I wanted to love this place I did, because I love there take off technique for healthier nails they do great job on pedicures sometimes. You’ll know there is no worst feeling than hating your nails for the next 2 weeks & I’m kinda disappointed right now! I went in for a French SNS she didn’t do it all the way down my nail bed. They fixed it, but just with a white coat just made them look tacky a French mani should have pink under tone w/ white tip, my nail bed looks white not pink!Not the first time they mess up on my nails spending 120$-130$ every 2 weeks I feel played at this point! The waits are long about 30 mins-hour each time for the work not to be great! Nail bed shouldn’t be this white on a French & idk what that shadow is on my pedi tried to tell them when I went in to fix my nails, but disregarded me I didn’t feel like complaining more, So sorry not sorry!

Very disappointed, I just left the salon. I wanted a little pampering and I didn’t wanted to do my nails on my own, since I wanted gel that lasted for a couple of days. A friend recommended me the salon and I decided to try it. I regret my decision very much.

Pretty disappointed… I asked for a dip manicure when I walked in, but I guess there was some confusion because my nails were treated as a gel manicure. The nail tech eventually learned it was dip, but I was still charged for the cuticle cutting although it was not what I asked for. I also asked for square nails and they turned out quite round and thick- as well as three nails being crooked that a different nail tech was able to somewhat fix.

Hit or miss depending on who is your nail tech. overall pretty good and they are able to take almost any walk in. Ask for Tania as your tech if shes available

Tried Soco nails because my friend always raves about it. I heard multiple people in there say what a great job they do, but my technician let me down. After what felt like a really quick pedicure, I went for my manicure and asked for squiggle line design in one nail. She just responded “No”. So I a picked white polish. Bummed because I left with crooked nails and polish on many places on my skin. Wanted to love it but was disappointed.

This used to be one of the best salons in south Austin. Loved coming here. But the last few visits have left me horribly frustrated. IfYou make an appointment, do not expect it to be kept. The last and final visit, they sat us then ignored us for forty minutes. When I complained, they started with my daughter. After another 20 minutes of sitting I finally cancelled. They then immediately served the customers who came in afterwards.They did comp my daughter’s pedicure, so I gladly give credit there. But I won’t be returning.

Good quality work, but its always super busy and a wait despite making an appointment. Staff is great, and will get you taken care of.

My first time ever coming here I didn’t have the best experience i didn’t get any service done it was honestly just super busy that day. Decided to give it another try today and i’m sooooo glad I did! I got the volcano pedicure and Nhi did such a great job!! She was super sweet and my feet look/feel amazing!!

This place is cute and pretty inexpensive for what you get! They really took their time with my nails and made sure I liked the color before putting it on the extensions.

My new favorite nail place! I always get SNS but my old place wasn’t lasting that long anymore. My nails have held up and still look so beautiful! So happy with my switch. They also have amazing Covid precautions in place, I felt so safe!

Had an appointment but waited 40 minutes anyway. paid $45 for powder gel - four nails chipped/broke badly in less than 5 days. Also the guy seemed annoyed that I didnt want gel on my toes (Ive never been asked that before). I live out of town so cant go back and demand a refund but had to get my gel soaked off and pay for another manicure at home.

I went here today for the first time because it had such amazing reviews and I would not go back for the nails. The staff is super friendly and their customer service is wonderful. The place is very nice and they are well staffed. Every little mistake I asked them to fix they did and were very polite. but at the end of the day, I still feel my nails could have been done better elsewhere, unfortunately. Couple of my nails are crooked and one was shaved down way too much. I also asked for a design and it was a little messy and the lettering was not done how I would have liked. I will give Tanya 5 stars for my eyelash perm and tint though! Will definitely be back to have my lashes done again.

Beautiful new salon! There are endless color and design options. The salon is well set up with plenty of seating. They are friendly and accommodating offering a drink selection while you have a manicure/ pedicure. The staff are all friendly and great conversationalists. Prices are excellent especially for the amazing quality of work. I live out of town but wish this was my local nail salon.

