I attended a few times YEARS ago but stopped after being treated extremely poorly by one of the owners. Needed a manicure before my vacation. Decided to try again. Nails were done Wednesday evening. Picture is from Sunday evening. Polish is obviously cheap. Staff seemed disinterested in my pleasure during my service. I rarely get gel polish. A good, quality polish doesnt chip 2-3 days after a manicure. As such, I shouldnt have to get gel every time I get my nails done. Bottom line, I wont be returning.
This was my first time going to for a pedicure & manicure.I gave in ultimately after being forced by my wife and decided to try it out. I went out without knowing what to expect. I had a great experience. Staff was super friendly and nice. They did a good job on taking out all the dead skin I had accumulated over the years. I was amazed just looking at what all was coming after from scrubbing my feet lol. They are taking all the measures to keep the facility safe for everyone. They ask you to wash your hands when you enter the establishment.

I wish I could give 0 stars because that is what they deserve. I bought a manicure and pedicure package from Groupon. When I called to make an appointment today, a man told me Groupons were only for new customers and since I had a wax there 5 years ago, he would not honor it. He said, Didnt you read the fine print? You need to call them. I asked him if he really wanted to lose a customer because of that and he responded that he didnt want a customer like me anyways.

Went today for top eyeliner after buying a Groupon. AJ greeted me on the way in, had a wonderful chat while I was waiting. Z was amazing and incredibly patient with me during the process. Z and I talked after my appointment, and it was amazing to not be rushed out right away. While leaving got to chat with AJ some more and ended up booking my next appointment right then. Theyve definitely earned a forever customer.

Very relaxing atmosphere, I was warmly greeted and offered water or tea, the massage chair was my best friend lol. But honestly, when my every day is spent being a mom and fighting cancer, this place was the break I truly needed and I really appreciate how the girl that handled me made sure that I felt comfortable. Oh yeah, lets not forget, my toes and nails look SUPER CUTE! I can not wait to go back!
THE OWNER MADE MY MOM CRY.I purchased a Groupon package for this spa as a Christmas gift for my mom. I purchased a two-person spa package for the two of us to use together. We called and asked to schedule on February 26th, but were told they were booked that day. We ended up scheduling for March 26th (today) instead.My dad is currently deployed, so my mom was over-the-moon excited for our spa day today as a little pick-me-up. She called the spa yesterday to confirm, but was told that we were not scheduled for today. According to them, we had been scheduled on February 26th but had never showed. This doesn’t make any sense because we’d been told that day was booked!Assuming someone had simply made an error, my mom asked to get in touch with the owner to sort things out. She was told that he would call her in an hour. He never did. My mom tried calling several times and left a voicemail, but never heard back.This morning I woke up to a voicemail from my mom crying. She’d finally gotten in touch with the owner, AJ, and was treated very poorly. He had called her a liar and told her that if we wanted service, then we could “pay his employees’ salaries” since he’d had to pay them on the day we “never showed up.”I spent almost $200 on this Groupon and am very disappointed in the horrible customer service. Clearly someone at the spa had made an error when scheduling us, and my mom was demonized and degraded for it. Like I said, my dad is deployed right now and my mom was really looking forward to this.I went to Groupon to try to request a refund, but the spa had marked my voucher as redeemed on 2/26. Unbelievable!

Went with my bf per her recommendation for a Brazilian wax, I had never had one prior so I was nervous soon as I walked in. She went first then it was my turn, I asked the woman had she ever waxed plus size women before and she responded she has from there on out it was a breeze. The lady Z took care of me and we talked during the service until I couldn’t anymore. She was great highly recommend her:)

Horrible experience dealing with the owner on the phone. He argued with me bout a Groupon I bought for my mom. So then I just went ahead and paid AGAIN and gave a generous tip AGAIN. Then when my mom went to the appointment he called her mad saying she was late and was supposed to be there already. He had told her 1:30 and was calling by noon etelling her how badly she had inconvenienced him. Horribly unprofessional. I ended up paying $75 for a mani pedi that was supposed to be $27 on Groupon.
Loved the table massage before my flight back home! It was very relaxing and professional. I also opted for the 20 minute foot massage. I would definitely come back again next time I am in the city! The prices were very reasonable as well.
I have been to AJ’s numerous times and have always had fantastic visits and service. From the front desk to the people providing services everyone has been professional and personable. Maria, Kay, Marilyn, and Raquel are awesome nail techs that provide superior manicures and pedicures. I strongly encourage a visit to AJ’s Spa...you will not be disappointed!
Z is amazing! I drive 45 minutes to get a wax and let me tell you, it is worth the drive and the time. She is quick and always does a great job. I’ve tried other places near my home and they take forever, which makes it more painful and I get a rash. I am confused by the negative reviews about the owner. AJ is so nice and personable, he knows my voice when I call and always has polite conversations with me. The pricing is on point as well. I have never used any of their other services so I cannot comment on that, but I can tell you Z is top notch and has quite the following. She is always booked, but she does find time to get me in, which I really appreciate. I’ve never not been able to get in.

