Ive gone to this salon on and off for years! They are always wonder and pleasant! Today, I had a nail tech names Ty who was ABSOLUTELY wonderful to talk to and was very caring about how she did my nails. Im very simple with how my nails are but even still, she took her time and did not rush. I truly appreciate her for everything that she did and I will definitely be back to see her!!The staff is amazing and its a very clean salon.They also always have the most interesting international shows on. Ive had to jot down the name of two already 😁

Pedicure itself was fine, nice painting, etc. EDITED TO ADD: Ive lowered my rating from 3 to 2 since Ive been home I found that the tech cut the skin around one of my nails and half of my big toenail peeled off making it very short on one side.Im not pleased with paying $65 +tip for the top pedi for 35 minute experience. And 10 of that was spent wrapped in hot towels. There was hardly any massage with hot stones or lotion and then I was doused all up my legs with cold liquid to wipe it off. Id have thought that with business being slower during the pandemic theyd be more than happy to take care of the one customer they had. Definitely not. Would not recommend.

I was in town for a meeting and wanted a mani and pedi. After my pedi that was a little rough (The man who did my toes was not really gentle), I wanted a mani but then upgraded to a dip manicure. As I was sitting there, my toe got smudged and needed to be fixed. After my mani, Instead of removing the nail polish to fix my smudges toe, it was filed down and a little more nail polish was applied. I was then asked to sit by a fan while the all the employees sat and watched a show. No one checked on me so I checked my toes and left. I had been sitting for over 30 min after the fix. My toes look like poop and are all smudged. $35 wasted. Also, my dip isnt very good. There is not enough dip on a couple nails. I couldnt get back for a fix since I was there for work. Really frustrated and upset about the quality since I spent $90!!Moved my rating down....after 3 days in a conference and washing some dishes, 2 of my dip nails are already chipped because there was not enough dip put on them! I would love a refund since my nails look terrible and i had to repaint my toes!!

This salon has horrible service. I was rushed when getting my nails done and the shape was completely wrong and crooked. I complained to the man there and he shrugged his shoulders. The whole experience was roughly 15-20 mins. I will NEVER go there again and don’t recommend it. He told me last minute that the machines was down and he couldn’t accept cards so I had to go to the atm to withdraw cash. They really just need to close down shop...

It was the worst I have ever seen a nail salon. It doesn’t look like anyone has cleaned it since way before quarantine started. I should have followed my gut and left during the pedicure. a disinfectant hasn’t been used there in a very long time. You could tell that the place was not even swept. There was acrylic nail attachments everywhere, a lot of dust and dirt, and a lot of clutter everywhere. The people there were on their technology way too much. One person was watching their iPad and Picking their nose with the gloves on. I would never go there ever again.

Ive been going to nail Trix for years and there service is always Nice clean and Just a nice atmosphere they do a good job also on feet dont get mine done only my Man can touch my feet so yes I recommend this establishment for I might be back there Next week traveling and all.

The man was very rude He didn’t check my nails to see if it’s was dry. He was arguing with me when I told him to fix my nail instead of painting over the mess up part. I was the worst nail experience ever. They are charging high prices for a bad job. 50 dollars for short gel nails. 5 extra dollars to get your nails round. I felt very disrespected and I will never come back. You should not come here your hard earned money is better off anywhere else.

The guy was filthy he didn’t change this towel from someone else to do my feet. I should get a brand new one for my feet right not of someone else’s ? His odor smells really bad and unprofessional. Then he re-used the damm things that you put in between your toes. I wish i had the option to upload the video i have

Got the deluxe pedicure here on a quiet Monday afternoon- the nail technician was very attentive and sweet, took great care of my toes and removed calluses, applied moisturizer, wrapped my feet in hot towels and gave a little massage. Fantastic service! I’d gladly come again

Got a basic spa manicure/pedicure, and it was great. The massage chairs are lovely, everything is clean, great color selection. No complaints here. It seems like most negative reviews are for acrylic nails, but their non-artificial nail services seem great.

Took my daughter who is 8 for her first gel manicure and pedicure. I was charged 60 dollars and the fingernail polish has came off of 3 finger nails in 48 hours. I will not be visiting this establishment anymore.

