I got a screw in one of my tires and I had to replace all 4 due to my AWD vehicle and tire could not be fixed. It happened on a Saturday afternoon around 5. They where able to get me in before they close for the day. Cindy was pleasant to deal with. I was in and out less than a hour. Thank you very much.

We had a flat tire in Millinocket, Maine. I called to make an appointment for new tires the next day. The staff made room for us. Robin welcomed to the store and helped me determine the best tires for our Subaru Outback. The work was done in a timely fashion while we went mt. biking nearby (Bangor City Forest). We appreciate the timely, informative and friendly service. I would return to this VIP if it was closer to my home.

This is probably the best location I have ever been to. The nice woman that was helping me when I was out just getting quotes on tires is what made me come back here. Her name was Cindy Lou and she was so busy and workers and clients were coming up to her one after the other but she didnt miss a beat! She smiled the whole time and never cracked. She informed me also about the price matching and it was bc of the great customer service she gave that I came back here instead of going to Sams Club. I was with a friend this past Saturday who unfortunately hit a pothole the size of Texas on an exit ramp off of I95 and therefore affected her alignment as well as created a new grinding sound when applying the brakes. She called and they immediately scheduled an appointment, and performed an alignment and also reassured her that the grinding would go away because the new style brake pads sometimes shed tiny metal pieces but go away. Likely a small piece of metal broke loose but has been fine ever since. While I was there, I shopped around for a few items and the staff was friendly and helpful. The service waiting area was clean, had a selection of coffees and teas and a TV to wile away the time. All in all a great experience and was back on the road in no time!

I did an initial review and changed it. Then changed again but im so frustrated and still have to bring my vehicle to an actual Chevy dealership. After they reset my throttle a lean code popped up that had never been there before. They tried to figure it out. I picked up my vehicle with 1/4 tank of gas left in it. As soon as I put gas in it the check engine light came back on. It made a funny noise when I put it in reverse that wasnt there before. I ended up buying a code reader and scanner to find out which code was showing. Yet again the mysterious lean code that had never been there before. I just cant even. That code is dangerous.

I recently purchased a used car and I went in to simply have it looked over. The cost was reasonable and the employees took their time to explain any issues with my vehicle as well as the condition. This store has a very respectful and friendly staff. I’m going in again later this week for snow tires. :)

Excellent professional service. Dropped my car off to have winter tires installed. Shop couldnt get the tires that I had ordered so they discounted a more expensive option for me instead. No pressure to get additional services either. They simply mentioned what they thought and gave me a quote (failed alignment) but were not pushy when I said it would need to wait. Very good experience.

Needed new tires and brakes asap and they got me in the next morning and by that afternoon all was done and the price was right. Very friendly staff and I will going there again for my next service.

Avoid this shop. I brought my vehicle in because it was making a horrible noise. was called 2 days later and told it was my right rear wheel bearing. I said it didnt sound like that to me but if its bad replace it but please TEST DRIVE it to make sure the sound was gone. I picked it up the next day payed over $600 and made it to the lights by wal-mart and heard the same noise i heard when i dropped it off, went back and the mechanic said oh well your spare tire assembly is loose its that making noise, i can take it down if you want. so i let him. I left and heard the SAME NOISE STILL!! Frustrated i drove home scared of something breaking or falling off my car, over 20 miles drive home. Brought my car to a local mechanic the next morning and he said the LEFT REAR WHEEL BEARING was so bad hes surprised the wheel didnt fall off. He charge me $300 for the same work but a different side of the car. WHAT THE HELL VIP. clearly the mechanic did not test drive it like i asked. also how was the price double my local SMALL Garage? I also left feedback on your main website but got 0 responses via email or call. HORRIBLE service fraudulent work and now my spare tire apparatus is in your dumpsters GREAT

Travelling through BANGOR and had a light come on, Subaru wasnt able to help, but Jon was very helpful with an engine light issue, he was very busy but paused long enough to get and read the code.

Great place! Slow leak in a tire led to needing a complete replacement. Have been in twice now, can’t say enough good things about all the staff I’ve had experiences with. Always helpful extremely responsive on the phone. Can’t say anything negative about these guys at all. Cameron does a great job, you can tell he wants to get you the best deal possible. I will be taking all my vehicles here going forward. Truly, can’t say enough good things!

I live just outside of Old Town, and used the Old Town VIP one time.I decided to try the Stillwater Avenue VIP location to see if the customerservice was more to my liking; well yes they do not make you feel rushed,I felt like a valued customer when I went in for my oil change.I was taken in on time....I was shown my dirty air filter....I have stopped in on a couple of occasions to have my tire pressure checked, no waiting it was never a hum or a ho it just happened.I think Old Town VIP could take some customer service lessons from their partner at the Stillwater Ave Store.I will continue to use the Stillwater location for all my service needs.Sincerely,Kathy Merrrill

I came in with a TPMS sensor light was on & discovered that my brakes had less than 1 month left on them. Not only did Jon discount them, but they were able to fit them in while I waited & also replaced my plate light as a courtesy. Great service and help from the Bangor team!

