520 has its hiccups but overall is a good place to live with a very competitive price point, in comparison to other luxury buildings in the area. Maintenance has always been reliable, Brian is phenomenal, and the leasing team is the greatest that I’ve come across— specifically, Newly appointed assistant manager, Brittany, Keenon and Essence!
520 Park has beautiful apartments conveniently located in the Mount Vernon District of Baltimore. Walking distance from great food and drinks as well as easy access to major freeways if your job requires you to commute. The leasing staff is always professional and will do everything they can to help. Maintenance is friendly and responsive. Most tickets are resolved same day to day after putting the ticket in. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants an upscale feel without the upscale price.
Great! Ive only had 1 long-wait fix order. I have had no issues with the staff. Every aspect of the building is very nice, and the community is pleasant (can get a bit loud with cars having obnoxious exhausts etc...) - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings
I have been grateful to call 520 Park my home since 2017. I moved here from Chicago, and this building will always have a special place in my Baltimore history as my first home here. I love everything about my apartment - beautiful hardwood floors, granite countertops, high ceilings, and amazing closet space. In pre-pandemic times, I loved nothing more than hosting weekend visitors from Chicago or having dinner at the Marketplace with new friends from Baltimore to show off my space. Aside from the apartment itself, the amenities are wonderful and the building grounds are always clean and well taken care of. The staff at 520 is wonderful - the leasing office and maintenance are always friendly and super quick to respond to questions concerns. Location is great - I love being so close to the Mount Vernon Marketplace, Trinacria, the monument, etc. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a home in Baltimore.
My partner and I have lived at 520 Park for over 6-7 years. The management and team there have provided nothing but stellar support and weve been very happy with our living arrangements for all these years. Maintenance is super responsive and the amenities (most are closed because of COVID) are amazing. Being so close to the marketplace as well is definitely a plus as well in addition to Ceremony Coffee. This is a complex that really appreciates all of its residents and I am so sad that we will have to go! This comes with the highest of recommendations from us.
I recently moved into a 1-bedroom apartment at 520 Park Apartments and I can say I am thoroughly impressed with the apartment and management. Katie McGehee helped me with the entire application process and she went out of her way to ensure my move-in was as easy as possible. With her help, I was able to learn more about the apartment, do a virtual tour, sign all documents, and move-in all in less than two weeks. She even personally moved my 20+ Amazon packages directly to my apartment before I arrived, and that was the absolute sweetest thing someone could do for someone moving across the country with a cat. I’ve lived in several apartments before in three different cities, and I can say that this has been my best experience to date. As a current grad student of JHU, I was impressed by how quiet, spacious, and updated the building is. My apartment looked even better in person than it did in the online tour and the amenities are wonderful with a fitness center, mailroom, resident lounge, study spaces and even a ping-pong table. I would absolutely recommend living here!
I cant say enough about 520 Park! From the very first time I visited the property, it felt like home. The rental office/concierge team was incredibly friendly and welcoming! Touring the property, I was blown away by the amenities, the attention to detail, and cleanliness. Having lived previously in a similar style property in DC, I can tell you this is a superior property at a much better price. And let me just say this about our unit: from the super HIGH ceilings to the beautiful hard wood floors and a HUGE closet with a washer/dryer, there is no place you would rather be. And if something ever needed maintenance? NO problem. All I had to do was request service through the Resident Portal App and someone was there the next day to fix it. To sum it up, 520 Park is where you want to call HOME in Baltimores beautiful Mt Vernon neighborhood, and frankly, if it wasnt for a relocation back home to CA, I have no doubt I would been stayed at 520 Park for the foreseeable future. What are you waiting for...take a tour already! I guarantee youll love it as much I did.
Ive been living at 520 Park apartments for almost a year now and definitely recommend anyone looking to live in the Mount Vernon area. 520 Park is situated in a great neighborhood, which is close to restaurants, the Inner Harbor, and so much more. The leasing consultants and property managers provide excellent customer service. By far the best Ive seen with apartment complexes. Maintenance has always been quick to fix any problems. Unlike most apartments in the Mount Vernon area, 520 Park has surface and garage parking available to its residents.
