I went to this salon after another salon totally jacked up my nails LOL. My nail tech was Q & he was really kind and understanding! He removed the terrible design, reshaped them, & gave me a clean, 3-coat paint job. He painted one nail as an example before finishing my other nails. He was super accommodating. Loved their service and the atmosphere of the salon.Cons: The wait time was a bit longer than anticipated & the work station was not fully cleaned before my service.

The were friendly and did a fantastic job fixing a poor manicure I got elsewhere. I will definitely be returning.

My daughter an I got our nails done Saturday 1/17/21 an as of 1/18/21 we no longer have any of them on The nails an acrylic cone off together my nails we’re on even an the nail tech couldn’t stay off the phone

I only get my nails done a few times a year, but Ive tried a number of different nail salons in town since I moved here. No terrible experiences, but none that really stood out. Until today! I will definitely be coming back to Vela! Close to home and Im pretty pleased with their work. I will definitely be back!I was looking for a new place to try that was closer to my house and picked Vela based off online reviews and location. I went in for the dip powder on my nails and needed a tip put on one because it broke off pretty short last weekend. They did a fantastic job! Last time I had to get a tip put on (Im rough on my nails) at a different salon, they just glued it on and painted over it. It was awkward and lumpy looking. I guess I didnt know any better, that was the first time I had ever had that done for me, I always just have my natural nails. But today, the lady that did my nails at Vela took her time and made sure the acrylic tip was filed down so it doesnt look lumpy. You cant tell its there, blends right into my own nail. It also seemed like there were several regular customers in there which I think is another good sign. The people that work there all seem very nice and the prices were good/average for Baton Rouge, I think. I would definitely recommend giving them a try!

Love them! Went once and I will say I will be going here forever ! They make conversation even though they don’t speak much English. My nails have been on and haven’t lifted! Plus 10 percent off after you go four times ! The place is also nicely decorated . Keep it up!

Juan does great work on your nails as well as the atmosphere is relaxing. They are gentle and very kind people. This was my first time going to this shop and I will definitely be back.

I love this place. I moved to the city from another state almost a year ago and I’ve gone through quite a few nail shops here . I wear my natural nails and I like to keep them strong and healthy. I use dip powder and I have not had one issue with my nails or polish since coming to this shop. I love how neat and organized the shop is. It’s rarely super busy so I can get in and out with no issue. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the services is high.

Only reason why I didnt give 5 stars was due to the terrible massage music playing over and over in the background. Makes me want to pull my hair out. Get some different music already!

Horrible customer service. I didnt feel welcomed at all. Me and my friend were looking at colors In the front of the nail salon, and I was asked to have a seat like a child. Never got any Services there, and I never will.
