Not great. Went in for a pedicure. They charge $10 extra to scrape callus on your heel. Didn’t do a complete job. Better value and work elsewhere.

So when I first pulled in into the shopping center I did not find the nail salon right away. I went all around the parking lot until I went to the other side where panda expresses is and I saw it. Well when I first walked in immediately the lady asked me to wash my hands and I did. I showed my nail tech a picture on Pinterest on how I want them and they dont look exactly alike but I love the shape and the color. I am only giving 4 stars because when she was buffing down my nails she was going way to rough that one of my nails started bleeding. I understand she was trying to get the bumps out but it was just way to hard. My nail tech did apologize and I still tipped her because I loved them I just wish she wouldnt have gone that rough. I definitely do recommend this place. They are so friendly so clean. The inside is very cute to. I will definitely be coming back.

This salon is nice and clean. They have a good selection of nail polish that you pick from a book. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because I had my nails done and the color wasn’t mixed well. My nails looked like they were painted with mood changing polish, when the color I picked was most definitely not supposed to be mood changing polish.

Ive been going to this place for over a year now, and Ive never been disappointed.I literally get a different person each time, they are all really good.Great service, pretty fast turn out, so many color options for dip.Highly recommended!

Well lit. Open space. Clean. Well organized.Greeted upon entry. Explained my desire and was serviced within seconds. Technician explained available options clearly (obviously English is not their 1st language), without any confusion. I received manicure, extensions, powder: full set, and it only took a little over 40 minutes. Was offered water for no charge. They explained calmly what they were doing as they worked. After each step they checked with me to see if I comfortable and satisfied (so far). When the process was complete, other additional services were offered as prices were made clear after offer. I agreed, eyebrow and upper lip waxing. As before, they communicated calmly what they doing before each step and checked my well being and satisfaction immediately afterwards. Waxing took less than 10 minutes.Proper oils and sanitation took place throughout visit. I was able to pay easily. Service was fast and thorough.Personal Opinion: I have NEVER had my nails professionally done before, and I suffer from acute anxiety that is exasperated by any physical touch in public places. I did NOT inform them of this, but they were so careful and communicated so well I did not succumb to any emotional episodes during my visit. Not to mention the waxing was simple and VERY tidy( I HAVE waxed before). My nails are perfect. This is exactly what I desired.Will Return!

Had to write an updated review for VS Nails because Daisy killed it yet again! She always comes through with an amazing set every time, and she made my nails look even better than the photo I showed her of what I wanted. I am in love! I also want to give a shout out to Mindy who always keeps me looking beautiful with my lash extensions, and she does a great set of nails as well. The entire staff makes you feel welcome, especially Jimmy. He always makes sure his customers walk out of his salon feeling like a million bucks.I will be moving to Georgetown this summer but I will gladly drive 20+ minutes to be pampered at VS Nails, and will keep going back as long as I am in the Austin area! I cant brag about this place enough. The team here is so cool and loving. 3 large TVs, and offer you 1 free beverage during your appointment- maybe youd like a frozen margarita.They are open 7 days a week and the quality of product and services will never let you down.

I Absolutely love this place! I’ve been going to Mindy and Jimmy since they were at their other location and my 18yr old daughter was just a elementary school kid. They are loving and kind and so good at what they do! Mindy is the only one I’ll let touch my eyebrows. Everyone there is so nice and skilled. This place is the only place I will ever go for nails, toes and waxing!They are very covid cautious and follow appropriate procedures to make everybody feel safe and comfortable at all times. If your new to the area this is a place you can call home.

VS salon= Very Sad salon...I went to this salon because my go to one was very busy. Yea they got me in quick-but not very friendly.. I got a mani and I pedi..the woman who did my toes was ok.. The woman who did my manicure was VERY rough. Yanking and twisting my fingers around, 2 of my nails were bleeding when I left. Maybe she was having a bad day? I reshaped my nailswhen I got home...I still tipped well...but definitely will not be going back

I went in for a Deluxe Pedicure with gel polish. After a 20 minute wait, a nail tech began to do my nails and things were going well.After applying the gel polish, the tech put the UV light over my left foot and it burnt my nails. The tech then told me that it happens sometimes with that specific UV light as the light may be faulty and to take my foot out for a second and put it back in.I followed instructions and she started on my right foot. This time the UV light burned 10x worse! I removed both of my feet and began to put my shoes on to leave because I refuse to suffer from third degree burns because of their cheap equipment.I asked to speak to the manager because I refuse to pay the up charge for the gel polish since she didnt finish due to the burning. The manager tried to argue me down about it and claimed that I lied about the UV light being faulty. I called the nail tech over and she confirmed that the UV light was faulty. The manager was in denial and wanted to continue to argue me down about it.I paid the base price for the pedicure and left. BEWARE!

