Sold my brother new parts and proceeded to fix his broken fuel line, the repair lasted about 150 miles. He called him, he said he was on his way and never showed. He had it towed to Freightliner in Ft Worth. They told him the parts he used were old. He contacted Pronto and received no satisfaction. He’s out 1300 and change to Pronto + the tow bill.

This company uses heavy-duty trucks that are a major source of this pollution, which includes ozone, particulate matter, and other smog-forming emissions.I was driving behind their vehicle on the road, and all I could see was a huge black cloud of smog. Not only are their vehicles causing less visibility for drivers on the road, their vehicles are polluting the Earth and killing all living organisms.Thanks for making the world a worse place.

Called back several hours after. Being stranded in the middle of a highway is nerve racking enough, but for the tow company to call back hours after the fact wasnt cool.

Lala at pronto went the extra mile to help me find my vehicle, Because of the work Lala did I was able to find my vehicle at the location Moved to there office and nwed away. So if you have a question about a vehicle you cant find I suggest you start at pronto wrecker services :)

It was horrible memory to use Pronto towing.Actually I had a car accident and need to use pronto towing. (Since the police called towing company under the rotation and I did not have any other option also panicked by accident, I accepted it)After they towed my car, they acted irresponsibly. They never called back and did not recieve any call. I tried more than 10 times call and when they recieve it, they was extremely rude. They ignore my question and quit the call.Also, when I get my car back, they charged huge amount of money including some weird category. For example, they charged 50 bucks for notification, but I have no memory that I notified. I only recall that I tried so many call to reach out them.The fees are extremely expensive. Thus if you have any other option, please choose other shops. I feel like google should allow 0 star. I feel so sorry that I am giving 1 star due to the policy of google.

After requesting a tow and A Prontos rep conforming, they never showed up. After 2 hours I texted & called to check status and they wouldn’t respond.It was the middle of the night & my vehicle is larger than standard which is why I waited 2 hours to check up on driver. But, nonetheless, a call or text notifying me they werent coming would have been nice.I ended up calling someone else at about 3:00am and wish I had done so sooner.

Prontos wrecker service was very helpful when I was stuck on the side of the road with no help and two little ones! I even seen a Random tow truck pass me by and look my way. When I called around to check out prices I spoke with the owner Thomas Mora and he assured me someone would be here in 30 minutes, only It took no more than 20 minutes!! The tow truck driver Andrew was VERY helpful and understanding and definitely got the job done! The prices were great, definitely cheaper than expected. Great customer service, would 100% recommend!

Worst customer service, would not recommend them even if it was a last resort. Would have not used them, however Austin PD called them to get a truck and trailer towed. They were supposed to tow it to Donco Trucking but they towed it to their place. I called and asked why and they said their was no one to pay the bill. I asked why did they not call, and the answer they gave me was they did not have time. So now not only do I have a tow bill, I have to pay storage fees and pay another tow company tow it 1 block from their location.What a JOKE company is!!!!!!!

Man these guys are life savers! My charger.. my baby.. tire popped on me and didnt have a spare. I call around to a few places in need of some help everybody was rude and didn’t seem like they wanted my business until I called that prontos wrecker service. The lady I spoke to very polite helpful got someone out to me quick. Quicker than they said and cheaper than all these other rude people I called. The driver Marcus very respectful got the job done quick and smooth! Couldn’t believe it, if I could this would be a 10 star review!

Performed an illegal tow on our car in Austin. Will be proceeding with civil action against this company. Could not be more disappointed with an Austin business. Towed our car with my wheelchair inside of it. Companies who dont observe the law and force others to play the game just to maintain their livelihood cannot be allowed to exist by conscience consumers.

Man these guys are good, they came to help me with a tire that was flat. I recommend this place to anybody. The guys that work here are great, very professional.

If I had the opportunity I wouldnt even give them a 1 star the main guy is the rudest person with no care in the world that they towed my vehicle from my apartment complex without reason (confirmed with my appointments) The older lady in the office was a sweet heart!!

