Been living in Austin for 6+ years and Lamb’s Tire and Automotive is always my very top choice of repair, inspection, or anything I feel concerned about my car. It’s dependable, efficient and any charges is reasonable and crystal clear. David has been so kind and helpful. I will be leaving for Cali this month and just have to leave a 5/5 review for all the services throughout the years. It’s a place I would recommend to my family and friends.

This place is amazing. They kept in touch with me regarding repairs to Tiguan Volkswagen and charged reasonable rates for the car tube and service. They know what they are doing here.

I set an appointment to have a tire with a slow leak repaired. Within 45 minutes of arrival, I had my car back, fixed, and no charge. Never had an experience like that before at an auto repair shop. Terrific!

I had such a pleasant experience at this location today… I first spoke to Frank in the garage when I drove up with a low tire. Asked him if they could just check the air pressure for me and he found a nail right away in my tire that I didn’t see. I went inside and the manager Kirk was absolutely amazing and just really one of the kindest people I’ve met in a long time. I also spoke to Doug for a bit and the whole team is just so positive & customer friendly! Wow! What a great experience I had here today I highly recommend this location!

The Far West location is fantastic - super friendly and professional. Its nice they are in the neighborhood and we dont have to drive all the way to a dealership and find a ride home. For the last 5 years, we have had all of our cars serviced here beyond just the standard oil or tire change. They have handled every maintenance issue faster and typically less expensive than the dealerships. David and Doug are always super helpful.

About half my stops with the Far West location result in an adjustment without charge. But they always treat me with full professionalism, and when they do charge me I feel like they have earned it and more. Considerate, knowledgable, quick service...I am really impressed.

I have used the Lambs on Far West for various services (new tires, oil changes, brakes, etc.). I recently arrived at 5:30pm (store closes at 6pm) with a slow leak tire and no appointment. They quickly diagnosed a bolt in the tread, plugged the tire and sent me on my way within 25 mins. Great customer service and quality work!

Ken was extreemly helpful and quick to help me repair my flat tire when I rolled in, in the morning before work… he had me out the door in an hour and a 1/2 and had a quote ready for me (should I choose to get work done down-the-line) for all *reasonably* priced services that they offer as well. Highly recommend this location if you are looking for an honest, and easy to communicate with automotive team.

I always feel really special in this store. They are super friendly and I trust them with all 3 of my vehicles. When they’re super busy, they always text or call me & let me know when I can bring my car in. Very personable. I don’t feel like a number here.

Came in with a low air light. A representative, David, came out to check, put air in my tires, and found a problem that he said could be fixed for free in two hours. He had it fixed in less! Speedy service with a smile. Ive past by Lambs for many years and never stopped but due to Davids great customer service they will be getting future business from me.

I had used this location of Lambs once before for standard maintenance and was pleased with the service and communication.This time I had a leaky tire… which they filled once (when I couldn’t stay) just to see if it would hold air. It did not so I returned for a tire repair. The tire had a nail in it. And to my surprise, Lambs did not charge me for the fix.In a time where inflation has hit and service is spotty, how great is it to find a company that goes above and beyond the customers expectations!!Take your car to Lambs! I went in yesterday and a very nice man helped me, not ideally but he was atleast polite and kind. This morning I went in to go ahead and proceed from the assessment. While waiting I looked up the part that I was told would be $800 and found it was only $452. when I mentioned my confusion to Doug he said “well we are business and have to make money.” To which I said I understand but I was told the part itself cost $800 he proceeded to have even more attitude and shook his head. So much so that when he walked away the fellow employee apologized for him. Doug should NOT be working with customers.

They are super friendly at the Far West location, but I am skeptical of what they told me about my vehicle and what they charged for diagnostics. I came in to make sure I could pass inspection - I knew I needed a couple small things done before I could pass - and to get my A/C checked out. I know I my car is 14 years old, but after checking things out, they told me my car needed almost $5,000 in repairs, including replacing the A/C, and a host of other items. I knew the A/C had a small Freon leak, but my hometown mechanic just replaced the Freon and told me I might have to do the same in a few months/a year(s). It ran cool for two years after that. Lamb’s told me if I didn’t fix the items on the list (except A/C replacement - I’m skeptical the whole thing needs to be replaced), I would not pass inspection. I’m not sure this is true, and friends and family seem to agree. Since my car probably isn’t even worth $5,000, I ultimately just had them replace the right headlight (advised by Mazda not to do it myself on my vehicle model). I know they have to charge something for the cost of diagnostics, but I ended up with a $340 charge just to have them look at my car and change a headlight bulb at the end of the day. I basically spent $340 to have them do almost nothing to the car and to tell me my car is old and worthless, which I already knew. I asked what I needed to do just to get the car to last a little longer, and they basically told me “all of it.” I suspect I was taken advantage of to a certain extent, and I have a sneaking suspicion it’s because I’m a young woman, though I guess I can’t be totally sure. I’m far too familiar with being ripped off in those types of settings for that reason. I’ll still give them two stars, because I can’t complain too much about their actual service, as their employees were all very nice. I would just say to at least get a second opinion or price shop before you go here with any kind of mechanical issue with your vehicle. I’m out what could have been about a month’s new carpayment ($340) because I didn’t.

I came here to check my spare tire before a road trip. It looked busy but surely enough I got help immediately and got my tire inspected and pumped full of air for free. The employee (I believe his name was Ken) was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back next time I need tire services!