After paying for my gel manicure, so expensive, the gel manicure start peeling off after 3 days.i am so disappointed at their service.and this is the second time this is happening. Which i could snap this nails and put it here.

Called an hour before arriving to setup an appointment for a pedicure, one person. Got there at the time they suggested, waited 20 mins, sat in the chair just for no one to say hello or even give me the service prices for the pedicures. Got to leave and absolutely no one said anything. Horrible customer service.

I have a total of 4 years coming to Mindy and Jimmy, Ever since their other location and now that they moved to this location. If they move again I would go to where they moved. I already drive 20 min from my house to them I wouldnt mind driving a bit more if it meant having my nails look perfect and my eyebrows on point!Honestly you wont go wrong with this place. If you are going to spend your money at least make sure you are investing into a good set of nails. Where you will be sure their quality of product is awesome and MOST important of all the sanitation is done properly.Also, the owners are always keeping up with the new trends and are always updating everything from their products to the check out system.Overall they care about their customers!5 stars!!

I appreciated her recommendations after I told her what I wanted but still stuck to my own choice and she still did a great job. I had my old acrylics removed with a classic mani and she did everything with patience and precision with some occasional short conversation. I love my cute basic nails! Not to mention their margarita, wine and waters to choose from!

Get Jimmy! He is so sweet. He genuinely conversates with you! He did such an amazing job. I got the SNS nails after hearing how much better they are for your nails than acrylic. Definitely recommend this place. Everyone is so friendly. You can also have wine while you get them done! SNS nails were $50 for me. Never going anywhere else!

Had both pedicure and manicure. Paid for the deluxe and gel. Not at all happy with either. Gel should last longer my cuticles already look bad. Gel is lifting already not even a week later. ( I do not have a heavy duty job. I dont even do dishes) not at all worth the $90 I paid. Really pretty new decor but other than that definitely will not be going again.

Today was my first time visiting and the salon is nice and clean. VERY VERY fast service. I got a 55 min pedicure and my nail tech Daisy (she’s super bomb) was done before the pedicure was done. Which never happens to me I usually get stuck in the salon ( not this salon) 3 + hours when I get my nails and toes done. Daisy was super detailed with shaping and all that good stuff. I definitely will be back and really do recommend!

So, I like this place for my nails for the most part.. but Ive only had them done here twice and the second time they were rushed but I didnt complain. But I went in yesterday 4/19 and got my brows waxed and the young lady burnt me. It didnt feel especially hot when she put the wax on but she put anything on them to soothe them before I left. I thought that was something they were supposed to do but I hadnt had my brows done in a month or so, so its my fault for not remembering how its done I guess. Anyways, now it burns. Its been burning since yesterday and Im in San Antonio for a family function and cant go back to complain in person. Im super upset about it not only because it hurts but because I cant put on makeup to cover it up because it hurts to touch it.. so my reviews are as follows: five stars for the first time I got my nails done. Three stars for the second time when I took my son with me and he got his done too. One star for yesterdays brows wax.

Jimmy, Mindy, and their team always do a fantastic job. Cleanliness and thorough work is what I was looking for and I found it here. The smiles from the entire team ( and hearing Jimmy singing while he works) makes it an experience each time I’m in. I get my pedicures and and manicures here about every 2 weeks.

Been going here about 3-4 months. The past few months it hasn’t been that great . The lady that does my nails would speed through them and not pay attention to what’s she doing, every time I go in I ask for them to leave my nails thick so they don’t break easy and she never listens to me no matter how many times I ask in one visit.

Nice lady. I wanted just pink acrylic (no color just clear pink!) she used a milky pink (not see through!) and my nails are think and lumpy. Sadly I am use to a higher quality job from this location. I will fix them at home. Sad visit.

This salon does not need to be open right now. They are not compliant with the COVID 19 process and their customer service is lacking now. Had an appt at 5:30 today and 30 mins later I was still waiting with no explanation. This was a Mother’s Day present for my Mom and they didn’t even speak to her (had an appt at the same time as me). Owner stated his employees did not want to come to work and one of the employees confirmed they were purposely not answering the phones. Will never be back now.

It started as a small nail salon in a non-descript shopping center and has grown exponentially. Theyve made great use of the space and have updated significantly to stay competitive in the world of nails. There is always someone who greets you and the quality of the work is always top notch. Ive visited other nearby salons and hands down, this is my go-to in the area.

The place is really nice I went yesterday and the lady didn’t do my nails how I wanted to be like they were really short and I told her to do it medium then she said Do you want me to take ur nails off, but they already had the acrylic so I just said it’s ok but I was kinda mad too and she didn’t blend it how it was supposed to be . She didn’t even cut my cuticles 🤦🏽‍♀️ & I payed $50 and if I wanted medium it was gonna be $60 . I ready though they were going to be really cute the nails bit just didn’t like it . And she didn’t see if they were the same size and one of my finger was crooked and the size were not the same Some are big and some are small .
