I just received a noise complaint for a 3year old. These walls are like paper I can hear my neighbor move around in his bed and sneeze. They are not worth the money at all. They have a bad mice problem. Lets not get into how unprofessional some of the staff is. Im disappointed I moved back here. Nothing like it was when I lived here as a kid.

Biggest mistake was not listening to the reviews. Lived here for almost 3 years, and it was multiple problems after the next. Constant mouse and bug problem. Exterminators would come w/ a flash light and just sit traps down anywhere instead preforming a legit extermination. The walls are paper thin, you will hear your neighbor sneezing. Maintenance is done whenever, and when you call up about it, you’re told it was never a ticket put in, or they’ll let you know. Constant drug use in the halls and men standing around outside and inside the apartment hallway smoking weed. Mold constantly developed on the vents, windows, and ceilings. Not to mention other issues. Would not recommend.

Do not rent this place.Youll literally be putting yourself in jeopardy.They have no concern for the people living in these apartments.They make up random fees to make you pay extra.Then EVICT YOU when they find someone willing to pay more for the space.Not only that,they hire 3rd party movers to come and move your stuff but they actually end up stealing your things with absolutely no consequences.Do your self a favor and avoid living here.

The office staff are friendly and professional however the constant increase of rent is unbelievable. How can you charge more money for the same amount of space not to mention there is a serious mouse problem. You cant charge people more money for mice. Its almost as if they are trying to blame the tenants when they know that was as existing problem. You have go move after living there a few years because the rent goes up but your salary doesnt.

Mice Mice Mice!!!!!!They don’t care about you and the walls are very thin! It’s mice... it’s very small.. and the walls are very small so it’s easy to get noise complaints.... the way you have to pay your rent is ridiculous . Bad management and maintenance . Very unprofessional . Bad parking. You can get evicted from getting 3 noise complaints . That might not even be you because the walls are so thin..... don’t move here I’m telling you !

They upped the rent & the late charges with very little notification, then overcharged for eviction balance because nobody in that office knows what the other is doing or what they are even doing themselves. They WILL put your rent money on another persons account if you dont do a triple check with the office manager!Worst property Ive ever had the displeasure of living in, more so for my wife & children.P.sMaintenance team is horrible, bugs & critters run rampant but they pretend not to notice, property management is sorry at best.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would!!!! I am locked outside my apartment and the maintenance guy said they dont do lock outs you have to call a locksmith!!! This place is pathetic!!! All they care about is MONEY!!!! I moved in at the end of March 2016.... At first I had no problems, I seen a roach one day, killed it never seen anymore!!! Maybe 2 to 3 months later I seen another one, I keep my apartment CLEAN!!!! I pretty much had to buy all new everything!!!! I dont have living room furniture yet so its just my son and I bedroom sets, so as you can imagine its not much to keep space cleaned!!!! About 2 months ago I started seeing roaches more and more frequently!!!!!! I came home from work one evening, saw a roach crawling on stove, I treated around it with spray. No lie maybe a hour later I went into the kitchen to get a glass of water I turned on the light and liked to jump out of my skin!!!!!! It was sooooooo many roaches and different ones I immediately called my landlord to put in a complaint!!!! These last 2 1/2 months have been so stressful and I know some people dont have a place to stay or live so I dont mean to be ungrateful. But to constantly see roaches all day, all sizes big ones medium ones baby ones and different types is disgusting!! Crawling on your clean dishes, utensils, in the cabinets, Ive seen them in my bathroom as well. Like I said I clean and bleach everything it doesnt matter how clean you are or how much you spray they are running.. I have not cooked in my kitchen in the last 2 months because of it!!! I hate this place and I live in the apartments!! Do NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!! If you care about you your children and well being!!!! If you have to, get a company to come in and treat your apartment before moving your things in and I recommend having them come out every week or two because the ROACHES are that bad!!!! Luckily I have not seen any MICE!!!!!!!!! No droppings nothing of a sign of a MICE!!!!!

Will tow your car even if you live there. They dive around looking for problems with your car weekly . Then they tow it only providing 24 hour notice if that . Moved out apartment and left the apartment in great condition. Charge me for Capet cleaning which was overcharged .Then repaired the same carpet which was over charged . Wouldn’t move here again if they paid me to live here. Also overcharged me for a water bill . Walls are so thin you can hear everyone in the building. It’s worth it to search a lil harder . Maybe Lockwood apartments or tall oaks . I rented for years and this was by far the worse experience I’ve ever had.

