Daniel B. was really great. Great communication when my car broke down. He took some time to check out the engine with me so he would be able to give my repair shop a full report. He was fast and professional. He let me know once my car arrived at the shop as well. I would def use them again!
Justin H. was exceptional in all areas of service: timeliness, professionalism, and results. My keys fell down a storm drain, and he was able to quickly determine what needed to be done, and had my keys back above ground within a minute. Beyond his professionalism, Justin is a truly kind person, and I would like to nominate myself as the future president of his fan club. Keep doin what you do, Justin!
Car was towed to their lot after an accident. Called to ask about picking up the car and was told person to talk to would be in the following week. Was charged a daily fee during the time we had to wait to talk to someone about picking up the car.
Got out quickly to Give me a tow back to Kyle from Austin no issues thanks guys
These drivers drive very dangerously on the road. License T72-97K is putting everyone in danger.
AVOID this place!! I would give this rip off place zero stars if I could! My son was involved in a car vs. motorcycle crash on Monday. Cops called this towing company. I spoke to Aly and he said it would be $288 to get the bike out of impound, and another $150 to have it towed to my house. It was less than 4 hours old, we just got out of the ER! I drove my son there with his broken collarbone to look at his bike. Aly was hesitant to give me the key to see if the bike would even start. He hovered over us while my son decided what to do about his bike and then ripped the key from my sons hand as soon as he turned the bike off. What was my son going to do? Drive it off the lot with 1 hand? My son decided to pay the $210 to LEAVE the bike there since it was totaled, otherwise, he would be sent to collections, according to Aly. I asked if my son could have the key, to which Aly replied what do you want key for? I told him its his 1st bike, its demolished, he wants it as a memento. Nope, Aly said we are tow company, we keep key to which I said, what in the world are you going to do with the key? The bike is not driveable . He didnt have an answer and just asked for the title and the money! What a bunch of BS! I dont have a lot of experience with wrecks or towing companies but this is definitely quite the scam and racketeer business model. AVOID this place if at all possible, and dont let the cops call this towing company for you!! Worst experience for a 19 year old that just wrecked his bike and had a near death experience, no sympathy whatsoever! F@ck this place!
They will park their tow trucks in your residential neighborhood. When you remind them it is illegal, they’ll swear at you over the phone. Urban is the manager they will refer you to, but don’t waste your time with him. Call the San Antonio office to talk to the owner who also doesn’t care. To mirror another post on here about day drinking, I have seen their trucks flying down access roads at high rates of speed. If you call them their response is that they don’t care.
Thanks for the great service and going the extra mile ! Armada is a Triple A service provider and they were extremely professional.
This tow company lacks professionalism and respect for its customers. Three day in a row now I have been trying to get my vehicle towed. They have told me it would take 1-2 hours after two and a half hours I called to get an eta and was told it’s going to take another hour. I am. It as upset of the delay as much as I am about the lack of communication. When I called to get an eta a VRRY RUDE lady “Jasmine” picked up and proceeded to tell me I should be glad I am next in line, she has customers that have been waiting for over 3 hours. Basically I will NEVER use this company again.
Towed my Mazda 3 after a wreck, the car was totalled so the title was turned over to Armada. That car has since been resold, or kept, without properly transferring the title to the new owner. This car is now being driven around under my name incurring toll bills that Im responsible for. This was my first time ever signing over a title and did so under the instructions of one of the employees here. Obviously something nefarious happened that I was not aware of.I arrived at their office today to discuss this situation and nobody was there. Their trailer was totally open, filled with trash, and the front of the trailer was littered with empty Modelo beer bottles. So, you can only imagine the quality of work these boys are doing, day-drinking, getting behind the wheel of a tow-truck, handling your vehicles along with heavy machinery. Great!Shady business, dishonest work, and a total slum in presentation. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Ive used these guys a couple of times, via AAA, and they are fantastic. Just used them this morning when I needed a key replacement made. Always courteous and helpful.I dont often leave reviews, but felt the need to leave one here. It was really hot in the middle of a pandemic, so the technician had every excuse to not deliver first-class customer service. But they were still top-notch and Im thankful for it.
