After having visited a few times, I wanted to now share my experience at this dental office. Dr. Trivedi and all the staff are amazing - very friendly and welcoming every time I visited. I was very nervous during my first appointment due to previous experiences in other offices. Nevertheless, Honest Family Dental made me feel comfortable, I didnt feel judged, and got straightforward advice on how to improve my dental hygiene. Within a couple of months, I feel very confident in my smile again thanks to them. I also thought their pricing was fair - when visiting other offices in the past, Id often end up getting surprise fees or procedures that felt pushed on me. While I did get a ton of information during my first visit, not once did I feel pressured into any procedure nor did I think it wouldnt benefit me. Overall, I am very happy with Dr. Trivedi and the entire staff!

My experience with Dr. Trivedi and his amazing staff was by far one of the best dental visits Ive ever had! After years of feeling dental anxiety and avoiding going altogether due to a lot of really bad experiences, I was so grateful to find Honest Family Dental. The dentist does seem knowledgeable and skilled. However, hes also a skilled car-salesman and talks fast, pushing every possible procedure on you to get the most money out of you. He said I needed a root canal. I saw the x-rays and had a root canal before; the damage hadnt reached the root like my previous one, so I was skeptical. They were going to charge me 5k just for that. I got a second opinion; I just needed a filling. A year later, Im still doing fine. If you have cash to blow and dont mind being corralled into procedures, sure, this is a great place for you. If you dont, look elsewhere.Edit: Marriage and name changes are a thing. Went here specifically thinking yall would be honest because its in the name, lol. My mistake.

Painless fillings!!Dr. Trivedi is a caring dentist and if you love puppies like I do, little Winnie greeting you in the front will make your appointment! The staff is friendlyand Mel took great care of me. I absolutely appreciated a fun conversation before the serious treatment. I needed fillings and expected the numbing to hurt, but that was not the case. I could barely feel the injection, and for some teeth the doctor used a laser to numb my teeth. Dr. Trivedi also used the laser to treat my cavities instead of drilling! It was a much smoother experience than the conventional drilling. I feel that they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I had dry lips and I was so thankful that they applied some lip balm before starting with the treatment. Thank you guys!! :)

Great place and great people. Everyone is super friendly and understanding especially when it comes to people who havent seen a dentist in long time. From start to finish they will explain everything and take you step by step through each treatment and will help you with any questions you have. The dentist himself is also friendly and even helps you understand the proper way to help your teeth. While some treatments can be pricey if you have dental insurance it helps but even if you dont they have options for you as well. They are also great with scheduling and rescheduling and try to work with your schedule. I would recomend this place to anyone beginners and veterans alike.

My treatments have held up the test of time, and when I needed a touch up to a filling, they slipped me in the schedule and knocked it out as a courtesy in a manner of minutes. I legit do not write reviews unless a place is incredibly terrible. However, I have to talk about how amazing this place is! I do not do well at the dentist... at all! Ive had terrible experiences and just OK experiences but I can say this is my first exceptional experience. In the past, I feel I was getting unnecessary dental work done. Here, they explained what the dental plan was and why they were doing it. Ive been drilled on when the Novocain was wearing off the the dentist said stop moving unless you want a crooked smile - so that was fun. In all honesty.. Honest Family Dental is a place Im referring co-workers (but not too many, I dont want them to run out of availability HA) Great team all around!

Dr. Trivedi does an amazing job. He really seems to care and go the extra mile for his patients- he convinced me to fix my cracked sealants, which were starting to give me cavities (and he showed me pics to prove it)- the dentist I was going to before never seemed to care much about them, and I think that they would have eventually caused a bigger and bigger problem. Its hard to know but maybe my former dentist was waiting for the problem to become bigger and more expensive before fixing it?Anyway really glad to be going here now! And the work he does is really good quality. Ask him for some pictures if you want proof!