Best place ever to get your vehicle done at. Great ppl honest and pleasant help myself and the wife out. Fixed someone else’s screw up. Helped us find a hotel after we got stranded away from home and made our car a priority so we could get home to our kids.

Made an online appointment for an alignment. I arrived for my 8am appointment and was told since I booked online it would take a little longer because it was double booked. I said that was fine, although if you cant handle the online booking then you need to remove it from your website. I returned 3 hours later to find my truck had not even been brought into the shop and the guy who came out to read the odometer left my key on. The alignment rack was empty, just as it was when I left. There is no reason an alignment couldnt have been done in 3 hours. I would pay 3x the price to have my vehicle somewhere they do what they said they would.

I had an 11am appointment today for an AC recharge and an oil change. I was told by Cameron when I made the appointment that it would be an hour to an hour and a half. I confirmed again with Cameron when I dropped off at 10:55 that it would be an hour to an hour and a half. I checked in at 12:30 and Cameron said it was still charging and would be another 20-30 minutes. I made it quite clear at that time that I was not happy. I came back a little before 1pm and was told that it was just coming off the charger and they were ready to start the oil change, ready in 30 - 45 minutes. Needless to say I left without my oil change and everyone knew how I felt. No offer of compensation, no explanation, and no apologies from VIP. EDIT: Cameron called me to personally apologize for the scheduling conflict. I dropped off yesterday for the oil change that I missed as well as to get a full AC service. I was charged only for the AC parts and the oil change was free. They fixed my original AC issue of heat blowing in the passenger compartment.

The interactions I had with the mechanics were great! They were polite and professional. They had a list of work that needed to be done and were willing to go through and show me why, which I appreciate immense amounts. Although they did try to show me my tire treads being too low and ended up finding they were in regulation after they charged me for new tires.The down side is they did work I did not ask for or need, they did realize this and gave me a slight discount but I still had to foot most of the charges.The biggest thing is they fixed my muffler because of a minor issue preventing them from passing inspection. They replaced it but they did not do it properly because I can hear a loud noise when I am driving under my seat. When I brought it back the next day they said it was fine and not to worry.

The employee that dealt with me was not rude he was just enforcing store policy of VIP their policy should be selling parts not telling people they have to wear masks it is all right to wear one or not it is not your right to enforce it then he asked me to leave or wear one I told him I was not going to wear one and he asked me to leave if it is store policy to harass your customers about mass and theyre not welcome without them then Im not welcoming your store that is a very bad policy to be a dictatorship do not harass customers on wearing masks or not I went down the road to advance Auto part and spent $400 there instead of in your store because I was not allowed to shop at VIP because of your policies

Extremely friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The guy working on my car brought me out and showed me everything that was wrong with my car, the things he was gonna fix and the things I should maybe consider replacing at some point in the future. For someone not so mechanically inclined it was extremely informative. Good service all around.

Excellent bunch of guys here. Always willing to help and educate customers. Professional atmosphere, they will not make things up that are wrong but will let you know if things are worn out, or if preventive maintenance is due or will be due. I always feel confident that when i leave my vehicle its safe and I dont have to worry about the quality of the work because its always top notch.

Went in to have work done on our Dodge Caravan--it had a bad tire and was leaking coolant. VIP was able to get us in and get the work done quickly for a reasonable price. Very happy with the work done, and will definitely consider them again for future auto repair needs.

Pick a different location, Odlin road is much better.Most VIPs in the area are ok, always something at stillwater. Got to wait around for an opening because they lost my appointment. UPDATE waited for an hour to hear sorry bud cant get you in. Going somewhere else.Pay no mind to the response from owner below. I emailed them and got no response. Just left Sullivan Tire right up the road, going to sullivan from now on.

Everyone in the store was respectful. Jeremy was the man that took care of my car. He listened to me and was respectful. He would talk to me and tell me what he was doing, and if it was going to cost me more, me made sure to ask me before he did it. It was a nice experience.

They answered all of my questions, they were thorough, not pushy, and the price was fantastic!! I am the person who will use a service or quit using a service based on their customer service. I have had my car over to the Stillwater location 2-3 times in the last month for various reasons. I will continue to use VIP as long as there are people there like Jeremy and Jon. They are friendly and outgoing and take good care of me and my car.

The guys at VIP were awesome. They found me affordable tires and explained to me why my tires went bald so quickly. I had to be at class a certain time and they were able to put the tires on and do an alignment all before I had to be to class.

Ive gone to this VIP for a few years now, and they are always very helpful and work with me in terms of price and scheduling. Sometimes the wait is a little longer than I want, but thats just to be expected. Ive brought two cars there now and I still use this VIP till this day with good experiences!

I usually go to town fair tire but I was able to find a great deal on a new set of summer tires through VIP. They were able to get me in early and put the tires on in a timely fashion. The extra tire warranty is also very reasonably priced! I will be returning!