Used Armada Towing via AAA - Saeb was very helpful throughout the whole process and I’m glad I went through them instead of the dealership 10/10
My tire was flat and Yahya came to assist me. He was amazing! He arrived within 10 minutes of my call, explained everything as he went through the process, and got me on my way. He was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely use Armada again!
Very horrible service, my vehicle was damaged upon arrival. Driver was rude and unprofessional!!! He also lied and wouldn’t provide me with a receipt for towing. Also took 3 hrs to make a 45 min drive! DONT USE THEM!!!
They said I would receive an inspection for damages and a cost estimate when my car was in the towing lot. Turns out thats not something they do at all, so Im gonna have to have my car towed to somewhere from their lot. DO NOT put your car in their lot- make them tow it directly to a shop! Otherwise you will have unnecessary towing fees.
Great place to get a tow quick and easy. Happy to know atx and armada towing have my back.
Car broke down and said over an hour before they got here. Called to follow-up, no one answered the phone. My advice, go with someone else.
$381 to tow a car a couple miles! The car had been in an accident, it was not a complex tow--the car was driveable enough to move out of traffic. If you think thats a fair price call these people. They will be happy to help you.
Broke down NYE! Good Riddance 2018! Hello 2019? Will you be better?Well you can imagine trying to find a tow truck or just any tire help on New Years Day was difficult & crazy expensive. Then Armada Towing swept in & gave me faith that 2019 is gonna be better. They had someone out to help me under 30 minutes of my frantic call & their pricing is even better then their superb customer service.
My car broke down on the side of the road in Austin and I needed to back to College Station, and I had no idea what to do. A towing truck was sent out by AAA, and Larry (the one who towed my car) was amazing. He told me exactly what was going to happen, and did an excellent job of making me feel comfortable in the middle of a very stressful situation. I rode back with him and the car and it was a pleasant experience. Thank you Larry!
Unbelievably bad service. I am a member with AAA and called in for a battery replacement service. AAA contracted my call out to Armada. I told AAA I the car was at my house and I was inside. I was given as ETA, which came and went. Called the number for Armada which had been provided by AAA, spoke with an incredibly rude person who said they had no record of the request, was transferred to another rude employee who also said there was no record of the request. I called AAA back, according to their records Armada did receive the request, said they had called me and left a message- but I did not have any voicemails. AAA told me the request had been closed by Armada- which is confusing since Armada employees had no record of my service request. Not sure which company to believe but regardless I requested a different company for assistance. Avoid using Armada if you want assistance!
Bad service ever I’m not recommend this company
These guys are always professional and helpful.
Called AAA for a dead battery and someone from ATX-VIP (part of Armada) came out to help. He was professional, kind, and very helpful.
Kind, friendly and well organized place of business.