I neglected my teeth for so long and Honest Family Dental worked with me and my insurance to get me on a plan to help get my gums healthy again. We have been able to spread out my treatments over several months so that it fit my budget. They were not going to just send me on my way with a regular cleaning when they knew I needed so much more. The staff is all very pleasant and friendly. My whole family sees Dr. Trivedi and we’re all very happy. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Trivedi is very informative and takes time to show you what is going on. He actually SHOWS you what he sees rather than just telling you. Seeing a cavity or plaque or a fracture in living color on a screen is much more believable than just having a dentist say, You have a cavity. I loved all the technology he uses. The rest of the staff is very friendly and professional and it is obvious they all love their jobs. It makes going to the dentist much more pleasant when you know everyone will be happy when you arrive. The hygienist, Renita, performed the best cleaning I have ever had and I will definitely always request her every single time. I can not say enough good about this office - from beginning to end of the visit it is a great experience!

This is about as close to a perfect dental experience you’re going to get in the Northern Hemisphere! 😄 Dr. Trivedi is absolutely brilliant and his applied knowledge of physics and clearly communicated vision of holistic health made such a lasting impression on me - in one visit! Really great dentist! They make you feel very welcomed and super comfortable. I love how they actually explain clearly the treatment you need and show you with pictures. My appointments have also all been really quick. I never have to wait forever to be seen by the dentist, which has always been a problem with dentist I have seen in the past.

I waited over 50 minutes for a new patient consult and never saw the doctor. I was told an emergency had delayed him and he was running 20 minutes behind...not 50. While I can understand that emergencies happen, the office should have called and rescheduled, or presented me with an accurate estimate when I checked in so that I could determine whether a reschedule was necessary. Irony of ironies...they make you sign a form that states you owe them $50 for a missed appointment. Im betting they dont provide the same courtesy to patients.

I have just had my 3rd appointment with him, and even though his office is 6 miles from where I live and work, I would definitely go out of my way to be his patient.The first visit, he was very thorough with describing why I had the tooth problems I did (dont drink too much sparkling water yall...). The second visit, he filled my cavities in and even took out chunks of metal filling that was stuck in my gum that my previous two dentists have not been able to remove, and it was painless!My third visit, he drilled in the importance of flossing and gave me a lecture I needed to hear lol :(. He definitely cares about his patients!His staff is great too! The front desk ladies are very easy to reach, and they are on top of reminding you about upcoming appointments. The nurse assistants are very friendly too!Also Mushroom, their dog, is pretty chill too.Great practice with great care!

I visited Honest Family Dental for the first time in January 2016. Dr. Trivedi is one of the best dentist I have ever had.What makes him one of the best? (1) He takes the time to tell you what is going on with your teeth. He doesnt rush off to the next patient until all your concerns are met. This place truly lives up to their name, and the hype! Not only is Dr. Trevedi personable, kind, and extremely gentle in his procedures... he was also the most straightforward (dare I say honest?) dentist Ive ever met. He told me all about how various things I was doing (like drinking La Croix, or not rinsing my mouth with water after having coffee) were what was really contributing to sub-optimal dental health. He was clearly passionate about what he does, and about not only fixing dental problems, but educating on how to avoid them in the first place! He went in depth about natural health and supplements too, which was really refreshing.All that, and I havent even mentioned the sweet, attentive, and humorous front desk ladies who were very on top of things and kind in spite of how clearly busy they were!And to top it all off? The sweetest little fluff of a mascot, a mini-poodle named Mushroom! One of the front desk ladies keeps him tucked away on her lap where he just napped the entire time. (Ask them for pictures of him in his dentist costume).Over all great people, great prices, and a wonderful experience.

They were nice, very informative, quick and understanding of what I needed done. I had to setup multiple appointments with them, and Jennifer who was my dental assistant nurse everytime I went in and she was very helpful and sweet, caring just all around great. But the whole experience in the office was amazing and would advise others to go there and I will for sure be going back.