My experience here has definitely improved. The leasing staff is very professional and respectful. They have seriously done the best they can to upgrade this community, it looks beautiful at night and at day. Larry is my favourite mentenance guy, he does really good work, always keeps his work area clean and very gentle and professional man. Carmen is a good woman, she honestly does care and does the best she can to look after the community. Dominic, hope i spelt her name right. Man this girl didnt change from day one but definitely in a good way. Shes been promoted and always always professional.Carmen and the staff here has taken good care of my home when i report my issues and i am very pleased.

I am absolutely enthralled with disappointment from this place. There is trash everywhere. Sometimes we see cars that are vandalized, but the leasing office will do nothing about them. There was a car parked right next to mine that had been in a hit and run, but no one did anything about it until the entire parking lot was paved. Thats right, I had to walk outside of my house for over a month next to an abandoned and criminalized vehicle. We see vandalized cars all the time! Police vehicles drive by these cars as well since we are next to a school. But they do nothing about it. I understand that this is usually not Northbrookes fault, but nonetheless this is a very unsafe place to live.Our stove is small, which was fine at first until we realized that the top of the stove is always hot. This was normal, so we could do nothing about it. The pilot light always had to stay on. We couldnt even clean the top of the stove without letting off steam or burning our fingers. But when questioned, we only got the answer of oh, thats normal. Just leave it.Though most of the neighborhood is really bad, our neighbors are very kind and theyve helped us to get through this long year. I do not feel safe walking out my own door otherwise. I cannot walk through the neighborhood at all. The leasing office does nothing about their rules of no loitering, no standing, no bicycling, but WE still got a WARNING about loitering and letting our children sit on the A/C units.... WE DONT HAVE KIDS. I wouldnt be surprised if I got a notice to leave just for writing this review. The last time I gave them a private complaint (when they asked for a review) I received a warning about a week or two later for having a dirty stove top (they have random home inspections for lease renewals even though we werent renewing) when I had already complained that I COULDNT PROPERLY CLEAN IT. We were threatened with eviction for a dirty stove top.... eventually a very nice maintenance worker showed us how to take apart the stove so we could clean it without getting burned.Dont move here, unless you really cannot afford to live anywhere else. This place will live on in my nightmares. Thanks, Northbrooke.Edit: Even if you are coming here for the cheap price, they will probably charge you enough fees when you leave to make you pay the same amount you would for a 1000sqft apartment. And you cant argue any of the odd fees. Dont live here.

These apartments have an excessive amount of mice and roaches. Moreover, the methods they use to exterminate the rodents and insects are very ineffective. In addition, when I first moved in the leasing agent completely denied any sorts of rodent and roach problem. I have been living here for 4 months and I am leaving immediately. It is completely disgusting at these apartments with roaches and mice. DO NOT MOVE HERE !

Very close to shopping areas. Townhomes are spacious and has wall to wall carpeting, great location if you’re looking to live off campus, 5mins away from Morgan State and other universities in Baltimore.CONS:- My apartment was burglarized in broad daylight. I left for work 8am and returned 5:30pm. Mind you, outside is still sunny, but they managed to break into my apartment through the front window (I’m still confused as to how neighbors didn’t see) and took a lot of valuables.- You could have the cleanest apartment, that doesn’t stop mice and cockroaches from running around, how they get inside, I have no idea.- One day I flushed my toilet and the water started running continuously into both bedrooms upstairs, soaking the carpets. Long story short the water escalated downstairs into the kitchen and living room ceiling, my living room ceiling fell down and all of that filth fell on my couch. I went to the office the next day, the Propety Manager was not willing to change my carpet, she thought my apartment was “livable”. After my ceiling fell down, I started seeing countless bats and cockroaches in my apartment. If you have an outstanding issue like this, please do not even bother to go to the leasing office! CALL CORPORATE OFFICE and if corporate don’t do anything about it, FILE ESCROW!- They ended up changing my carpet, however, the leasing office staff in really spiteful when it comes to work orders and stuff like that, especially the fact that I put them through hell threatening to file escrow.

