What an improvement. The new manager April has done a wonderful job of cleaning up the property and making it safe. Ive lived in the area for 15 years and that complex was always trouble. Its so much better in the last months. I hope it continues to change and become a safe place for all. Low income housing doesnt mean it has to be a ghetto. Certainly refreshing to see such a skilled manager.

I wrote a review around this time last year, and am writing another one to say how pleased I am that things are just as good, if not better, than they were then, thanks to our manager, Suzy. She regularly keeps us informed about how the company is handling the covid situation, and while we havent always been able to see her in the office, she always has the time to explain any concerns on the phone. And thankfully, she returns calls promptly. Shes always helpful, pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. Were blessed to have her after a long stretch of many managers in the 18 years my granddaughter and I have been here.Mike, our maintenance supervisor, is a steady, reliable worker, always pleasant, courteous, very capable, and willing to do the job quickly. He diagnoses problems accurately, and I believe he can fix anything. I trust him completely.The grounds are always well maintained and trash is picked up quickly, and any issues are taken care of.I dont know Eric very well but the few dealings Ive had with him have been pleasant and friendly.

Well i have to say Ive had a well pleased move so far April up front has helped me so much and has been very polite and positive she explains things well and helps when she can. Im very excited for this new journey as well as my kids in our new home! Thank you!!!!

Suzy, Mike and Eric work Tirelessly to make this a better home. We had a real problem with dog feces and Susie seem to straighten some people out looks pretty good the grounds always look good she’s walking the property and looking at peoples decks which I really appreciate. They are kind and return emails promptly.

Hi there everyone. I have been a resident at Cedarwest for 6 months. I would like to take the time and say a huge thank you to our Property Manager Suzanne and her maintenance team for the outstanding job they do !! They all work very hard to make Cedarwest a nice place to live. When I first applied to live here, I believe Suzanne went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that I could have a place to live. She is very nice, kind, friendly, and professional (as is the maintenance team). I just love my apartment. When I moved in they had already installed: a huge brand new air conditioner, new carpets, new blinds, etc ! After I moved in, my stove started giving me trouble, so in a very short time they bought me a brand new stove ! I cook and bake a lot, so this new stove has made me so very happy. Also, the counter tops had a lot of wear and tear on them from the previous tenant, so Suzanne and her maintenance guys replaced them too ! Whenever I have a question or concern, Suzanne and/or the maintenance guys are very quick to respond- usually the same day- WOW. The grounds are kept up nicely, thanks to the hard work of maintenance; whether they are spray washing the buildings, painting, or taking care of the flowers/bushes. I have heard that many of the garage doors will be replaced and/or refinished. Also, we have a basketball court, a playground for children, an exercise room, and computers (in the common area). Unfortunately, we cant use the computers or excerise room until the Corina Virus is over. I have also made some nice friends here at Cedarwest. In short, I consider it a blessing to be living here and with Suzanne and her crew guiding this big ship, I feel we are in good hands. Job Well Done !!!!

Living here at Cedarwest has been great. A lot of credit goes to the Operations Manager Suzy and the maintenance team. We are lucky to have them. Both Suzy and maintenance are very professional, customer service oriented, friendly, and polite. Suzy once told me her job was all about happy tenants. I have called Suzy many times, with questions, and she always seems to contact me right away. I really like that, especially, because both she and maintenance are incredibly busy. I dont know how she can juggle so many things at one time.When I first moved in, the apartment was very clean and had no odd smells. The lawn is always mowed, and the grounds look great, especially in the spring and summer when the flowers bloom. Also, the whole complex is very well lit at night.For me, the rent price is a Godsend especially for such a nice place. Another cool thing about Cedarwest is that you can rent a pretty large garage.Also, people here love that we are just a few minutes walk from lots of stores, shopping, and bus lines. We have Safeway, Walgreens, Big Lots, Costco, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Subway, and lots more. In addition, we are super close to the hospital and many doctors offices.A couple of months after I moved in the refrigerator broke down. I called Suzy, and maintenance was here, toolbox in hand, in less then 20 minutes. He was very polite, courteous, and was even wearing a face mask. He had the fridge back up and running within two hours. It has not had a problem since !I believe that most tenants watch out for each other and just want to live in peace.

