We have been living in Park Charles for almost 3 months now. From the beginning it was a great experience. John and Gerard were really helpful when we were looking to move in. Common areas are maintained clean and all the staff is very friendly. Four stars because we would love to have a fitness center in the same building instead of having to go to 39 W Lexington.

I lived here for 2 years in 2 different apartments in this building, and I moved out almost a year ago. I lived in 2 apartments because I lived out of town for a couple of months and wanted to save money on rent.I had problems with bed bugs in both apartments which definitely were not caused by my roommates or me. In my first apartment, the pest control inspector who came clearly said that the bugs were in the walls and didnt see any living in my bed. Additionally, the bites started over 1 month after we had already moved in. I commend the management then for how they handled the situation. They were courteous, had clear communication about when treatments would be, and didnt charge us because the bed bugs werent our fault.The way the situation was handled the first time around left a good impression on me, so I decided to return during my 2nd year. My new apartment was on a completely different floor than my 1st apartment (7th floor vs 18th floor), but we got bed bugs again! And this time, my roommate and I were careful not to buy any used furniture. What my 2 star rating is for how the new manager handled the situation. The building manager had unfortunately changed between the 2 incidents, and the new manager (Tiffin) was not kind to us about this. She actually suggested that the bed bug situation was our fault (without evidence) when she learned that I had previously lived in another unit which also had bed bugs (even though it had been determined that we werent the source). They were going to charge us hundreds for the treatment, but luckily they didnt end up doing so. The new manager also had terrible communication about when the treatment dates would be. Regardless, the managers accusation on top of the stress of actually having bed bugs was a lot to handle at the time.I give Park Charles 1 star back because I love the apartment otherwise. Apartments and the building are nice. They have an underground parking garage. Picking up packages was easy. Most of the front desk staff are super nice and understanding, and some of the management is helpful. However, Im now traumatized by the mention of bed bugs, and I suspect they have an ongoing problem with bed bugs. From what I observed from each of my bed bug treatments, we werent the only apartment being treated each time, and we definitely werent the source. I never had bed bugs problem before living here, and I havent had problems since.

The Park Charles is a wonderful luxury apartment high rise that is located only 10 minutes away from the Inner Harbor & the Charmtastic Mile. The building has great views and is situated close to all the main attractions.

I will be moving out of Park Charles next month, but I had an extremely positive experience here. The staff were always friendly and so helpful. My move-out process is seamless so far because of the attentiveness of the staff. Sydney has gone above and beyond to help me work out the kinks for my move and I am so appreciative of her professionalism and genuine care. I would recommend this apartment without reservation. I want to genuinely thank all of the Park Charles staff for making it a wonderful stay!

I have waited a long to write this review. We moved out of this apartment within 30 days as the location did not suite our family(we realized we are not urban birds) and moved out to suburban area. Staff and management were very friendly and accommodative. They sincerely stuck to their policy of 30 days no satisfaction. We moved out of property with out any hassle. They did not even charge for minor paint issues. The best experience with the management of all the apartments we lived in.

My oldest daughter recently leased a unit at the Park Charles. Dad (me) went down to help her move in and get settled while she worked her new job. My experience was all of 4 days at the Park Charles but if my brief experience is a typical day in the life type scenario, then I would wholeheartedly have to recommend the Park Charles to prospective tenants. Nothing short of exceptional were the entire staff at all hours - especially the 7am-3pm guy at the front desk - Daniel. He made my life so much easier and was helpful way beyond expectations. Excellent job people!!!

I have lived here for the past 2 1/2 years. It’s been an awesome experience. The staff is extremely friendly and prompt. The location is ideal for me because I like being a few blocks from the inner Harbor for running. And it’s on the edge of Mount Vernon and allows me to go to the coffee shops and the Hopkins shuttle if needed. There’s an also an attached parking garage that’s very convenient. If there are ever any issues, such as a loose nail or plumbing issue, they address it very quickly! Also, after I had lived there for two years, I inquired about replacing the carpet since I had been stalled the year prior to me moving in. They inspected the carpet and agreed it could be replaced and did this very quickly! Be time I also left my phone charger at work, and they let me borrow theirs. Everyone is so kind in this building and I highly recommend this building!