BEWARE OF THIEVES AND PROPERTY DAMAGE!!!I was involved in a car crash on Friday afternoon (my first ever in 15+ years of driving) and the police officer that reported to the scene called this towing company unbeknownst to me, and before I could call a towing company of my choosing. The officer asked me if I needed a tow, and I said yes, but didnt think he would dispatch a tow, since he didnt tell me he was doing so. After some time of speaking with the officers further, their tow truck showed up.The man driving the truck was pleasant, answered some of my questions after giving me the rundown of how this process will work, and gave me an auto shop recommendation. LESSON 1: Dont let the police or their towing company dictate where you want your car towed.I waited over the weekend to get my car out of this tow companys lot. When I arrived today, the woman servicing the desk told me that I could have picked up my car on Saturday. HOWEVER, no one would know that because their website and the Google listing states they are CLOSED over the weekend. Fine. I waited for my personal tow truck to arrive to get the car out of there. When I asked if I could look at my vehicle while I waited for the truck, she said no one is allowed back there except for the tow truck when he gets your car, O....k.My tow truck arrived and my car was quickly loaded and ready to be taken out of there. I paid their HEFTY fees (some of which I could have avoided by getting my car on Saturday, but how was I supposed to know they are open on Saturday when their hours of operation on their website state otherwise).Once my car had arrived to where it was being towed, I noticed on the back of my car that my silver UT Longhorn emblem had been stolen and my car had been scratched in the process!!!It is dumbfounding that someone would steal a $20 emblem off of someone elses PROPERTY. I took all of my belongings out of my car before it was towed, but it never once crossed my mind to take belongings off of the OUTSIDE of my car before it was towed.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Armada was dispatched to me for AAA battery service. Id been told AAA workers try to pressure you into buying new batteries so I was expecting that. Instead I got a very friendly driver who was very present the entire time and explained all my options to me. He didnt insist I needed a new battery, in fact he didnt mention he carried then until I asked. He also checked my alternator at my request to ensure it was working. Nice employee and great service
Well, I used Armada as part of AAA, so there was no choice in the matter. Have used them 2x now, and both times they were on time and polite. Most importantly, the vehicle was towed safely. On the second account I found after leaving my vehicle unattended and unlocked, it had somehow locked itself with the keys inside. They had a second unit out immediately to pop the door--again very polite, and opened it in less than 30 seconds. I would recommend them to a friend.
If I could give them a zero I would. Worst experience I have ever encountered. I spoke with two representatives and they both treated me like dirt. I needed a battery change, a mechanic came and tested my car and said the battery was fine and changed the receptors on the battery. Charged me 70 dollars and said it was fixed and the battery was in good condition. I tried turning it on the next day and my car wouldnt turn on. So I called my insurance(AAA) for assistance. They sent someone else and the guy that came said that my battery was completely dead and that the mechanic the day before made a mistake. My 70 dollars went down the drain and they refuse to refund me. When I called for help they practically yelled at me.
A good service
Every time Ive called AAA for a jump or a battery check theyve sent Armada Towing. Every time the driver is very polite and helpful and fixes the problem. I always feel like theyre taking the time to do the job right and not rushing to get to the next call. And every time they leave I think they are awesome & I need to write a review for them. Today Im finally following through.
Locked my keys in the car, called AAA and armada came out. Super professional, kind and quick.
The driver from Armada came and picked up our Prius when we had a flat tire and towed it to the nearest Toyota dealer on behalf of AAA. He had it on the truck extremely quickly and carefully and dropped it off shortly thereafter. Great service and follow up!
A locksmith name Jay associated with AAA drove to my residence to copy a key to my 2014 Mustang. Not only did he create a new programmed key for me but he also helped me with a wiring problem with my factor and aftermarket alarm system. He was patient and thorough and explained everything he was doing not to mention staying the extra time to allow me to thoroughly check everything. I called him after he had left to come back and fix a small issue related to my key. He immediately came back and stayed past his working hours to help me with this issue. Best customer service I have received in a long time and there is honestly no one I trust more right now with my car than him.
My daughter was in an auto accident and this towing service picked up her car as she was taken to the hospital. Before she could get by there storage lot they released the car to the at fault insurance company. It was removed without the owners permission or even a phone call to the owner who was injured in the accident. Real first class operation!
Quick, competent and friendly drivers. No complaints.
I called my insurance company (AAA Insurance) about my car battery problem and they send a battery service man from this company (Armada) he used jumper cable for start my car than he checked batter than said your battery good just need change cable cooper connection and he charged $70 just for two battery connection part. I try to drive my car one day later but my car was doesn’t work and I contacted with my insurance company and they transferred a different company guy for road assistance, when he come he checked battery and looks my battery died, he changed battery than my car start to work without problem, he said your battery died and doesn’t need change battery connection, also change battery connections jus $20 not $70. When I call them for reimbursement they are saying we gave you service and we cannot reimbursement any money. They are really very bad battery service company.
