They do a very poor job. The pictures that I have included are after the redo request. My actual toe nail started to flake off, as well as my finger nail cracking in the nail bed.They would not refund me after many attempts of contacting them.Due to their sanitizing standards being so low, I developed an infection in one of my fingers, causing bleeding.Please do not use these people.

Worst nail salon experience I have ever had. I specifically asked my nail lady for fake nails and she said ok. She then proceeded to do a gel manicure after she claimed 4 times she understood. My friend was also with me and her say When you get nails make sure you come back so I can take them off. When I bought the issue to her attention she said she never said that and got one of her coworkers to tell me I was lying. My friend and I will NEVER go back there again. Wouldnt recommend to anyone. Customer service was terrible also.

I had a 12 Oclock appointment, I waited 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. Two woman came in & they immediately acknowledged her. They took a walk in ahead of me. Im a regular there, I always tip at least 20%. I didnt say a word, I got up & started out the door, then a man (I assume he was the owner) came running after me & said, come back, youre next. I will never go back there again. I really dont think that theyre gonna be in business very long.

The nail tech owner was not very friendly. I only went to this place because it was last minute and I had an event in DC to attend. I did get compliments on my nails. Also, the lady who did my pedicure was awesome. I cant remember her name, but shes from Nepal or Myanmar (Burma).

I have been going here on and off for about two years and they always do a beautiful job on my nails. They are very quick but not at all rushed and the prices are fair. I go here when I can afford to treat myself.

My first experience with Allure was on 7/14/19 and I will not be going back.Pros: 1. The classic pedicure was an enjoyable experience.2. The decor and ambiance in the location was great.3. Multiple Technicians were available and I was seen almost immediately.MAJOR Con: 1. The manager and nail technician that serviced me refused to acknowledge my wishes that I did not want a drill to be used on my nails for purposes of an acrylic nail set because the drill is harsh and my nails hurt after. I was spoken to rudely and the technicians refused to consider using a buffer on my nails as opposed to the drill - claiming that it was not possible to do acrylics any other way; which, is an indication of their incompetence and unwillingness to meet to needs of the customer. Apparently, my discomfort and wishes were an inconvenience to their workflow and habits.

Ive been coming here for a while but this is probably my last visit. Each time I get a pedicure its inconsistent. They often rush through it. This time the tech did a super sheer paint job, and when I asked him to paint another coat he did it super fast and didnt bother to topcoat it after he saw I was tipping on card instead of cash. They just dont treat you that well. I will say all my bad experiences have been with the male techs, all the girls are really good.

A friend recommended this place! Glad I found this place. They made me feel very welcome! They took their time but it was well worth it. They have wonderful service. I am too happy with my nails! This is where Ill come every time now!

Came all the way here states they are open and the are NOONE can do nails until 11 am... Change the opening time then.. So disappointed.. So hard to find a good shop oh well the search continues.

The worst experience ever! My pedicure was a rush job. My nail tech was a guy (can’t remember his name) my full set was uneven and the acrylic was too thick on my nails, when I asked him to fix it he had a attitude and said I was picky! Of course I’m going to be if my paying you MY MONEY! Showed no concern when I left the Salon upset. I highly recommend that no one goes to this Salon! Very poor customer service! I would give it less than one star if possible!

If I could give this nail salon a negative I would! I’ve been coming to this nail salon for over 3 years even with the new management. Today I went to get a gel manicure and I left with two bloody fingers. My usual nail tech was unavailable so I decided to try the guy who was available which was big mistake! So he started to clean my cuticles with the tools and was being so rough. While cutting my cuticles he started to cut my actual skin on my hands not where my nails were. I told him that it hurt and he told me that it was gonna be okay 😒 so he proceeded to cut into my skin and my fingers started bleeding! I admittedly removed my hands from his and told him I didn’t want them done! I spoke with the manager who was sitting right beside him and she didn’t acknowledge the issue at all! The manager and employee who did my nails were rude and uncaring of my situation! I WILL NEVER BE RETURNING TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT & I wouldn’t advise or recommend anyone to go to ALLURE NAIL BAR ON W. 41st street if they expect a great nail experience!

The manager was rude. He asked this customer if they wanted gel and when they said no he proceeded to say that gel is best and that people get the regular 15.00 manicure and mess it up and expect them to fix it. If you are going to talk about your customers, then wait until they leave.

