Cant beat this location! The area is super walkable and close to some of my favorite bars/restaurants in the city. The staff here are always professional and responsive, and I can truly say this is the best of Mount Vernon living.

Ive lived in The Madison since the summer, and I have only good things to say about it! When I was looking for an apartment back in the spring, Bay Management was the nicest and most helpful company I contacted. I also love my apartment! Its a good price, good location, good management, spacious, and CLEAN (vital to me). I was also impressed with the other locations I visited that were owned by Bay Management. And Karen has been very kind and accessible, (which I cant say was true for other management companies Ive leased from in Baltimore...) So Ive been very happy with Bay Management and highly recommend them! :)

I was quite pleasantly surprised how affordable this apartment is for its great location. The building is very well managed and clean.

I currently live in one of their buildings and love my apartment. The staff is so nice and really accommodating. Ive lived in a number of buildings in Baltimore and this is by far the best one. Everyone from the leasing team to maintenance makes you feel warm and welcome. Its very clean and cozy and best of all - ECO friendly! This building is has LED lighting, energy saving appliances and plumbing and recycling. Theres a lot of cool lounges to hang out in Mount Vernon, a movie theater on Charles, multiple coffee shops and bars, gym etc the location is pretty good overall and you can get anywhere local or on the east coast from the Amtrak station 2 blocks away.

I have been renting from Mount Vernon Apartments for over 2 years. The entire experience is awesome – great neighborhood and very cool apartment with hardwood floors. The manager Karen is the best. She responds to your needs fast and efficient. All maintenance request are processed fast and efficient as well.

Wonderful place to live. The management team is very kind and helpful, I love being steps away from the monument, multiple coffee shops and the new rooftop bar at the Revival Hotel. I also enjoy talking about the famous architecture to out of town guests. Its great to come home and walk through such a magnificent neighborhood every day.

Brooke was amazing to work with. She was patient, and spent 2 hours showing my boyfriend and me 6 different apartments. We ended up going with an amazing duplex that is 1 block from starbucks, the train station, and lots of other retail. It seems like they own half the neighborhood which since we looked all up and down mount Vernon, in all different price ranges from $800 to $2,000 per month. The apartment also had parking which is key so you don’t have to park on the street. I would recommend mount Vernon apartments for sure, they are professional and honest.

Mount Vernon Apartments is easily the best landlord Ive ever encountered. Ive lived with them for over 2 years. They offer great service--maintenance requests have been handled quickly and efficiently. Karen, the property manager, is a gem. You can have your packages delivered to the management office (really nice this time of year for online holiday shopping!) and they also have a gym discount program (to work off that holiday cheer). Apartments are well maintained. Highly recommended. They’ve been flexible and accommodating, too; it was easy for me to move from a studio to a 1 bedroom when I needed more space to work from home.

Beautiful modern apartments in Mount Vernon, in a great location with not too much noise, and very friendly people. They didn’t have parking at my specific property but they had a spot a block away which is very nice. Seems like great management so far and they had several different floor plans for me to look at. Very happy so far!

Awesome apartment!!! The is truly the best place I have ever lived. Located in the HEART of Mount Vernon! Management is impeccable. Everyone that lives here falls in love with this location, building and management. During my five months at The Madison I have had nothing but favorable impressions toward the quality of my apartment, the building as a whole, and the management of the property by Karen. The property is always clean. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. When my refrigerator was replaced on the day after I submitted a maintenance request about it, I knew I was in a good place.

I love living at Mount Vernon apartments. The historical architecture is incredible with 12 foot high ceilings, huge bay windows, and a large bedroom with hardwood floors. My building was originally a railroad barons mansion from 100 year ago and has a huge open stairwell and wood paneling everywhere. The short distance from my apartment to work, the train station, and all the cool hotspots bars and restaurants make it super convenient. Most importantly, the service is top notch. Every time I email the maintenance supervisor or the manager I get a reply within a couple of hours, sometimes minutes.

5 stars for me! I lived in a one bedroom apartment and the price was great for the location (great neighborhood with lots of bars/restaurants). Open plan kitchen made it feel large and light in the living area. Rest of the apartment was spacious. Easy parking. Only had small problems like locking myself out, but the management team is quick (as they are onsite) and very polite. I would highly recommend this place if you are on the market.

I loved living here. As an ex-resident of a nearby property, living here was like upgrading from a budget inn with roaches to Hyatt. Every employee at Mount Vernon Apartments is A class - Im not sure who hires and trains the staff here but they deserve a round of applause. The leasing and property manager are a breath of fresh air each time I walked by the front office. Karen and her team are always smiling and creating a welcoming atmosphere to make all of the residents feel like part of a tight knit community.