While on vacation these last few days I ran into a situation where my car needed towing. I happened to come across one of the best towing companies I have did business with in a long time. Pronto Wrecker service not only was very helpful but they worked out a great payment plan that fit my situation. i was very grateful for that. I would highly recommend you call them if your in the Austin area.

They did a great job of hauling my auto out of the Walmart parking lot. Walmart didnt post a note the day before towing it I rented a tow rig and when I got back to Walmart it was gone pronto towing wanted$425 to get my car back so I told them to keep it the engine was shot because the day before it was gone I checked the compression 50 psi the Walmart parking lot had hundreds of empty parking spots the closest auto mine was 50 yds away yeah Walmart had no legitimate reason to take my car I spent a lot of money in that store I guess I will have to lift a lot of merchandise to get even for them taking my car I used to be totally against shoplifting but they literally stole my car so they give me the right to $425 of whatever I would have bought:-)

I give this place a -0 this awful unprofessional place, Very rude, they lied too me from the time they took the car, when I did get my car the window was down and the doors where unlocked, and it rained so it was wet, u drive my car back home then went back to start it to head to the store my car did not turn on and u noticed it was leaking my car never leaked and has a brand new battery then my windshield wipers started by car there self, and my key won’t work now, these people are very awful they are on evil even when they know they are gonna get paid & to ruin my car like that I have too take them too court immediately! This place is a dump ! Supposed to be 24hr but no one is ever at that desk, they also didn’t let me get my belongings and by law they should have, I will have there company when I’m done with them !

Guy showed up on time and got my car out of a hard spot. He did a very good job and I would recommend them to a friend. The only reason Im not giving them a 5 is B/C the price wasnt clearly disclosed over the phone, I was thinking I was getting a deal, but paid average to a little bit higher then other quotes.

Run on there own schedule, have to give an hour notice but you will wait hours to recover a vehicle from them.

I had called to ask a question and I started with “my sisters car is there and I was wondering” when he interrupted and says “well I can’t give you any information so bye” all I was trying to ask was if there was a way I could pay with my card and he wasn’t helpful at all which is fine I just wanted to know if I could do it or not but he was extremely rude to me when I tried explaining I didn’t need any of her information or anything just if I could pay. I wouldn’t even give this person/company any stars but I wanted to leave this review for others to see and this is my first review I’ve ever made as well!

Everyone is rude and they are all dishonest people and deserve to go out of business. The worker named Mingo didnt let the gentleman before me get his heart pills from the trailer that they towed. To add insult to injury, his trailer wont run and he needs to tow it out, but they wont let him get in with his own truck to tow it out, so he has to pay hundreds of dollars to have them tow the trailer 20 ft off their property before he can hook it on his own truck. Theyre a bunch of money hungry snakes and karma will repay them big time.Also dont expect them to be 24 hr as advertised. I called 3 times at 2 am, then 3 more times at 8 am and I finally got a call back at 11am. The owner, Thomas Mora, was the one that finally called back and he was extremely rude and matter of fact when dealing with us.Their facilities are run down and they have 3 or 4 different numbers posted everywhere apparently all leading to the same phone. Extremely disorganized and a joke of a business. Avoid if you can.If they tow you, you dont have much choice to deal with them, but best of luck to you.