RACIST ESTABLISHMENT??????? full disclosure: I am a black woman.---Wish i could give them 0 stars--Here is what happened:I go in to get a pedicure, all went well & the nail artist did an amazing job. After my nails were complete I am sent to a UV lamp for my nails to dry. While my nails are drying the nail artist came up to me demanding payment. I comply and give her my credit card. (*** Note this is my first time at this salon and there is no explicitly listed tipping procedure. I never carry cash, and writing in my tip on the receipt has never been a problem at other nail salons that I have been to. ****) so I get my receipt back and go to write in my tip amount, and the woman tells me that I need to pay the tip in cash. My toes are still wet, and I am still under the UV lamp drying, but the nail artist stands in front of me telling me to go next door to get cash. (bullying me! ) ---- Now I have no problem going to get cash, but id like to wait until my toes are at least dry before I put my shoes back on and leave.... So this woman is still standing over my shoulder and is pretty much implying that she wants me to get up NOW and get her a tip. I felt cornered and bullied, so i get up and leave to go to the rite aid next door and get cash back for a purchase. -- I LOOK OUT THE WINDOW OF THE RITE AID ADN NOTICE THAT THE NAIL ARTIST HAS FOLLOWED ME OUT OF THE SALON AND IS WAITING FOR ME OUT SIDE OF RITE AID. I get my cash from the cashier and leave to head back to the nail salon. THE NAIL ARTIST IS OUTSIDE WAITING FOR ME WITH HER HAND OUT!!!.. I cant even describe the feeling that I had. I will never enter that salon again. Ive never been treated that way in my life. Everyone needs to be treated fairly. This was the worst customer service experience that I have ever had. I cant justify her behavior in any way. I hope that they dont treat their other customers like that.

Closing hour posted is 8 p.m. I arrived at 7:25 and was turned away. Gentleman stated they were closed. So, I asked; then you really close at 7:30 p.m.? He said. Yes we have to clean up. My thought is change your hours on the sign and the internet.

Went there today (morning) mya did my mani,pedi and brows and she did a very good job. after I left I had to come back because I messed up my nail by accident she redid it free of charge..shes very nice..the others not so much..I highly recommend MYA!!!

I actually have been going here, back & forth since the previous owners. I have been in the spa when customers have left complaining and figured,yes I see their concerns, but I kept going back because of the convenience. I live not too far. We have to realize that a convenience can be your BIGGEST DOWNFALL. Ive done a complaint or two, but keep going back. THIS IS IT!!!!!!! I LITERALLY JUST GOT A PEDICURE not even 24 hours. this nail tech I declined him before, because I didnt like his skills, but in a rush, allowed him to do my padi.....LESS THAN 24 HOURS AGO. Great service and amazing gel nails. Pedicures as well. Everytime i come its a great experience. They close at 8pm on saturday, i came in at 815 and they stayed behind to do my feet. I was very pleased!

New management. Paid $41 for gel nail polish on hands and feet. Normally I get a pedicure which is pretty good here.

I used to get my nails done here every 3 weeks. Today I had an awful experince and I wont be going back. 3 weeks ago, I got a dip powder manicure. Today I came in to have it removed and to have a new manicure done. When the polish came off my nails were RUINED underneath. It was obvious the technician had missed a step and the dip powder was not done properly. That had been my first dip powder manicure so I didnt know any better. When I politely showed the manager my damaged nails and asked for a refund for my dip powder manicure she said no because I didnt tell her my nails were damaged on the day I got the manicure. How would I have known that under the polish my nails were being damaged????? Then she offered 5$ off. I said I disagreed with that offer and that I should get a full refund. She then said she would see what she could do and walked away. I stopped the technician from going any further with my nails until she gave me an answer about a full refund. A few minutes later I walked up to the desk to ask what she had decided and she said she wouldnt charge me at all and told me to go back to my technician to have my gel manicure finished, so I did. A few minutes later she comes over and tells my technician to charge me 20$ for the gel polish but to take off 15$ for the manicure. I said but you just told me you would not charge me. And she said I wont charge for the manicure but you have to pay for polish. When she walked away my technician even shook her head in disagreement. I told my technician that I would still tip her but I was going to have the manicure finished somewhere else. The technician apologized for the manager and she and multiple technicians around her insisted on finishing my nails for free. It made me wonder what kind of treatment these technicians really experience from this manager. I wont be going back and its a shame theyre losing a loyal customer over a few dollars.

My mother, my neice my mother and I walked in there and felt unwanted like they did not want our business. They just had us standing there looking crazy!! I wouldnt go ever again! My mother was disappointed cause she was really looking forward to a girls day.
