While I give this location a low score, I do want to note the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. My issue for the low score is largely with the inefficiency and disorganization I experienced. I ordered the tires a week in advance and was promised a phone call when they came in. I was told the tires would come in approximately two to three days. After 5 days I never received the call so I called the location. When I called I came to find out that the tires had come in and Im disappointed that I was not notified and wonder how much longer would have passed without a phone call.I scheduled an appointment to mount and balance the tires for that Saturday at 8:30 a.m. and I arrived promptly. Having worked in a mechanic shop for 10 years I know this is a one-hour job max. I received a call at 10:15 stating they were about to begin working on my car and needed some additional information such as address and email, which surprised me because I had dropped the car off and a pre scheduled appointment. I returned at 11 figuring my car would almost be done and came to see that I they had not even been started. I was told they would start right away and to come back a bit later. I walked around the neighborhood and grabbed a quick bite only to receive a phone call 45 minutes later that they just started and needed the wheel lock key. I informed them where the key was and returned to the location. The mechanic was quite friendly and apologized for the delay. The job was completed by 1:15pm nearly 5 hrs after my scheduled appointment.It is clear this location needs new supervisory management, a better schedule system, and most importantly to hire additional mechanics. They have 6 car lifts with only two mechanics on site. A location that size in my experience warrants at least 4 to 5 mechanics.I am not sure why they would have scheduled an appointment for 8:30 a.m. when they clearly did not have the staff to service my vehicle. Again I appreciate the kindness and professionalism and hope the location service improves as it is about the same cost to order tires from Tire Rack and have them installed at the Exxon station near my home.

I went to this location on Old Georgetown Road two years ago and the service was excellent. Evidently, 2 years makes a difference for service to turn from excellent to horrible!Last week, I made an appointment for the purchase and installation of two new tires. Today, on the day of the appointment, my husband arrives only to be told the technician who is to serve my car hasnt shown up for work and they dont know where he is.The worst part is I called at 8:30 this morning to confirm the appointment! They offered no alternative solution or even an attempt to get another technician.AVOID this location at all costs; you dont need the headache. Go to Costco Tire Service in Beltsville, MD... excellent service and knowledgeable technicians when it comes to tires.

Unprofessional, understaffed, and poorly run.booked appointment online for oil change. When I came in, they said that they were very backed up and I wouldn’t be able to pick the car up today. Irritating, but fine.next day, shop is about to close in two hours. Still hadn’t heard if my car was ready. Called, they said they were working on it ”right now”An hour later I call, and they say I can pick it up. I come in, pick up the car and my car says “Low Oil Pressure”. I get out, and sure enough oil is leaking out of the car. I immediately go back in, ask them to look at it. They fish out a mechanic, he takes a look and starts jacking up my car to fix it. Nobody stopped to tell me what was wrong.finally I stopped one of them asked them to explain, and they said “oh it’s fine this will get fixed in a minute”. An hour later I am still here listening to a mechanic yell at someone else asking for help cleaning up the mess.eventually a mechanic came up and apologized, saying they were understaffed (as if that’s an excuse) and could offer me a free oil change next time. Why would I come back?There was no manager here to talk to me and actually explain what had happened. Seems like nobody was in charge and they were all frustrated.total waste of time.

I needed to change all 4 wheels on my care so I scheduled an appointment. First issue was the scheduling. Then they didn’t complete the job on time (took them 2+ days to change wheels). Then they didn’t install two tires correctly and air was escaping leaving me with 2 flats. Then once again trying to get them to fix it was an issue and every time I would go in they would tell me to call. When I would call they would tell me to come in whenever. Honestly bad.

I booked an appointment online on the national website to have four new tires installed. The website assured me that the tires were available and that the installation could be done the same day. I reported for my 11am appointment and was informed that the installation could not be done until the following day and there was no flexibility. I needed the installation done same-day, which was the entire reason I chose this location. To make matters worse, by waiting for the 11am appointment, I lost an opportunity to save money at another location.

Been a customer since 2015--went to a different auto-service shop in town and felt like they way over charged me. Thats never been an issue here; they always walk me through whatever they recommend and Ive never felt like theyve tried to up-sell me. They also convey clear risk/benefits to each course of action proposed. Work is usually completed on the same half-day.They are usually really busy on the weekends, so Id advise booking an appointment online for earlier in the morning.

John “makes” this location “ACES”!!!!! He not only worked with me to get the most competitive price for new Michelin‘s on my 2013 Ford edge sport, but he followed through with making sure it was riding perfectly. When I did notice a slight vibration and drift, he immediately scheduled me for a quick return, rotated and rebalanced my tires, and had me back on the road in less than an hour!!! Best car experience I’ve ever had.I had an unexpected flat on my way to work and called pretty early to see what there hours were, see if I needed an apt because of covid, etc. Saeed answered within one ring, told me to swing by and drop it off. I arrived minutes later with no appointment and he fit me right in. Called me not longer after for a read out and let me know to come pick it up. I also got an email of my invoice where I could see the exact charges and pay directly. I used that service which was super convenient. I showed up a few hours later on my lunch break to pick up, Saeed recognized me and remembered my name despite having 900 other things going on that he was dealing with. He gave me my paperwork, had my car pulled out and I was back on my way.I HIGHLY recommend this place for tire needs and will likely be bringing my car here for oil changes and rotations in the future :)

Absolutely outstanding service. I got right in at my appointment time for an oil change and the manager diagnosed an odd sound that I had been ignoring. I am about to put some serious miles on the car and this was the reason I chose NTB instead of a discount, express oil change place. I wanted expert mechanics looking at my car. Also, the military discount exceptional.