This is the best dentist experience I have had. Everyone is extremely professional, and Dr Trivedi does a great job in showing you potential issues with film, and showing you particular options and what expenses your insurance will cover. Ive had negative experiences regarding what I was told insurance would cover in the past (only later to be sent a large bill), and this is refreshing to finally find someone honest. Dr. Trivedi is the best! He made sure I could not feel any pain at all during my root canal. 24 hours later, I am able to eat comfortably and feel almost completely normal (aside from mild soreness, as I have a history of TMJ). The staff is lovely, especially the sweet little office dog, Mushroom!

A filling, a crown replaced and a deep root cleaning for stage 3 gengivitis. 3 hours worth of work to as done expertly, with no pain, and in total relaxation. I was having sensitivity/pain in my back tooth and was told I may need a root canal by another dentist. I decided to get a second opinion and a friend referred me to Dr. Trivedi. He is amazing!! He used intra oral cameras to show me why I didn’t need a root canal and gave me easy tips on how to prevent future problems. It was such a great experience and I will be going to him from now.

I needed to switch dental offices since my regular practice was bought out and I wasn’t happy with their work. I’m so glad I chose Honest Family Dental! The office is gorgeous — very modern and comfortably furnished and the staff are the epitome of professional. I’d lapsed over a year since my last cleaning but my hygienist was very thoughtful in explaining my problem areas and provided a quick, thorough, and gentle cleaning.The use of technology in the office is also top-notch and unlike anything I’ve experienced in dental exams. They were able to show me images of my teeth so I could see for myself the areas that need to be addressed (5 leaky fillings from my prior dentist) with a full explanation of necessary treatment. I’ve been shown my own xrays before, but I had no idea what they were even showing me! Usually there’s a lot of mystery around what’s going on so it’s really great to have that in front of me in images that I can actually understand.Down to brass tacks — I had 5 broken fillings that needed to be replaced. I had no idea that shoddy work from prior dentists meant that fillings wouldn’t last past 5 years. Doctor Trivedi explained the issues with my existing fillings as well as his process and materials for fillings that are rated to last up to 20 years. It’s a relief to know that the work he was proposing was meant to last.The staff organized a treatment plan for me over two visits knowing that tackling all 5 would be too much for one sitting. I really appreciated that level of care and pacing. I’ve had 3 fillings replaced so far. Dr. Trivedi was quick, efficient, and gentle in his work. When he administered Novocain, it was fast and painless — just a little pressure and it was over! Super easy, especially for someone who is nervous about needles. He works seamlessly with his phenomenal assistant to ensure that the process is fast and efficient while delivering top notch work.The fillings themselves are completely invisible — they look just like my teeth and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. Overall my experience at Honest Family Dental has surpassed that of any office I’ve visited before. The office, staff, and work are exceptional and I’m happy to be a patient for life!

I had my first appointment here yesterday. I had a dental emergency and they squeezed me in, while still accommodating my schedule, and gave me all of the information I needed in order to heal my current issues. I am returning in two weeks to do the full exam and will be doing all of my dental work with this office. Dr. Trivedi is super friendly and the staff is understanding that sometimes at the dentist youre in severe pain. I have never enjoyed a dental experience...but i think i did yesterday. If you are trying to choose a dentist, you just found the right place.

Its been a couple years since i last saw a dentist, and like any irrational person I was terrified.The staff here are great, very welcoming and made me feel at home.I went away after my checkup needing 2 appointments for dental work and I felt relaxed and happy enough to book them on 2 consecutive days.I had my first today, and i can honestly say I am looking forward to going back tomorrow. I got to catch up on my new favorite Netflix show with noise cancelling headphones, and got to kick back and relax while Dr Trivedi did his work.I didnt even have to keep my own mouth open as he used a mouth prop which means my jaw isnt aching to high heaven.You can even request a weighted blanket, essential oil therapy and some other cool stuff to make you feel even more relaxed, but after my first check up all i felt i needed was some good ol netflix.Thanks again guys, best Dental experience Ive had in 32 years.