It was my first time today at Nail Trix and Spa. I booked an appointment and when I walked in I signed in and was helped right away. The place is very spacious and friendly. I picked my color and they had a variety of OPI selections. My nail tech was amazing, she took her time perfecting my nails making sure they were quality. Good service highly recommend. We had a great conversation. Coming back again.

She has been doing my fingers and toes for over 20 years. She is hard working and honest. Her staff is exceptional. They have many colors to chose from. The massage is awesome. There is parking in front and on the side.

I went into the shop around 7:30 tonight, and the service was pretty great. The gentleman who did my nails was nice, asking about my day and such, but not too chatty. He even gave me a sample of cuticle oil after noticing my crappy cuticles. Overall, great experience. As good as any nail salon Ive been to.

They do nothing special from any other nail salon honestly for $45 for a basic full set! Customer service is very low and i told my nail tech that the automatic filer was hurting and yet he continued to file and ended up cutting my cuticle. It stings and could have been avoided

This salon is close to me so I use visit often, AWFUL do not waste your time or money. Depending on who you get your manicure is not what you asked for, polish is watered down and they are always trying to upsell your pedicure choice. It’s a newly remodeled shop inside the gallery but that’s the best part about this place. Go at your own risk!!

Loved, loved, loved these ladies - they did a truly fascinating job on my nails (both fingers and toes) and my husband says this was the best massage hes ever had in his life - which is high praise since he gets them a lot. Would highly recommend - appointments get preference when theyre busy, so call and make one!

I loved my experience here. very welcoming. was seen right away. they moved locations a few months ago and now have an amazing view from the third floor of the gallery mall. nail techs were nice, thorough and did a great job. a plus.

Worst service. I asked for a dip powder manicure. The color was nothing like sample I had chosen and they had a fit when I requested to change it. She also did not tend to my cuticles like a proper manicure includes. After back and forth over the poor job she did they allowed me to get the redone the next day. Somehow it was even worse than original dip powder. My nails are misshaped, the color was patchy after the gel topcoat, my cuticles are screaming and the owner was rude about my color choice. If you aren’t confident in your own products why are you offering it as an option????? Gave them a 2 star rating for allowing me to get my nails redone but definitely wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

Basic pedicure - Requested to abstain from using the callous scraper and pumice stone on certain areas of my feet three times and the tech acknowledged what I asked and still used both devices in those areas repeatedly. Dug WAY too deeply under my nail beds and she just laughed and said sorry each time I jerked away. Went over board trimming my cuticles and when I asked her not to use alcohol to remove the moisturizer because I knew it would sting, she did so anyways. And it stung. Facility was in less than prime condition and I wish I had just walked out after seeing what the equipment, furniture, and tools looked like. Never again.

Just moved to Baltimore last week and had a wonderful experience at Nail Trix and Spa. Everyone was very courteous and clean. Nails came out beautifully. Really loved Nail Trix and Spa!

They charge you whatever they feel like. Paid $30 for a full set, came back a week later and it was $45. There are no prices listed in the salon.

Despite the reviews, my husband and I decided to give this place a chance. He got his first pedicure and I got a pedi and gel full set. We couldnt have had a more enjoyable experience! The reason I did not give 5 stars is because the pricing is not very clear. Our pedis were 35 a piece and with my nails, our total came to 130 but we were happy with the service. Give them a chance just make sure the pricing is clear before you get serviced.

Nice, but poor service.My two sisters and I went and the woman I had up and left me before she was done to be on her phone and the ones my sisters had left all three of us just sitting to watch tv. We just got up to leave. Very unprofessional.

Paid $90 for a fill in and a gel pedicure. I was nickeled and dimed for everyone little thing they did. $35 for basic pedi, $15 for gel, $40 for fill in, $3 for cut down, $3 for nail fix. I have a huge scratch in the back of my heel where the foot scrubber slipped and scraped me. I have nail polish around the outside of my big toe that was not cleaned off. And on my nails I have nail polish on my cuticles and gel stuck from the outside of my nails to my skin in multiple fingers. My nails were also not filed evenly and there is bubbles on the nails. I have paid much less at other nail salons and gotten way better results.