I rented an apartment at Mount Vernon and loved living there! The building was well located to downtown, giving me a super easy commute to my job. The management team really stood out and impressed me with their quick responses and attentiveness to any questions that I had. Karen on the management team was really fantastic. Far and away better than most apartments in the city that I looked at. Couldnt recommend it here more and would return in a second if I move back to Baltimore!

I lived here during for the last 3 years. The apartment I live in is so cool, 12 foot ceilings, hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances and a little laundry room in the bathroom closet. The staff is super responsive and very nice.

The leasing team at Mount Vernon Apartments was incredibly helpful, friendly and professional in providing me ample choices within budget while searching for a place to live in Mount Vernon. Throughout the entire process they were always quick to respond to my many emails and texts. Finding housing can often be a very stressful ordeal but for the first time in my life I can say that Mount Vernon Apartments made it not only easy, but exciting! I just moved in earlier this month and so far Im very happy with my apartment choice and will plan on staying here for a while.

Great apartment in a fun part of town! There is not much noise from the street and none from other residents of this solid brick building. The whole management team was very helpful and accommodating in the initial leasing process and during our 2 years living at the building. I just loved how I could text or email them and we got a reply right away… no need to leave a voicemail and play phone tag.

While I was looking for a place for both my wife and I as she was moving from halfway across the country, I was given excellent assistance and recommendations from the Bay Management team. Brooke was incredible looking at additional properties I hadnt seen yet, and she found ways to make them work with our circumstances and we couldnt be happier with the apartment we found right in the thick of Mt Vernon. Our apartment is incredible and weve had such a positive relationship with the property manager, Karen. Shes been so pleasant to work with and has gone above and beyond.

I have really enjoyed living here. I feel very safe both in and around the building. The residents that I have met have always been respectful and nice.The staff is fantastic. Ive never been on a first-name-basis with maintenance guys before but these are trustworthy guys who really go the extra mile. The property manager has been a pleasure to work with, and the other staff members are always friendly and helpful.

We’ve lived here for over a year and must say we have been very happy with the apartment and the management. I’ve lived in several apartments after college and this company is by far the most responsive to any request that we make. They take care of every request we’ve ever made either same day or the next day. The neighborhood is great and the apartment is nice but it’s really the responsive management which keeps us here.

I lived at Mount Vernon Apartments when I was getting my Masters Degree; I cannot say enough how much I enjoyed this apartment. Not only is it located in a wonderful area and so close to the train, after late night study sessions. But I also had the option of being near the bus and a parking lot was right next to the building. I happen to think I am a great cook, and this apartment had tons of counter space for all my masterpieces. The apartment had high ceilings, which always made me feel as though I lived in a palatial palace. My best friend is my four legged dog, who loved the building as well. I met many other neighbors with dogs, who I have kept in touch with since. Gotta love those doggie dates. I would highly recommend this building to anyone looking for a wonderful place to come home to every night. The cherry on top was how lovely the staff was day in and day out. I lived in the Mount Vernon property while I commuted two nights a week to DC for graduate school. The proximity to the train was excellent and the value for the apartment was pretty good.The team would always get back to me with any issues or maintenance requests and I definitely enjoyed my three years living here.

I have rented with Bay Management for over the last year (they bought out previous owner). With that being said, Karen has been a great property manager! She is available when needed, will do her best by the tenants and is always super friendly. Mike the jack of all trades maintenance guru is one of the friendlies people you will ever meet. He is authentic and takes pride in his work. I would recommend anyone to renting from Karen and any of the properties she manages.

Great buildings with friendly staff. Well maintained and public areas always clean and smoke free (love that!). Spacious apartments with many old details. Location is wonderful right in the middle of Mount Vernon near I-83 and a 5 minute walk from the train station, downtown, and many good shops and restaurants. They didn’t have parking available at my building for the first month so I had to park at another of their buildings, but it opened up at my building after a month and then I got a garaged spot right by my front door.

Excellent maintenance and management. Very clean and I always felt safe in the apartment building. So glad that I chose to live here. Management is always responsive right away and very helpful especially in maintenance situations. Highly recommend the building!

After living here for several years, I cant find one thing I dont love about my apartment, the staff, the location.. the list goes on. The staff takes care of any minor issue SO quickly and makes everything so easy! Youre not only in the best neighborhood but youre taken care of in the best way. Easy living!

