Not only was there no record of the appointment I had made, the guy working the front desk made no apologies, but instead seemed annoyed by the suggestion. He went on to say that the mechanic who would perform the service was out for several hours, yet tried to take my keys. No, thank you!

For the past 10 years I been taking my cars to this repair shop. These folks are the best in town. The professionalism, customer service and HONESTY is second to none. There are no gimmicks like at the dealerships, always telling that your vehicle needs something else once the car is no longer in warranty. I recommend this car repair shop any time. I have been bringing my 2007 Volvo XC90 to Bethesda Import Specialist for years and they have always done an an excellent job with maintenance and any repairs. The quality of work, honesty and customer service is exceptional. I highly recommend Mike and his team! I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Knowledgeable, no-BS bunch of pros. The pricing is square and fair. I spent years getting my cars fixed here and there, and their performance continued to deteriorate. After a few visits to Bethesda, both vehicles run like near-new. I drive a 200o Volvo and a 2004 Toyota, both with over 100K miles. It really is incredible just how many overcharge for for sub-par or non-essential work. Highly recommended if you want to end the stress that comes with maintaining your vehicles.

They are the most honest, smart and efficient group. Im so lucky that weve had the good fortunate to have them work on our cars.We have been taking our cars there since before we were married, and weve been married for 19 years.

Went in for new brakes and they wrote up a ticket for over $2000 worth of other repairs. I got the brakes done, but wanted a second opinion for the other repairs. I went to a different shop in VA where they said I had leaks in my coolant and power steering systems. Bethesda Import Specialists did not even mention this to me at all. They also didnt top off fluids, which should be standard when doing $500 worth of work on a car. They tried to take advantage of me by charging for repairs I didnt need, but serious issues were overlooked. I will not be returning, and will not recommend to anyone else.

They did a good job with my car, regarding a malfunction information light that appeared on my dashboard. One week ago they sent me away at no charge since my 2008 VW Jetta has very few miles on it. I was told the light was reset and I needed to drive my car more. It came back on this past Sunday and yesterday I brought it back.This time on closer inspection, a cracked air hose was found. Three hours and $455.51 later, I was back on the road. I am grateful to Mike and Scott, I just wished they had found the problem the first time. The mechanic loudly voiced his dissatisfaction that I had not been charged the week before, but he apparently did not take the time to look closely then. I only have 11,000 miles on the car. This is a good place with overall excellent service.
