My check engine light was on. It needed an O2 sensor. I scheduled an appointment and while I was there had an Oil change and the tires rotated. They had to get the part from another store gave me a loaner car and had it all fixed back up and running within four hours. Everyone working there was professional and made you feel comfortable and at home.

I have been taking my car to Midas for years. Being a women I have to worry about certain places trying to take advantage of me. Eric and Nate have always been straight forward, I can trust there word and know they are being honest with me.

I experienced the Midas touch when I brought my car here. Needed a new catalytic converter. They got me right in, gave me the estimate and even a loaner car for the day!🤯 Came in under the estimate and was back on the road, a happy camper!

They’re very helpful and super friendly! They make sure that at any time you know what you’re gonna be paying, and there’s never any surprises at the end. They won’t randomly do work without your OK. I believe the work is superior, and would recommend them toanyone.

As luck would have it, my Cadillac started having problems at the TOP of Cadillac Mountain! I was sure it was a wheel bearing and feared the worst (my wheel would fall off halfway down the mountain!). I got down the mountain safely and rolled into Midas. Im glad I did! Nate and Eric were awesome! Turns out my problem was brakes, not a wheel bearing (many mechs would have tried to sell me BOTH). Eric was incredibly knowledgeable and HONEST. He knew I wanted to get back on the road, so he helped me identify problems with my truck that could wait (ie: safe trip home) until I got back to Key West. OUTSTANDING! I wish I had them near me, Id give them ALL of my repair work.

On a busy Saturday morning they were able to squeeze me in, perform an inspection and replace the necessary brake parts.

Exceptional customer service. Services provided in timely matter. Estimates were spot on. No surprises. They can expect to see me in the future.

An absolute disaster. Went in to have snow tires changed and muffler welded on. 3 hours later and the rear tires were left at 13psi. They forgot to give me my snow tires back... And the muffler... See the picture.I only gave 1 star so I could write a review.

My car started squealing loudly from the right side on our family by car vacation. I had been aware of the problem before leaving for our trip – and had brought my Jeep into my local dealer in Morristown New Jersey where they had performed lubrication and told me the car was just fine.I was skeptical about bringing our car into a random Midas, but Nate, my service advisor, put me at ease when he said look were not gonna do anything you dont need were not the cheapest place in town but were fair and were straight. That was supported by the reviews. Bringing my car in was relatively straightforward and they had a loaner - which nobody else had. I went and had breakfast and by the time I was done they had found the problem – a seized caliper and a broken rear shock. The problem was so profound the caliper was just about to go metal on metal to the rotor.So off to the golf course for me…. By the time I was done they were finishing up my car. I brought this car into my dealer twice this year asking why the back end of my car felt a little squirrely… I have no idea how this was missed. Our return home trip was 500 miles – the car felt completely different – much firmer in the back-the brakes obviously silent and much smoother.Midas and team Nate got it thank you thank you thank you.

We had a water pump go at a business across the road and they very quickly took care of the issue and even offered a rental! I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service which I feel was the best I’ve ever received from a garage outside of an actual dealership. Good communication and explanations given, and I saw the amount of research they did on parts needed for my foreign car while I was waiting for my ride. Also the waiting room was very clean which I appreciate. Will definitely be back for other services!

Thanks to not driving nearly enough in 2020, an enormous mouse nest was constructed in my heater box. My car has no cabin air filter, so it was bad. Mouse dropping dust blowing out the vents, AC/heat choking, condensation freezing onto the inside of my windscreen...And the SMELL...So, inspection month rolls around, and I gotta bring my poor baby in. Been using this Midas for years, so I already trusted them, but wow. They did an extra amazing job. Vacuumed out the nest and even the tubes running to the air vents, then fixed up my AC so it can actually defog the windscreen. Even did some simple tuning to fix a weird low idle issue. What used to be an unlivable nightmare is now a happily breathing sedan. No more interior ice. No more strange flapping noises from the air system. No more hanta dust. I cant even smell mice in the ventilation air anymore. Rather, it smells flowery. Its nuts.Also, these guys remember my name. They even remember my car. No matter how infrequently I show up! True pros.Ill be using this Midas for years to come. Thanks, guys!

The gentleman at this store are amazing. We were on our way through Bangor after going to Acadia for the first time and the brakes on my van seized. I called 3 others shoppes and was told that they couldn’t help me. The person that answered the phone said come on in and they would do their best. The guys at midas are really an awesome bunch, Very professional and personable. Over the last few years they have been doing my regular maintenance among other things. I just brought it in like a week or so ago to have a bunch of things that I thought needed to be done, however after they looked at my car and looked up its records there was a lot that didnt need to be done and saved me a bunch of money. They could have done all I asked for and charged for it too, but these guys arent like the shady shops people talk about. They actually care and treat you like a person. TLDR: awesome shop 10/10 would totally reccomend.

Scheduled to have an oil change and to diagnose pulsation while braking. The gentlemen at the shop were very professional and even took the time to explain what was exactly wrong with my vehicle. They replaced the front rotors and did an oil change in a timely manner. I even received a text from Nate a couple days later, asking if my car was giving me anymore trouble. Very impressed by the work done and customer service.