Lived here from 2016-2018. Staff is great, I locked myself out of the apartment and they came within 15 minutes at 10pm on a weekday night to let me in. Older buildings on the exterior but everything seems to be renovated on the interior. The leasing process was easy, everything is online and quick. Probably the best neighborhood in Baltimore to live in with plenty of food, night life, and transportation options.

Could not be happier with Mount Vernon Apartments. From the beginning they have been very helpful by finding us a sweet apartment and getting us moved within the week.Last week after the wind storm, we had a leaky window and they sent someone the same day to repair it. Our property manager Karen is always responsive and the maintenance guys Mike and Logan are always friendly and professional.

This is a great company to rent from! My apartment is in great shape and the area is 10/10. My last place near Hopkins was a dump and the slumlord would never fix anything. Mount Vernon Apartments is 10/10 compared to 1/10 for my last landlord who didnt even have email!!!!

The staff here are awesome and amazing. Maintenance staff is just as awesome, anytime I put in a maintenance order thru their app you get a confirmation and the job gets done. Since moving to Baltimore, This has been the best building that I have lived in. Views are great. I can see the monument and the inner harbor. The management team are very professional and friendly. Great place to live, super safe in mount Vernon and walking distances to all the new cool food places, mount Vernon marketplace and the rooftop bar at hotel revival. Management is very responsive if you email them they always reply same day. The actual apartment is bright with huge 8’ high windows and 12’ ceilings, with a new kitchen and bath.

I highly recommend Mount Vernon apartments. I lived there while getting my Masters. Everyone was very friendly. I got along well with my neighbors but thankfully couldnt hear them because the walls were thick. I live in New York now and really miss all the extra space I had. I never cary cash or change so having credit card operated laundry in the basement was a plus. I really liked that it was right near the bus and train since I dont drive. I send and receive multiple packages each week so I was glad that Mount Vernon Apartments ran a package delivery center two blocks away. I love to cook and enjoyed the spacious kitchen. The maintenance and management was very quick to respond anytime I needed help. Its a great place to live.

I have loved living in the Mt vernon apartments! the location is amazing. Very close to the train and all kinds of great restaurants. I was also very impressed with the management of the building. They always responded to any requests i had very quickly!

Mount Vernon Apartments made the rental process no hassles. I looked at a couple of apartments and then applied online and reserved the apartment I’m in within a couple of hours. I have a 2 bedroom with my husband with high 12’ ceilings, granite countertops, and hardwood floors. Very happy and love the garage parking as well.

Our apartment at Mt Vernon Apts is literally perfect. The best possible location a half block from Charles, half block from Mount Vernon Marketplace, and 3 blocks from Penn Station. They took all of the stress out of leasing and moving process and were always helpful whenever I had any questions. It was a completely different experience than the private owner I dealt with before who never picked up his phone when I would call to have something fixed.

That is how I would describe my experience at Mount Vernon Apartments.I lived in a former mansion built in 1880 for a railroad tycoon that was then cut up at some point into full floor apartments. My 2 bedroom overlooked all of Baltimore and had hardwood floors, high ceilings, and central heating and air.Couldn’t beat the price, quality, and service whenever I looked anywhere else.

Awesome place to live, first spot I picked after moving to Baltimore and have been here three years with no plans to leave. Staff is great they always go above and beyond, used to help guide me towards the best restaurants and help me find things to do in the city. Great location plus really nice and new on the inside. I’ve heard horror stories from other apartments, glad I got in to one of the good ones- only had a few maintence things come up over the years but each time I was able to reach someone right away and they actually came to fix it right away too.

I can honestly say that the management and staff have been excellent. They are always courteous and quick to help resolve any issue or concern. I once locked myself out of my apt and they responded and assisted almost immediatly!

The most impressive apartment company I’ve seen in Mount Vernon after living in other buildings in the area. Great location near the monument and the service is what you would expect from a modern company, email, text and online communication. You can pay your rent online and submit maintenance requests online which I really appreciated after having to leave messages on my old landlords voicemail and wonder if they were received, and remember to mail checks and wonder if they were received. They gave me several choices of buildings to live in and I ended up picking a large 1 bedroom with hardwood floors and a washer and dryer.

In such a gem of a location! One block from the Monument/ easy access to public transport and its just incredibly affordable and easy to live in. The management here is ON TOP of things, especially Karen, who runs the office. She is incredibly trustworthy and tries her best to help you get the best experience here - a rare type of interaction with property managers. Maintenance is pretty on call and fixes things straight away. Its a great place for a student that wants a prime location and a no frills accommodation. My studio on the 7th floor with hardwood was super charming with a great view of the city. Overall, highly recommend, made my blind move from the West Coast much less freaky.