We had truck mechanical problem and had to park a rental trailer in the Wal-Mart parking lot. It was at night using the trailer lights. It got towed by this company. When we left this rental trailer it was in perfect working order because we are paying to rent it and it wasnt damaged. We had 2 witness who worked with us who saw the trailer in its origin all working condition. We had to pick it up before midnight for $309.53 and when we went to pick it up at 1030pm the cotter pin on the bulldog hitch had been ripped off, chain and all. The trailer lock was still intact but twisted like theyd tried to remove it but couldnt. The wiring harness had been ripped, torn and the pigtail cut off making the trailer lights inoperable. The metal on the frame was twisted and the front left tire was flat. When I told the driver there was damage on the trailer and we couldnt drive it home in the dark he told me to shut up and just get this trailer out of here in front of my 70 year old dad. On top of everything, they obviously dropped the trailer off the wrecker and bent the leg of the stand you use to jack it up and didnt even bother to park it with a stand. Im a disabled veteran and my dad is 70 years old and hes acting like were supposed to pick up a fully loaded trailer with our hands to connect it to my truck. Then, when Im walking in the street to move my truck he drives extremely close to me without any regard for my disability. When I called today to complain to a manager or owner, someone named Thomas is rude and tells me hurry up I have other calls to take an d hung up on me. Total disregard for damages done and said theyre not responsible even though we have eye witnesses that can verify the condition of the rental trailer when it was parked. When I called back I got voicemail and left a message stating I just wanted them to replace the wiring harness and pigtail for $20 even though they damaged the frame, flattened a tire and ripped off the cotter pin. I also told them I would sue them for damages so they call me back to argue the trailer was already damaged and that I deserved to be told to shut up because I started it. So someone paying $300+ to recover a rental trailer doesnt have a right to complain or tell their company they caused damages to someone elses property? I didnt curse or use foul language or yell. They are rude, unprofessional, negligent and liars. I was not a customer because I chose to use them but unfortunately because I parked in a wrong spot due to a vehicle emergency. Do NOT choose this company because their business practices are horrible, their customer service is horrendous and you wont be reimbursed for any damages during transit. Being parked in the wrong spot doesnt entitle ANY COMPANY to damage your property or be verbally abusive. If this is how you treat disabled veterans and senior citizens you deserve to go out of business. Unfortunately, evil businesses like yours continue to thrive. Good luck with that because karma still has a way of coming back to you.

Long ago, my grandmother made me promise her to never drink alcohol. She told me of all the friends she had lost, whether it be to accidents or liver cancer. As a young child I heeded her warnings, understanding that she was right. Growing up I never drank, not a single drop. A few years ago I was diagnosed with a rare liver disease known as Wilsons. My doctor gave me the same advice as my grandmother and I took it to heart. Once I got to college and everyone around me began to consume alcohol at parties I resisted the temptation. I remained strong, thinking of my late grandmothers wise words. To this day her advice resonated with me and kept me safe. However, after dealing with their employees, I realized I should have drank and enjoyed myself all these years because Pronto gave me cancer anyways.

When I first called them, they seemed friendly and prompt. I asked the man on the phone if they could pull half of the payment from two different cards. He said that was fine and sent me a driver to tow my car.The driver found me very quickly, and also he was very good at moving the car. However, he said that the guy I talked on the phone was wrong about being able to pull two different payments because the card reader charges $3 each time.I suggested to him that we could get cash from the cards and just pay him with cash that day. He convinced my girlfriend, who was the one paying, that she should just transfer the money, despite the fact that it was a Sunday, which means that the money was not going to have finished transferring.The next day, he leaves a voicemail on my girlfriends phone saying that the card didnt go through and that he better get the money or he was going to take my car away. I called the office and a lady answered. I explained what had happened and she insisted that they indeed do not take two half payments and that she has no idea why I would be told it was ok. She assured me they could just pull the money the next morning, being Tuesday.Tuesday morning, my girlfriend checked her account and the money was indeed there, but it should have been drawn. It wasnt drawn. She kept getting calls from the driver threatening to take the car. My girlfriend called back and they had to get her card information all over again.Today, the driver called and threatened some more saying that her card was bunk, which we know is false. We both called their office to try to straighten things, but the man on the other end talked as if his mouth was full of marshmallows. He was yelling at us inaudibly, which is very frustrating to say the least.My girlfriend was finally able to get a hold of the lady from before. They finally processed her payment successfully. This time, the lady was very curt with her, and in fact hung up on her.If you want to call these guys, they will indeed tow your car successfully. However, dont expect to be able to understand them on the phone. You can expect them to be rude to you, not process your payment properly, and threaten you.