Initially went to AJs as Sony gave me a gift certificate to their Spa. I was very pleased with the quality of the service and the friendliness of the technicians. I have both a manicure and pedicure and did not feel rushed and thought they did a really nice job. The sillies is very clean and the equipment is in good working order. They offer a wide variety of services and I look forward to trying some of the other services that they offer.

I did a full spa. I would give this a 5 stars but the masseuse phone rang several times while giving a massage and she had in a mp3 player that I could vaguely hear. You would think massage and she did not do a massage That took away the tranquil part from the relaxing massage. The nail tech was a very professional and friendly. She did an amazing job.

The worst salon Ive ever been to!! I was lectured on how I should keep my cuticles up to make it easier on the nail tech. When it was time for my massage they couldnt find anyone to do it. Finally I was told they were ready. When I went into the room it was a lady I just watched give a pedicure!!! She had no idea what she was doing, she literally was karate chopping my back. Worst massage ever. During my facial they used steam directly in my face, I couldnt breathe, the lady was no where to be found and I couldnt reach it to move it being naked on the massage table. When I left that place I thought my horrific experience was over, boy I was I wrong. A couple weeks later a wart showed up on my foot from a dirty pedicure!! Unbelievable, that place needs shut down.
Ive been getting my eyebrows waxed here for the last two years or so and Ive never had any issues. My appointments start on time and Im usually in and out quickly which is much appreciated. I feel a lot of the people complaining are mistaking AJ and Zees direct approach as rudeness...
I shouldve read the reviews before going. The facility is nice and clean and massage rooms are spacious but most of the people there are terrible. I went with my sister and we did the whole spa package. Her nail artist Maria was very sweet, attentive and good but not the other staff. Her masseuse talked to her throughout the entire massage and made it difficult to relax. My masseuse kept talking to herself and complaining about how tired she was. While I personally feel bad for her I think the company shouldve made sure to staff someone who was more well rested. She also said another staff member at the spa was her enemy which seemed very unprofessional to me. On top of that when we asked how much the nail art was Maria said $5 but when we checked out they told us $20 which was a very sneaky way of doing business because they turned around and said $5 per nail. Even Maria felt bad because thats clearly not the instructions she received from the company. We ended up paying what they demanded but Im not even sure how much Maria will get from that when she did all the work. Feels like the company is going to take all of it. The company has good equipment but very poor client services over all. When it was supposed to be a nice relaxing day it didnt turn out to be that way at all. Not to mention I could hear people talking outside the whole time during my massage as well. Not sure how long Maria will be there but I would not recommend anyone else. The front desk staff are terrible.
Next time you need a mani, pedi, facial, or massage I would recommend coming here and asking for Taylor. She is very personable, professional, and does an amazing job!

I get my waxing done by Zee and always love the results, I appreciate how she makes the process comfortable and quick. The mani-pedis are great, the girls always do a great job on my nails!
I tried to schedule a Groupon appointment with AJs. I had been there in prior years with a good experience. But, the person that answered the phone was so nasty to me, I would never go back there or inquire there again. A spa is a place to focus on the customer, if you cant even assist a customer on the phone, you got problems! (I have never written a review before, but this was such an upsetting and frustrating experience, I needed to vent.)

