Went in to test drive a Forester and they only had 1 to test drive and it was out being driven. Had to schedule an appointment for next week. Not the employees fault. I will be back, great service for what they had to offer.

Brought my Subaru Forester in for a recall and additional maintenance if necessary. The staff is friendly and professional. The waiting area is kept clean and comfortable. They provide free drinks and snacks while you wait for your vehicle. Also, they dont try to sell you service you dont need. That is a huge plus when interacting with a dealership service department. I will continue to use them for non-basic service on my Subaru.

This is a shout out compliment to my new service advisor, Will Heller, at Austin Subaru. Wills commitment to excellent customer service reflects the intelligence, skills and patience he employs to translate the diagnostic and repair information into language I was able to understand. He was very polite, addressed all of my questions and gave me an estimate regarding how long it would take the technicians to repair my Subaru. I was so pleasantly surprised when my Subaru repair was ready more than an hour earlier than Wills estimate! Will is an excellent service advisor!

Made a appointment. Salesman never showed. Reception desk was less than friendly. Uber busy. So busy they didnt seem to care. Ive never been to a dealership where they kept a buying customer waiting.

The service dept at Austin Subaru is phenomenal. I have had nothing but excellent customer service here. The staff is incredibly friendly, the lounge area is huge and perfect for work, kids, private calls, or just watching TV while your vehicle is being worked on. The snack and drink counter is better than hotels I have been at and everything is complimentary.

I have always been treated well by all of the Service Advisors here, but I feel Susan Moulton has gone above and beyond to make sure my Outback was taken care of with some unexpected repairs just in time for a road trip. Susan is great!I used to never be the type to take my car in to the Dealership for service, but Subaru makes it worth it! The peace of mind from the complimentary inspection, free coffee bar, and the free Lyft rides are all huge pluses!

Came in to have a couple items checked out to see what was wrong with them. They “found” an item that has been diagnosed for the previous 3 years and tried to convince me it needed fixing. I have had other mechanics look at this item and they have recommended to not fix.When I do purchase another car it will not be a Subaru.

I bought a battery a few years ago at Austin Subaru. When the battery died in another state while sill under warranty, I called Austin Subaru. They took the time to send my records to the dealership in Branford, CT so I could get replacement battery. Zero hastle on the Austin side. The dealership in CT could take a lesson from how its done in Austin.

Similar to other reviews, I scheduled a 6k maintenance appointment and it took 3.0 hours to complete. What made this experience terrible was I asked my service tech if they had checked the fluids since I had run out of windshield cleaning fluid. He said they had without hesitation, that he had personally checked, but that was all B.S. I drove off the lot, but realized the check engine light and windshield warning lights were on. I took it back (by this time Im very frustrated as I had another appt to get to), and told him about the B.S. he fed me and asked him to fix correctly. So they came out and did the old water and antifreeze trick for my wiper fluid, and reset the check engine light. When I pointed out the 3 hour wait, and the fact that he lied to me, it didnt seem to concern him at all. This is by far one of the worst service experiences Ive had. The leadership at Austin Subaru needs to do something about this if they want a decent review.

I went to service my Subaru BRZ for the 6mo. maintenance and Joseph Martinez was my adviser. It was a very smooth process and my car was ready in less than an hour. Mr. Martinez took some time to explain what the maintenance consists of. I enjoyed the complimentary coffee bar.

Made a 2:30 appointment for Feb 10. I arrived at 2:20, a little early, and told the gentleman checking me in that I had a 2:30 appointment for my 6000 mile service. He responded that it would be at least 2 hours before my car could be worked on... When I told him again that I had a 2:30 appointment he told me, It doesnt matter - it will still be at least 2 hours before your car can be worked on. I told him to cancel the appointment and left. Later I called and asked for the GM of the location and was transferred to his voicemail - he never called back.I returned for service on Feb 13 and was asked if I had an appointment. I told the gentleman that I did not because I had done so before and was told it didnt matter. Got no response to this, just a good rolling of the eyes.The service was actually done before they closed and I was able to pick up my car after a few hours.Part of the service was to rotate the tires. I had marked one so I could be sure they were rotated. When my service adviser took me to my car I pointed out that the tire was in the same place and that they had not been rotated. He told me that the tread wear on that tire must have been less than on the others so it didnt need to be rotated, so the techs probably cross rotated two of the other tires instead. I told him that part of the service I paid for was for rotating the tires and that I did not believe it was done at all. I looked at the rims and lug nuts, which were still dirty from the recent rains, and there was no sign at all that they has been removed.The service adviser stuck to his story but kindly offered to take the car back in to have the tires properly rotated.When I checked the invoice it showed that the tread depth on ALL four tires was 9/32. Obviously there was no difference in tread wear and the tires were not rotated.

Austin Subaru was able to immediately identify and fix my Subaru Forester XTs recurring stalling and transmission leak - these were issues that I dealt with for months using another dealer who was unable to fix them (and caused further transmission issues). Austin Subaru offers high-quality vehicle service and has knowledgeable and professional technicians/associates. I highly recommend them for your vehicle service needs.

Not happy with the experience here.I booked an 8AM service appointment and I arrived early. The waiting room was already packed and they did not finish my oil change and tire rotation until 9:25AM. Why have appointment times if you cannot keep them?They included an oil additive without permission, something I have never seen a dealership or any other shop do. The additive is not synthetic.....which they added to a synthetic oil change.They disconnected my battery during the oil change/inspection which reset my window switches and clock. There is no need to disconnect the battery and no other dealer has ever done so for any of my vehicles.The coolant and wiper fluid reservoir caps were left open.They did not provide my inspection report until I asked them for it afterwards. They have also not responded to my request to understand why they added an engine oil additive.Price out the door was $138 which is also the most I have ever paid at a Subaru dealer.These are mostly minor issues, but added up they certainly point towards a poorly run operation, and one I will not work with again.

Scheduled service for part to be replaced, when I arrived the parts were not there and no one knew who took and set up my appointment. Id hope in the future the person taking/making your appointment would be identified somewhere in the paperwork to say they took the phone call. Frustrating to say the least, especially when the rep asks you who you spoke to. I was surprised, normally Austin Subaru is on top of their game, not yesterday.

John,was amazing we took our Forrester in for a recall,dreading going to another dealership service dept, I was treated like family,they even did little extra I asked for at the end,I have been so blown away since we got our Forrester from Austin Subaru from Jason to Jeramy,we met Misty Martin and Sunny while looking at the show room suvsthey were like we had know them for years I recommend Austin Subaru to anyone looking to buy new used or certified do not go anywhere else especially Nissan

I am Not so Positive about the Service Department at this Dealer. I have had a couple of incidents that have been less that stellar. I recently had a part replaced under warrenty and [rack and pinion] and the Fluid is meant to be Flushed and Replaced. However you can see from the photo here that the fluid [which should be Red in Color] is still kinda darkish and at a minimum fill. When confronted, I get a the run around with the service techs and lip service. They would not just say to bring it in and we can Flush it and Refill it for you. On a differnet occasion they did not button up the bottom skirt under the front bumper and left a good bit undone. Always check your car after they work on it. It seems they are happy to charge you for minimal effort in repairs.