They informed me exactly what work needed to be done, what my insurance would cover, and what I would have to pay out of pocket, before having me schedule my next appointments. I just have to start with WOW! Dr. Trivedi was sooo informative, nice, and caring. He provided me so much information. I am visiting Austin from NYC as a third opinion for removing my metal fillings, which I had 8 of. I had gone to the best in NYC and none had provided insight into the impact my metal fillings were having on my natural teeth. The equipment that he used provided such a close up picture that I had not seen before with any other dentist which made me want to take care of my fillings right here on my vacation. During the procedure he provided before, during, and after photos while explaining what was happening at each step. He removed and replaced my metal fillings which ceramic resin materials and my teeth look so much better and FEEL better. I already have my wife and friends planning on traveling to Austin from NY to get similar work done. I highly recommend him, his staff were so wonderful!

Honest Family Dental offers all the bells and whistles for even the most minimum of procedures (think TVs & headphones at every chair), and Dr. Trivedi himself proves to be a very smart man with a passion to keep people healthy, answering every question honestly and explaining each procedure as we went along. Not only will I be returning for each of my dental qualms, but I will be recommending Dr. T and Honest Family Dental to everyone I know!

Ive never written a review for anything before, but my first experience with this dentist was phenomenal so I have to! Dr. Trivedi encourages questions, wants to educate his patients, and the staff was extremely genuine! Some dentists can be pretty negative about your current care routine or talk down to you when recommending treatment, but Dr. Trivedi is very positive and wants to ensure the best experience at his office. This visit was very educational! I usually have anxiety when attending dental exams, but I will definitely be more at ease on my next visit. I have already recommended this practice to friends and family.

Ameet and his team are WORLD class. Ameet is really friendly and actually teaches you how to avoid cavities and plaque through diet, which is revolutionary in the dental world as normally theyre more than happy to fix your teeth and keep you coming back in over and over without helping you get better dental health in the meantime. The quality of Ameets work is fantastic and most definitely worth the price. You wont regret coming in!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Trivedis for almost a year now and Ive come in several times for biannual cleanings, cavity fillings, and bite-guard fittings. I can honestly say that he is the best dentist I have ever had, and I dont say that lightly.A few years back a dentist in Chicago found an anomaly on one of my x-rays that looked like an infection/abscess. Though I wasnt showing any signs of infection (cold intolerance test, etc) and this was supposedly a biological dentist, she referred me to an endodontist for a root canal (!!!) The next year I moved to Austin and had so many disempowering experiences with dentists surrounding my issue that I stopped seeking help for it. After all I was asymptomatic, why would I get a tooth extraction?! I would just go in for routine cleanings when I could afford it (uninsured). When I did get dental insurance through my job, I was referred to Dr. Trivedi. He took new x-rays, saw the anomaly, explained to me what was really going on causing the gum recession--not an infection or fractured root at all. In fact the solution was much less invasive and MUCH cheaper.Dr. Trivedi uses German ceramic (read: swank) material for fillings, low-radiation x-ray equipment (lower than industry standards for low), digital photography so you can see before and afters of *every* angle for each area he works on, and Netflix should you choose to watch during procedures. It should also be said that he has one of the most skilled hands at procedures that Ive encountered: I had 6 teeth pulled when I was a kid so Ive had plenty of novocaine shots and I can say that I have never had a painless shot in the mouth until I came to his office. Basically, he goes above and beyond the pale for business expense of highest quality equipment and still makes going to the dentist as accessible and affordable as possible. You can be sure youre going to get top-of-the-line friendliness, caring, skill, and expertise with state-of-the-art technology and equipment.Lastly but not least, his staff rocks. I can tell they really love working there because it is a small practice, really feels community-oriented when youre in there, and I get the feeling Dr. Trivedi really takes care of his people. I have found my dentist home. Dr. Trivedi is not only incredibly knowledgeable, he is also very funny and enjoyable to be around, which in turn makes for a really pleasant dentist visit. And his prices are really reasonable. For years, I had put off changing out a filling that needed replacement because a quote from another dentist was astronomical (even with insurance). The patient portion of my bill from Dr. Trivedi was a third of what the other dentist was going to charge. Did I mention that his staff is warm, welcoming, and accommodating? If you see him (and I highly recommend him), ask him what his middle name means :-)