I went to this salon with my friend from a Groupon. When we first arrived we were greeted by a female at the front desk whom was dressed very unprofessionally in sweatpants. We were then led to the back by this female to the very dim dismal appearance of what is supposed to be a Spa. My pedicure that I received was mediocre at best even though the female advised me she had been in the business for 10 years. The tiles by the nail area were filthy and stained. They looked like they hadnt been cleaned in god knows how long. The green carpet that was around the area was dirty too. Though, the staff were very friendly I dont think friendly compensates for a dirty spa and dismal appearance. My friend had her purse ruined by a spillage of acetone by one of the employees, her manicure was almost finished, when her person had another appointment abandoned her and was directed to the girl that did my manicure. There was bubbles on the polish and she didnt even buff the nails. While waiting for my friend another male arrived for a pedicure the basin was never even cleaned properly before the next client.Though who I believe to be is the owner was at the counter offered to correct my friends nails. I dont believe correcting the nails can compensate for a dirty salon.My advice save your money Groupon or not and go to another salon.
Let me start off by saying Maria and Marilyn were wonderful. The lady at the front desk had a terrible attitude. The owner AJ is a joke. AJ must stand for All Janky. I was definitely stereotyped by saying Oh this isnt the usual Chinese place you go. I will never patronize this fake spa again. Its a reason its on Groupon. The attitudes are horrible. After reading all the reviews its obvious they dont appreciate customers. I only gave 1 star because I couldnt give zero. Dont waste your time or money. The owner doesnt welcome criticism at all. Hes a joke. I would rather give anybody my money other than him. Update 6/19/19 Polish chipped off several nails overnight. Never again and I mean NEVER.
Was in the process of booking on Groupon when I called to see if I booked today can I use for the upcoming weekend. He told me if I paid over the phone I’d get more for my money. I took my boyfriend there it was his first time getting a massage. We were supposed to have a couples massage. However, was in separate rooms and it wasn’t very relaxing. While getting my massage I could hear multiple conversations on. My boyfriend kept stating his masseuse was a rookie and didn’t know what she was doing. The room was cold and afterwards my body had a lb of oil that remained with me throughout the day. They should invest in a soundproof room.

My friend and I came here bc we got a Groupon for mani/pedi, massage/facial for two. The customer service was great, the workers was nice. The spa is older looking, it’s not fancy at all but you get what you pay for. My only criticism is the tax. The owner demanded tax based on the original price, which totaled $40 something. This isn’t legal because you cannot impose tax base on the amount that the customer did not pay for. Example, you go to a store and buy clothes and you had a 20% off coupon, the tax would be based on after the discount, not the original price. Based on this alone, I would not go back. I’d rather use the extra money and go somewhere more upscale.

I had a Groupon to visit AJs for a massage, facial, mani and pedi. AJ was nice and was able to get me in the very next day. My first impression was that the facility was outdated. My massuse was nice. The massage was relaxing and wouldve been perfect if the head rest didnt move during the whole massage. The facial was just ok. The young lady was way too rough when wiping my face each time. Cleanliness is not at the top of the list here. The bathroom and pedicure area needed a deep clean. I was a little disappointed that the massage function on the pedicure chairs were broken. The mani/pedi was rushed and the young lady was a little too rough during the pedicure. I had to remind her twice that she was hurting me. It wasnt until my toe started bleeding that she let up. Im glad I didnt pay full price.
I come to Ohio every couple months and one of the things that I look forward to is getting my pedicure and waxing services done at AJs Spa Millennium. The ambiance is perfect, customer service is great, and the attention to detailed oriented services is second to none. If you are in the area you should treat yourself to services at AJS Spa Millennium!

I have been going to Z at spa millennium for about five years now. Z does the best eyebrows in the city hands-down Ive been to many other popular high-end salons and she has the best shaping skills on the city!

I left work early and drove for almost an hour only to be greeted by the rude owner.I was unable to use the groupon... However if I wanted to pay the full amount I was welcome to do that.. Customer service is something he knows nothing about!!Not only did they lose me as a client.... but I was going to recommend the spa as a place for our staff outing (close to the freeway and hotels and dinning ) But after the warm greeting... I drove back to the office telling them dont bother to call thatplace!!!