Beautiful Spa with kind understanding staff! I VERY pleased with my nails, I feel like a princess. At first I was worried 1 nail would be crooked, but Steven fixed it before I even said anything. I also gave them a picture of what I wanted and this is what I got (see pictures) so its not exactly what I wanted, but I LOVE THEM ANYWAY :)

I live in the area and stopped here on a whim after shipping something at the UPS store next door. I went in hoping to have a gel pedicure and I also had an old set of nails that needed to be taken off but was still up in the air about what I wanted to do to my nails next. After not being greeted, being bounced around from staff to staff and a bunch of unanswered questions I became frustrated and decided to only have the old set of nails removed. I was offered “dip” nails on multiple occasions by multiple staff, but they would not take the time to listen or address any of my questions. I understand there’s a language barrier, but the staff made no effort to communicate with me whatsoever. A big part of the problem was that they literally had a different person working on my nails every few minutes that I had to try to reexplain what I needed to. (I wanted to know how thin the dip nails could be, because I’m not a fan of thick nails) So since I can’t get my question about the dip answered, I tell them just to take off the set and I’ll wear my natural nails with gel polish. A (once again) totally different male staff member comes and removes most of the old set, then proceeds to loudly insult my natural nails saying they’re too thin and short and that I needed the dip, all while giggling with the tech next to him. I had one nail that had broken in the old set that was much shorter than the others. I asked if I could have that one done with the dip to match the others. I was told no, that they couldn’t dip just one nail. (Why not??) I told him to please just remove the old set and that I wanted to leave. He laughed, said something in another language to the nail tech next to him, they laugh. He actually held my hand up in the air and said, “there’s no nails!!” while laughing with the other tech again. By this point I was so upset (and I’m an angry crier) so I knew it was time to leave. I asked him to please finish taking the acrylic off my nails so I could just pay and go and that I’d rather just go somewhere else at that point. He “finishes” taking off the old set and left me with rough edges, uneven nails and acrylic still on my nails in thick sheets....sloppy! I will have to go to another salon just to have the acrylic correctly removed. The thick parts will not come off and the thin parts are flaking off everywhere. They actually did the impossible and made me feel less than human. I haven’t had this bad of an experience at a nail salon in my lifetime, and I wouldn’t be caught dead giving them another PENNY of my money. Not sure what I did to deserve to be treated so poorly 🤷🏾‍♀️ Just to clarify and restate, I ASKED him to finish and PAID before leaving.

I like the social distance and the fact they check temperatures at the door. Vanna did my mani pedi and she did an awesome job. Will be going back regularly

Beautiful, new salon, in a great location. Plenty of parking. I dont have one particular tech that I go to, but everyone that Ive had is amazing! They take their time, and make sure you are satisfied with your nails. Plenty of colors to choose from as well! They even offer a complimentary adult beverage! 😁 I definitely recommend making an appointment though, as they are ALWAYS busy, and for obvious reasons. You wont be disappointed!

Ive gone here about 3-4 times now and I have loved it every single time. Theyre really good at what they do and of course, no one is perfect but whatever mistakes they do are definitely not a big deal. It can be a little more expensive than other places but it is very worth it because they do such an amazing job! I will be back for another nail job :)

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. Went here for a gel manicure while visiting Austin for work. They were sold out of the 11 polish colors I tried choosing. The nail tech was extremely rude to me each time I chose a new color that they no longer carried from their color samples. I was brought to the back and told to find the polish myself (as if the it was my fault). My nails were done in a hurry and very sloppy (nail polish all over my fingers). So disappointing. I rarely leave bad reviews but this was the worst. Don’t waste your time here.

I was there to get both acrylic and pedicure. Pedicure was great and the acrylic process did not take long either. Quality is not the best the gentleman that did mine was kind enough to fix the areas that needed fixing but i was still not satisfied with the ending result. 2 nails fell off within he first week and the design was not close to what i asked. Great service, work needs improvement.

Awesome new location for SoCo Nails. The staff is super nice, the space is super clean. My girls and I have had our nails done by 4 different techs and they all did a great job. From classy short to extra long stileto they nailed it every time.I highly recommend this nail salon!!!

I have zero complaints about this salon. Staff are great, the salon is spacious and has a nice vibe. Plus they were playing cute animals videos in the pedicure room!

