So far me and my husband jus moved here yesterday its our first apartment together. And we went from renting a room to an apartment. Im not from Baltimore but my husband is and in NYC I swear I cant afford nothing like this in NYC this is beautiful and Im looking forward to trying the gym out so yeah I definitely am satisfied so far. Plus me and husband feels allot more close to each other like the struggle hopefully is finally over.
Gorgeous details; truly luxurious. Gym, meeting room, office, mail room, etc. Additionally, the front desk attendant, Mary, is incredibly kind.
Excellent apartment building. Lived there for four years while completing graduate studies at Hopkins. Very clean, impeccable maintenance service, fire alarm and other checks done on a regular basis. Front desk service was the most helpful aspect. Package delivery was always handled with care and accuracy. Even though the rent is not cheap, The Standard provides great value for money and the rent included all utilities so I did not have to worry about other expenses. Very trust-worthy staff and friendly manager. If you are ever there, ask for Manuel, Shelly or the famous Ms. Mary. They will take good care of you.
I stayed one year in this building. I highly recommend it. The apartments are spacious and well equipped. The team is professional and always address your needs. Location is perfect.
I lived there for about 2 years and can attest to that fact that the building is managed by some of the most consciousness and helpful people! Every work order I had was completed within 24hours and more often less than that.
I needed an apartment for 4 months and Standard offered me a very nice apartment on a regular rent and no surcharges. Apartments are very nice, building is close to all you need, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed staying there.
The Standard on St. Paul Street is an excellent example of downtown cosmopolitan living in Baltimore. The building is in a great location being close to historic Mt. Vernon and also being close to the Inner Harbor/The Charmtastic Mile and all the other main downtown attractions. The staff are extremely professional. Very nice amenities to the building as well.
2 stars because it is a nice building to live, although the building has a history or murder-suicide that most of you dont know about, but the staffs make easy money and they are really rude to staffs at times, so best thing is to talk to the corporate. Because they really do step out of lines and try to weed out residents they dont want.
Started the process with the former property manager Farrah who was very knowledgeable and helpful with all the questions and concerns I’ve had as I’m a new student to the Baltimore area. Thought it was pricey she made me comfortable enough that I was really sold on the site. I recently called in to ask a few additional questions and was hoping to be moved in promptly if it were applicable but a new rep answered who wasn’t as helpful as I would of hoped and came off quite sarcastic. Will be looking for different housing
I loved living here. Located at the boundary of downtown and mount vernon, AND close to Hopkins East Campus shuttle stop, I would recommend this place to anyone.
I lived in a deluxe studio here for two years, and the only reason I am leaving is because I am graduating from school. The studio is a great size for a single individual and offers top notch appliances. The only maintenance request I submitted during my two years was to change the batteries of the fire alarm in my apartment, which was completed immediately. The staff here including the front desk attendants and maintenance staff know all the tenants names and are extremely friendly and helpful. The manager, Farrah, is incredible and will do everything possible to make sure you are comfortable. The only con I can think of is the parking garage. The spaces in the garage are very small, so expect dings on your doors from other cars hitting them. Additionally, it is across the street from the building which can be a hassle carrying groceries and other items from your car. Other than that, everything was wonderful. I would absolutely recommend this apartment complex.
The building is very pretty, but the apartments are not very nice. The staff are all friendly, but I felt a bit manipulated on my lease. I’m a travel nurse so I asked for a 3 month lease starting and ending on particular dates. I was told this was fine and signed the lease. Unfortunately I didn’t read the lease closely and the lease actually indicated that I had to pay until the end of the month in which I was leaving. So, since I came in the middle of the month, I had to pay for 3 and a half months instead of the three months when I was there. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment for travel nurses. Better off using Furnishedfinder or Airbnb where prices are much lower and move in and move out dates are clearly set.
Excellent staff and well managed building. It’s been a pleasure living in apartment.
Awesome place to live with friendly staff!
I will have to say after having to move from the Standard apartments all other places do not compare to living here. The Standard truly set the standard when it comes to living. Both Anna and Farrah (sp?) were amazing leasing agents and made me feel right at home. Yes the cost was a little steep (especially for a then graduate student haha) BUT it was worth it living in a relatively safe area of bmore (in Mt. Vernon). All the security (doormen/women) were a pleasure. Pros: everything is included in the rent (do need to buy cable, and I think internet now?, when I was there it was included) good construction of walls (never heard anyone), beautiful location and view of downtown bmore, I miss the business center so much, close parking garage that comes, fitness room, no pest Cons: no in house washer and dryer, price, use to have a restaurant attached on the bottom floor but closed when I moved in. Best place I have ever lived! Would certainly recommend! Only reason for leaving is graduating, Enjoy!
Perfect place to live, historic, convenient, luxurious, beautiful, clean and very reasonably priced!!!
First apartment and I love it!
You dont have 100% control over the A/C. I live in the 15th floor and somehow the apartment is not cold enough.
Welcome To The Standard Apartments Building!