This is the first review I’ve ever written for any business but the experience was so bad I had to share. Quite possibly the worst custom service I’ve ever received at a place like this. I made an appointment…and when I arrived, the rep sat at the computer without acknowledging me standing there asking to check in for 10+ minutes. Was very rude when he finally stopped whatever he was doing. He then proceeded to tell me 1) there was no where to park my car on site and it was my fault I decided to come to a busy NTB location and then 2) said they wouldn’t finish the car that day. I was getting 4 new tires replaced, and with an appointment I’m not sure how it is my fault they double booked themselves.Then I proceed to wait all day until I get a call at 645 (15 mins before closing) that the car was ready and I needed to pick it up. I told him I wasn’t able to get it that night due to the short notice… and he proceeded to very rudely try to convince me to figure out a way to get there before 7 PM because they couldn’t guarantee my car wouldn’t be stolen because they didn’t have a place to park it.Honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had and will go out of my way to not recommend this place.

Very accommodative shop, however theyll sell you on just about everything and anything. Prices arent great, even when they do have a buy 3 get one. However, I was happy to pay their higher prices for the location and level service.

Product quality and selection is outstanding, customer service is very good, and general vibe is very good. Make an apointment.tem; favorite time to visit, between 7 and 8 A.M. on Saturdays. Easy to spot from the street, just look for the NTB sign.

I had a flat tire in my driveway. I called to ask for advice and an appointment. They offered neither, telling me they may not be able to get to me for days. I called another tire store and they suggested what I should do and said they could fix the tire the same day. I’ll never go back to this store.

Doug did a phenomenal job and Saeed took such good care of me and my situation! I know things can be really hectic especially in regards to getting your car fixed but they were very patient with me and got the job done!

I visited this location for a scheduled new tire install service. It took NTB 4.5 hours to install 4 new tires with an alignment. It was brought to my attention that the tech working on my vehicle worked on and balance the WRONG set of tires, which caused a HUGE delay in service.No one seemed concerned or considerate of the time I had to wait for my vehicle. There were customers in and out after me, yet no one made an effort to communicate with me until the last hour - “I’m sorry but the tech balanced the wrong set of tires so he had to start all over. This is not your fault, totally his fault but I apologize”. Granted his (I think it was the manager name John) apology was fine, butThe most corrective action would have been to express apologies and offer a discount for my service. It is unacceptable to have a customer wait 4.5hrs only to tell them on hour 3 that the tech worked on the wrong set of tires. To add insult to injury, it took Henry an additional 30 minutes to give me a quote on breaks when he was asked to do so hours prior too.I will NOT visit this location again, nor will I recommend anyone to this location.I am also escalating my review up to corporate.Customer Service is important, so it time and effort.It’s frustrating to have a manager apologize while laughing at something that was THEIR fault.

John and Saeed are lifesavers!! I was in a pickle when my car battery died and I was two blocks away with my 6-day old baby. They let me warm up inside, came to my vehicle to assess my car troubles, and fixed the car within an hour. I cannot recommend this place enough! They are kind and fairly priced - I will definitely be back!

Brought my car in because I picked up a nail and I needed a new tire. When I came back to pick up the car, the new tire was put on the wrong side. I understand everyone makes mistakes but that is very unacceptable. No one paid attention to detail or even checked the issue, luckily i looked at the tires before I left. Poor management and very poor customer service. Don’t waste your time or money on this place. There are better places out there.

Friendly and made an effort to squeeze me in to a fully booked day. In and out in an hour (replaced battery and ran power diagnostics and checked tire pressure sensor). I have been a satisfied customer of the Bethesda NTB for over a decade. Their prices and service quality are quite good but MOST IMPORTANT they have been consistently honest with me. I can’t tell you how many times they’ve told me “you don’t need this right now.” How many repair shops give you the full explanation? This is one of the very few.

Worst staff here !!!!I have searched alot for good price and somehow their price was good and as I was in hurry I scheduled an appointment and finished all the paperworks online. I got here at scheduled time and the staff started over everything from beggining ... the staff is not behaving properly, customer service is very very very very poor .

First and foremost, the personnel at this establishment are all hustle. Theyre working 100% of the time and thats obvious. I did notice however that when customers came in to retrieve their vehicles or for a scheduled appointment, they were made to wait for significant amounts of time ad their services were not in fact complete. For me, I specifically stated exactly what I needed and was given an exact price before taxes. I scheduled an appointment and showed up on time. When I arrived the price was higher for services/fees not mentioned over the phone. I stated my concerns and the owner/manager immediately removed the added costs which was great. I got my car within the expected wait time.