I moved here last August. Its been an overall pleasant experience, all of my concerns have been addressed in a timely manner and Karen is very willing to work with tenants. She has been professional through every interaction and I appreciate the services offered by MV Apartments.

Management is tech friendly and up to date with society. I actually facetimed with the leasing team and then applied online and put down a deposit all within 24 hours. Love the constant email communication, its really refreshing after having an old school landlord where I had to call and leave a voicemail and hope they got the voicemail by the end of the day or would not get back to me timely. Anyone who likes emails and texts over playing phone tag and the waiting game would really appreciate this place. I even pay my rent online so there is no way a rent check can be lost in the mail. I just love all the transparency and convenience here. Everything has been great thus far.

First off - Very helpful and friendly management staff (usually these people hate their jobs/lives and are rude and miserable). Karen has gone out of her way replying at all hours when I have had any questions before I moved in, or now that Im living here. Love living here, the building is like a tank since it was built 100 years ago the walls must be a foot thick. I never hear my neighbors unlike other buildings where I had issues sleeping before.

Solid landlord with very nice historical buildings. The apartment I rented is large with views of downtown and I’ve never had an issue that wasn’t responded to within 24 hours. Recommend living here.

The location of my building couldn’t be better. It is across from starbucks and 1 block from penn station. Very nice apartment with new appliances, big windows, central air and a garage parking spot. Would recommend these apartments, professionally managed and great location.

Customer Service here was second to NONE!!! Professional and respectful staff that I truly miss - They are here for their posted hours and respect each and every tenant. Also, they responded to every email/request I ever sent. Trust me, not a common feature at other places I’ve lived. Ive sent emails to my current management with a much lower reply rate and the rent here is 2x higher. MV never missed a beat. Its true what they say, you never miss a good thing until its gone. MV is the place to be and I highly recommend it!!!

My boyfriend lived in a property managed by Bay Management for a number of years. Customer services was slow to respond and pest problems periststed. I held off being negative until I saw all these magical 5 star reviews popping up all within a week. Don’t be deceited this is not some new company that appeared overnight these guys have a terrible reputation if you look where it matters.The flurry of positive reviews all within last week is proof positive that these guys are more concerned about beefing up their fake reputation, than taking real measures to improve the quality of their rentals over time and truly service their tenants with quality apartments.Verify Bay management on website that truly vet their reviews and reviewers!

Great historical buildings in the middle of everything in the best neighborhood in baltimore, walking distance to all restaurants/bars, Penn Station, Hopkins, UB, UMD. Very responsive management, the leasing team met me on a Saturday afternoon and I moved in on Monday. All of the maintenance people I’ve met are nice and professional.

I lived in one of the buildings last year while my boyfriend was getting his MBA and I was working in DC at a local PR and events firm. The apartment was located close to the train so it was easy for me to enjoy working in DC while paying much less in rent. Additionally, my boyfriend was able to use the Hopkins shuttle so we didnt even need a car! The neighborhood has great restaurants, fitness studios and all the conveniences youd expect from city living (Starbucks, CVS, etc.). Its also a 15 minute walk or 5 minute Uber to downtown and the harbor, which is great on the weekends or when guests are in town. The apartment had plenty of character - it was a historic brownstone with 12 foot ceilings, granite countertops and a washer/dryer. I now live in NYC and miss the thick walls, finishes and attentive management. Ive heard many management horror stories and Mount Vernon Apartments provides fast and thorough service - a quality I value in a management company! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a positive Baltimore apartment experience.

After being away here for a few months I realized how spoiled I was here. Sure the buildings were old but now I am in a different apartment complex in a different state and I can see the comparisons. Here are some of the things MVA offered that is usually lacking with other places.1. Very clean facilities - other places my have very dirty trash rooms with bugs, even if cleaned daily, or dirty elevators or halls. Not here.2. Professional and responsive staff - They are here for their posted hours. Other places may have staff leave early which can be inconvenient. Also, they respond to every email and inquiry they get. Trust me, not a common feature. Ive sent emails to my current management with about a 30% reply rate and the rent here is 3x higher. MV never missed a beat.3. No blame game - with landlords or other management companies they might accuse you when its not your fault, and you really have to fight not to get charged. MVA isnt like that.So I miss that premium customer service MVA provides. You dont realize it until youre gone.

The staff isn’t educated or friendly, they keep the hallways of most building dirty and don’t clean them so there’s roaches in the foyer.
