/dryer and other equipment!
The air conditioning here is unable to keep the apartment cool some days in the summer. On a hot day it typically gets to 79-80 degrees Fahrenheit while the AC is running (in the picture it is set to 72 but the actual temperature is 79). I have been told the AC unit is working fine and nothing can be done, it just does not have the capacity to keep the room cool. I wouldnt recommend this complex for someone with small children, pets, the elderly, or anyone with a sensitivity to heat.
If there were a no-star option, thats where Id vote this one in. Theyre nice sized in a terrific location, but thats where it ends. Theyre expensive, nothing is included, the workmanship is a lick and a promise. We rented a non updated apartment, which means its a mess. He leave a message for maintenance, you can wait a long time to get back. Best to spend your money elsewhere and I have your blood pressure raised each and every time. I rented in a lot of places this is the absolute worst.
Dont put money down unless you know you have it and they make you have double the money.I even showed that I paid other landlords they dont care..All they care about is that you make more they dont give good people chance..
I would completely advise against moving into this location. I have lived here for almost 2 years and the only reason I am still here is because its so highly prices that we have a hard time saving to move. Any issue we have, we are treated like a bother. The management is absolutely horrible. People are constantly moving in and out and we hear every move out neighbors make. You DO NOT get what you pay for here. Its is completely overpriced. Parking is a nightmare.Moving here was easily one of the most regrettable decisions of my life. This place has made my start at raising my family an absolute nightmare. We were lied to about numerous facts when interviewing to live here.If you are looking for a nice place to live at a fair price, I strongly advise that you look elsewhere.
In the year and a half I lived here, I never had a single problem. The reason I’m not giving it five stars is that it was very pricey for Bethlehem. But if you can afford the rent I would certainly recommend it!I’m confused by why these apartments are getting such bad reviews. I’ve lived in some awful apartments before for the same price, and this wasn’t one of them. I knew other people who lived here too, and to my knowledge they never had any problems either.
Used to be great when it was under the old management. “One Wall” bought them out and it’s been going downhill ever since. The hours for the office are completely unknown. The message on the phone says one set of hours, the building’s sign says another, and the people working there say yet another different set of hours. Our rent was raised AND we now have to pay $125 for a pool pass we don’t even want. The pool pass is a piece of paper and if you lose or damage the paper you have to pay another $25.There is no communication. Got home from work and the whole side walk had been jackhammered. Called the office to see what was happening and they had no idea.
My experience through the move in process was straight forward and stress free for my roommates and I. The people in the office have been very helpful and able to answers all of our questions. The apartment we got was in good condition for a good price.
To end a lease early, these terms apply: 60 day written notice and an extra month rent due by departure. The security deposit cannot go toward the last month rent. There is no exception for residents leaving because they bought a home. I called corporate and left a message to verify that they dont have a home buyer program to end the lease early without such high penalties. I never heard back from corporate. For anyone planning to buy a home in the near future, this is what you must comply with. Good luck!Management need not reply to this posting.Regards.
I love apartment. The area is very quiet but management leaves a lot to be desired. I came to look at the apartment before I signed the lease to see what needed to be fixed, etc... Mind you the last tenant hadnt been too long moved so the apartment was clear of course. There was a stain on the wall by the stairway, marks on the walls by the front door, carpet leading into bathroom was frayed and screen on patio had holes in it. I was assured that everything would be fixed and cleaned. Only the carpet was cleaned and the screen was changed. Mind you I know that you are supposed to clean when you move in but they are supposed to have someone come and clean beforehand and inspect their work. That wasnt done. So besides those things I love the apartment.
Really nice apartments. Ownership, not so much. First--the rent is essentially a moderate mortgage for a reasonably-sized one bedroom apartment. I could get a house for what I paid here. Second--we were lied to when we moved in--we were told that after a year living here we could negotiate our rent for the second year. Well the rent went up $75/month and when we asked for that to be lowered, they told us they no longer do negotiations. Then they re-listed the apartment for less than we paid after we moved out. INSULTING. Its a nice place to live, quiet and safe (if you dont mind spending almost $15,000 a year on an apartment)...but the ownership doesnt really care about the tenants...