These guys were highly professional. They knew how to get me into the tires I wanted (two season, rain tires), steered me toward a great promotional deal saved me $350-400, uncovered a potential long-term issue that needed fixing even though they couldn’t find the parts, told me they’d keep looking and tell me when they had them. Fair, professional, knowledgeable. Couldn’t ask for more.

They were professional and accommodating. They fixed the tire on the bosses car quickly. I appreciate the fact they took my time constraint into consideration.

Ive always taken my vehicle here for routine maintenance. Great customer service, fast and always keep you informed. This time around, I had to have my radiator replaced. Doug kept me in the loop every step of the way. Him and the entire staff were very patient with me and all the times I called! I will always recommend this place!

A quote was submitted online and within the hour the LAMB’S Rep Doug (Far West location) had contacted me via phone. This was a quick turnaround I didn’t expect on a Saturday.Information was provided of having a flat tire with low pressure and possibly being due to a nail. Doug recommend to take it now or before they closed. As I already had prior engagements I decided to go ahead and have my tire serviced as this was a high priority due to the distance so would be traveling.The LAMB’S reps and Doug were really helpful and informative. The wait was not too long, an hour or so would be ideal to wait for.I cannot thank the LAMB’S reps and techs for their great customer service and quick turnaround on contacting me and fixing my tire. Had two slow tire leaks. Scheduled an appointment at Lambs for the morning. Had a quick and easy checkin. Their waiting area was clean cool and socially distanced. It took exactly the time they estimated. But the kicker was that when I went to pay, they said it was no charge. I usually dont get this level of service when I am paying a lot, so to get it for a free repair was a big surprise. Nicely done!

We were gone for a month and on return, my BMW told me that its right front tire had 0 pressure. Drove slowly to get it filled at a gas station. Took the car to Lambs and they fixed a nail hole in about 45 minutes and for free!Great service and communication.

Car maintenance is never fun, but Lamb’s delivers an experience that is as good as can be expected. I find them to be transparent, fair, and of high quality of work. Recently a supplier was persistently late with a shipment which Lamb’s was able to negotiate a nice discount. They are always professional and courteous. Happy to continue to do business with them!

Took my car for state inspection a few weeks ago and it was quick and easy. Got my plates yesterday, but the screws had rusted over and WD40 didn’t do the trick. So I took it to Lamb’s, and they took a few minutes out of their day to help get the screws loose. Now I drive around and people have no idea I just moved from California. Winning.

Just needed an oil change and emissions test since I recently bought the truck. Came right before closing to pick up and found out they didn’t do the emissions test because the inspection was good for a while. Explained the situation and they were very apologetic, I was more than willing to come back the next day but they knocked it out real quick while I was there. Great service, I really appreciate it.

The team at Lambs was he able to work me in with a pretty tight schedule. They were able to take care of numerous issues with my vehicle, without any hassls. I just had a great experience with the staff here. They were very honest with me. I came to change oil. They told me I hadn’t reached the mileage yet and I didn’t need to change it right now. My tire pressure light was also on. They helped me fix it and also helped me add some windshield water in. I appreciated their services. I will definitely come back for future services.

Had a great experience here, they took my car about 2pm and I got it back by 6pm. Lambs was fair in their pricing. The man who did my intake was very nice and said I would get my car back by end of day. I did not believe him, but he was right. K.D. who checked me out was nice and answered any question I had. My experiences with automotive repair companies have not been positive in the past... Glad that changed with Lambs.

My car (almost) broke down late Friday night so I panicked because I thought I couldn’t get it repaired on a Saturday. Luckily, Lambs was open until 5pm ! I called, and when I arrived, Doug was the guy that helped me. He was super kind, and very informative. Considering I don’t know much about vehicles, it helped a lot 😂 anyways, everyone was super nice and they were very quick as well! My car was finished in a few hours and they replaced both front axles, did an oil change, repaired a motor Mount, replaced some studs and lug nuts that needed fixing, etc. probably a few other things that were needed too lol.

Lambs is my go to place. My husband and I deal mostly with David and always feel well looked after. Great communication with regular updates on what’s going on with the car. Would recommend Lambs.

I called at around 4:15 pm on a Friday and asked if the shop did inspections. The man who answered said yes and asked when I wanted to come in. I said now, and je said come on by, so I did. When i got there another man took my info and got my key and insurance and went out to look at the car. A minute later he came back and said the two front tires were dangerously worn and would prevent the car from passing inspection. He quoted me a price that seemed fair and said they would call me when the car was done. I only live a few blocks away so i just walked home. In less than an hour he called and said my car was ready to go. Ive never had such quick tire service before! Everyone was super friendly, too.

I’ve been using this Farwest location for many years. Both my Wife’s Classic Jeep and mine are cared for by this fantastic crew. I must say my visits for the upkeep are delightful ( movie screenings by D included) with rest assured the price won’t knock you out of your seat. We will continue using Lambs as long as the Jeep exteriors hold out.

These guys provide great service, fair pricing and take care of you if you have a problem. Working with David was great as always and he did a good job of locating some hard-to-find tires. Yes, you can save a few pennies in the short-term by going the Tire Rack route, but in doing so you lose personalized service, free rotations and flat repair. Well worth the small difference.

Kirk at Lambs was very helpful! He helped us get out car fixed with total transparency. Matt helped diagnose our main reason for going (strange noise coming from the front of the car) very quickly after hearing about it. They gave us a breakdown of what else needed to be repaired and how they affect the vehicle. Will definitely go again when I need to car repair!