Went in for massage, facial, mani/pedi. Had to wait 30 minutes after my scheduled time. Place is dirty and old looking. My massage and facial were both good but they tried to make me pay $10 to soak off my gel polish. They don’t do any kind of gel nails. My husband purchased a Groupon a head of time so I wasn’t able to alter my service in any way. So I left without getting my nails done. I won’t be back!
I received a Groupon as a gift and when I went to use it was told I needed to have an ID with me, which I did not happen to have at the time. However, this was no where to be mentioned on the Groupon or website. They said they would make an exception so had me get undressed for my service, only to come in and tell me later that they refused to treat me without a license, while I was sitting there naked. So unprofessional. So rude. I will never be back and would NOT recommend them.
So I found this spa on groupon, and I snagged a deluxe mani pedi for my mother and I. Honestly, I enjoyed myself. The owner seemed polite and low-key. The building itself isnt the most fancy, but it seems that they do their best to keep it clean and inviting. It was homey and I didnt feel intimidated at all walking into the building. The two ladies that assisted us where honestly so sweet and sociable. They knew what they where doing, most notably when my mother mentioned that she had a broken nail and they took care to be extra gentle with it. I chose gel polish for my fingers and normal polish for my toes. I couldnt be happier with how they turned out and I cant wait to show them off this holiday season. Thank you so much! I went with my friend and we bought the deluxe mani/pedi from groupon. They seemed very rushed and in a hurry like they barely had time to squeeze us in but the place was dead inside, (should have been a red flag). First of all their color selection was tiny. I asked if they had gel colors because I like to do gel on my finger nails and regular polish on my toes. They said it would be a $28 up charge for gel just for the hands. Now I figured there would be an up charge, but i normally dont even pay $28 total for a gel manicure let alone just the up charge, so that wasnt going to happen. My friend that I went with has acrylics on and we didnt find out until we selected our pedicure colors that they dont do acrylics. They told her they would charge her an additional $28 to take them off! We were definitely not doing that because thats extremely overpriced. So we asked if we can just redeem the pedicures and get the manicures at a different time, since my friend needed a fill-in and they werent able to do that there. The girls said yes and we continued to finish up with our pedicures. My pedicure was okay, not the best I ever had but not terrible. My friends was sloppy. At the end of the pedicure the girl tells us she was mistaken and we actually cant redeem the manicure later and we would basically have to take a loss. Wish we would have known before because we would have went somewhere else. I would not reccomend and I will not be back. The results are not worth the price that they charge. Kinda unprofessional as well. The girls doing our pedicures were talking about the twerking lessons they give at work

Hated it! Truly, it is THE WORST experience your money can buy. You will be greeted by the rude owner. He will decline to schedule you for service accusing you of using somebody elses Groupon purchase for no reason at all. Availability? They will have none until a few months. Say you do make it in there regardless of all the difficulties, while girls will be giving you a manicure, three of your fingers will get such rough cuts they will bleed. I will say nothing of the fact that the manicurist does not know how to do a simple french manicure all while sniffling and whipping her nose on her sleeve as she touches your hands. But really the highlight of this place is the owner who is the rudest and most inappropriate man you can come across. No such thing as customer service exists in this place.
This place has a very rude and unprofessional employees named Zanna or something like that she states she is known or called by everyone as Z. I have used this place in the past with my Groupon coupons many times but today of all day this Z person wanted me to know that the Groupon coupon is only for new customers and that I should have bought one of their coupons when I bought my blind granddaughter there in the past. When i tried to explain to this person that when i called before they didnt have a problem taking my coupons before nor has anyone had a problem with the Groupon coupons being used before. She really tried to get high on her horse and refused to service my blind granddaughter and told us we can go elsewhere if we like and i told her that that was very unprofessional of her and rude and i informed her that i do know the owner AJ and will duscuss this behavior with and she said you can call him too if you like he will be in an hour. This is when I realize as much as I have been there in the past, I have never dealt with this rude individual in the past and if I did TRUST I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THIS SPA. Most of the employees there are nice especially Maria who I have worked with in the past and she would be the one we would missed the most. AJ SPA services and professionalism has dropped so far down and people to talk that you may want to consider giving your money to other SPA businesses that appreciate you enough to realize the only real reason any of them have jobs is because we patron their establishment. Maybe when this Z person as she likes to be called realize the reason she has a job is because of the people who are willing to pay for a professional service given, just maybe this might help to change her NASTY attitude and become more professional and maybe AJ should pay more attention to the staff he hires before his business tanks due to rude, bad unprofessional employees. I wouldnt even give this place a 1 star more like no stars and definitely no referrals.
Got a Groupon for a Brazilian wax. It was my first time to the spa and my first time being waxed. The aesthetics at the spa were great and the staff was kind. The wax went great and Z really knew what she was doing. Thank you AJs Spa for a great first experience! I will defiantly be back.
It was just horrible. Receptionist was extremely rude. I didnt feel welcome as soon as I stepped in. Facial was a total joke- a woman ( cant call her a cosmetologist) put on me three products ( who knows what kind) in a completely dark room. How can you use any products If you didnt even look at the skin, without knowing your skin type or concern. It took ten-fifteen minutes at most!! Its dangerous to perform the facial this way, since you can easily make the skin problems worse. The same person does massages, facial and pedicure- for the normal salon its unheard of. I am very disappointed, waste of time and money.

I would not describe this place as a spa. Its really just a salon and not even a good one! My first impression of the place was awful. The owner was sitting in the front of the salon by the door smoking and talking on the phone. There are cigarette butts all on the ground and in the flower beds. Can you say tacky!!! Most top quality spas promote health and dont have you go through a cloud of smoke before entering their establishment. The inside is OK. There were some areas that were clean and other areas that were dirty. I expected this to be a top notch salon since it was in Beachwood but boy was I mistaken! On a positive note, there is one hairdresser who is very professional and does a great job. I am not sure how long she will last.Buyer BEWARE!!! There are many top notch spas in Cleveland. AJs is not one of them. Dont waist your time and especially not your money!
The lady who gave me the massage was ok. The real problem is that when I was receiving the massage I heard people laughing so loud outside my room. It was terrible. All I heard the entire time is people laughing and talking. There was NO relaxation at all. Waste of money and my time.

