The folks at Platinum Nails are truly kind-hearted people. I was a little scared to visit a salon for the first time, but as soon as I sat down to get my nails done, I relaxed a little. They are friendly and sweet, and on top of that their service is the absolute best! I made the mistake of visiting a different salon and realized how lucky I got finding Platinum Nails. The acrylics and gel polish are always consistent and look perfect. The pedicures are relaxing and fun. Their tech Nani (hope I spelled correctly) is UNBELIEVABLY talented at nail design; the details are crisp and beautiful. Please give them a try, I sincerely believe you won’t regret it.

I’ve been going to Platinum Nails since 2014. Nani does my nails and she is just the absolute best. You’ll need an appointment because she is just that good! Her parents are sweet angels who are also excellent at their job. I get so many compliments on my nails and I wish I could take credit but it is all due to Nani and her amazing artistry! I’m thankful to now call her a friend.

This is the only nail salon I will go to. They do such a great job! I’ve had gel and dip done and it always looks amazing, and lasts longer than other salons I’ve gone to. I brought my 3 year old niece to get her nails painted and she was a little shy, but they were so sweet and helped her become comfortable. I can’t say enough good things about this salon. Everyone is always so nice. They follow the Covid guidelines so I feel safe.

Friendly, fast, and my nails look amazing.

I have gone to Platinum nails at least 3-4 times before, never any problems. I called on a Tuesday to schedule an appointment and the only day/time that they were able to schedule me to come in was Saturday at 2pm (4 days apart). I wasn’t too happy to wait 4 days for my appointment so the employee that i was talking to also took my phone number to call if there was a cancellation. *4 days later* I go to Platinum Nails at EXACTLY 2pm and they say i don’t have an appointment. When they said they didn’t have me booked for an appointment there was no apology, but instead he was extremely rude and unprofessional. I always made sure I tipped VERY well and now they have lost me as a customer.

Best place Ive ever gone. Personal. nice. Very professional. I let the professionals do what they think is necessary for an awesome manicure look what comes from it. They know whats best. I am very busy professionally and my nails have last me as long as a month no chips or breaks before getting them redone. These are just a few pictures of my nails in the past but now Ive moved on to their dipping powder theyve always done an amazing job.

I suggested my daughter to go because I was recommended to them. She went and got acrylics. When she came back some nails were bowed and looked uneven and she wasn’t satisfied with the color either. When she went to go ask them to be fixed they said she would be charged an extra $25 if they fixed them and put a different color after she already spent $70 for nails she wasn’t satisfied with. I was surprised because every other nail company I went to would fix my nails no charge. As a nail company they should want their customers to be satisfied with what they paid for.

I moved here a year ago and my roommate loved this nail salon. When I asked who she recommends platinum nails was the only place she would ever go. I have loved this nail salon since the first day I walked in and I will not let just anyone do my nails. They are so knowledgeable and take the time to make your nails perfect. Every 3 weeks I get my nails done and they always look amazing. This is the best nail salon in the city of Dayton. They respect all of their customers and employees and treat everyone as they are part of their family. If you want your nails done the correct way with great friendly service go only to platinum nails. They will also fix your nails that most other salons mess up. Great quality work! Beautiful shop! I have been to plenty salons in the Dayton area and this is best one by far. They remember your name and are extremely professional. Everything is clean and organized. Says walk-ins welcomed upon availability...went in and told them I needed a fill and got turned away cuz they were full...there were 4 employees and 3 customers one employee was sitting playing on pjone...what happened to just waiting? Never been here and never will come back...

I tried to make an appointment 24 hours ahead and I was told there is only one person that does acrylics and she’s booked. He said everyone else does gel or french dip, which both are very expensive and I have bills. They’ve been in business for a long time so I’m assuming they built their business doing acrylics. Did the other techs forget how to do them? Anyway, my take on this whole thing is they don’t want my business unless I want to spend more money there and no one is going to tell me how to spend my money.

Max and family always are very attentive and talkative while they are getting things done PROPERLY! My wife loves going here because they are the best around. She does nails and hair and knows good work and only trusts her nails to Platinum.

I went in because I needed some corrective work done on my nails after a bad experience at another salon. Max took me as a walk-in on a Monday night and did an awesome job. I loved the family atmosphere of the salon. I will be back for sure!

Today was my first time at Platinum Nails and I loved it. I live a few hours away and needed to find a place while Im in town that does good work with reasonable prices. Great people in a friendly atmosphere. Professional skills by a Great Team. Call for appointment to make sure they have availability. Have come here for years, my nails were damaged by going to those assembly line salons. I was advised to stop having my nailbed filed down as it had been damaged. Max and his team started using gel polish to strengthen my nails. Now he has moved me to organic powder to continue to keep my nails healthy. They also offer an area for kids with princess chairs.