We have lived here for 17 years and the improvements that have been made are the best yet. The appearance of the grounds and exterior buildings has improved significantly.I have only good things to say about the staff here. The property manager is very pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and patient. She takes the time to listen to tenants concerns and issues, and goes out of her way to get them resolved. It took seven requests and nine months under a previous manager to have my front door light bulb changed, as it had to go through her before being passed on to Maintenance.Also, unlike previous managers, she does not act as though she is the tenants boss. She is courteous and friendly.Also unlike previous managers, she returns phone calls, which is much appreciated.Maintenance is very good, and requests are carried out in a reasonable response time. The supervisor is very pleasant, experienced and thorough. Hes quick to diagnose problems and find a solution.

Recent changes in management have greatly improved the quality of life for tenants. Professionalism and integrity have returned. Suzy has made great strides in cleaning up the messes left by the previous short term management and improving tenant morale. Her cheerful professionalism is a welcome and refreshing upgrade.

WOW! WHAT A CIRCUS ACT. THE FULL RUN AROUND, THEY DO NOT WORK FOR YOU, THE RENTER AT ALL. THEY TAKE YOUR APPLICATION FEE AND LEAVE YOU HANGING. TRIED TO RENT TWO PROPERTIES THROUGH THEM FOR OVER TWO WEEKS WITH LITTLE TO NO COMMUNICATION BESIDES CREDIT ISSUES. DID NOT WORK WITH US AT ALL FOR A CO-SIGNER. NONE OF THEM SEEM TO CARE TO HELP US FOR OUR $70.00 WE HIRED THEM TO FIND US A PLACE AND THEY COULD BARLEY RETURN A CALL ONCE THEY GOT OUR MONEY.

This property has previously maintained a high standard of safety, professional management practices, and ADA compliance, and was highly rated by long term quality tenants. Unfortunately for the many elderly, disabled and working families who live here those standards are gone.New management has dropped this properties livability score to the lowest possible!☹️

My boyfriend ordered something off of amazon and wasn’t there when they came so they left it in the office; however when he went to go pick it up the office was closed.Keep in mind it was during the hours the office should have been open. This package was very important

I would give no stars if that was an option. Passed background check, passed credit check, met income requirements, Aftan declined us and application fees of $70 gone! Certainly suspicious! Someone needs to look into this from the social justice department!

You follow the rules take care of door notices dont argue about it keep your area clean and reasonably quiet dont go around bothering tenants neighbors keep your peace be respectful helpful and polite dont break any rules and keep your inside of hime presentable and be a good tenant and its really nice to live here. Im on ten years and very happy where Im at great twelve unit of neighbors we are a unite thats nit with people moving in and out just a little bit but nit bad were all helpful to eachother and its peaceful where were at. I dont think Id be comfortable anywhere else in bend so I hope to be able to stay cause I have nowhere else to go and no famiky. I love cedar west apt. Come. Check it out and follow my advice and youll find yourself well ti do here.

Things would be a bit better if they would FIX THEIR WEBSITE. I hate getting money orders when i can pay online

They need to get RID of the people who make this place so TRASHY! New Management would help! Updating Apartments would help and make this place livable! Yuck! Is what I say!

I love it here, the only ones who seem to have issues are the Ppl who dont follow the rules. An Ive heard stories bout our manager, bout how she is mean. I would disagree, in my opinion she is just being extremely professional. She does a good job, she is fair, an every complaint I have heard bout this place. It has been because they did something/some things they contractually signed saying they wouldnt. So I love it here. Great CLOSE shopping, an jus a few blocks from Pilot Butte, and they also have a gym for tenants in the office.

Apartments aren’t too bad. Neighbors are terrible and management doesn’t take care if it. Probably because they are never in the office, even when they are they don’t answer phones.

Been here 7 years and like the gentlemen who said its all about following the rules. I do just that and Ive had no problems but that my music was to loud and I was Im the wrong So now Im more careful. Its close to alo t of stores in walking distance and apartments nice inside all up to date and private back yard that we play in. I love in a 12 unit building and in the back far corner very chill and privet and couldnt ask for better neighbors they all keep to themselves but one who I dont like cause hes always drunk wanting to play with the kids and I make sure hes never alone arou them anyway I dont think I could find a better place. And management is fine they are just doing their job. If they were leinyent then everyone would expect special treatment too. Cedar west is a great place to live.