The people there are beyond rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I went there against my better judgement after reading all the reviews. I guess I can’t blame anyone but myself. If you are reading this to decide if you wanna go there, please don’t. They are actually worse than the reviews, trust me.What a waste of time.

Highly dissatisfied with the quality of work. Got a pedicure and got my nails done, shabby work. I got so tired of correcting the tech and asking him to re-do stuff I just wore it for a couple of days and decided never to go back.

Had a very good experience while visiting Baltimore here. Maria was very nice and accommodating, and my friend and I both left with beautiful nails! Plus, she even recommended the Visual Arts Museum around the other side of the Inner Harbor and it was beautiful too!

The man who did my full set and pedicure was rough on my feet and cut two of my toes while trimming my feet. The 2nd time so badly he had a hard time stopping the bleeding with superglue. He did apologize and said he felt badly and besides that did a good job. Also the place is really pricey, Ive gotten better work a lot cheaper. Overall it was ok but I think Ill try somewhere else next time.

Horrible!!!!! Went in for a full set and the man doing it was so slow! Asked for coffin shaped, not what I left with. Had to call the manager over to finish them because they were so thick and shaped crooked. I work across the street and thought it would be convenient but they have too many new people there whenever I do go for a polish change or fill-in. I will NEVER go back.

Manicures poorly executed and dont last. Most polish selections are old and bubble once dry which requires getting nails redone. I was turned down for a chin wax told the hair was too short. The hair was clearly visible in varying lengths. Most knowledge folks in this profession know how to remove the hair with a combination of waxing and plucking with twitzers.

I came to Nail Trix and I received the worse service ever from a guy in there. First I walked into the Salon with a co worker and we both were getting pedicures. We were told to sit and wait for a few. A guy came in about 20 minutes after us. They sat him in a pedicure chair before us. Then tried to say that due to him being a man they were going to have a woman rather than a man do his feet. Like first come first serve. It should not be fair. I said something to the guy who was doing my feet. I said that was not professional to take someone ahead of people that were here. I did a basic pedicure which was not done properly at all. Then the guy that did my feet rushed and did the worse paint job ever. Then he hounded me like I was a criminal while I was drying my feet. To pay. I looked around and I videoed a guy who got serviced and was dried and before he walked out he paid for his services. So instead of drying my feet got messed up and he never fixed it properly. I asked again for my feet to get painted and the other guy said no. Then he tried to ask me where I work. Like after being so unprofessional I said none of your business. I work for the federal government. Why after all the unprofessional mess would I discuss anything with you?! Then he even talked about me with my co-worker and the girl who he was doing her nails. When I asked who the owner was they said that she lived in fort mchenry. It’s crazy because they are in a place where they get a lot of professionals. To be this unprofessional is very unbecoming. I will make sure that I tell all my federal co-workers about this place and not come here. This is my displeasure with this place. However, it’s not the place where blacks should come.

The men worker there are fast abrupt and isnt gentle at all. They dont take their time and one guy made me extremely uncomfortable. After I paid 65.00 dollars he had to nerve to ask if I wanted to tip. I said no. I am a big tipper btw. The nerve. I always get a Male worker and honestly I will not be going back there. They must not like serving black women properly and give special treatment to white women. I observed it and it is quite disturbing.

Terrible. Acted like he had an attitude because i walked in and requested a pedicure. Ran my water and took my feet out one minute later. Mind you, I look down and the water is dirty. This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to. They took others before me, didnt listen to what I wanted. Then the nail tech asked me to ask a customer to give back the samples of colors. I paid for my service but will never return... If I could give it negative 5 stars I will. A gentleman worker was arguing with a customer when they were in the wrong.... What else can I say 😵

Came in for an acrylic fill in and had one of the most rushed experiences of my life. Nail tech looked generally displeased to be there and put WAY to much polish on my nails. She rushed me out of my seat to take another customer when i tried to explain to her that my nails were still wet. It never dried and i ended up having to take it off and repaint it myself. Also there entire color selection is variations of red, pink and gold. Stay away!