I have been in this apartment for two years now and I love everything about it - the staff, the location, the amenities. Front desk staff are very friendly and greet you with warm smiles. Daniel, Mira, Sydney, Darrell, Jasmine, John, Jamall... just to name a few of these amazing people who always make your day better. The maintenance staff are very prompt in responding to your concerns. They recently granted access to the gym at 39 W Lexington and the pool at Charles Tower next door. They often host events with free food and activities allowing you to get to know your neighbors!

This is a fantastic place to live for multiple reasons. First is how convenient the location is in the downtown area - banks are close by, there is a dry cleaners and food court at the base of the building along with a grocery store and liquor store a few steps away. At times when work has been busy, this location has been great since errands are so easy to run. Second and a big reason is how friendly the staff is here with any interaction you have with them. They accept packages at the front desk and have a very organized system for logging and tracking them. If you have any maintenance issues in the apartment, there is an online system to submit a work order and it gets done the following day or sooner even if its non-urgent. Overall an amazing place to live.

Moving to Park Charles Apartments has been one of my BEST experiences ever! As a college graduate from California, Ive mainly off-campus at numerous apartments and even at the most expensive ones, they were not even half as great as Park Charles! I especially appreciate Daniel who ALWAYS goes ABOVE AND BEYOND! Ive witnessed him consistently treat other tenants with respect and enthusiasm regardless of the time of day or circumstance. Given my exceptional experience here, I will unquestionably renew my lease for however long! I HIGHLY encourage others to consider signing a lease here too! :))

Park Charles is clearly deleting bad reviews! WORST place I have ever lived. Infested with mice and broken elevators almost every day! Was stuck on a cramped elevator for over an hour with my puppy. No one apologized or even cared. We had to call the fire department ourselves. This is my 2nd time posting a review because it keeps being deleted! Oh yeah my furniture was stolen by an employee when I moved out. All staff members are completely rude and unprofessional especially the former property managers Tiffon Blackmon and Caj.

Great location, nice sized apartments, reasonably priced, friendly maintenance and front desk personnel and good management. Convient to Harbor, Arena, Ravens Stadium and Orioles Ball Park. Only issue is the lack of installation for the windows. Major drafts come through the windows.

These apartments are owned and operated by Southern Management. Ive had little-to-no issues since moving in earlier this year. There are several amenities in the building including pet feeding/plant watering (comes with rent) and a front desk that is attended 24/7. I receive an e-mail from the front desk when a package has been delivered to me! Staff are very friendly, and maintenance workers are prompt and professional.The apartments are relatively spacious for a downtown apartment building. The lobby decor is sharp; however, other areas of the apartment appear slightly outdated with cleanliness an issue at times. I hear that management is considering an update soon though not yet confirmed. Each apartment features a washer/dryer which is nice though these are small appliances. Microwaves are not included. Recycle bins are made available on each floor during select days of the week. There have been issues with residents leaving recycled items out on the wrong days, and this has been tough for staff to address.One of the best things about this apartment building is its convenience. Its within a block of a full-service grocery store (Streets Market & Cafe); within 1-2 blocks of two Metro Subway stops, a light rail stop, and several bus routes including the free Charm City Circulator Purple Line route; a 10-minute walk from the Inner Harbor; and very accessible to many other downtown attractions. Lots of free, family-friendly activities occur next to the building in Center Plaza. There are dry cleaners on the first floor (reasonable costs), and they will even deliver your laundry to be picked up from the lobby by request.The area around the building is relatively safe with security personnel and police that canvass the block throughout the day and night. Underground parking is expensive but allows direct access to the interior of the building with secure entry. Noise from street level can be elevated at times but not more than what can be expected living in the city.Im very pleased with my experience here thus far and would highly recommend to anyone interested in downtown Baltimore living.

Park Charles has EXCEEDED our expectations for an apartment community. CAJ & HASSAN along with the entire Park Charles staff have gone above and beyond. We work with so many apartment communities and have NEVER received such willingness to assist us in our move and stay. Most communities assistance cease once the lease is signed. NOT the issue with Park Charles. Professional, understanding and extremely helpful. I can NOT say enough of this community and Caj.If you are looking for a great place to stay Park Charles is it.Dina

The best accommodation in Baltimore is the third year I live in it. The staff and management are very cooperative and the area has all the necessities of life.