Whenever I have gone to the dentist in the past it seems like they tell you a bunch of generic information, pressure you with unnecessary dental work and try to pull money from your wallet. That was NOT case here. Dr Trivedi was awesome. He took the time to explain things thoroughly and took further steps to help me understand my personal diet+lifestyle and how they effect my teeth. I learned a lot of surprise information from him. His staff was very kind and had a great sense of humor + professionalism. I will definitely return and recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist.

After 5 years of avoiding the dentist, I finally decided to go. Dr. Trivedi and his staff are super friendly, and very professional. Dr. Trivedi ran me through the state of my teeth (w/ pics) and I was relieved to know it wasnt as bad as Id worried. I got a cleaning for the stain build up over the years, and needed a couple fillings which I got a few days later. They basically just seem interested in keeping peoples teeth healthy without doing anything unnecessary, a sentiment I greatly appreciated. I decided to go because of the Google reviews, so I figured Id write one too.

The doctor was extremely knowledgable, attentive, welcoming, and willing to give additional time and treatment to me in my first visit when others would have asked me to come back for a cleaning. This was the best dental experience I can recall - no joke - and the best cleaning Ive received. Ill be recommending him to friends and family in the future.

Wouldnt recommend him if you are getting a crown or any other complicated procedure. My painless tooth got sensitive after the treatment.One of the ways clinic manages to get 5 stars is by offering free toothbrush after you review them.

Dr. Trivedi is a miracle worker, I no longer fear shots and my mouth is in the best shape its been in ever. The office staff is great, very professional and clear about insurance and what to expect, I never leave confused about my policy. So glad I have found an office that I can stick with and feel confident going to.

This was hands down the best experience Ive had at a dentists office-- The whole staff was friendly, helpful & kind, and you can feel that they genuinely enjoy working there and working with patients. Dr. Trivedi was simply excellent and I cant say enough awesome things about him-- he gave me valuable education and took lots of extra time with me. Dr. Trivedi and his staff create a warm and comfortable atmosphere right away, but thats only the beginning. I felt Dr. Trivedi provided thorough explanations for everything he reviewed with me about my teeth and dental health. The technology in the office is fantastic and allows him and his staff to share x rays and photos quickly and easily to help with the explanations and plan for treatment. The sealants and cleaning and I got were great and the before and after pictures are awesome. I! have found my dentist here in Austin

Dr. Trivedi was really all you can hope for in a dentist. Funny, kind, and patient. Margs was also a delight, she made me feel super comfortable in the hot seat! Even the receptionist was perfect. An all around solid team. Its nice to go to a doctors office and feel at ease like this.

Dr. Trivedi is the man. He is very friendly and funny, as well as informative and thorough in his explanations. The rest of the team at Honest Family dental is great as well. Im glad to have finally found a dentist in Austin that I can count on.

When someone declares without provocation that they are honest thats often a reason to be suspicious. Dr. Trivedi is extremely aggressive with his diagnoses. His initial treatment plan for me required 3 separate sessions that would cost 4 figures out of pocket after my insurances portion. I was baffled that I had had such a dramatic drop in dental health this year--so I re-read his online reviews and discovered, between the many glowing but non-specific 5 star reviews there were several reviews from people who had had unexpected diagnoses like mine. I took their advice and saw another dentist. I needed some work as it turned out but only about a tenth of what Dr. Trivedi wanted to do.

He was able to provide some insight into various dental issues I have been struggling with. I left the dental office feeling more confident in my dental health than I have in a long time. Was very straightforward with what the issues were, how they can be addressed, and how they likely happened.Planning on sticking with this dentist for as long as possible.