This apartment complex is corrupt. If you give them money they will hold it FOREVER! Deposit money was taken and assured after they UPPED THE RENT PRIOR TO MOVING IN, that they would return it to the credit card AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. ITs been OVER A MONTH and all we get is shuffled around and now they say they may send a check? NO CHECK WAS GIVEN TO THEM, IT WAS A CREDIT CARD and SHOULD SIMPLY BE REIMBURSED. BE VERY WARY OF THIS COMPANY THEY ARE NOT ON THE UP AND UP.
I live here with my roommate and the rent is higher than expected. Rent was supposed to be 1350 a month and now we pay almost 1700 monthly. To which is ridiculous it was more than we were told we were gonna pay. And because of this we are having difficulties. We express this to management and they tell us that if we don’t pay they’ll file in court (more money) and when they file in court they kick us out and we have to pay all their legal fees. The person who helped us set this up was very nice. But we can not help but to feel shafted and we can’t even break our lease early without paying an extra months rent on top of that. It’s really disrespectful and unfair to have to face such issues when moving into your first apartment. I really wish I had an undo button because if so I would do it in an instant.
Watch out about with problems with vandalism and new management. Read the fine print.
I would not advise moving Into these apartments. They are completely overpriced for such a small space. Before I moved in, they talked a good game! Saying how inexpensive it would be, how certain things would be covered in a bundle deal. It’s a lie, they make you pay so much for such a tiny space! I’ve been trying to save money to move out, but it’s hard because The rent is extremely high. They are extremely inconsiderate here. I can’t even put my tv above the volume 30 without my neighbor giving the front desk a ring. I pay close to 1,250 a month for just a one bedroom, I should be able to put my tv above 30. I could have honestly rented a house for the amount I pay. I am highly disappointed with this place! Don’t even get me started about the pet policies, they expect you to pay a 500 deposit for your dog or cat and monthly they expect you to pay around 200! They want me to pay about 1400 on top of my rent for a puppy. The apartment is not that nice, the washer/dryer’s are no good, the refrigerator leaks, the stove/oven does not heat up properly. The bathroom is tiny and the water for the heat takes awhile to warm up. When it snows they don’t clean the pathways well enough, I almost crashed coming into the facility. This is my first apartment and I will never recommend anyone to live here! I’ve seen nicer and bigger places for cheaper! So if you are considering moving here I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST LOOKING SOMEWHERE ELSE. Don’t fall into the trap! I can’t wait for my lease to be up so I can actually enjoy where I live and feel at home. The landings is not home, it does not make you feel welcomed. People are always moving in and out and I honestly do not blame them! ALSO you pay so much money and don’t even have parking! Every day there’s a new car parked right in front of your apartment number! You literally have to park in other apartment spots! (You can’t even park where your building is) because they don’t assign the parking so anyone can simply park where you live!
The absolute worst year of leasing in my life. The management nickles and dimes you for every little thing. At the beginning of the year they put me on this $81/month flat charge for utilities (which didnt even include electricity or internet so you have to get that separately) and when I asked them to remove me from the flat rate charge cuz my neighbor told me that was a rip off, they never did, for the entire year! Furthermore, they use your security deposit to pay for things they should be covering on their end, like paying for the people they hire to inspect the apartment, and end up keeping your deposit, and sending you a bill on top of that, even though theres no damage. Lastly, theyre slow to respond to requests like bug issues, water issues, etc. just fast to take your money. DO NOT LIVE HERE, let this place go bankrupt.
Was very nice
Front desk staff are very disrespectful while speaking to you over the phone, I work and pay my hard earn money so I should be able to call and asks any question I please .
Very disrespectful staff at their office, overpriced, internet so expensive because no other competition, i left the apartment very clan and they refund me from the deposit $64 out of $250, honestly if i have time i was going to go to the court because i have recorded the clean apartment for every sing side of the apartment before i gave them the keys, also i had emergency so i had to leave the apartment 15 days before the contract ends.
Overpriced shoe boxes!
