I train with Sherman. Hes awesome. Knowledge and receptive to my needs. Good customer service. Not overcrowded. Lots of food options in the area to make sure I dont lose too much weight from all the calories Im burning.

I work for Federal Hill Fitness about 14 yearsAndrea and Justin Shelby were two of the best people Ive ever met.I didnt really get a chance to experience the gym or the workout until after I stopped working there which they were nice enough to give me a lifetime membership now I start started working out and the place is really good and I feel like family and I will never forget them

I only came for a few months before moving out of the area but I loved coming here. The gym and changing rooms were always clean and tidy and the atmosphere was great for working out. The mornings were never overly crowed and there are great flex spaces to do your own workouts apart from the equipment and weights if desired. When there was an issue with my billing the management was super quick to resolve it. All around a great gym.

I have been a member of Federal Hill Fitness for the past four years and only my move out of the area caused me to end my membership. Andrea and her staff were friendly, helpful and dedicated. For me, as an older adult - staring down the barrel of 70 in July - the gym quickly became an integral part of my self-care discipline. The atmosphere was great, I was made to feel comfortable and encouraged as I progressed in my own regimen. (Great mix of music, too, I might add) In my thities and early forties I ran marathons. Federal HIll Fitness helped my get back into the best shape I have known since that time. The impact on my health was measureable, especially with my family histories of diabetes, which regular exercise helped to keep in check. Bottom line: I am not saying that you could not get results in another gym, but the intangibles - the atmosphere, the staff, the comfort level, made the pain and sweat that much more bearable. I miss my gym.

Ive been a member here for over 5 years and absolutely love it! I love the family like atmosphere and most of the staff knows the members by name. The owner is very hands on and is always willing to help and work with you on an individual level for whatever you may need. I would highly suggest giving them a try!

I would give it 0 stars if that were an option. Extremely disappointed with the price vs. what you get. There are simply not enough machines for what they have or simply missing machines all together. The communication with the staff when trying to cancel membership is extremely horrible. I would recommend throwing $69 in the fire every month before giving this place a single penny.I will never, ever be recommending this place to anyone unless I want to see this person lose $69/month on the worst investment of a lifetime

Racists and elitists place. Im on vacation in Baltimore, Im renting a flat for a month and I booked a one free trial class in mind&body app, they asked for a proof of citizenship or residency (they dont specific ask for that in the app) . Then they give the option to pay $50dls only one class, because usually the user book the class in the website, not directly in the app -_-

Great little boutique gym that is very clean and inviting. Staff is friendly and equipment is top notch. My only complaint is that the bench press equipment doesnt allow for someone to spot you and this can be a major issue for some. Other than that go see for yourself and you wont be dissapointed!

I used to work-out here when I lived in Baltimore for two years. FedHill Fitness is a lovely little gym, also offering group training sessions like yoga. The equipment is well-maintained, and the staff are fantastic. Membership fees are a little on the higher end, but well worth it.

Solid gym. Bit pricey. Make sure to cancel you membership OVER a month before you want to leave. I have been charged multiple payments after cancellation. Terrible policy.

Great little gym. Situated near a bunch of housing and stores/restaurants, so I can stop in, do a workout, then ruin it by picking up something from the Local Fry on the way home! Plenty of equipment that is kept clean and working.

Really fantastic gym. Clean, has all the equipment you would need and has a good kickboxing/cardio room. They offer a 7 day free trial so you can get a good feel for the gym. Really good place to get in shape in terms of both cardio and resistance training

Fed Hill Fitness has a pretty good selection of equipment, and unlike some of the other gyms in the area, there usually arent a ton of people in there.