From the first time I met Chris, the former leasing agent at 520 Park, I was bowled over by his friendliness and professionalism. I also loved the apartment he showed me -- a beautiful top-floor unit with incredibly high ceilings, hardwood floors, and an in-unit washer dryer. As a tenant, 520 Park continued to impress me, from the accessibility of their concierge team to the free food and drinks at regular tenant happy hours and holiday parties. I also loved how close 520 Park was to everything! Mt Vernon is truly one of the best neighborhoods in Baltimore. I left for a job opportunity out of state, but honestly would have been thrilled to stay much, much longer. Five stars!
I’ve lived in three different apartments over the past eight years and this one has been the worst experience by far.The least egregious complaint I have is about the units themselves. I’ve lived in two different units and both have had terrible washer/dryer units. I’m not alone in my experience as at least two other people in the building have echoed this sentiment. Be prepared to spend at least three and a half hours washing one load of laundry. The staff is largely unhelpful and incompetent. Driving home one night around 10, I hit a pothole and got a flat tire. Because there is a steep incline in the building’s garage, in which I pay $160 a month to park in, I decided to park in the building’s parking lot until the morning when I could call a tow truck to the nearest dealership. Part of the reason I parked in the lot was also due to the fact that there have been several break ins here and I was afraid my car would be a target for that on the street. For whatever reason, there was no concierge working this particular night so I could not let them know my situation. When I woke up the next morning and saw that my car was towed to an impound lot, I went to the leasing office and explained my situation. Instead of taking responsibility for lack of coverage and offering to pay at least half of the towing fee as I’ve since found out most apartment complexes will, I was told (with very little effort or research on my behalf) there was nothing they could do. This is an apartment complex that could easily spend the $350 for the full release fee for my car, yet they did not bother to spend 3 minutes looking into the matter. The pool is hardly one and recently they implemented a fee for guests as if it was the Merritt. Half the outlets in my apartment work. I could go on but I probably sound petty now.Do not move here. You’ll end up paying $1500 for a one bd when you can get better amenities and a more helpful and empathetic staff elsewhere.
The finest gem in all of Baltimore — It is truly the most amazing experience to live in such an incredibly comfortable and luxurious setting. The wonderful staff is phenomenal and so accessible Coming home to the warm ambiance of the resident lounge and the cozy outdoor fire in the courtyard is so inviting and refreshing after a long and stressful day at work. I would recommend 520 Park to anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing place to live.
Have lived at 520 park since the building opening and have no plans to move. Apartments are beautiful with new and modern amenities. Staff is friendly and super responsive. Parking is easy and great. The building is quiet and clean. Concierge service makes having packages delivered easy. The location is wonderful. Plenty of places within walking distance to eat and drink including the brand new Mt. Vernon Marketplace on the first floor of the building. Highly recommend 520 park.
I really love living at 520 Park. I was one of there first tenants and I can forsee myself staying here for awhile. The apartments are beautiful. The amenities are great. Most of all, the staff is awesome. Tenants are well informed and treated extremely well. This place is the best!
Living here is fantastic. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The building is clean and modern. All the amenities I need are here. I cant imagine a better place to live in Baltimore. Love 520 Park!
Absolutely the best apartment building Ive ever lived in! The amenities and location are fantastic, but what really makes 520 Park the best is the building management team. The only reason for moving out of this gem is because were moving out of Baltimore.Brian, Chris and David are always available and make for the most reasonable, resident-friendly leasing team Ive interacted with. All our maintenance requests were looked at immediately by the amazing maintenance crew headed by John. The events organized by these guys are always fun!Brian in particular, has gone out of his way time and again to ensure my wife and I were having the best experience possible at the building. Hes made our stay a very satisfying one. The best building manager Ive interacted with!