The Nail Trix people in Baltimore & Canton are getting the Vietnamese a bad reputation. Not one person speaks a word of english, & still, the nice local customers are very understanding & work with them patiently. Instead of appreciating the kindness of the customers, the staff talk nonstop, dont make eye contact with the client & joke endlessly with one another in their language, pointing at customers whore overweight or anything out of the usual. Sometimes even about someones choice of nail color etc. Its unbelievable how rude & impatient they get. They have 1 or 2 on 5 ratings tops on the internet & still dont seem to care about reviews.

I looked at my gel acrylic nails today and the polish chipped. My gel polish never chip what’s the point of getting it if it’s gonna chip. I feel like I wasted my money.

I received a pedicure that was surgically delivered. I have no complaints other than the price. High compared to Michigan manipedis for the price of the pedicure alone. My tech was fast, personable, and effecient!

Horrible work from these Vietnamese nail salon workers. The worst salon I have ever been to. They didnt take all of the old polish off, the acrylic was bumpy and lumpy, the mixture was not right, they peeled off in a day. I was extremely upset so they never charged me. I went back the next day and talked with Angie, the manager, she redid my nails but still they werent done right. I would NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! They just opened a salon up in Canton Crossing. Warning - DONT GO!

I received the quickest pedicure of my life (10 min). I received a full nail set and pedicure in less than 30 minutes. I went back to the hotel and completed my pedicure.

When a customer isnt satisfied, as a business you do what you can to satisfy the customer. I went and got a pedicure...a basic pedicure, it took her 1 hour and 15 mins! When she painted my toes she gave me 3 coats and I could still see the polish from before on my big toenail!! So I tell her that she needs to go a shade darker and if its not completely off in shade she doesnt have to worry about the other eight toes. Well as soon as I stood up, I could tell right away that there was a big difference in color. SO when I went to pay I asked the Manager if I could come back after work (was on my lunch break) because I had two different shades on my toes because she only did the first two. Well he spoke to her in their language (no disrespect) and he tells me that she said she painted all 10 toes the same color and walked away from me! So I approach him and asked him to repeat himself and he did and I then turned to the lady and asked her...how many toes did you paint with the 2nd color and she said two toes...so I turn to him again and now he starts getting loud with me and tell me if I want a change I will have to pay $10. Needless to say, I was NOT about to spend another dime in this establishment nor was I about to be out of $35 for a horrible experience and job. So I politely called American Express and had them dispute the charge and I got my money back! For them to be in a mall in the heart of downtown...they arent that great...let alone good!

Were do I start. OK I been here several times. I like how they do my nails manicures..but my issue is everytime i go here there price change. They will charge you for every little thing. One minute its extra for coffin nails. Next time you go they dont charge you extra for that. Next minute nails too long price go up. Come again nails are longer but dont charger me. They will work you because theres no prices listed anywhere. Next issue is not listening aND dominating the nail process. If I ask for long ..they tell me its too long. If I ask for short they tell me too short. I find myself highly frustrated because I have to keep demanding what I want over and over againLastly my last nail experience that p*ss me off. I came to get eyebrow wax which she did great. She convince me to get pedicure. That pedicure was less then 10 mins. And the whole 10 mins shes trying to convince me to get gel nail. She dip my feet in the water slap some stuff on it. Scrub it for less then a min. Didnt cut toe nails..next I look she slapping Polish on them. 35 dollars gone. Then I get my nails done..she caught a attitude when I said no gel or dip nails. She had attitude when I told her I want a coffin but short..she complain that she cant do short coffin. Then get p*ss when I told her no gel polish...she also put a gel top coat and charge me after i told her no gel. And at the very end.. time to pay bill it was 85 bucks. When she broke it done for me I to just laugh..she said it was a xtra 5 because nails are long..this is after she complain about my nails being to short to work with. She also charged Me for a gel top coat which I didnt ask for.. just ridiculous

Nail Trix and Spa does very nice manicures, pedicures, gel nails, full sets, and even overlays! and brazilian waxes for me. When I ask them to file my nails to shape like a horshoe they say they cant so I have to do it is my only complaint. The set up is clean and pretty with a tv, magazines and enjoyable designer vibrating massage pedicure chairs. Its locate inside the gallery mall with security guards. I always go there when in bmore and will continue to go:)...

