The oil change was not completed correctly causing oil to leak out from the filter. I brought it back in to address the problem with the manager after having already had to get it fixed due to significant loss of oil and not wanting to drive it back out of concern for damaging my car by driving with significant oil leaking out and oil light on. The manager treated me rudely and swore at me when I was attempting to find a resolution to the problem. He then said it was my fault and that my car was already leaking. The car was not leaking prior and is not currently leaking after changing the filter they used and replacing the oil. The manager got even angrier when I told him it felt as though he was dismissing me because I am a woman.and would not give me contact information for his boss or the owner. He treated me this way in front of the employees and other customers. Do not recommend.

As soon as I started it after the oil change it sounded like it was going to stall so I shut it off and we checked the oil and it was clearly overfilled but that’s not causing the problem and the dude kept saying I don’t know seems mint while there was a obvious noise right in his face. keep in mind it was running PERFECT right before they drove it in and the guy acknowledged that when I was talking to him after.

I have used them for a couple years and had good service. ButToday the workers were complaining and I could not tell if it was about my vehicle or notAlso after oil fill, no start up to check for leaks or verify oil level was correct.Other fluids also were not checked as part of the service so I pulled over after I left to check for myself.They wanted me out of there McQuickly so I will not return

Friends and family do not use mr. Quirks Lube Hogan Road Bangor. An associate whom works there left a derogatory letter on my child dashboard after having service done on her car... the manager refused to accept that someone of his employment left such a note. It doesnt matter if there is a minor driving or an adult driving the inappropriateness of this Behavior deserves reprimanding bad review from Mister Quick Lube....

Working in the trades I have operated many company vehicles. One company in particular, where I worked for 5 years, used Mr. Quick’s Oil Lube on Stillwater Ave in Bangor for their regular oil changes. It was so easy, whenever the truck needed an oil change, bring it home with you that day and get paid for the 15 to 20 minutes it took while relaxing in the waiting area. After years of this, I decided the convenience was such that I would begin bringing my wife’s personal vehicle in for oil changes. I began taking her Honda CRV there regularly since about 2016. On 2-14-19, Valentine’s Day, I stopped by and like any other day, jumped out of the car and went to read the signs in the waiting area while services were being performed. This time however, the wait was excessive. I didn’t see a lot of other people, no more than usual, but it wasn’t dead in there either. I wasn’t going to make an issue of it, just remain patient and see what happens. My oil change was done in about 30 minutes. I paid my bill and left with no issues communicated to me. Fast forward a few months (where we would normally get an oil routine change) and we decided to take a trip to NH with our kids for a mini vacation. We rented a nice Infiniti and scheduled any and all services needed on the CRV with our regular mechanic and dropped it off before heading south. On day 2 of our vacation, I got a call from my garage. They informed me that everything was done except for the oil change, and that there was a problem. The manager went on to describe the nature of the problem, being very cautious not to imply wrongdoing by another servicer. He stated that there was a small crack right where the drain plug goes into the oil pan, but that he couldn’t really get a good look through all of the hi-temp silicone all over the head of the plug. I told him it sounds like someone wound the drain plug in so hard that they cracked the pan. Immediately I recalled the excessive wait time on 2-14 at Mr Quick’s.Lucky for me, I have a great relationship with my garage and have been going to them for everything except oil changes for years. I trust them and they have never tried to pull a stunt like this on me or anyone I know. Mr Quick’s screwed up big time, and couldn’t even come clean about it. They nervously attempted to bandage the issue and get me out the door, and they succeeded. They got my money, relayed no information to me about the damage, and I didn’t figure out the problem for 3 more months. I have not reached out to them because I already know exactly how it will end up. I will get angry and they will get away with it. They know damn well what they did, so does my mechanic, and so do I.I have since paid $900 to replace the pan, and I am not looking forward to the cost of getting the oil stains out of my driveway, due to the amount of time it has taken me to get things in order and be without the car for the length of time needed to replace the oil pan.People say “why don’t you just bring it back to them, they have to come good for it.” No, they SHOULD come good for it, but we know they won’t. My best course of action is to have a conversation with every driver I know and ask where they have their regular oil changes done, and share this story and all the frustration with them to deter from spending any money at Mr Quick’s. I will not stop until your doors close permanently. You can’t be a dishonest and shady business and not expect that one day you’ll cross the wrong mf guy. I have better networking skills than your best advertising agent, and I will destroy your bottom line for worse than you did mine.

I had gone to the Bangor location and they had forgotten to put my oil cap on, which I had realized a week later. HOWEVER, Dave the manager was SO kind. He drove to my apartment to put oil into my car, and the next day he had me drop my car off and he redid my oil change, cleaned out my engine cavity AND paid for me to get a car wash. I am so pleased with the exceptional customer service!

After an oil change was done, an employee drove the car out of the bay without a mask on. Nothing was wiped down, he just got out and walked away. Management was called and basically said, So? - Wont be back.

My manufacturers recommended synthetic oil change and full tire rotation was 30 percent higher priced at Mr Quicks on Stillwater Avenue in Bangor than the New truck selling dealer, so if the convenience is worth 30 percent to you, go here.$104 for oil change and tire rotation.

Best ever really decent ppl

I went there, customer service was great and they did the oil change quickly.It was great until I noticed that the workers had broken off my dipstick inside the engine and did not tell me about it. Upon calling back, the manager said that the company is not responsible for literally damaging my vehicle. I now have to pay a my mechanic money to fix the damage as well as a dipstick replacement. All in all, if they damage your vehicle, they are not responsible for it. Disgusting. I discourage people from going there for the safety of their vehicle.

From my one visit, they ruined my oil pan, and stripped the stud of one of my tires. They lacked the tools or parts to replace either, leaving me responsible for fixing both.

I have been coming here for years, with lots of vehicles .They are wonderful. Always quick, professional and knowledgeable. They use the right oil (and other fluids) for the vehicle (from my experience Saab, Volvo, GMC) sometimes the younger guys have been a little pushy with me, trying to upsell unnecessary other services (air filter/coolant flush) but hey thats their job. Comfortable and CLEAN waiting area with plenty to look at and free WiFi. Staff is friendly and pricing is certainly on par for services.

I was very unhappy with my experience here. I went to get my oil changed and realized they charge $10 more than the people I normally go to, then once my oil change was over with I went out to my car to find that my key fob was no longer in tact, it was hanging on by a thread and they didnt bother to tell me. Im not sure if they thought I wouldnt notice, but I did. When I asked them what happened the guy that worked on my car was nowhere to be found. They claimed the key was loose when they drove it in, but I had just turned it on and off 10 minutes before with no issues. They did nothing about it and told me to super glue it back together. Never going there again.

Theres really only 1 rating I can give to a place that upgraded my oil filter to a mobil-1 filter for an extra $16 without asking or mentioning it.I doubt that the upgrade was some kind of special necessity for my car since Ive never had this upgrade at Prompto.Side note: My passenger wiper was nearly broken off, but on the invoice, wipers were checked off as being ok. That didnt totally annoy me because I wouldnt have purchased their likely overpriced wipers. Its just evidence that their extensive list of extras is hit or miss.