I lived here for a year the first week I moved in my boyfriends car was stolen. At first glimpse when they showed me the house everything looked ok, but I never thought to check behind the stove and refrigerator until my initial cleaning after I moved in. When I pulled the stove and refrigerator out not only was it disgustingly filthy, but there were holes in the wall and hundreds of mouse dropping on the back stove and floor. This is disturbing especially for it to be a newly rented property. I called the rental office and had someone come out and fix the issue. Next problem my oven was leaking carbon monoxide for over 3 months the fire department had to come out twice I literally had to threaten the rental office to come out and fix the oven which was very dangerous my daughter and I couldve died. My house was broken into in broad daylight and most of my daughter and my things were stolen. I immediately suspected it was maintenance because for someone to break in your home in broad daylight through a kitchen window not trash the place and walk out the door with 55 flatscreens seems real odd to me.They offered to change my locks which didnt make any sense because the person broke in through the window. Then when I asked to have the screen to the window fixed they sent a guy out and he didnt even knock or speak or announce himself nor did he fix the screen to the window. When I reported it the rental office solution was to have me write a letter to have my screen fixed something that shouldve been done the same day I provided the police report number and reported the break in. I asked the rental office that had a real nonchalant attitude about the breakin were there ever any complaints of maintenance being in the homes unannounced and was told no. Little to find out my next door neighbor told me she came home and they were in her home without notice or a work order so she put a deadbolt on her door. They will also try to keep your security deposit. I had to write a letter to take legal action in order to get my deposit. Not worth the price and not worth the headache.

I have been living here for almost a year and have yet to see a mouse. as far as the leasing staff i have never had any bad run ins with anyone they have always been nice to me and very accommodating. i love it here actually it is very quiet (to me ) and its a nice community. since ive been here i havent had any problems with people breaking into my car or bothering me . the only thing i wish would improve is relationships with neighbors. everyone goes about their bust lives walking past each other and not speaking thats the only thing i would suggest to improve. it is now time to renew my lease and the rent increase wasnt bad still affordable . all of these reveiws are shocking to me as i have never seen or heard of any of these things happening . hope i was a help

Some of the people in the rental office is rude. the roaches are bad. i had them spray my apartment and i still seen them i even got other company to come in an spray it an do what they do an unfortunately i still see them (house is clean) there are guys whom hang out in the hallway and smoke weed and leave the inside of the blunt and weed bags an other trash in they hallways an they dont live there i made a complaint to the rental office an they told me i would have to call the police

I was evicted wrongly for one month elapses which was going on for month to month aproximately for 2yrs. When l pay for current month this fools will tell me was month b4 when provide month b4 they come up with another suddenly, one day state sheriff officer called me from my job stated am being EVICTED from my apt without no court notices may be one was placed on my door but removed or wind must to blew away but anyway these apartment complex are bunch of lunatics if rent from them YOU PUTING YOUR FAMILY IN JEOPARDY.

Moderately priced townhomes is what you make it. We deal with Mice and ant issues, however, my experience with the pest control people have been positive. They patch up the hole and I try to stay on top of it until I need them again. As far as ants, I found that ant motels and keeping places clean where youve seen them seems to keep them away for the most part. The neighbors get loud sometimes but they mostly keep to themselves and their guests, I almost wish there was more interaction to have a sense of community. I have not experienced much bad customer service. When I call the office Dominique usually answers and she is pleasant. I have had an issue once with getting a copy of my lease, I just had to be persistent and keep reminding them that I needed it until I received it. I have not experienced roaches though, there are small spiders and an occasional odd looking bug, but thats usually when my kids leave the patio door open. I do get a lot of slugs on my patio at night though, but that doesnt much bother me at all. I live in Saturn Court and it is an even experience in my opinion. Not great, but not bad either. I read a lot of terrible comments but none have been my experience. Sometimes you have to look at the person complaining. And trust me, Ive lived in worst places and better places, but for the price, Northbrook is a win-win until my credit affords me a house of my own.

Based on reviews and a friend saying they had a rodent problem, I was not looking to move here initially but I still decided to check them out due to the location being close to my kids daycare. The leasing office was very rude. I don’t mind waiting but no one greeted me nor asked what I was looking for. After 20 minutes, I left . They only paid attention to people that were already moved in . How do you expect to get more residents being this rude.