Have been to this salon before and it was reasonably OK however I have just had my nails done half an hour ago and the service was truely terrible . The man who did the mani pedi obviously being annoyed at missing the movie they were all watching. He could not have done the treatments any faster. It took 15 mins for pedi and the same for the mani. No relaxing and enjoying the treatment. He was very rough. Spent his time turning to look at the tv. Didnt take my old polish off properly and it was a quick as he could cut my cuticles and finish! !Will not be going back. So rude! !!

Nasty attitude. They do your nails wrong and when you go back for a filling they charge you for a replacement when it isn’t broke but because they did it wrong. And its $5 for a replacement. Save your money & time.

IF I COULD GIVE 0 stars trust me I would I work in the mall got my lashes done my eyes were itching and burning and watering i went back to ask the lady who did them what kind of glue did she use for my lashes she refused to show me and then she finally showed me and told me that the glue usually makes everybody’s eyes itch she never told me that it would do that, When u get your lashes done they should not be itching puffy burning and watering !!!!!! Also the lashes that she uses for my lashes was so hard and they weren’t even on correctly

Been coming here for about 2 years and the service keeps getting worse. Today 10/28/2014 put the nail in the coffin for horrible customer service. Walked in at 8 p.m (shop closes at 9) to get my nail repaired after getting my nails done literally a week ago. The nail literally popped off. I was turned away by the tech and told to come back tomorrow. As I walked out, 2 Caucasian women walk in to get their nails done and get welcomed with open arms. Im an African American woman and I felt completely disrespected and offended.

Im coming back. They do an amazing job. I had some nasty looking feet, and now my feet look like Beyoncé

Id like my $35 back. But I have no recourse as I was visiting from PA for the day. I showed them a photo and asked if they could do it. My tech showed another tech. He said yes. My guy fell off his chair at one point and obviously didnt know what he was doing. Ive been getting my nails done for over 15 yrs. Once he finished my fill, poorly, the other guy took over to paint them. It looked NOTHING like the photo. I didnt choose anything hard. They knew I was obviously upset, but asked me if i liked it anyways. I hate being mean but they were awful! Charged me regular price regardless. I walked around unhappy for about an hour and went back. I explained that I snt trying to be mean but these simply were not at all close to what I asked for. After waiting 45 min. he repainted them very plain as i was afraid to ask for anything else. If he couldnt do what I asked he just had to say so. On top of everything I paid extra for gel polish that began peeling off in large pieces in 2days. Then my tips started breaking/chipping. My cuticles are sore as the 1st tech filed my skin til I bled! I NEVER have these issues. So disappointed :( Now I have glue on nails on because I dont have the money to get them fixed again :( NAIL TRIX IF YOU SEE THIS REVIEW DO THE RIGHT THING AND ASK ME FOR MY ADDRESS TO SEND MY MONEY BACK!

Worst nail salon Ive ever been to. They were rude and unwelcoming. I got a pedicure and gel manicure there. The pedicure was decent but it was the gel manicure that really made me write this review. I picked out my color for it but the bottle was messed up so she goes and picks out another color and starts painting it on. She didnt even ask me if I was okay with it. i stopped her and told her Id like to pick out a different color and she sighed like I was wasting her time. I finally picked out a new color but messed up one nail in the process. I told her sorry and she tells me if you didnt need to pick out another color, this wouldnt have happened. While this is true, this kind of attitude is just unacceptable for a service that Im paying for. I would not recommend this nail salon.This is unrelated to there service but thought I should mention it. I asked for a cup of water. She comes back with a dirty cup that has coffee stains around the rim and at the bottom.

DO NOT GO THERE. I spend over $30 to get a spa pedicure. The woman splashed water on me, kept throwing my feet down, and walked away for 15 minutes without saying anything (while in the middle of the pedicure). My toe nails are lopsided and the paint was all over my feet. NEVER AGAIN.

The nail tech was very rough. He cut my finger. I really cant believe I paid 70 for a fill in and pedi. the paint from my pedi was uneven and messy so was my fill in was VERY messy

Terrible service. I asked for short nails and my nails were about the same length as my real nails because he kept filing my nails down and when I asked the guy could he extend them he said no. My nails look trashy and now I have to go somewhere else to get them soaked off and redone. For all of that I should’ve gotten an overlay.