I use to go a lot when they first opened and loved it no complaints but I went a couple of weeks ago and got a new lady which I was fine with no biggie, Ill give her the benefit of the doubt. The next day while at work one of my nails broke, I was very upset I asked myself over and over why, while looking at them I then realized they were paper thin, so i went back the next day to fix it, at first it wasnt a problem until another lady had to fix it she was rough and rude and talking in another language I asked her if she could make then a little thicker so they wouldnt break again i dont know if she was upset at the fact that she had to fix it for free or what, when i ask her why shes doing them so fast, she replys with oh you need nails fixed BTW they still didnt come out the way i wanted Im currently looking for a new nail place. Im very disappointed!

My daughter is getting married tomorrow and her bridesmaids came as a group and one of the girls got very bad service!! She came in yesterday 1/4/20 and it looked like she needed a full already!! We sure came back this morning 1/5/20 to have them redone! And they had such a bad attitude about it too... this is definitely not what we’re used too here!!!

This is my FAVORITE nail salon of ALL TIME! :-) The decor is very modern, trendy and relaxing. The techs are gifted. Quang is who I see and he is a perfectionist. He treats each set of nails like hes creating an art piece. My nails always look great and last a really long time. Im not the best about getting there for timely fills and the nails hold up for longer than 3 weeks most of the time. Been seeing this crew since before they moved to SoCo Nails and will continue to do so as long as theyll have me!

I have been to this salon a couple times and both times it has been dreadful. I got my eyebrows waxed a few months ago and the waxing room was cluttered and the bed was dirty. She didnt clean my skin before waxing and the wax pot was filthy. She double dipped into the wax pot using the same stick. She took way too much off and my brows were uneven. Today I came in and said I needed a fill, and the guy said Refill ok. When I sat down the lady used a dirty towel under my hands and proceeded to take my nails all the way off, and I was then told that they dont do refills here. No one has their license displayed on their station which makes me wonder if everyone is even licensed. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

TINA was awesome. If you are a man and need someone to get in there and get your toes done. She is the one to ask for. No girly pedicure here, Im a new regular from here on out.

This is the only place in South Austin that I recommend that you get your nails done they’re so nice and sweet and the most professional I have seen they are very clean it’s a pleasant place to be I love the decorations on the wall they even offer you a drink when you go in there they have to hospitality services and do exactly what you asked them to do they pay attention to detail and do not treat you like just a number I suggest you make an appointment too it if you don’t like sitting there waiting

Was told 5 min to do my nails so my spouse dropped me off. Waited 20 min to be told that I wouldn’t be able to get my nails done for another half an hour. Poor attitude, unprofessional, a waste of time.

My daughter went there last Saturday on November 9th when they first opened up to get her nails done. It is just now a week today and already two nails has broken off before her first week. Called and was told they would fix it for free went there two days in a row only for the staff to play games and say they dont know and she has to wait an hour. Worst service I will not be recommending this place to none of my family or friends. The staff doesnt know anything or they act like they know nothing. My daughters nails should has lasted longer than one week to break.

I absolutely loved them until today. I got my nails done less than a week ago and the accent nail design had already begin to dissolve the day i got them done so I finally made it back so they could fix it a little less than a week later. The manager Quang was very cold and dry so I knew he was annoyed with me because Im a very bright and bubbly person. Then he tells me if I need a repair not to be the 1st customer of the day because in their culture they believe that will make them have a slow day. Mind you they are an absolutely amazing nail salon and so what the 1st customer needs done has no bearing on how their workday flow will be. I did directly tell him if I was a white woman he would have NEVER said that but I guess as a black woman he felt like he could condescend me. Well I let Quang know that for sure. I left hurt, embarrassed, and humiliated. I should not leave with tears from a place I go to feel relaxed and beautiful especially when Ive always given them the best of me being polite and friendly. As a mental health social worker I should have schooled him on the cognitive distortion magical thinking. Im so hurt because Kim does my pedis and I absolutely adore her! But with this level of disrespect I should not go back there...

Terrible costumer service!!I went the first time to do my nails and paid $40 +$10 tips,. Had to come the second week to fixed 2 nails for $15 more.Came today the third week 2 more nails came out. I removed the rest of the nails and asked them to do it without tip.They don’t have any shame! No consideration and super impolite.I was expecting at least to get a discount but they charged my the whole price.They are very rude and cheap!!