I love these guys! Every time Ive had to call AAA (too many times) theyve come out. Fast, very friendly service even in the crappiest weather, late night, etc...
Towed my Dodge Charger and they handled with kid gloves. Very professional; kept me informed by text and telephone as to their progress when they were driving to my home; and secured my car very carefully. I would definitely use these guys again!
I gave Five Stars because Mohammed R. is a complete gentleman and scholar. This isnt the first time Ive had him assist me with a tire change and I was very glad to see him again. He is awesome. Thanks, guys.
Still here stranded after AAA send the first tow truck. they sent the wrong one. My car needs to be placed on a flatbed truck since the tire cant be mounted again. its been over an hour since the first dispatch and now Im waiting for this other truck with no sign of it showing up soon. called AAA again and they were going to have this towing company call me back for status on second truck. over 15 minutes and still nothing. oh and Im glad I saw the previous reviews as Ill make sure to avoid Galaxy Automotive for repairs...Update: Turns out after calling this towing company, they dont see a service call for my car... although the previous driver that showed up said the flatbed truck would be here in 30 minutes. Had to call AAA for the FOURTH time to have them open up a new service call for a flatbed truck this time. Over 2 hours stranded in the side of the road now
Worst towing company in existence! Made appointments and they no-showed. Ordered a battery for me then claimed they couldnt change it out because of its location (its located right next to the engine). Dont EVER use this company unless youre desperate, and even then, Id recommend pushing your car instead.
This company towed my vehicle incorrectly, causing damage to the rear suspension. They are refusing to pay for the damage they did to my vehicle!Edit: The general manager contacted me and reimbursed the damages done to my car. Changing my review to a 4-star
This A-clown shows up after calling me twice and having me explain im on my way down stairs. I get to my car after explaining to him its on the street as oppose to in the parking lot which he acted like he didnt understand. He wants me to stay downstairs while he change my battery out when I told him Id me more than willing to fill out whatever paperwork I needed to and pay but I have to go back to work. He get an attitude because I dont want to hold his hand while he does his job and refused to provide the service! really...grow a pair!
Do not trust them if they say you need a new battery. twice i called them thru AAA for battery jump on my almost new car they said i needed a new battery. they did a sort of test to make it look convincing so watch out. i complained to AAA, and am also surprised AAA retains them!
If this place could get a negative I would instantly give it a negative. The tow company caused damaged to my car and they have avoided me, failed to get in contact with me, or return my calls. They are completely giving me the run around. Worst customer service in the city, shady people. The company is anything but helpful or honest. Id rather be stranded on the side of the road than work with these people.AVOID THEM!!
Want to give a 0 - company takes advantage of victims of auto accidents - car was ransacked while on the Armada Towing lot on Middle Fiskville Road. Manager of lot said if police did not include an inventory of car items on report, you cant prove any items were actually stolen from the vehicle. Yet over $300 of items were missing and receipts from center console were thrown everywhere!
Avoid Armada like the plague.I was told they would pick my car up at 7:15am. The tow truck driver finally arrived at 9:20am.At 11:30 I get a call from my mechanic stating that they never received my car, 2 hours after the car was picked up. I called the driver, he was rude(hung up on me, twice) and told me he didnt remember where he took my car.Long story short, the driver couldnt find my mechanics shop, so he dropped the car off at another shop a few doors down, instead of calling either me, his manager or my mechanic to try and find the correct place. The driver, nor the company, even had the decency to call me and let me know that my car was finally found and dropped off at the correct location.