My first time here, they are all amazing and so funny and friendly! My nails look fantastic, I will not be going anywhere else!

Ive been here once and the service was great. I made a second appointment and the day of the appointment I had to cancel last minute because something came up. I called to let them know I needed to cancel the appointment and I heard the owner in the background say, in a snarky tone, theyre cancelling the same day? I found this very rude. The staff also complains frequently about how they dont enjoy walk in appointments.

I called to make an appointment. They wanted to charge by the length of the nail. Then requested a deposit before the appointment.No one pays a deposit for getting nails done.No one should pay a deposit. No one should pay a deposit for customer service work ahead of time because it could be horrible service

The people I dealt w were super nice and family oriented. But i was made to feel bad because I dont get sns nails and I get acrylic and my nails ended up looking like lumps of acrylic, like I had chiclets glued to my finger tips and every polish I chose was dried up. Not impressed as a first timer. If I ever wanna be made to feel cheap and get a bad manicure this is the place I will go.

I have been a loyal client of Platinum Nails for almost five years. I have deeply appreciated the skills of one of the nail techs whose name is Nani. She does phenomenal designs and is great at shaping and applying dip powder. I have sent many friends and family members to the salon and talked them up every chance I got. Unfortunately, a few negative events have caused me to decide to no longer give my business to Platinum Nails.1. I had an experience most recently on 10/16/2018 that did not sit well with me. A few months ago I was told randomly that dip powder now cost money to remove, but that it was still free to remove gel. I was told this was because they were trying to offset costs of doing dip powder. I started removing my own dip to save money once I was notified of the change. On 10/16 I came in with gel on and had them remove it. I was shocked when I saw my bill was higher than normal and I had indeed been charged for what should have been a free gel removal. I send a text to express my disappointment over the event and see what could be done. I went back and forth a bit, but ultimately I said if the dip price was the same $40 I had been paying with me removing all polish beforehand that I would be fine to continue coming. Mind you, it’s hard to find a good nail tech and I wasn’t particularly thrilled at the prospect. Nani’s response to me was not what I was expecting and came off rather defensive. I was told that she had been doing “favors” for me by not charging for shaping and cutting down my nails. I’m sorry girls, but it is common knowledge that those “favors” are included in the price. I don’t feel that it is ethical to change the price based on your mood that day. I have referred other friends and given them pricing only to find they had been charged a much higher rate than I was charged.2. It is the norm for the family to talk trash about clients when they leave or be rude to people that walk in and don’t have an appointment. I have disliked the negative atmosphere for awhile, but tried to stick it out because I truly love how my nails are done. I am not alright with people being talked about behind their backs. It is petty gossip that should not be said in front of clients ever. If someone talks ill of another in front of you, rest assured they are not speaking well of you either.3. For a client of almost five years I feel undervalued and unimportant. Look closely and you will see their attitudes are fake and you’re just a number to them. After the incident last night I understand that anything I say will be met with a defensive wall and no intentions of fixing what happened.I am not one who complains about regular prices trying to get a discount and I was made to feel like that was all I was doing. I tried to approach the situation with kindness and that was not reciprocated. It was evident that the only communication happening was the salon being defended and me being in the wrong. If my price is randomly raised I will absolutely say something every time, especially when I was told it was included. This salon is not for those that like to budget for these expenses.I called other nail salons in the area and got their prices on dip powder with removal and all the extra “favors”. I was given one solid price every time. There should not be hidden prices that you decide to use that day. It should be universal every time to ensure a positive and pleasant client experience.Update: I purchased my own drill and Kiara Sky dip powder kit and no longer have a need to go to the salon. It has already paid for itself in just a few short months. I would still recommend another salon over Platinum Nails.

So glad i went here today for a mani pedi. Great customer service, a very nice variety of services at affordable prices. I went with a friend and she got gel, i got traditional shellac and we both are pleased. I recommended my daughter go there and she also went today. The business is family run. Even has special seating for parents to bring children to get their own mini mani pedi. Other services are offered like waxing as well. Will go again.

I was treated very rude when trying to schedule an appointment for this up coming friday. The man was very short and unpersonable. No customer service skills. He kept telling me that what I wanted was very expensive as if to imply that I couldnt afford it. He kept trying to dissuade me all together from getting what I wanted. Saying to me they would be too busy & to go back to the person I was going to before. I was treated as if my business and money wasnt wanted. So I will never comeback.