I gave this place a couple of chances, based on the reviews I thought maybe I just was not having good luck but here we go. First visit, made an appointment for a gel manicure got helped right away (made it for the time when they opened), tech did not ask me what shape I wanted for my my nails but I got lucky and she ended up doing it the shape I wanted, ok. Paint job polish started chipping off easily. Second visit, made an appointment for a gel manicure as well waited over 30 minutes anyways, nail tech asked do you want to trim them down? i said yes but a little, she trimmed my pinky nail so short didnt ask me how much length, I was sad because I was growing out my natural nail for a while, I dealt with it, damage was done and short nails dont bother me. Paint job meh, kinda shotty and messy. Chipped of quickly, again. Third visit, made an appointment for a color change, waited over 45 minutes for some one to help me, tech finally helped me put the foils around my nails, nail tech went off to do something else, had the foils on for an extremely long time, finally got helped and moved over to another station, the tech started to remove my polish then he looked at the nail polish and said it wouldnt look good with my short nails I appreciated the input so I went to go pick another polish, I got put from the chair picked another polish was about to walk back to the nail station there was another customer sitting there and the tech was already helping some one else, just left me looking like a deer in headlights, another tech finally helped me, they put on the polish and it looked nothing like the sample, I was like what ever, this is fine please get me out of this place. Again shotty polish job. Chipped quickly. 4th time there, made an appointment (right when they opened) to get my polish removed so I can go to a different place to get my nails done had to wait 30 + minutes once again because there was like 2 employees there and tons of customers waiting, finally got helped, got my polish removed and got the heck out of there. I really tried giving this place a shot but I was disappointed again and again. On top of everything it was upsetting seeing select customers be treated nicer and getting drinks offered to them and getting helped right away. Ive been getting my nails done for a very long time, I know what good service looks like and what a good nail job is and this place has none of those qualities. I have found a great new place that paints my nails perfectly, asks me what kind of shapes I want, meets my appointments to a tee and most of all treats me respectfully.

I went in 5 minutes after they open for a pedicure. The guy said it’d be a few minutes so I chose my color and sat down. I also asked to have my SNS on my hands taken off, I usually get them redone but needed to let them grow a little bit because they were getting thin. So he wrapped my nails to soak off the SNS and sat me in a pedicure chair and said it’d be a few minutes. They girl next to me walked in right before me and she was being serviced (pedicure). He didn’t turn on the water so I was sitting there watching the TV they had on with AFV videos on. I watched three loops of the same videos because I couldn’t use my hands to look at my phone or read a magazine or anything. Then I took off one of the wraps and looked at my phone and realized I’d been sitting there for 45 minutes. The lady next to me was almost finished with her pedicure. So I asked them to forget the pedicure and just remove the SNS because I wanted to leave. He apologized a lot and was very nice but it doesn’t excuse the fact that nothing was communicated to be and I felt like I was just left there. No one even asked if I wanted something to drink while I wait or anything. Apparently somebody didn’t show up for work and that’s why the wait was so long. I’m a very understanding person, I know it unpredictable if someone doesn’t show up for work. But nothing was communicated to me, if someone had told me that I would have made an appointment for later and came back. I might try them again because I really liked their color selection but this kind of put a bad taste in my mouth. Two stars because he was really nice at the end but I definitely wasn’t happy with the service.

This used to be my go to place, but the technicians work got way too sloppy. Had an sns maincure once and tiffany put a gel top coat on my nails and they starting peeling within a day. Had another tech cant remeber her name, Cassie, maybe? Didnt even file my nails and thy were all uneven. The techs dont pay attention or care about the work they are doing. Sadly I am going to have to lool for a new salon.

This place is the BEST in town hands down! I live close to Cesar park and I make the drive to SOCO nails because it is worth it. The service is always great, everyone is so friendly and professional. Everything is extremely clean and organized. Tha ambiance is great. The spa chairs are amazing, they do wonders for my back, neck and feet. My nails are always the best. I literally get at least 5 comments a day about my nails. I love this place! If you are looking for a place that will give you above and beyond nails, mani, pedi treatment THIS IS THE PLACE! I guarantee you will leave the place feeling brand new every time, and what better way to complete your outfit than with a set of beautiful Nails and toes to match!