My husband and I have always been able to count on management, mechanics and techs to give me trustworthy, skilled and friendly customer service. The current manager Saeed Khan goes out of his way to make the experience a positive one. He and his staff always keep me posted on my vehicles status and are very honest!! I know I can trust Saeed and his team! Bethesda is lucky to have NTW in the neighborhood. Even during the pandemic, The Bethesda NTW stayed open and staffed for their customers. They are front line workers and I appreciate them!

I have been unable to find better tire prices and service in the area. I know I will get a competitive price but I also can count on...wait for it...the upsell. It never fails but as long as they give me great service, $20 off synthetic oil changes with on line coupon I will keep coming back to get what I need and decline the other things they always find for me to buy.

Not impressed at all with this place and their service. Very poor customer service on drop off and picking up, was ignored multiple times and even personal texts were taken before I was helped. I made an appointment 2 days in advance and when I got there they told me if would be done before 7 when my drop off and appointment time was 2, not sure what the purpose of the appointment scheduling time was for. Also be prepared to pay for the meter while your car sits on the streets as they do not have a client parking area. Will definitely not be returning.

Wonderful experience with this shop - actually had my specific tire request in stock, an appointment available the next day, and had me back on the road after 2 hours just as theyd promised. Location is easy to find and there are coffee shops and restaurants within a block or two. I only budgeted for 2 tires today, and although I was advised to get the other 2 replaced soon due to their age and wear, I wasnt pressured into buying them. When Im ready to get the next set, though, Ill definitely be returning here! Thank you guys!

It’s sad to say that this establishment has no sense of business. Where to start...first John tells me that I can go to the store and pay to get my tires delivered and honor an ongoing special. When I get there, another team member tells me that they cannot honor it. They start arguing amongst themselves in front of customers. Very unprofessional! I finally asked if I should keep wasting my time and go elsewhere. They looked at me dumbfounded and said nothing! Not only that, while I was there, they made me move my car 3 times. Luckily, there is another location in fairfax, VA who helped me, got me another set of tires and made it happen. I didn’t even want the special, I just needed tires. Not sure who manages the store in Bethesda but they need to reevaluate their position and their customer service. I highly recommend not to visit the Bethesda location. Don’t waste your time.

I’ve tried several local service centers. Saeed and his service team are the best! Friendly, high quality service and they treat my Jeep as if it was their own, keeping it beautiful inside and out.

These people are scam artists. Got quoted a price online for four new tires installed, balanced, and aligned. Then they called and claimed that alignment would be an extra $125. I pointed out thattthat quoted price specifically stated they would computer test the alignment to make sure it was good, and they claim that means they will test alignment but not fix it. They then tried to negotiate with me and say they would align tires for $90 and not the $125 they initially tried to get out of my wife when she answered their call. Both the initial service rep and the manager I talked to seemed to be making things up as they went along to try to excuse their misleading and deceptive price quote.

Had an oil change and tire rotation. Took about an hour to get to my car and do the work. Having an appointment decreases the time of a job substantially.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I am new to the area and was in need of a new automotive shop for my older, well-used car. Yesterday I brought my car to a local competitor for an oil change and was sorely disappointed when they told me there were necessary repairs they had to complete in order to do the oil change. Quoted me $1600+! I kindly declined and sought out another nearby shop. Thankfully I came across NTB! The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and honest! They completed the oil change for me in a timely manner and reassured me that all looked safe and in order under the hood. As long as Im in the area, I will never take my car to another place! I am the definition of a very satisfied customer! Thank you NTB!

We had a very unusual tire issue and they tackled it with precision and attention to detail.They were honest and upfront with costs and services, and I was happy with the value I got out of the transaction.The Team even stayed late to finish up the repairs so we could take our vehicle home that night!Finally, they take social distancing practices very seriously, the place is clean and safe.A light in an otherwise dark and stressful situation.

Had a great experience today at NTB. Jafar was super helpful - I was a walk in and they helped me right away. I had a doctors appointment later that day and they were able to get my work done in time for my appointment. Also Every single person there was wearing a mask including all of the mechanics. Win!!

Fast, good value, considerate

The only reason I go to ntb is because my company vehicle has a fleet plan and ntb is the biggest one for us to use. I scheduled and appointment to have my tire patched or replaced and when I arrived I showed my fleet card and the manager didnt know how to use it and the only guy that works at this ntb and knows how to use the card was on vacation. I think they were too lazy like every other ntb or should be retrained or fired. I have never had a good experience with ntb. I went to Mr Tire they have way better prices and service. Dont use any ntb they dont care about the customer

I went in to get a tire patched so simple to do and he wanted me to leave my car over night. Crazy ! I don’t need to leave my car over night to get a stupid tired patched!

They had my car done super quick! I am grateful! Any other place in the area takes hours but this place took not even one hour. Will recommend and be coming back to this location over others. The staff is very professional and treat me very kindly. 5 stars!!
