Elkridge estates has gorgeous views! The office staff is always kind and goes out of their way to help you. Maintenance is also very knowledgeable and responsive. I love the pool and the gym is convenient.

You will not find a more beautiful or well cared for apartment than you will at Elkridge Estates. The property is stunning, the pool and gym are supremely well- kept, and the staffs commitment to residents happiness is 100%. Ive lived in many apt. Communities around Baltimore, and this one is by far and away the nicest in all regards.

FYI, cats do NOT need to be declawed to be accepted into these apartments. Elkridge is actually a VERY pet friendly community. Nearly everyone in my apartment (including me) all have pets so please dont let the other review scare you off.I moved here virtually sight unseen from outside the country and it was difficult for my husband and I to find a leasing agent that would respond to us promptly, however Sarah from the Elkridge leasing office was absolutely amazing, quick to respond, and very eager to help us. It made moving into our new home easy.The grounds, building, and apartments are very well kept. If there are any maintenance issues, they respond quickly. They consider mold an emergency which was not the case in my previous apartment and something I greatly appreciate. The amenities are top notch. Seriously that nicest apartment gym Ive ever seen for this price bracket.I looked for anything negative or that may come up as a red flag but honestly, the only thing I could think of is that you need to walk 10-20mins to get to a bus, but when you do, it takes your directly downtown so even transit isnt that bad.I love this community and I highly recommend it.

This is the finest apartment complex I have lived in in Baltimore! The staff is fantastic, the facilities are top notch, and the value is WAY underrated.

I went on a tour of Elkridge thinking I’d just have to choose which apartment I wanted. What a disappointment. This place clearly does not have the money to maintain it properly. Their website is misleading and the rental staff dissembled about when things are updated.There aren’t many white cabinets or even granite countertops. I was told every place now had granite. Wrong.I was also told that they only change the cabinets when the originals are worn. Really? What constitutes “worn”? An apartment I was shown had a washer/dryer installed as an update. Instead of replacing all the cabinets to incorporate them, they nailed a 4” x 1” piece of cabinet across the top of the washer/dryer to make it look enclosed. You could see the dryer vent above the 4”! Doesn’t that qualify for replacement?There are awnings over every balcony. They used to be burgundy. Now they’re a light pink and threadbare. I was told they’re getting rid of them as tenants move in. Huh? I didn’t see one single apartment without one. Economies of scale!!!! So those weren’t going. And, the outdoor carpet was scary.I’ve already written a book here, but you should know the truth before you rent. I was really disappointed. The place needs better management, serious updating and a truthful staff.

Love living here, great experience, feels like living in the suburbs with great central location. Staff is very nice and friendly. Great service and huge apartments.

Renters beware - they require that cats be declawed - a HORRIBLE and INHUMANE procedure that is illegal in some states! Dont support animal cruelty, look elsewhere.