We take our truck to the union street guys everytime (its a 30 mins drive now but we dont care lol) they are great with people and never rude, they get what needs to be done in a timely manner.

Nate, Eric and their crew have always been awesome to us. We never have trouble getting appointments, and they have always done solid work. I dont feel at all like they are charging us for stuff that doesnt need to be done (like some other garages do) and they remember us every time we come in. Ive had work done here for 20 years. For at least the past 10 Nate & Erik have always taken care of me. If somethings going wrong with my car they sometimes just have me drop by to check on it. if it needs more inspection or testing they get me in fairly quickly. They got to my car within 24 hours of dropping it off when needing work evaluated issue & cost & got right back to me. Always helpful accommodating. Give me my options & they help me get the most affordable solution & theyre dependable.

I went to Midas after a very high quote from a local garage. Because the work on my brakes was so much less expensive, I was able to address a valve problem. Now, my trusty Subaru stops on a dime and purrs like a kitten. Thanks to Nate and the crew👍

Fast friendly service. I brought my vehicle in for a couple issues. They were quickly diagnosed. One needed to be fixed immediately. The other was less urgent. I appreciated the honesty about the repairs and urgency. There was no pressure on their part to do the work.Two days later I received a text to follow up on their service. I will be bringing my vehicle to Midas from now on.

The staff was friendly and professional over the phone. They keep amazing documentation of all work conducted and previous quotes. They have great price transparency. From phone to door, even though they were busy, I was in the shop withing 30 minutes. They said my car would probably not be completed until morning, understandably, but in two hours I got the call that it was fixed and ready to go! The price matched the quote and they gave me advice on what would be due next, what time frame, and why it should be done. That was free. They didnt do anything without my knowledge. It was surprisingly affordable. The work was great. My car is smooth riding now, even though I wasnt very nice to it before. I am definitely going back for further work. I have never trusted a car repair shop, but this one is gold. Professional, timely, wise, caring, and committed to their practice and customers. This one is a GEM ladies and gentlemen. These guys are great. They always find out what is going wrong with your vehicle, explain to you (and often show) what is going wrong in terms you will understand (depending on you level of mechanical knowledge), and have you back on the road ASAP. They will always point out other things you might want done as well, but they have never been pushy. My go to shop for 10 years in the greater Bangor area. (Sadly I no longer live here, but I just got tires put on while I was in town over the holidays because they always find me a good price)

Always honest with me. I first went to them a few years ago to get a second opinion on a high quote from another garage and turns out I was being played by the other garage. They accommodate my schedule, tell me what needs to be fixed now/what can wait. The only place I will go now. They are a bit more expensive then other but the quality, and honesty are more important to me then a cheap bill from the sketchy guy who told you he could do it for less.

Always get me in quick and repaired fast and right. Some loaner vehicle availability, which is convenient.

Every time I get work done the bosses and mechanics are very professional. They explain what is going to be done what its going to cost. They ask if you have any questions and they tell you how long it will take. Everyone overall is very friendly.

They were pretty quick getting me in and out with my winter tire installation. I like that I can visually see what is going on and I have never felt that they didnt communicate with me prior to work being done, and when I have questions, they answer them or find someone who can.

We were from our-of-state on vacation and wanted our brakes checked before traveling on mountain roads. They took us in early on the same day we called and checked out our brakes free of charge. They didnt pressure us into getting service, and offered us a loaner car if we didnt want to wait. They explained the condition of our brakes with respect and no scare tactics. Integrity and respect were evident. Would recommend this place.

Took advantage of my younger cousin who does not know much about cars. Overcharged and did not fix the problem. Over 1k wasted on repairs for absolutely nothing to be done. I’m not sure if the good reviews are coming from people who’ve just got oil changes/inspections, but I will always warn people about this place. Very disappointed. Although my cousin was unfamiliar, I have multiple friends who work in auto repair (not in the area) and was told by all of them that my cousin was being scammed and it was all absolute BS. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The staff has always been very kind to me, and up front and honest about what needs to be taken care of. They have taken the time to explain what is wrong, and what they are expected to charge to fix it. The Midas Team saved the day for me and my daughter. We had a rather significant issue with my daughters Toyota SUV driveshaft and were visiting from out of state.On the way to Maine from Mass, we heard a significant noise from underneath the SUV. that could be heard when driving the car. We thought it could be noise from the snow tires that had just been installed but we were not certain. We took it in to Midas, in Bangor, at about noon for a planned oil change and while there we asked them to check out the possible issue based on the noise we heard. They took it for a short test drive and then showed me the issue --metal shavings that were from the drive shaft/axle -- not good! I was told it was a 2-hour job but that since it was 12:30 and they closed at 1 PM, they wouldnt be able to do it. Since this was a Saturday and they would be closed on Sunday, we didnt have many options. Midas called another service location in Bangor (Sullivans) and they could not help. My daughter and I were in Bangor for just the day and needed to return to Mass on Sunday.As my daughter and I were contemplating how we could return to Mass and whether there was a safety issue driving the SUV, the Midas manager said they would stay late to fix our SUV. We were extremely grateful! They fixed the SUV and it was completed at about 3 pm, two hours after the Saturday closing time of 1 pm.Thank you once again Midas!!