Stay away they won’t tow your car to where you request even if your using aaa this company is an absolute joke
If I could give them negative stars I would. I have registered several complaints with AAA encouraging them to cancel their contract with this company. AAA is the ONLY reason I continue to come into contact with this horrendous excuse for business. Their dispatch ignores instructions from AAA regarding necessary equipment to tow my car; their drivers want me to sign a waiver saying I wont sue them for any damage to my car, my property, etc.,. Their drivers also assume, I guess because Im a woman, that maybe I dont need the tow equipment stated or that maybe I dont need to be towed at all. The last time they came to tow my car (continuing electrical starter issues) the driver literally asked me if I had just locked my keys in the car and why I needed to tow the car at all. Best part of the story: when I went off on the driver, he called dispatch and they told him not to provide service because I was rude. Now Im sitting here still waiting for AAA to find another tow service.
So pleased with my service today!!
Worst experience with a tow company. Even AAA couldn’t get ahold of them. 5 hours later and I just decided to get my own tow.
Driver of truck 129 on December 15th, 2019. Driving in excess of 15mph over the limit in a residential neighborhood. Aggressive and rude driver. No turn signals before cutting other drivers off.
The worst service ever! I am shocked that AAA retains them. Our truck had a blow out on HWY 2222. The driver could not find HWY 2222. Even with GPS. Its not like 2222 is an obscure country road or residential area. Its a major road in Austin. How can a tow truck driver be unfamiliar with a major highway in the city in which he works everyday??? After over 2 hours and several calls back and forth to the driver and the dispatch, the dispatch person, Naomi said it was just too confusing and Id have to call AAA to reorder the service! We ended up going to get tools and changed the tires ourselves. This is not our first experience with Armada. The last time we needed a tow, AAA contacted them and it took nearly 2 hours for the driver to show up.AAA has always been great. This review has nothing to do with the service Ive received from AAA. Ive had AAA forever. I contacted them to complain and they were very shocked at our treatment, apologized and is having a supervisor call us back.
WORST EVER!!!I HOPE YOU NEVER NEED THEIR SERVICE. I Cant believe that there is a company doing bad business still like they are doin g this day.Extremely unprofessional employee with no care for its costumer.Big NONO for this guys!!!
Called AAA (ran out of fuel). AAA couldn’t get my location correct after talking to two reps. Called Armada directly, they routed my call to the driver, and he got to me with fuel ahead of schedule. Can’t ask for better service! Thanks, to Armada and their driver Kenneth!
Thank you Armada towing! This is the 2nd time I have used your service through AAA and I am even more pleased with the prompt, dependable service this time around.
Worst experience Ive ever encountered with a towning company. Disrespectful driver, refusing to load up my corvette that armada has towed at least 4-5 times with nothing but good service ive filled out surveys on. All my tows are recorded by AAA which i called the tow in with. Driver specifically told me AAA doesnt pay us enough for me to load up a car like this refused to tow my car and left me stranded with my car in the way of ammco transmission business driveway. Took 4 hours to get a car towed less than 10miles. Im a vehicle repair facility owner I deal with towing customers vehicles as well as my own weekly. I will never recomend amarda towing and will be sure everyone i knows, knows how bad they treat their customers. And to armadas supervisor, very unprofessional to refuse my phone calls.
This company is the worst tow company I dont even know how AAA does business with these jokers. There first tow guy arrived to my customer car and couldnt get her car in neutral and got key stuck in ignition, than left told her call another guy. The next guy came out didnt know how to operate the truck took an hour to hook it up. Got it to my shop and broke his truck there couldnt figure it out and had to call his other yahoos whom didnt know shot either. These guys shouldnt operate a tow company rather a circus instead.
Shouldnt have to call 3 times to get an ETA. Wouldnt recommend
Had great customer service.
I cant speak for the other reviews but my car wouldnt start, so I called triple A and they sent out Armada. Sam, the technician, was at my place in under 45 minutes and diagnosed the problem and got my car running in 15 minutes. Cant say enough good things about them and triple A. They saved my weekend.
Bad customer service, glad I dont have AAA - if so I might have got stuck using these clowns.
Terrible customer service. Do not use them Anybody else.
Amazing service
AVOID!
Great service