WARNING DO NOT MOVE HERE,YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!I did not listen to the reviews and am paying for it everyday.I cant wait until my lease is up,im going to throw the biggest party ever.The whole property is run by mice,they take your rent payments,any food you have,and run around your house like its thiers.Even the school nearby,sent a letter home stating they have one as well(mice and large rats).Living here,your not only paying rent for yourself,your also paying rent for them as well.Think im lying? Ask anyone who lives on this property and theyll tell you,its a mouse motel,listen to the reviews!!!they are not lying.For the amount of rent you pay,you should at least be able to feel comfortable enough to cook in your own kitchen without them running around and you seeing little mice terds everywhere.Exterminator doesnt do much and said it was because of the budget the company pays them.What property do you know of that doesnt give you a copy of your lease after you sign it? Im a month into my stay and after repeated requests for a copy,(which should have been given at the beginning of my stay),still do not have a copy,but they want thier rent on time dont they.You wont have mice in the beginning when you first move in,but before you know it your place will be overloaded with them.They go from house to house running through holes or openings and unfortuantely, your home like the others,WILL have holes that they (maintainence) is going say they cant do nothing about it.But they want thier rent on time right?I called the office to have an exterminator come,each time I was told I would be put on the list.I called the first time,they said they would put a letter on your door explaining what to do.I waited a week,called the day before, and they said I was not on the list and will be put on.I was pissed,they repeated this twice,playing games and finally put me on it the day the exterminator arrived,very unprofessional.When the exterminator did come,he put down sticky traps that I couldve brought myself.If your fine with lots of rodents running around you while your cooking,cleaning,taking a bath,then this is the place for you.If not,you have been warned.Everyone in that rental office besides Dominique should be fired,it seems like shes the only one that gives a.Maintainence issues,problems with your place,if you dont report it to her,it wont get put in.Its a shame,she is only one person having to take the slack for all them others.Again,move here at your OWN risk you have been warned.

I honestly didnt have a problem here, however my man works for pest control so he solved any kind of critter problem early. Had that not been the case at least 2 stars wouldve been taken off. Cause the other houses Im 100% sure have mice problems

This is the worst and unsafe place to move guys hang in the hallways smoking weed leaving the trash in the hallway and dont even live in the building they just hang in them. This to me is very unsafe with all the crime that is going on now days all hours of the day and night. I called them doing office hours and requested that they call the police for this problem and they do nothing. I personally think they should have locks on the building doors with key entry. Not only that I am on the second floor and the people that live over top of me are the worst neighbors ever it sounds like they are walking in my apartment. They walk all night long when I said something to the rental office they begged me not to say anything to them and they would send a letter. The floors here are so old you hear everything for the squeaking of the floors to there conversations. DON NOT MOVE HERE!!!! Carmen the Manager is very very unprofessional they need to FIRER her.

THE MANAGER IS GHETTO AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL HERSELF SO OF COURSE THE REST OF THE STAFF WILL BE TOO. THE RENT SHOULD BE $500 A MONTH. If I could give 0 stars I woould! trust me you do not want to live here. When I came to look at the apartments the agents showed me around, everything was very pleasant and well kept. I thought this would be the perfect place for me. But about a month after I moved in the problems started. My apartment was infested with mice! and whats worse is everytime I called about it they just kept sending some guy out to put down mice pads. After 3-4 visits from the pest control guy who keeps laying sticky pads and constantly arguing with management at the rental office, I had to call the main office of a&g management in glen burnie and threaten to involve the law before they finally sent professionals over to fill holes and supposedly drill poison into the walls. I say supposedly because a few months later the mice were back. Also before I moved in i was very attracted to the full wall windows. they were very big and beautiful and I was told they were all new. LIE. when winter fell my home was freezing, we could see snow falling in the house because the windows had huge gaps in them, and my living room window FELL OUT COMPLETELY during a storm one night. When maintenance arrived they replaced only the window that fell out, the others they simply filled the gaps with some sort of adhesive and now that its warm out, its very hard to get the window open. ITS AN ABSOLUTE MESS. I ran into some women at the laundry facility one afternoon as were all doing laundry. we were all complaining about how they changed the laundry from coin laundry to using debit/credit cards and DID NOT NOTIFY THE RESIDENTS so we all showed up with quarters we couldnt use! As we were all sharing our northbrooke experience the women shared that they too had had issues with mice, roaches, and lack of cooperation from the rental office staff. So its not just me. Not only are there no perks/ amenities for all the money your paying, the rental office agents are very rude, they raise rent (who would continue to pay more for awful service and living conditions is beyond me) and they nickle and dime you for EVERYTHING! I literally have to argue with the manager at the rental office every time something goes wrong simply to get things done properly and they still half-ass do it. Im almost at the end of my year lease and I WILL NOT be renewing my lease, i cant wait to get the hell out of here. save yourself the trouble.

Horrible parking. Residents sometimes can’t even park in their own lots because there is no protocol for vehicles of residents that live here.

Mice, mice, mice!!!!! And very bad customer service!!! I moved into the apartment and a week later I see three mice. I called the office and they basically told me that they werent going to do anything... do not come here, save your money and your sanity!
