I went in for a simple, neutral color gel manicure. The color did not match the sample, and I walked out looking like I had just slapped clear nail polish on. My cuticles were painted over, my skin was stuck to my nails, the tips of my nails were not wrapped and a few fingers were clumpy!! I have never complained about service at any salon before, it was so bad that I had to go back to see if she would fix it. She told me I could come back in a few hours to have them redone. At this point I did not want another gel manicure, and asked if she would just do a normal manicure. She agreed.A few hours later I came back and picked out the color I wanted. She proceeded to try to bring the polish to life by adding something(?) to it. After she painted a few of my nails she told me it was too empty to proceed. I then picked another color, too old- its empty too she said. At this point I just asked her to pick my color because I just wanted to get out of there. I sat through her removing my gel manicure, and watched her attempt to do my regular manicure. I do not understand what she was doing. She would do two nails on one hand then go to the other hand. She had to remove the polish from two of my nails, and ended up only doing one coat of polish and a top coat on those two. It was a mess. I was not happy- but i thanked her for trying her best.As I was walking out of the store she started yelling at me from the back of the store that I should pay for the manicure, and that she was going to have to pay her boss for me. I already knew that I would be going home to remove the sloppy manicure, and there was no way I was going to pay $40 for the gel manicure and tip AND the sloppy manicure. Not to mention, she kept telling me how sexy and gorgeous my body was... I was flattered the first time but the next three times were just a bit awkward. Also, there was some random man that came out from the back who did not work there? And then he just sat there and watched/talked to me? Just weird vibes.Overall, save your money and go somewhere else :D
Ive been coming here for a year for gel manicure and gel or regular pedicure. They are doing a great job - taking the time and not rushing like many other places. The prices are reasonable for the high quality. I recommend this place! There is free parking right behind the salon - near the back door.
The lady was courteous but she didnt tell me she never done black peoples hair and never waxed eyebrows. My head was destroyed, she waxed off two or 3 hair from my eyebrows and charged $25 for both. Pedicure was nice. Manicure was ok ok until she realized that the color Ive chosen run out. She failed to see it prior...my nails came out a mess. I paid what she charged me $85 In total..gave her$5 tips. I hope they do better for their next customers.
Came in just after 3pm on a Friday, called at 2:45p the same day and they said I was free to come in for an acrylic fill. Friendly ladies, and took the time Ive experienced nowhere else on perfecting and polishing my nails. Really felt the love and care through both the nail work and customer service.Price for fill-in + gel polish + repair 1 previously broken nail with fresh acrylic = $38 which I rounded up to $45 in cash, on par with my White Marsh regular salon.Im horrible and never ask for names but I was worked on by the younger of the only two women in the store today, presumably the owner. Was in and out in an entire lunch break, will come back again when Im working in the area.
I have been doing my nails with Mindy for a year now and she is fantastic. I am a perfectionist and her work is always up to my standards! I always get gel nail polish and a manicure. They last for a long time and the prices are reasonable. Very happy with my experience thus far.
This place is terrible, the staff are unprofessional, I was there last Saturday and my haircut Is awful. If I could give it zero stars, I would.
Friendly workers, clean environment, clam music, a great place to relax & enjoy the small pleasures in life
This place treated my daughter very poorly. They gave her a very average manicure and when she tried to tip them $5 on an $18 manicure, they made her feel guilty for not tipping enough. She reluctantly tipped them more but their response to her was very inappropriate!
This place is terrible - the staff are pushy and unprofessional, their equipment does not appear to be sterilized, and when they remove polish they use a wide nozzle squirt bottle that covers your arms with alcohol and makes it painful to breathe in. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Stay away!
The overall service was poor