The salon costs more than the average place and has much less to offer. When booking a day for a mani/pedi I told them I was going to purchase a groupon and use it that day. They made me pay right away over the phone instead of just purchasing the groupon online. Walking into the salon I see why they want to secure that money right away. It looks straight out of 1980, all mauve and dated. I can deal with that if everything was clean but its not. Im not sure they properly clean their tools for the nails which is a big concern. The lady cut my cuticle and I was bleeding. The instruments were just laying out and Im not sure had been sanitized. They dont have much of a selection for colors. I upgraded my groupon from regular polish on my fingers to gel and the upgrade was an additional $29. Two of the gel colors I wanted were not available. Also I had to wait on my friend for her to get her nails done first because they only have 1 lamp! They said they had 2, but one broke and the owner is slow to replace it. They also dont have one of those lights to put your feet under to dry your regular polish and my toes ended up smudged and look bad. They said they use a quick dry top coat and its just as good, but clearly its not. So it ended up totaling $75....and thats with the groupon! Granted I left a $10 tip because I understand its not the nail techs fault. Yes, she cut me. However mistakes happen. She was nice and it was an accident. She was working with what she had. The front desk receptionist is also not helpful. Someone took our coats when we came in and we had to remind them like 3 times that we didnt know where our coats were placed before she got up to get them so we could leave. The owner needs to implement changes. I definitely wouldnt return there. All I wanted was to be pampered before the birth of my baby in a few days. But yikes, what an awful experience.
How are they still in business???? I should have read the reviews as well. Bad service is an understatement rude is a compliment. I purchased a Groupon asked for an upgrade for a gel manicure with a pedicure, however within 12 hours the gel had peeled off like Glue. When I called back to ask for a refund I was told I could get one and I just had to come in. When I did come in I was told absolutely not I would never get a penny back. I asked to talk with the owner the owner was not available at the time. Then I spoke with the owner on the phone he agreed to return the money I spent on the upgrade. But refuse to give me a full refund. I had depended on the them for very professional work and I had to at the last second find a place to get nail polish and do the job myself. When I pushed for a full refund the owner told me I was EVIL A THIEF and told me to GO TO CHURCH. Next, he said And now youre not getting anything back zero nothing. I spent over $75 for this mani pedi. It was the worst experince I have ever had going to a mani pedi. I WOULD HIGHLY AVOID GOING HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WAS YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!!!
The rooms are not much to look at probably needs remodeled but the staff makes up for that! they are very nice and the mani pedi I bought from LivingSocial was a great deal!! since that was for first time customers only they enticed me to come back with an unbeatable Spa Day package (massage, facial, mani/pedi)...I bought multiple ones because they never expire and I could share as a gift or break it up into multiple days....very impressed and also not understanding the negative reviews...
I bought a Groupon the other week for a mani pedi at an amazing price. I accidently scheduled it on the wrong Tuesday morning, and thankfully the front desk girl fit me into the schedule. The young lady I had Alicia (sp?) was wonderful! She was sweet, attentive, hard working, and very motivated. She made sure my nails looked perfect for my trip! Very pleased with everyone I spoke with there. Will definitely be visiting again. Much better then any other nail place I have recently gone to down on Chagrin Blvd area ( Prive, Fabuleux Nails).

Unfortunately I cannot comment on their services because I didnt make it in the door. The staff and owner are rude and unprofessional. I called 22 hours before a spa day to cancel because my mother was sick (due to her pancreatic cancer). When I explained the situation to the owner the was not willing to bend on the policy that I would lose the promotional value of my voucher for not canceling 48 hours in advance. No empathy for my mother who has cancer. Luckily a kind person at living social refunded my money because of my terrible experience. I would never set foot in this salon.
This is by far the best place to get a brazillian. What can normally be a painful 30-40 minutes, always takes less than 10 minutes here. Im moving soon, and this place is one of the things Ill miss most!

There is no way the masseuse was certified, massage was not good at all... it started off with something shattering on the floor then passing gas during the massage... I mean seriously!?!? My wife thought I was playing a practical joke on her... the pedicure seats were literally office chairs with buckets of water that were transferred to and from the chairs.HORRIBLE.