I moved to 520 Park at the end of January 2015 and from the moment I stumbled upon the building, I was greeted with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. I was given a tour same-day and not once during the tour did I feel like I was being sold or pressured to complete an application. The cost, amenities, and overall quality of the building and unit was something I couldnt pass up. I knew if I walked away I would be making a big mistake and the apartment would be gone. The move-in process was seamless and was much easier due to the private loading dock. The Leasing Agent was a great help throughout the entire process even after moving in and getting settled. The addition of the Mount Vernon Marketplace sets this location apart from many other locations in the city. The joy of literally walking downstairs to pick up something to eat, drink, or grabbing a last minute item while I make dinner is awesome.I havent experienced anything negative but one suggestion would be to increase the number of above-ground parking spaces. Coming home late at night, parking can be a little challenging and I have a small fear of getting towed because there are next to no spaces.I enjoy living at 520 Park and Im happy to call it home.
Absolutely love living at 520! Essence has to be one of the best leasing agents we have ever dealt with and everything is maintained so well! Not only have the leasing agents been extremely helpful and accomodating, but the neighbors are incredible as well! We have become friends with various people from the building. We have a dog and have been very welcomed by both the staff and neighbors with Dozer! The staff even keeps treats and dog toys in the lobby area/leasing office! We absolutely love the community. Not only is the community great, but so is the apartment itself! We pay a little extra for a unit with a balcony but we LOVE it! The apartments are definitely like new, very spacious, and EXTREMELY well laid out. We are very happy with it overall. You dont really hear your neighbors ever, except when we are outside talking over the fence to ours :) Would HIGHLY recommend living at 520!
520 Park seriously has it all- from the leasing staff, the maintenance staff, or custodial staff, they consistently perform all of their responsibilities with great professionalism. I have NEVER had a problem here, and if something happens (say, a light burns out) the staff is at my apartment within the hour to fix it and leave with a smile! Packages are always in perfect condition (and the staff sends me a courtesy email the instant its ready to be picked up in their secure locker system), my mail is always where it should be, and all the amenities are NEW and functioning! I honestly never write reviews, and I feel this one wont do justice to the incredible place I get to call home, but I had to at least say something about my excellent experience here at 520.
The staff are super friendly and helpful - theyve helped me jump my car when it died one morning, and during the snow storm they worked late hours to ensure the parking lots and sidewalks were clear. The building hosts parties frequently - we have had pizza parties and ice cream socials.Ive lived in the building for over a year now and cant imagine living anywhere else. It feels like home.
Pristine, accommodating, and one of a kind. You won’t find anything better in Baltimore
I love this place sooooo much! Its so beautiful and management is awesome. Favorite place Ive ever lived. :)
Simply the best. Everything you could possibly need and the most helpful staff that has ever existed. I have lived in numerous apartments and my two years at 520 Park were my favorite. I wouldnt be leaving if it wasnt for a new adventure taking me to Miami. The location is great, especially with the marketplace and Ceremony Coffee on the first floor. Parking is easy. You can purchase a spot or I actually got by with street parking for two years and never needed a permit, so if you cant scrap the extra money for a spot, it is probably one of the few places in the city that street parking is doable.PET Friendly.. this place even has a dog washing station and poop bags hanging as you walk out the door... I havent had to buy poop bags now for two years!! It really is the little things. And CLEAN, CLEAN CLEAN.. When i walked through the buildings front door after a long day of work, I would take a deep breath and think to myself how clean and fresh the building feels/smells.Chris McGrath in the front office and John with the lead on maintenance... they make themselves easily accessible for you with whatever you need. They put COMMUNITY as a top priority, for everything, in terms of safety and to the many free social gatherings they host. They even held a CPR certification training for residents for free! Before I moved to 520 Park, I searched so many apartments, and while this location was at the tippy-top of my budget, I realized that what you get for the price is unmatched. As I look back, I wouldnt choose to live anywhere else and Im truly going to miss it here.
First apartment building I have ever recommended to anyone.
Very Quaint and Unique!