One of their employees who towed our vehicle threatened my significant other as he was leaving the lot after retrieving said vehicle. Management has not done anything to correct this situation. We will be reporting them to the proper authorities.

My Tractor was towed of of a loop from Highway the police recommend and called them they did not allow my son to pay right away he towed it to keep in storage on purpose so my son is not from Austin he was left like a dog in the streets we had to drive 8 hrs to go pick up tractor

I was in a wreck, (Saturday) and APD had my car towed by pronto towing, and i was not given the option to use my own towing service. My mother-in-law called the next day (Sunday) to let them know shes coming to get my car, and was told that he wasnt available until Monday! When it clearly says on their sign they are open 24 hrs a day to release your vehicle.Monday comes and my mother-in-law went up there to get my car. They couldnt release it to her since she is not the owner of the vehicle and was told they had put my car inside the work shop to be worked on, and started to take apart my car without my consent or notification! They then decided to move my vehicle AGAIN with out my permission into a storage because i did not want to pay the workshop fee even though they had no business touching my car in the first place! These people are extremely rude and has no type of customer service. They dont care about you nor your vehicle. Only your MONEY.So I go up there later that day to get my car and ready to pay but i had to give an hour notice. I waited almost 2 hours at the facility and finally a lady came from across the street asking if i had a report? I told her no. That i was in a car accident, and it was towed here, and i have a towing company coming out to pick it up. She then asked me is the car drivable! (If it was drivable it wouldnt of been in there in the first place!) I said no and then she said well its gonna cost ANOTHER towing fee to bring it out side their gate!! So me already annoyed and just want to go home ask how much is the towing fee to bring it right out side the gate? She doesnt know how much but yet telling me i got to pay more fees and she has to make a call to find out! Then she asks who is going to pick it up after its outside the gate? I told her i had another tow truck coming now and she tells me oh you have to use one of our towing services! She then makes the call and tells me he said he cant do it anyway tonight because its Too much of a hassle to bring it outside the gate, and if i wanted it out tonight they will tow it to the place i need it to go to. If not i would have to come back tomorrow!!!They make up rules to keep your car to try to rack up more fees!! They are straight trying to rob people!!!!The lady said they cant leave cars out side the gate anyway because its a Liability even though they got dozens of cars outside their gate!I leave come back the next day (Tuesday Now!) and finally got my car the hell out of there. These people have no kind of heart taking advantage of people and their vehicles.APD needs to remove them from the highway department list!!!Shame on APD for letting this man Thomas (owner) get away with this!APD says they have a list that they rotate towing companys when car accidents happen, but i dont know if they are aware of this man owning two companys all in the same building with two different names. Pronto towing and Alberts towing.Beware of these two towing companys!!Highway department should look into these two companys! And really should of been aware of it with all the bad ratings and reviews!

Paid over $1000.00 to tow a bus 15 minutes away. Thats 2-3x the price of what is should have been. Once on site he told us that we could not pay over the phone or over the internet and threatened that if we did not have a card onsite or cash in hand in 10 min. he would impound our vehicle.

Awful place. Not impressed about any of the comments about the owner (Tomas Mora), he did it once to me and from what I can see from the reviews to a lot of people too. Make sure to have whatever quote and arrangement in writing. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone sue them soon.

Trying to get a car out and they won’t even answer what you need to do that. Horrible service. Extremely rude and unhelpful and he claimed to be the owner. Get a cop to go with you or a lawyer or a witness to record the interaction because they will rip you off and you’ll need that for the lawsuit you should put against them because this business deserves it.

Dont go with them. Its $150 for tow service plus $3 a mile plus 5% service charge if you pay by card. Service is not worth it no matter how desperate you are.
